Ditto, ditto, ditto....
great read...thanks.
I would have to agree...
.058 blocks thru the ask and 1.6mm in first hour and fifteen minutes.
.054 now...mmxt following close behind.
Morning Activity....VERY GOOD!
Question re: EMI
Why did they go with Macrovision over SCMI/MMXT?
tia.
TBB
Out of the shoot at .05!!
"talk" later....tbb
Mario....Merger question
scmi has more outstanding shares than mmxt does. How exactly does this impact shareholders of both stocks. If scmi has 450mm outstanding shares and mmxt has fewer outstanding shares, how will it all work out at the end of the day?
thanks.
tbb
Holly smokes we're above .04 at .041...
Now I realize they have dental bills, groceries, etc. but if Peter and co. would put their money where their mounth is and start buying shares at current levels...I think it would go a very very long ways for shareholder confidence. JMHO FWIW.
three
my fingers are crossed.
What's so comical about this stock is one would think .10 is too low but I feel like it's almost too optomistic....and i'm a LONG!! LOL!!!
We'll all have to get together if we ever reach the $1 mark, heck the 30 cent mark would be monumental!
take care,
tbb
Agreed....i'd like to see our 1:1++ merger go thru at a minimum of both stocks trading for .07-.08. Am I dreaming....LOL
The stars might finally be aligning in our direction...MVSN down SCMI up....
Alphatrade....is anyone else having trouble?
thx.
ric...having a bit of fun my friend....LOL
You take care and enjoy the rest of your night!
tbb
Cleburn...I have a friend I used to work with who grew up in Cleburn and whose family still lives there...last name is Burnett. My husband grew up in Garland, but we've only lived here in Dallas (having moved from Houston)for 3 years. Rockwall...nice little town. It's amazing how different all the major cities of Texas actually are. Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio are all so vastly different but all great cities to be a part of.
Do you visit Texas much?
Texas....and NO we're NOT Morons! LOL
Sting...Hey!
20mm by end of Q2, additional 35-40mm in Q3...that leaves 85-90mm for Q4. Not being an expert on whether that is at all realistic...is it? When I speak to the company directly, I honestly don't get the feeling that they fully believe 145mm, w/o CSN, is easily attainable. I could be wrong though...just my gutt.
My opinion is if and only if the merger goes thru and the application for a major exchange is filed within 2005 and we either hit or come darn close to hitting the 145mm CD's for '05 will be see pps start to rise.
Hope it all materializes. I'm ashamed to say...my portfolio depends on the success of this company and it's shareholders.
take care all and good night.
TBB
2 Questions....
Of said 145 CD goal, i'm sure sales has broken the annual goal down in to quarterly performance goal levels...any idea how we fare in that regard? Say Q1 = 5mm, Q2 = 25mm, Q350mm and Q4 remaining...What percentage of quarterly goal has the company achieved. This information would give us a better understanding in how to evaluate year to date performance.
Second...Sting and sahd, what is your time horizon before you feel like Steh and cgi? FRUSTRATED! Just curious.
thanks.
cgi...
"thought we engaged in dialogue here in regards to our investment? It is neither a bash or a pump, just trying to do some DD, share some DD and look after MY investment."
Personally, THANK YOU.
take care,
tbb
Neil...Very very enlightening.
I'm completely embarrassed to say that the possibility of mmxt not merging shares with scmi and the possibility that the company would simply buy the technology and transfer the people never occurred to me.
How exposed are the scmi shares holders versus mmxt holders? Is either company''s shareholder ultimately in a better position than the other?
Now if this did happen, I think they have a lot of shareholders literally go "postal" on PJ and company.
Thanks for you reply I much appreciate it.
TBB
cgi...call Peter, Mario, Eric, Kevin or whomever and make them explain themselves and the situation. My understanding is that it was not as an important component to the record label to stave off the casual copier as the feature is made out to be. Does that mean Sunncomm shouldn't have to provide further explanation especially since in the last cc they said it was fixed. Regardless, it doesn't help any of us if we don't follow up and square away when we feel the company made a misrepresentation. Follow up on it....again and again until you feel your questions and concerns have been clarified.
The best to you.
TBB
Response from company was this DRM conference is primarily suited toward data rather than music and film which would hold more of an interest for sunncomm. They are watching their funds and do not feel the return on investment warrants this particular conference. Notice BMG/SONY nor Apple are attending either.
take care all.
Interesting they'd NOT be attending. I don't see Apple or Sony/BMG either.
Calling around to find out...
Not sure...thought someone on the board could confirm or deny.
thanks.
DRM Conference
The Jupiter DRM Strategies conference has finalized its program of speakers for July 27-28 at the Puck Building in SoHo, New York City.
Is sunncomm attending...if not....WHY????
steh.....At the end of the day though aren't you glad your still holding your shares and not missing out on the excitement?!? LOL
Take care all.
TBB
Latest on merger or manybe not...audit should be completed by Aug. 15th and then the S4 will be filed which will take 30-90 days. I'm sure all I enlightened way myself.
take care,
TBB
MMXT vol. is over 4x 10d average....hmmmmm
pardon a seemingly dumb question, I know the 90mm shares were authorized but I didn't think they'd been distributed in to the marketplace.
A few thoughts....
Being a very frustrated investor...can we all say...."Way to go ric"!....anyhow, I'm trying to decifer from an optimistic's view "why" in the world this stock is doing so poorly. The only thing I keep going back to is something that Mario eluded to when mmxt was trading 4-5cents higher. There was insinuation not to worry about the price difference and 1:1 merge, there would be a convergence of pps of the two companies. Could the company actually put measures in place to have these two companies pps trade realatively the same and at a low pps for reasons of ensuring that the merge does go thru. If so, why manipulate to the low side and not to the high side.
If it's "naked shorting" I just simply don't get it...WAY OVER my brain capacity!LOL
There must be an explanation to all this...THERE HAS TO BE!
take care all.
TBB
Hey ric....enjoy!
All is well...just kaotic. We'll have to talk off line...been a CRAZY summer.
TBB
Seriously ODD...not a single share traded for final 3 hours of trading day. I've never seen a trade day like this for SCMI. Are we all CERTAIN that nothing is up and we're not halted or anything?
TIA
There have been ZERO shares traded the last 2 hours. What's up...?
What's with the 500 shares at .033. Geesh....
When is our next cc with and quarterly numbers with sunncomm? Any new information re: merger advancements?
TIA.
Year end projections question.
What "if" scmi misses the 145mm projection by a few and comes in at 125mm and that it wasn't intentional but just a over projected miss. How would most of the board feel over a 14% miss. Would you anticipate the stock to decline further or would the nearly accomplished projected year give credence that the company is on the right track and may need to adjust some of it's internals, etc.
Just curious.

News PR Out!
SunnComm's MediaMax Maintains Technical Superiority and U.S. Market Leadership in Audio CD Copy Protection
Wednesday July 13, 1:05 pm ET
With Almost 20 Million MediaMax'd CDs in North America, SunnComm Has Helped Copy Protect and Enhance Some of the World's Best Selling Albums
PHOENIX, July 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- SunnComm International, Inc. (Other OTC:SCMI.PK - News) is pleased to announce that 2005 is the year that its flagship copy protection and enhancement technology -- MediaMax -- became ``the technology of choice'' for dozens of music labels throughout North America. SunnComm believes it has maintained this uncontested market dominance by paying vigilant attention to the needs of the record labels and the end users who purchase music.
By working very closely with several of the largest record labels in the world, SunnComm has unquestionably found a balance between protecting the rights of the music producers, artists and record labels while providing the CD buyers with an expanded multimedia experience. More than 30 record labels have approved MediaMax for use on commercial and pre-release CDs and it has been ``battle tested'' by millions and millions of CD buyers.
``MediaMax has proven itself to be superior on every level. I think it's important for record labels, CD manufacturers, music studios and artists to realize just how substantial those differences really are,'' declared Peter Jacobs, president of SunnComm. ``When CD copy protection technologies are talked about in the press and even within our own industry, they are all seen as similar technologies. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth.'' Here are just of few of MediaMax's unique and outstanding features that make it the best choice for record labels, artists and consumers worldwide:
Apple/Mac Compatibility -- MediaMax has been Apple/Mac compatible since 2003. SunnComm CDs can be played and protected on Macintosh computers with the same look and feel as the Windows-based interface. SunnComm has always believed that Apple/Mac users represent a significant portion of music listeners, so creating a technology that wasn't compatible with this operating system was unthinkable.
All software required to listen, copy and share your music is contained on the CD. MediaMax does not require any additional software or system reboots to enjoy the music CD or access additional enhanced content on a computer. All features and capabilities found on a MediaMax CD operate in an integrated, seamless self-contained environment including the ability to copy an entire CD as well as individual music tracks. Other copy protection technologies rely on outside support software like (Java, Flash, ASPI drivers, Directx9, etc). SunnComm realized years ago that stopping an installation before it's completed in order to install third party support software was incredibly annoying to the consumer. Without the need for additional support software, consumers have no need to re-boot their computers, greatly reducing user interaction while avoiding the introduction of additional potential points of installation failure. We believe that our ``self-contained'' technology has greatly contributed to MediaMax's enormous acceptance by consumers around the world.
Track Level Copy Protection -- Unlike all other CD copy protection technologies, MediaMax protection operates on a track-by-track basis. This proprietary and unique feature enables consumers to copy and combine MediaMax protected CD music with other unprotected music in their libraries -- all on the same CD. In the future, companies who offer music for purchase on the Internet and through music kiosks will be required to protect certain record labels' tracks when a compilation CD is burned. Competitive technologies protecting an entire CD will not be effective in this market.
One protection solution for ALL purchased music. Record companies are searching for a ``unified'' technology capable of protecting audio CDs as well as music purchased over the Internet and through kiosks. MediaMax provides this innovative and unique solution today.
Perfect Placement - MediaMax presents the record labels and music producers with unparalleled targeted marketing opportunities through a feature called Perfect Placement. This unique feature centrally serves up dynamic promotional content controlled by the record label to reserved spaces located throughout the MediaMax interface while a user is enjoying their CD on the computer. Imagine an artist's album is coming out and the record company has the ability to announce this event to all those playing the artist's previously released album in their computer.
SunnComm and MediaMax Technology Corp. (OTC BB:MMXT.OB - News) have worked tirelessly to deliver a mechanism where the rampant ``casual'' theft of copyrighted music and video can be controlled without alienating the CD buyers. MediaMax has been proven to drastically reduce casual copying while delivering a robust set of consumer-pleasing features. No alternative protection technology existing today has been proven in almost 20 million homes in North America alone.
