FAT FINGERS at Procter & Gamble caused the sell-off. Oops!
Someone pushed the wrong button while trading stock.
The Dow and Naz are both down 4%. Maybe the oil spill is affecting the market. Or, maybe the Greece financial woes are poisoning the world markets.
Another bone from IDCC.........
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=idcc
I found out real quick my stomach wasn't strong enough to be a short.
I hear ya, Mickey. Years ago I was told that shorting can be a dangerous game. When betting long a stock.....it can only go to zero. When betting short a stock......well.....let's just say the sky is the limit.
Btw, the increase in S/P is closer to a buck than a penny
For those that are not paying attention............
IDCC is up about a BUCKEROO.
There must be a settlement news leak....
Please elaborate!
IDCC is up about 6 bits........what gives???
In fact its time for the street to wise up and let the shorts do the worrying as IDCC is not worried nor should the shareholders since we know we have a winner. Let those who think that IDCC is a do nothing company get crucified on nothing but pure fundamentals.
Mickey, you forgot to mention that IDCC is a SCREAMING BUY.
By all means............please let us know when another one comes along.
DNDN is up another $4.........$14 total for last 24 hours. Wish I had listened when this stock was first mentioned here on this forum. Woulda, coulda, shoulda..........didn't.
Link to IDCC CC transcript on seeking Alpha.
Sheesh, once was enough!
DNDN: Congrats to those of you that own shares.
Up 15% in the last 5 minutes!
I am more convinced than ever we will soon be selling 1x cash on hand because IDCC gets no respect until they sign Nokia
And.........your reason for investing in IDCC is...........?
Just a joke is all that is.
I concur 100%!
Thankee!
Anyone have the number for IDCC's conference call? And what time? Thanks!
Hmmm, almost half a million shares of IDCC have traded in the first hour. What's up with that?
GOIG.........A little exposure never hurts:

Oops, meant to say GOIG up 102 % at $0.026.
FYI:
GOIG is up NINETY % during the first 2 hours.
GOIG=yoyo stock, lol.
I sure do wish investors would make up their mind and either hold or sell GOIG. This up & down stuff makes me dizzy..........
Re: GOIG
Sheesh, GOIG closed at $0.0128 today. What happens if this stock goes below a penny? Ouch!
Yep, I kinda gathered the same as you. Thanks!
I have yet to buy into the crazy but still watching for all the wheels to come off the last spike and that would be my entry point.
Thanks for posting a link to the GOIG board, Gatticaa. After reading some of the posts, it appears that GOIG is being over-run by bashers. However, there are many (according to posters) that are all in with GOIG. I'm very happy that I only bought 60,000 shares...........now for the waiting game.
Miller, I seldom buy pink sheet stocks, but made an exception with GOIG. My investment is minimum so I won't get to upset if they go south. Btw, I also go to casinos a couple times a year for entertainment.........so I guess you can look at GOIG as entertainment too, lol.
I just hope the price doesn't affect your opinion of the long range potential. If its a hero you will be very happy, of course if its a zero its my fault.
Mickey, like I already said. We are all big boys and we take our own risks. If any of us could see the future of a stock..........well, let's just say we wouldn't be posting on message boards, lol.
Mickey........do not fret. If GOIG turns out to be a zero, we are all adults and are responsible for any stocks we invest in. No blame will be directed at you, however I will thank you if it turns into a hero.
After reading their PR's I was somewhat impressed by some of the BIG names mentioned. As I said, I'll give GOIG a chance and see what happens.
No doubt about it. I think the buy-on-rumor-sell-on-news philosophy holds true here. My investment in GOIG is minimal so I'll hold on for a little while to see what materializes.
Re: GOIG..............
It looks like a few of us have been dooped by GOIG. Maybe the launch hasn't sunk in yet. I'm hoping so!
Mickey, here is the link from Yahoo.

Well, you got in a lot cheaper than I did. I first tried buying online when it was still under a nickel, but TD Ameritrade wouldn't allow the trade unless I called it in. Buy the time I got through on the phone, the stock went up to $.054. Finally filled my order for 60,000 at $.0547 Oh well, let's see what happens after the 15th.
Thanks for the update, Sons. Btw, do you subscribe to Pacer? And will you keep us informed of any news? Thanks again!
Still a long way to go, but doable. The point is that an IDCC win at the appeals court
would put Nokia back in jeopardy, and I don't mean Alex Trebec.
Good point! I should have said Nokia would be at risk of cease & desist if they lose the appeal. Thanks for the correction.
Again, if you were the CEO of Nokia, and had won the decision, I bet you wouldn't give IDCC the time of day until they actually got a favorable ruling.
I could be wrong, but I recall someone mentioning "cease & desist" for Nokia if they lose the appeal.
Hmmm, your reply makes some of us wonder why you are invested in IDCC.
Thanks for a honest reply. I'm still holding out for settlement. As we all know, many other licenses are hinged on Nokia signing a contract.
Just curious if there will be any IDCC vs NOK PR's regarding the filings that are due today. Anybody have any thoughts?
Hey, let's tone it down a bit. Maybe you guys could take it outside to finish your discussion. This board is still on probation (so-to-speak) and Mickey doesn't need these food fights here.
Mickey, it seems that Ms. Point is paid extremely well........especially when you look at the fact that she very seldom returns emails and/or phone calls from share holders. Isn't her job title Investor Relations?
Good on ya, Sons. While you're at it maybe you could apply a size 12 to their arse.
