Thanks, Sharpei, for your explanation. Let us hope that there is some good news pendiing!
Sharpei, do your charts indicate a change tomorrow in the overall market or a change in the specific trajectory for AMBS?
You don't do it for the SEC, you do it for the lawyers.
That is more or less the response that I got as well. Thanks.
No, my account doesn't allow borrowing on penny stocks and certain other very volatile stocks but it does allowing borrowing on the more "blue chip" type stocks. I know I can't borrow on my ELTP shares (even though I have an account that permits me to have margin) but I was trying to avoid having my broker lend those shares out to shorts. Just as I don't use stop-losses I was trying to prevent shorts from being able to borrow my ELTP shares.
Thanks for the response. I will ask. Since I have them in a margin account I have put them on a high sell order anyway - just in case it keeps them from being loaned.
another question that I had on the opposite end. I have been told that one should place a sell order (at a very high price - let's say $20) on your stock just to prevent it from being loaned out by the brokerage firm to shorts. Does that actually help? Or is that unnecessary?
Do you see any other catalysts that might affect us other than a Vet deal in the next month or so?
The time to buy shares is now.
Thanks, Pharmrat, for your excellent summary. For those of us who are not familiar with the field it is very helpful.
Thanks, Pitcook, for your measured and thoughtful post. It has been discouraging for us all to be caught in the doldrums! Hopefully, this is a sign that a little breeze may begin to blow.
Thanks for posting. The potential here seems very deep.
Nor blind mice!
That would be my advice as well!
I think that you are correct and that a "continue" is what we should anticipate. To expect more than that, at this point, is unrealistic, in my opinion. We should be pleased with a continue because that will certainly keep us on course. We should not let ourselves get into a situation where a "continue" is perceived as a disappointment.
Unfortunately, I do not have a subscription that gives me access to private messaging. Is there some other way that I could communicate?
Sharpei, I am sure that I am not alone in being interested in understanding your TA. Please do not hesitate to share - many of us would like to learn, despite what others may say.
Do you think this could have something to do with needing to keep some information confidential (ie. with regard to possible partnerships) in case the threatened shareholder lawsuit actually starts asking for company information in trying to build a case? Just trying to protect themselves from having information leaked that could be detrimental to future projects?
Could you explain what you mean by "confidential treatment order"?
Thanks for posting the video. Do you think this is NWBO's therapy that is being used here?
It looks as though in the last half hour there were three good sized trades which probably came to a total of about 23k (looked like a 10, an 8 and a 5 on the chart in my Schwab account). Sorry if I misled you, Steve! I just happened to check in at the end of the day and saw a definite spike in the share price in the last few minutes.
I can't tell how big it actually was - the volume on Yahoo says 64k for the day but I think the buy could have been 30 or 40k. I remember thinking that the volume earlier was very thin. Other than this trade, the day was totally moribund.
Interesting to see a big buy again at the end of what had been a very soporific day. Any thoughts?
John, thank you for posting these responses from Cologne. I think that they cannot but help encourage everyone!
Couldn't Actavis fit the category of a European company? I think for tax reasons it's head office is in Dublin.
Pitcook, I agree with you. I admit that I am a little baffled by the negative reaction to this news. It looks like a necessary and logical step to me.
If you haven't read it yet, this article is well worth it.

It puts the current crisis in a more balanced perspective. I am still hanging in there!
No, you are not. There are some more of us out there!
Any news of anything? I don't know how we can still be listed.
That is true, however, since we had a significant down day yesterday, I would have thought that today we would at least have stayed even - considering today's announcement.
Anyone have any idea why the market might be reacting so negatively to the good news here?
Walter,
Thank you for forwarding all of this to the company. I do hope that management will respond immediately to these allegations. I have enormous faith in the integrity of our management and feel strongly that they are above this kind of manipulation. I know that this may all seem like a tempest in a teapot to those who have more intimate knowledge of the daily workings of the company but these are issues that really need to be addressed for shareholders.
I look forward to seeing their response.
Microchips, I think that you are right in that we will be grateful for Z's connections down the road. And I agree with Inversor's earlier point that Z was not expecting to have a difficult CC. He didn't think that he was giving us any bad news.
Is this recent feedback that they have received from the LSS?
Thank you, Scope, for your post. Did they explain what they mean by the "LSS kind of on hold"? Did they say how long this has been the case? Do you have any idea of what they consider to be "roadblock hurdlers"?
Does anyone know when the audio replay will be available? I was not able to listen earlier, but from the synopsis that DLucky provided, it certainly did not appear to have been very inspiring. I hope that is not the case. I think that we were all expecting to hear good news.
X and Proto, I would just like to say that I, for one, am very appreciative of the comments that you post here regularly. It is a very confusing time for many of us longs - seeing the stock retreat when you expect it to advance, reading strange posts from people whose motives are unclear and waiting for more clarification from management about the progress that they are making with their model. Your steady support is very reassuring - thanks!
This is getting too depressing - we need a cheerleader here! There must be some good news somewhere!
By the way,I did hear the Lightwave advertisement early this afternoon on the Kudlow radio program. It was perfectly fine, it is just a venue that I fear will not generate any real investor interest. I follow a bioteck stock that has advertised on Kudlow as well and they have not had any increase in volume or share price since they started this four or five months ago.
