Oh God. Don't tell me you fell for the GTE story TOO???
You really need to get a financial manager. You have zero instinct for this stuff.
LOLOL!! A good one that I remember from years ago. But then the punchline was "That was Win 3.1"....
lol, I need to go to bed pretty soon, but I'll take a closer look tomorrow. From what I've gathered on other boards, it's a real disaster.
For the life of me I don't understand why a hundred or so of the stucks don't fund a suit. It would only take about $250 each for the retainer, and no more than $1,000 each for the complete suit.
Some people were talking about doing that. But then they didn't, as usual.
LOL!! Is that a bigger short position than GVRP's?
So is someone in Las Vegas holding a large sum of unregistered CMKX stock from before the pump and dump ?
What purpose would that serve? If someone got hold of a number of cert forms early on, the whole idea would have been to use them to sell unregistered stock.
Don't forget that there are a number of entries on the TA's log marked "no record". Presumably those certs were used to sell stock to someone, and presumably some or all of those certs were eventually surrendered.
Jimmy.....Maheu has ADMITTED to being a bagman for Nixon on national television.
Maheu bagman and crook are pretty strong statement to prove.
that kind of money on a mailout probably represents about 400K -500K mailouts.. that includes priting and stamps.
That's one helluva lot of names. MG Marketing is a new company, and thestreetstockreport.com is a new promotional site, so they'd have had to buy mailing lists, too. What do you think that would have cost?
"Silent PRs"??
as if your help was needed in these days of the silent pr's.
What on earth are "silent PRs"?
and for years i have observed that you will not answer forthrightly any real question but instead sidestep, ridicule, try to refocus on petty issues.
"Petty issues"?? You mean like all the lies Urbie told? All the money he took to indulge his hobbies? All the sleazy characters he was involved with? Sorry, bucko, this is the board that did ALL the serious DD on CMKX, until Pedro finally understood, rather late in the game, that the CMKX story was fishy in the extreme and ordered the discovery documents. Now THAT was a real contribution.
Ive been with the ownersgroup since the beginning..I never got
any flyer!!??
lol, it may not be too late. Reportedly, more than a million dollars was spent on the "distribution" of the flyer. It was sent out first class mail, but even so, I shouldn't think the cost was greater than 50 cents a copy. I imagine the total costs would include the purchase of more than one mailing list. How many flyers were sent out? I should think they could have afforded at least a million. That is a LOT of names and addresses.
Where did they come from?
LOL..traded about 30 million dollars yesterday and only up 8 cents...Some Bagholders coming in this one..imo
Yep, and GHLT's been just as volatile today. Looks to me as if someone is selling very heavily into the spikes created by enthusiasm about the flyer.
I don't know anything at all about the company, and can't say that I found the flyer particularly enlightening. I just thought it was an unusual--and apparently very expensive--way of promoting a stock.
What purpose has it served so far? GHLT's been wildly volatile yesterday and today. Is someone selling into the spikes created by the flyer? That's what it looks like to me.
Well......um, whatever. Pearl tends to be....enthusiastic.
GHL Technologies Closes $660,000 Private Placement Round
And then spends $1,070,000 to distribute a glossy flyer, and pays another $25K to The Street Stock Report for promotion?
A quick search on the GHLT ticker suggests that it wasn't only people with some connection to CMKX who got the flyer, though not a great many are talking about it.
The stock's being pumped like crazy, and not just by The Street Stock Report. Lebed's on it too.
Yep. If she gets to do what she says she wants to do, she's gonna have PLENTY of debt.
fwiw, the flyers seem to have been mailed from Witchita, Kansas. No physical address for the mailer is given anywhere on the flyer.
LOL!! Very good!
Sadly, no...
Go back to my earlier posts. Seems likely that MG is owned by Silver State Management.

MG Marketing was incorporated only last November. It has no Web presence whatsoever, which is highly unusual.
Everything about it is strange. It's strange that they wrote the figures out, rather than using numbers.
Here's the relevant part of the disclaimer: TSSR has been compensated twenty five thousand dollars for coverage of GHL Technologies, Inc., by MG Marketing Enterprises, who paid one million and seventy thousand dollars to distribute this mailer.
Yep, I'm sure. It's from the disclaimer on the flyer.
If it's hot and dry where you are, just thread 'em on strings and hang 'em out in the sun. Here it's pretty humid, so if I get serious I may buy myself a dehydrator.
Well....who knows? This is becoming more and more mysterious.
I may even have to take back what I said about Frizzy, though I'm not prepared to do that just yet. Even so, $1,070,000 would pay for one helluva lot of flyers. Even more than there are aliases for RB CMKX longs.
Maybe they had several sources for the names.... I was quite puzzled to find my flyer in my mailbox. Couldn't figure out why I got it, until I saw the posts about them on RB CMKI.
lol, good question. I'm gonna have a LOT. I'll use some fresh--though that won't make much of a dent--make a lot of hot sauce, freeze others, and dry more.
Probably give a lot away, if I can find takers.
Yes, that's one pricey mailout. I've never seen anything quite like it. And even stranger, the promoters are only pumping that ONE stock.
http://www.thestreetstockreport.com
lol, no.... They only arrived--along with all the others--a little less than two weeks ago. And the instructions said to nip off all the blossoms for at least two weeks to promote good root growth.
That's been painful, even though I know they won't be producing any fruit till July. And in the case of the habanero types, August.
Has to be the Owner's Group list. Obviously they didn't get any info from me in connection with the cert pull.
There ya go. That's why you didn't get one.
There is the possibility that a lot of unregistered stock could be floating around Las Vegas.
I wouldn't be at all surprised. And I do think the timing of the suit against Hasher and others is interesting. That said, these people would do better to keep their heads down, in my view.
Did you sign up for the Owner's Group alerts?
It isn't quite that. He wasn't using the shareholders' list; he was using the Owner's Group list. I remember he did promise the shareholders that he wouldn't give out their data. Maybe he didn't make that promise to the people who signed up for the OG alerts.
Still, I think it's pretty scuzzy.
lol, the RB CMKXers are one thing; I'm another. I can think of NO way I'd have got that flyer, as CMKXers were also getting it, if Frizzy weren't the connection.
I haven't signed up for ANY other stock alerts. And I did give Frizzy's OG my real address.
lol, no little peters yet, but I very much look forward to their, um, growth. Just hope they make it through this cold spell. Should be plenty warm by the end of the week.
Actually I HATE hot weather, but don't want my peppas to be unhappy.
Now let's consider why Frizzy (or someone connected to the Owner's Group) sold that mailing list to MG Marketing.
A very, very stupid move, I believe.
Um, stockhound? Do you usually have this much trouble understanding when someone's pulling your tail?
Only in their fevered imaginations.
lol, somehow I don't think there'll be any party unless they see some money....
4) Who thinks they might be able to attend a shareholder party in Vegas during Labor Day weekend?
Oh for God's sake.
