I thought I had all I wanted. But with those study results coming out in 5 or 6 weeks, I decided that I wanted a little more. I put in a stink bid for some more GALTW. We'll soon see...
We only had 4 Institutional Investors as of 9/30. As of 12/31, we now have 28. We added 24 new Institutional Investors in the 4th quarter. And one of our original 4 added over 900,000 shares in the 4th quarter.
I will continue to ignore the FUD because I think the cides will prevail. Now bring on those tox studies...

There were only 3 institutional investors as of 10/31 and 2 of those increased their position by 12/31. Those 3 only held about 90,000 shares on 10/31. As of 12/31 there are 23 NEW institutions holding shares totaling an additional ~563,000 shares. That is a significant increase. Apparently word is getting out about NNVC's potential.
New blogpost. Good stuff...

As of 12/31, Institutional ownership is up about 60% from 9/30. The total now is ~8% of the outstanding shares. There is reason to believe that trend is continuing as we approach the middle of the first quarter.
That trend should continue to put upward pressure on the stock price as we approach the release of Phase 1 results. Of course that is JMHO...
ISCO'S OUTSTANDING TECHNOLOGY WILL BE LIFE CHANGING!
@ Liefsmith - LOL! I got the message and know the feeling...
ISCO'S OUTSTANDING TECHNOLOGY WILL RESULT IN A HUGE MARKET CAP.
They are not the same. A "split" increases the number of outstanding shares. This is usually done to bring the price per share down to make the stock more attractive to the average investor. A "reverse split" decreases the number of outstanding shares and is often done to bring the price per share up to meet exchange listing requirements.
Neither of these things technically impacts the total value (or market cap) of the company. They just change the number of shares that the company's value is divided between.

@ DD - Please provide details on the GALTU shares/units. TIA
From what I saw, they are looking for a cause of action to sue the company. I am interested in becoming a client if they want to start a class action lawsuit against Seeking Alpha and that "anonymous" fiction writer. But if they are planning to sue my company, they can kiss my...

Others items of note in the ICPT to GALT comparison:
1) The GALT study we are waiting on is technically a Phase 1 while the results that fueled the recent explosion for ICPT were from a Phase 2, however...
2) Due to the patient criteria and "secondary" outcomes that are being tested in that Phase 1, GALT should have as good (or better) efficacy data from that Phase 1 than ICPT got from their Phase 2. (The caveat being that GALT's Phase 1 has a much smaller number of patients being tested.)
3) The ICPT drug has to be taken every day, possibly forever. (The patients in their Phase 2 took the drug for 72 weeks.)
4) It is not clear (at least to me) whether the improvements seen in the ICPT Phase 2 will actually result in a reversal of the fibrosis. It may be that it just slows, but does not stop, disease progression.
5) If GALT's drug actually reverses fibrosis in humans as it did in animals, why would there ever be a need for ICPT's drug?
If GALT's drug works, we should see that $7.5 billion market cap in short order. However that would just be the beginning because the value proposition of a drug that reverses fibrosis is MUCH more than $7.5 billion... IMHO.
