The SEC filings are obtainable at liquidmetal.com. I'm sure they state whether or not the company has revenue.
"What will Steipp be saying one year from now?"
Hopefully, "You're welcome."
I have been thinking; obviously there would be a patent for the "add-on" for the engel machines ... Would that be held in Crucible ... iow, would Apple have the rights to it. I think apple would want to mfg their own parts meaning they would need a machine, and to make LQMT parts they will either need to design their own add-on or machine from scratch, or get these machines and/or add-on parts from Engel. Since LQMT was part of the design team, I would assume that they have a say in how the add-on gets licensed. Could this in fact be a way to generate revenue from apple? Also, when companies purchase injection molding machines, is it generally a one-time payment or is it more like licensing (pay $x.xx per x amount of pieces made)? Obviously there will be a cost to have engel support the machines as well (if the company wanted to pay it) ... Would LQMT engineers be part of the support team (aka revenue)?? I think it's great that the part will work with existing machines though I've no idea how many it is compatible with or who owns them.
That's what I'm thinking. Of course, I would assume it would only apply to engel machines; I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing as I don't know which companies are using their machines that would benefit with liquidmetal. Any idea who makes the machines Apple uses?
Please translate that article into English. Stopped reading halfway thru because it was too difficult.
The problem I have is that it didn't predict a damn thing. The only thing it said was 'I will have had the stock for a year' ... That's the only reason it was even talking about July. Really wish it would just stop talking sometimes.
Did it seriously just respond to your post SIX separate times?
Wouldn't be the first time Samsung used apples patents without permission.
Are you saying that all fingerprint scanners ever made have been made of liquidmetal?? ZOMG, where's the money?
Stop posting outdated shit please.
I still want to see a picture of the knife. I find it hard to believe they would take the time and effort to stamp liquidmetal technologies' logo on the blade yet steipp had no knowledge of this company / product.
So short it this afternoon and be happy. Stop wasting this board's time with your nonsense.
Awesome.
Can you please provide a picture of the knife?
To me it looks like the logo is protruding from the back of the iPad. IMO I don't believe that would be the case if it were liquidmetal as the materials would be flush (like what swatch did with their implementation)
Oh boy!!! Look at this thing fly!!
Yeah right.
Watts, if anybody would know, you would ... Is this new or something that was made years ago?
This just seems fishy.
Not sure if this was posted already, but VPC is no longer 'coming soon'.

Is it just me or do you not like to use periods it makes your comments so hard to read please start using more periods the board might appreciate it at the very least I would.
Was thinking the exact same thing.
I gather the same ... all aluminum. But just to stir things up, I will point out that step 14 on the last page actually includes the phrase "liquid metal" though I don't believe it has anything to do with LQMT. Go nuts.
Add one more member to the manager team as of Jan 31st.

Are you saying that a liquidmetal case is not possible in china? Nothing nowhere has stated that apple wants to manufacture in the states to bring out liquidmetal. I fail to see how this can be considered positive when relating to LQMT.
If it is the same customer, it would make no sense at all as to why they can mention the name in a conference call, but not in a press release; public = public. I hope for LQMT's sake that it is in fact, a different customer; otherwise it makes LQMT look really bad, like they are trying to have shareholders believe this is a 2nd customer; almost sounds like fraud.
Apparently you didnt get it. iDoubt It with the little i indicating an apple product .... People on this board new to relax and have fun.
I'm sorry but your comment is a bit misleading about the reverse split. It certainly doesn't sound like doing the split is a priority for them, or even something they are actively pursuing. These are his exact words as pulled from your recording you uploaded.
"There is certainly an opportunity for that, but I think we need to get to the point where uh revenues going out the door and there is some multiple so that if we do a reverse split the shareholders will <something>"
I don't think this is pertinent at this time.
Wouldn't that be where the two glass panels on either end of the back side (in the pictures we have seen recently that are two-toned) come in to play??
Shlubtastic's post states 'Aluminum alloy'. Since Apple has rights to liquidmetal R&D, doesn't that mean they could add whatever metals they want to to it, in order to make a better alloy that works better for their application? I know nothing of the structure or properties of liquidmetal, but is it possible that Apple decided to add aluminum to this compound, which allows them to "machine" it, rather than inject it? Would it still be resistant to scratches / dents??
business development personnel -- salesmen?
Sales and Marketing
We direct our marketing efforts towards customers that will incorporate our components and products into their finished goods. To that end, we intend to hire additional business development personnel who, in conjunction with engineers and scientists, will actively identify potential customers that may be able to benefit from the introduction of Liquidmetal alloys to their products.
Is it possible for Apple's version of Liquidmetal to contain Aluminum? Or that it could be mistaken for Aluminum?

At the same time, Japanese blog Macotakara.jp says that the iPhone 5 is well underway, and as proof of the pudding, says that the back of the new iPhone has both glass and aluminium.
Irrelevent. It says 'YALE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING & APPLIED SCIENCE'
The whole damn forest could fall down around him and it wouldn't be heard.
It mentions Taobao ... I don't know chinese, but I attempted a search on their website and found this:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.10.247&id=14905041932
Plenty of pictures on the page.
I can't help but wonder if the smudges are intentional. If it is a "photoshopped" picture, there would be no smudges. On the other hand, why would the photographer not clean the thing before snapping the pic?? Seems to me like somebody is trying hard to prove lqmt will not be used.
I must say that the "rendered" images look like crap ... if they wanted to show something that hasn't been seen before, they would have done a much better job on it. Also, I've read the rumor where they are supposedly moving the camera above the speaker, and I see the supposed camera above the speaker, but then what the heck is the little dot to the left of the speaker? My only guess would be another camera, but why? IMO, this is fake.
FYI, that is May 3rd, not June.
