Fascinating day here today. Someone mentioned earlier today that MMs were in a round robin carrying the ask at <=.72 I watched it closely and it was a tag team effort to keep this stock down. HDSN, then BMAS then NITe and so on kept down ticking in the midst of buying demand. Very counter-intuitive. I jumped in this last week and intend to buy hold next week as well. If nothing else this is a fun show to watch on L2, where u can see the manipulation first hand. There also appears a little more desperation in the bashers as of late. A good sign IMHO:)

Thanks for the link CHris...
Love this GRNO analysis from American Bulls:
"The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any. We erred significantly on the short side last time, but we are sure that you may easily cover your losses (if any) by basing your future trades on our signal system."
yup. the 47 was seconds too late.
The 47 ticked me off...
Couldnt resist, although half (5000) of them showed up as a form T...
Remember 2005 for comparison:
Hustle and Flow purchased at Sundance in 2005 for $9m, by paramount. Won one Oscar (song). It opened on 1013 screens, and grossed $8m its first weekend. $8k per screen
TDGI divide by 5 (200 screens).... $1.6m for 200 screens, would be lites out. From a revenue perspective TDGI only needs a gross of $2.5m to recoup its original investment (assuming they get 40% of gross, can't remember if it was 40% or 20%). At worst case if they go 200 to 400 to 600 and maintain a measly $2k average per screen, they would be at $2.4m by end of August, recouping their original $1m investment. The rest would be gravy. Try this formula using $8k per screen which is what H&F did in '05 and its an eye popping $9.6m by end of August. Just sayin.
Quite astounding. Not just the number of theaters but EP's timing. He held the release just right so 12 opening will not be competing with the likes of Inception, Salt and TS3. The Summer movie sales have been a fizzle and the public is looking for something good to cap off august. While the initial opening was around 200 theaters, that was bumped to 400 and now 600. If this thing catches on, watch out, the stars are aligned, for a non-animated breakout this summer. I agree with earlier post.... Watch the two week story($$), not just opening w/e.
If by chance 12 bombs, I still think the real $$ is in HTYMP...
FYI, "Runaways" is doing well on PPV, which is the next stop for 12 before DVD.
I took out the .0455s, here she goes.
I just took out the .045s
Thank you whoever.
Most helpful.... Thank you for the post.
I'm on board here Gentlemen and have been accumulating on G and C as well. Can afford to buy and hold and play by the rules. Will add more as the week goes on.
Thanks for the tip, a little slow on the DD today. I've been checking into some of Monk's FLDs as well, to be honest. GRNO and PNTV....
Funny buys on the ask.... 555, 444, 333, 222, 111
Took a while to burn thru those 13s. Only 1 left
I bought this stock to make $$, whether it's the BDE, 50 cent or a book. Long term or short term, this stock will make a lot of people on this board some $$, IMHO.
For those whose glass is half full....
Perhaps one of Indies greatest successes was "little Miss Sunshine" in 2006. It was purchased at Sundance, in 2006 by Fox, for $10.5m and 10% of box office. A record at the time.
It won two Oscars and grossed over $100m at the box office. I think every Indie executive strives for this kind of success. We can only hope :)
Hustle and FLow purchased at Sundance in 2005 for $9m, by paramount. Won one Oscar (song). It opened on 1013 screens, and grossed $8m its first weekend, it was made for $3m...
I had a vendor tent at TMS (Texas Motor Speedway) 4 years ago. As an FYI the cost of the tent, at that time, was anywhere from $3,000 to $7,000 depending on location and TMS also received 30% of sales. Any merchandise with NASCAR approved driver logo and image are hot sellers.
TDGI doesn't have to do this, I would think you could work out a distribution deal, if you wanted. If the tent had a Big Screen TV with the trailer playing and some good marketing posters and stands, it might do well. Of course if you went all out and had one of the three drivers help u hawk the product, would do much better. TMS has a second event later this year, I live within 30 miles of it.
Nite is not showing my .57 bid. interesting
The critics and movie-goers are in need of a good movie this summer. Very few good movies are out. I think the timing is good for 12 or HTYMP to do well.
Good article

Also this paragraph shows how lucky we were to get 12 in 500 theaters :)
"Not even the independents have been immune to the malaise. With multiplexes full of big studio offerings, smaller films have struggled to find distribution even as the big boys have faltered. (One exception: "Cyrus," which crept into the box-office top 10 last weekend despite being in just 77 theaters."
Cheapies are getting harder to pick up.
No one is giving me 4's today. Watch these 42s tick off...
Couldn't get the 11s. That's my volume (buying) at 12, got tired of waiting.
Agree, but documentaries make their $ post release. DVD, Cable, Satellite, movie rights etc... I posted here a long time ago, that Racing Dreams would make a great reality series. I still think that holds true:)
Joel Schumacher directed it. He also did Lost Boys.
The producers were Mike Weber, Charlie Corwin and Ted Field.
U R right I just double checked...
I had a limit .0002 order on Thursday as "good til canceled", and it didn't fill Thursday or Friday. I had to move it .0003 where it filled.
Sorry about the mix=up.
Took me 2 days to fill my .0003 order. There are no sellers at 2, and just a few at 3. Problem, for now is that there are no buyers at 4...
The Bugs Admin has been busy lately. Here are some updates from Bugs website, from the commentary section:
"Thanks for being a loyal shareholder. I too have purchased shares up to $1.00 and still hold many of them. As we reactivate the technology and company full time operations more investors should be buying then selling and the stock price should rise. Certainly the Gulf oOil Spill represents an opportunity for BUGS provided we get the capital to launch new operations to help solve the problem.

"We have teamed with pacifric Sands to create some products which could be very helpful to Gulf Oil Spill victims. Stay tuned for more news as we progress.

L2 looking good. Bids are stacking, 3 @ 55
Here is the link from Bill Mccollum on Fox news , go to 2:18. He talks about oil eating bacteria that are Fl EPA approved. So while this is not BUGs, it opens the door.
Narnia,
First off thanks for your DD and persistence on this board. You have single handedly kept BUGS iHub and yahoo alive with your posts. You're a welcome voice in this crazy penny world of bash/pump. Simply put, this is a great trade play on news. We get news, we make money, and methinks, as do you that news is coming. IF it does, this is an easy double, maybe more from here. If it doesn't we hold the bag. One of my trading principles is that history repeats itself. If u look at Bugs as a trade (do your DD here) and not an investment then it's pretty darn near "go" time.
Facts:
Bugs has updated its website twice in the last 2 weeks
http://www.bugsatwork.net/
http://bugsatwork.net/blog/home-page/bioremediation-technology/product-catalog/
Microbe technology will be used in gulf
Upside
Today's update on BUGs website was a clear indicator that management is alive (thank God), responding (phew), and a step away from breakout (need a PR).
Bagholders > .005
We were holding strong >= .0039 without news. Volume is the ally here. Today's update may spur interest and it may not. The good news is that few are selling <.0039
Downside
Microbe technology is becoming competitive
No PR follow up will deteriorate SP
What we can do:
What Narnia does... Create a buzz here and on Yahoo :)
At the end of the day I am here for a good trade. If it pans out as an investment, I will ride it on free shares. Good luck all!!!!
JP.
Bill McCollum Florida AG, just now said on Fox with "On the Record with Greta", that the gulf is awaiting (executive) approval to use oil eating microbes to fight the oil spill. He said two companies had technologies approved, just waiting for B.O(bama) to approve. He did not mention the two companies names I will post the transcript as soon if it becomes available on Great wire.
Microbes will be used, at some point :)
pretty thin back to 65, just needs volume tomorrow.
We don't know, but one would think so...
Quite true. I just got L2 so it's a brave new world :)
what a joke. That last buy at 55, when ask was at 6, was for 3500 shares.
Pretty thin back to 65.
64s are thinning... L2 looks good.
was thinking the same thing...
I emailed Bob the article and asked for his comments :)
Streams of water could later be used in a bid to wash oil from between cane stalks.
In other cases, the company will rely on "bioremediation" — letting oil-eating microbes do the work.
"Nature has a way of helping the situation," said BP spokesman John Curry.
