What I'm about to say may not be what you want to hear....IMO many of us have been in IDCC for many, many years hoping for the BIG pay day. Well, again IMO, it seems like Bill Merritt and the boys are content receiving their (large) salary along with decent bonus packages. I wish their pay was strictly performance based and only paid in shares of IDCC. I'm sure I'll get flamed but so be it. JMO

Sons, I'm not sure why there is more than average interest in our flea...along with a nice bump in price, but I learned long ago that nothing makes sense with IDCC's trading patterns. Near as I can tell options play a significant part. JMO

I wish they'd tell us what this "something" is. Inquiring minds wanna know.

That's the part that really bothers me. Our world class license team accomplishes NOTHING and gets paid VERY well for doing NOTHING. Their salary + bonuses equals way more than the average shareholder makes on their investment. JMO

Bob, IMO that's what's wrong with having a cash rich, small company.....a select few fingers always reaching in the cookie jar. Even worst, us small shareholders can't do anything but sell our shares.

That's the part that pizzes me off. They dropped projections from $800m to $600m but did drop bonuses? Me thinks not. JMO

pochemunyet: If a stock is acting strong it will often recover a relatively small ex-dividend amount in a day or two. I am sure anyone who intended selling, but held on just to receive the $0.20 dividend, wishes they had sold yesterday at the $1.50+ higher price.

Mickey, you and I have had differences lately, but I want you to know That I'll pray for you and wish you the best luck. My brother-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma about 7 months ago. Today he is cancer free. The medical field has improved by leaps and bounds in recent years.

I hear ya....I bought in early part of 1999...mainly because Mickey's rant of SCREAMING BUY. I sometimes wish I'd never read this message board. JMO
