Insider shares are listed at 40mil giving us an Estimated Float of 127.5million. This includes shares held by ConEd,Earthlink and many long-term holders and insiders.(strong hands)
Shareholders will vote on raising the OS to 500mil on May 3. The 10k has some good info as to where we are in the developing this technology.
TKO uses an "in-house" Homeplug system to "light up" individual dwellings. They are focussed on the MDU market.("multi-dwelling units")A hotel/office can offer broadband to every room without any major changes to their wiring and share in the rev$. Very attractive for older buildings. They have had some excellent exposure since being listed on the AMEX. The contract with Trump put them in motion. Their technology is similar to a baby monitor and not unlike a homeplug system available at Radio Shack.
Ambient's technology allows utilities to monitor the demand and supply to their grid. ("grid management") The ability to provide broadband services is an added benefit to grid management applications. Ambient's technology is also well suited to MDU applications as demonstrated in our trial with Con Ed at Princeton House in NYC.
I wouldn't say we are the front runner as there are some privately held companies with solid funding also in the mix.
Motorola, Mitsubishi and others are also developing bpl sysytems. We are the only publicly held "pure-BPL/PLC" company. We are in trials/pilots with 3 of the biggest utes in the country.(ConED,SDG&E and Duke) I'd say we are well positioned to be the front runner- with any one of these contracts, solid financing, exchange listing and market exposure.
all in my opinion

Have a great weekend.
Serf,
Yes, the AARL have been Defenders of the Holy Spectrum for a number of years.Besides licensing hams (and you know that doesn't require a huge staff), that is their sole purpose in life, BPL was a gift from the heavens for them. They can now map out rf matrices and drive around in their AMC Gremlins playing Spectrum Police giving them a much needed sense of purpose and belonging in the world. Their mom's are happy to have them out of the basement. Radio Shack reported a 5% increase in sales.
Most hams don't even belong to the stupid AARL and many are leaving because they realize they are supporting a group that is destroying Amateur Radio NOT preserving it.
The point is, these freaks could record rf interference from a 7-11 if they wanted too. I had a friend who lived near a hamster and he could hear this guy talking on his tv set when it wasn't even on. They are the ones poluting the "spectrum" with their amped up Frankenstein stations.
The FCC has ceased to take them seriously, imo.
PLUS, if the new DS2 chipset is as good as they say, it is a non-issue. DS2 sat down with the AARL and proved it worked. They will still park their junk outside every deployment and scream interference, it is coming from the alternater on the Gremlin. imo
Serf, No details here
http://www.uplc.utc.org/page/63252/
but they do say it's located in Charlotte, NC
Charlotte...now why does that ring a bell?
Oh yeah, we are having our SHM in Charlotte, the location of our latest pilot with Duke Energy, also headquartered in Charlotte. Hmmmm. Nah, probably just a coincidence.
Time will tell.
Serf, DYODD.You're asking the Kool-aid drinker!
LOL
That being said, I think this is an excellent entry point for a swing or long hold.(actually your call of .10 was right on but I doubt we will see that again, imo)
Short term:- we are expecting 1q rev$ to be in excess of 750k(trials/non-sustained), that alone should drive the price to the .25+ area (breaking previous flipping resistance at .24)
- Shareholders are expected to vote to increase the AS from 300 to 500mil.Didn't last year because (Con)ED abstained, I think they are behind it this year. I believe they hired a pr firm to lobby us in support.
-We are currently burning a $1.5mil PIPE loan from an insider that matures in June, attatched to that are the patents and the printing press. IMO, worst case- the pipe turns into a private placement. best case- Duke wants 100mm shares and they're about sign a contract to roll out Ambient gear and are willing to help finance the production.(driving their investment up)
-Things that make me go hmmm: We are having our Annual Meeting in Charlotte,NC (Home of Duke Power) They have always had the meeting in Beantown before because the vast majority of shareholders are from NY or Mass. (There's some inside Jewish thing, hardcore believers in the inventor of our tech, master Yehuda Cern.) There's a lot of chutzpah in the room.lol
To bring us down to Charlotte, while running a trial with Duke would indicate (to me IMO) they are more than confident that they will be with Duke for the long run.
-Ambient has been pretty shareholder friendly for a developing tech on the OTC.(that says little, I know) Financing through dilution, one way or another. They've made a couple of inside private placements that have kept a cap on the pps. Insiders got fat. SOS We have some heavy hitters on the BOD and advisory board.
-They don't put out fluff pr's- I really like that. We have suffered with no news but when it hits, it is a real development.
-Duke is testing with other gear too. People have made alot about the fact that they haven't mentioned Ambient and Ambient wasn't allowed to PR with Duke's name (Southern investor owned utility) But the same thing happened with ED and SDG&E (both in pilots w/ambient) They don't pump their equiptment vendors if they don't have to. Who would think that Con Edison and Earthlink are shareholders of an OTC penny stock?
- Hamsters (AARL) were reporting interference from Ambient's equiptment to the FCC BEFORE IT WAS EVEN TURNED ON.(that was the day they became irrelevant) They are FOS and the FCC knows it. If we had any money we would be suing to shut down the AARL and their anti-BPL campaign. It is the dying gasp of an antique hobby club with a dwindling membership. They are a regulatory obstacle trying to save the buggy whip.
I know this is more than you asked for but the devil is truly in the details.
If you go by the chart, a little confirmation of crossing the 10dma and that Aroon heads north and this thing is a screaming buy. That's not to say it might not dry up and stall due to all this market uncertainty. That's why we are at .18 instead of .24 IMO
MM's love this stock, they know there are short termers willing to dump and reload at lower prices (last week) and nervous shareholders freaked out by the risk of .10 or worse.
Until we have a contract that produces sustainable rev$, we are at the mercy of the mm's and insiders. The next 10q could be out anytime as the 10k was put out ahead of schedule to facilitate an earlier meeting to raise the AS to finance the pipe conversion to get the press back to print more shares to keep the lights on.
This has been a reading from the Book of Polka.
Go in peace.
Annual Meeting :
We are pleased to invite you to attend Ambient's 2006 Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. (EST) at The Hyatt Charlotte at Southpark, 5501 Carnegie Boulevard, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

serf, I'm sure somebody made a buck swapping a .20 position for a .15 position. Not me though, I would of gotten burned for sure. It was pretty easy to see it coming, though. The mm's love the market uncertainty here. I expect a nice pop when earnings are released, as we have some fresh rev$.
The BPL arena continues to heat up and ABTG seems well positioned (but poorly financed) I expect big developments in the next couple of months. (expanded Duke trial, new software Beta, etc)
I also expect an increase to the AS (300->500mm, I believe) If they go private placement with them, we are doomed to the .15->.20 level for another year. If Duke wants to buy in on the deal (as ConEd did) then we are headed back to .30->.40
If Duke (or ED or SDG&E) announce a rollout with the abtg gear they are currently testing, this thing goes to $1 and never returns (he says with $ in his eyes)

Joe, IMO
If the recent volume is short selling,
it is naked and won't ever be covered.
If management wanted to address this they could pull the Frankfurt listing (not apply for it)
OR
They could issue a stock divy that would require change in the cusip # and the ticker (thus eliminating any naked short)
Where did you get those numbers?(OS,etc) Just curious, I haven't gotten that far.
Joe,
I wouldn't begin to predict the pps here. If I held a position in this stock, which I currently do not, I would be alarmed at the recent volume. Has the float been dramatically expanded? It sure looks like dilution.
What were those undisclosed terms in yesterdays pr?

CBAY (.24) This one has taken a beating in the past few days.
Today, after the bell, they announced a cash divy (.01) and they also hired a new accountant (I'm sure he was thrilled to hear they are giving away money they don't have)
The float is rumored to be 72,000(!) but I suspect it is closer to 1Mil by now(possibly more). As of December the O/S was 2 Mil.
Huge dumpage (into news) the past couple of days would indicate a growing float.
Hmmm, let's see, they are behind on their filings,
incorporated in Nevada,
just listed on the Frankfurt exchange (but the CEO says this is a good thing)
and they've been promoting themselves on several less than reputable pimp and pump sites-
I'm not sure but I think they have a huge short. Just a hunch. Watching closely.

RKD, I haven't accused you of anything.
I just asked why Serf's posts keep getting pulled here? On what grounds?
I am assuming that you pulled them, please correct me if I am wrong.

Which reason do you give for their removal?
What say ye?
Serf, You are indeed being oppressed.imo

RKD, Why was post #999 removed?
It's not Matt.imo
But he will have to review them, the fact that they've been repeated means he won't repost them. One of them should stay, imo
I have reviewed the "handbook" and the only justification could be #5 but that's iffy since we are talking about officers of a publicly traded company.
Serf, I have seen this post and the prior 2 before they were removed. I think this information is highly relevant to this security.
Will they remove my reply to this message too?
Interesting...
Yeah, he got listed on the Frankfurt Exchange... And told everyone this is a good thing. It seems other OTC ceos are running from the Frankfurt listing.
I started watching this last week at about .60 and could not believe the low float.
I believe it even less now.
Has anyone ever spoken to the TA?
Sco, Too bad most people here own NTCV
A completely different (yet similarly named?) company.
I'm surprised PT hasn't made this a "holding" company for NIVS
as was done in the IPCY/IPO scam.
I wouldn't be surprised if they started synergizing ethanol in Costa Rica. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Great radio stream at
http://www.gratefulday.com (64k)
They've got a nice line-up of shows (sbds) that rotates every few weeks.
I use a little program called Internet Radio Recorder(free versions available) to record the stream to mp3. Instant digital soundboards. To think of all the hundreds of tapes I labeled- not to mention the cash I spent on all those Maxell XLIIs!
Another great source has been http://www.gdlive.com where they have a huge archive of soundboards in mp3 and shn (lossless) formats.
And yet another source for live music is http://stash.nugs.net/stash.asp?cmd=dl&artist=-1
And yet still ANOTHER source for live music is the vast Internet Music Archive. They have a massive dbase (from sugar megs, etree, etc) They don't let you download the sbds anymore but you can still stream them. There are a lot of audience recordings available for download, if you are so inclined.

Well Deadhead(s) that's all for now. If anyone has any other sources for free digital deadness, lemme know. Be peaceful and spread kindness. Make a living not a killing.

I don't know but I'll be out on the ledge.
I better take this accordian off first.
Serf, All out for now...
and .50 cents too early it would seem.
Nice bank though. Todays news was a nice bonus allowing for rampant value speculation. Add that to a low float on the AMEX and you've got a tsunami type momo.(Watch the undertow) That is what I'm talking about.
Hard telling,Not knowing. The street could take this to $5 on Monday with some other "news". It will be on streamers, Cramer, blahblahblah. And your in the shipping lanes headed for Hawaii. I would learn not to be so quick to take profits, but I'd be learning the easy way.lol
