The EGR system reroutes a portion of the exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber, in order to burn some of the leftover combustibles. This needs to capture the gas before it gets to the catalytic converter, which in turn is before the muffler. This again is likely part of the solution to the engine fire problem, and doesn't appear to have anything to do with the muffler.

Yes, and I saw that Hyundai has had problems with engine fires. My guess is that the low backpressure is part of the solution. But way beyond that, auto manufacturers are always looking for ways to increase fuel efficiency, which these mufflers do by up to 14%. That's HUGE!

My understanding is that Ngen is contracting Samsung to build displays utilizing Ngen's patented 3D technology, which they presumably already have a contract with another company to sell them to. My guess would be Hyundai. Look again at the materials for their 3D display. See that they have a screen where the passenger and driver see different images? These displays are going in automobiles.
