rick85284: Isn't Steve still President? eom
twbrokewaterhouse...Wessal has to be buying now imo. Why would they wait until the price runs up?
jimmym4...i'm guessing big money is behind each of the business entities involved in the UAE, including what i think is Saudi money behind Vista. imo
jimmym4...once they get the ball rolling, this could be an amazing ride. they seem to have the nack of turning profits. bottom-line numbers are usually attractive acquisition targets. someone with some imagination is already sturring the pot. what kind of brew are they making? i can't wait to see. eom
Dan must be working on a .0001 margin X a few billion and he seems to be ok with that. Then there are the restricted shares which might be part of the O/S common shares or they might be counted separately. Ugh! It's Germany all over again after the war...and we all have our wheelbarrows full of worthless shares. Wallpaper anyone? imho
I believe Texas law permits the landowner to pump water from the aquifer w/o additional permits, etc.
T-Boone Pickins has land over the same aquifer and has been soliciting the sale of umpteen acre feet/year of the same water as RSPG. That seems to come to memory as per a recent TV story about Pickins' water. eom
JJSeabrook: Good post. Thanks for the timeline. eom
jantinna...why down? do your own DD and you'll know. eom
gwikley...RE: Saudi Connections. I beleive Saudi's are the principals behind Vista. eom
jimmym4: good post. imo, we are watching a GREAT business plan being rolled-out. Sulja saw something in it for them beyond the odd/occasional Middle East project through Red Sea. Who approached whom to create this opportunity could be the subject of a book someday. We may be seeing a convergence win-win situation between a Canadian firm with a U.S. and a Middle Eastern conglomerate. The perfect financial storm.
tmob12000, good post. tks. eom
ohiobuckkeye...right on! stop calling SLJB corp. offices. stop calling Consultech. Stop calling Loftworks. Many of the investors on this board get it. This is one part of their portfolio and not the center of their universes. The have other things to do during the day than to badger SLJB mgmt. for information they legally cannot yet divulge.
See, SLJB is getting freeked out by incessant badgering, i.e. phone calls, insulting accusations, etc. I knew their next move had to be to distance themselves from the nitwits in order to clear their heads and gain the time back they need to continue with the development of their business. It had to happen and is a plus for shareholders not a negative. imho
sandbath...your post 60560. "protect" Loftworks had a JV with Consultech...see posts 60557/60549. somewhere in that mix, Sulja with Consultech did a reverse takeover w/LOFT to "protect" that joint venture. i hope i'm not tested on this. the facts as we can learn them is somewhere in these details. now it's time for me to re-read the posts listed above.
partysasquatch...excellent info. tks. eom
rrufff...you da man. tks for the info. eom
rrufff...any idea why Nevada? tax advantage/haven? new corporate entity standing up? midwest shell of Consultech there? thanks for the prior reply.
kaddy27, RE: your 59837 post..was it Loftworks or Sulja Bros. that obtained the lumber contract with Liberia? If it was Loftworks then I could understand the "protect our joint ventures" statement through the acquisition of a supply of lumber. If the contract was made with Liberia after the merger with Loftworks then I have no idea what the "protect..." could be.
asus...your post 59806...any speculation as to this asset transfer to NV? i can't imagine a requirement or reason or method of transferring assets. what assets? assets are found where they are and can be listed that way in corp. documents/financials. i don't get it.
CorvetteMark: IMO this board may have caused SLJB to pull back a bit on unofficial communications/chats/phone conversations. It seems a number of freeky folks have been twitching around on this board. They have wierded me out and may have burned SLJB and its team out as well. At this point, I'm ok with waiting for audited financials in mid-Sept. What is new is that public statements should be filtered through the PR/IR firm now and that is a good thing. I am tempted to go from 75K shares to 100K if the price pulls back to the mid-.05's; otherwise, I'm holding. I see this now as a Vista play for whatever they have in mind. The future prospects couldn't be more interesting/exciting. Tom
post 60113 smartinvestor: by buying 25% of Sulja, Wessal is buying into a VISTA company. maybe that is the point. jmo
shorts smorts. why the fixation on shorts? eom
nitpicking will only make you crazy. relax. give it time or take up dodging in and out of traffic (on foot) if you need a faster and more predictable outcome. eom
couldn't care less about shorters. holding long since LFWK. guessing there is a lot less shorting going on than is being talked about. yada yada. short talk and fileings and what mgmt might not be doing is a waste of time. get in or get out but your poss. attempts to manipulate attitudes doesn't impress this one. oem
Kapone: I've wondered the same thing. Possibly Consultech is based in Nevada or another business entity in the chain. I can't imagine any hard asset they would physically place in Nevada. ???
bizzyboy2: as i read it, the parent of Sulja is Consultech and the parent of Consul...is Vista, a Dubai company. When Sulja merged with Consultech, direction of the company must have started coming from Dubai. imo
greenspirit: great idea. are you going to pass it along to the webmaster? you should.
branchrima: no negative developments this week. in fact there were one or more very strong public relations releases...one from the pres. of Wessal. this could be the best growth stock situation i have ever found.
equityofficer: i have been reading your posts. good stuff. i spent a lot of time in Stuttgart but still use Babel Fish for my translations.
banchrima: there is much good work here. many, many fine contributions. just ignor the bashers. glad you are here.
the parent of Consultech is Vista and Vista is a Dubai company as i understand it. what we are seeing is a fine-tuneing of a middle eastern plan and if it holds together, i can hear the ka ching all the way from the UAE to DFW.
bikerider99: who owns Wessel really, is a good question. i am guessing that is where the situation gets really interesting. at this point i believe Wessel is a "private" company. Musselmani (spelling) as president is the front man. i'll bet one or more heavy hitters from the ruling/managing class have their money in Wessel. just a guess.
Powr2dpeepl: it appears Consultech, parent of SLJB, may see Sulja as the "overseas" branch of the business. that'll work for us longs. that is how SLJB could be pumped full of assets in a very short time. imo
FYI: link to what is U.A.E. and how Dubai fits into the picture: http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/5444.htm
airdale1...your 56205 post is great reading. good thinking. well done and a fine contribution to this board. thank you.
oilbaron...good point. just speaking figuratively. it's all very good anyway IMO. holding long and strong since LFWK at .024
55976 cdxx: my guess is that they will set up "home depot(s)" in Dubai/UAE and then satellite yards nearer to other centers of development, wherever. the aggregate business could be large indeed. the home depot centers could be the receiving yards for all shipments to the region(s) that are not shipped directly to the work sites. eom
I tried posting in Arabic...didn't come out too well. eom
Home Depot in Arabic...go SLJB! مستودع بيتي
