If they continue to attempt to get it banned everywhere it will be a flip of a switch and a mountain of red tape when the time comes...
Its 2014 and the state of the marijuana industry has changed greatly in the last 6 years. Looks like other companies are doing it and getting away with it now...
I understand what they are trying to do but it seems more like a ploy to please shareholders than anything to help the business. Unmanned vending machines aren't medbox's competition jars and labels are. If they really have the patents they should be going after the infringer not just filing a pr saying they support a ban on their "competition". IMO medbox should move in the direction of unmanned vending machines if they really have the patent. Why try to have a potentially huge part of your future business banned??
If they have the patent they should be able to shut out their "competition" with their patent. I dont see any real value in buying a $25,000 machine to store and dispense pot to an employee who will then give it to the customer. A jar does the same thing for $1. I do however, think that traditional, unmanned, vending machines for pot and other pharmaceuticals have huge potential. A ban on their "competition" would just put up walls to their potentially largest opportunity.
Doesn't make sense imo.
News is imminent imo. OSLH filed that their 10-q would be late. It may be late because they need to make a lot of changes from their last filing. Hopefully we will see more mj in the 10-q.
The lack of news and the fact that OSLH is flying under the radar is just giving those who missed the boat the first time chance to get in imo. Based on what happened with the website I feel fairly confident that we will have more strong mj news soon.
Classic medbox Holier-than-thou shtick.
Oh, FINRA says marijuana stocks are risky and many are scams and we agree. All marijuana companies are scams EXCEPT FOR US. LOL
What's that? another weed vending machine is getting attention bc its cooler than ours? Well we at medbox dont support cannabis vending machines except our because its better...
"The reality is that these types of headline grabbing tactics instituted by unregulated pink-sheet companies looking to hype their stock does a lot of harm to the marijuana industry " funny that just a few weeks ago MDBX was one of these unregulated pinks hyping their stock...
These guys are insane. Below 15 by end of week imo...Its been a good run here. Marijuana stocks are a dime a dozen and many of them have better valuations for entry and stronger business directions.
What is the point of a vending machine if it is behind a counter???
Citron article is a good read...
Thanks
Interesting...

OSLH$$$$
Looks like OSLH made some updates to their website. Cannabis OSL looks new. First time im seeing this. Very good news imo. Looks like OSLH is in the marijuana business for good and they are moving things along under the radar.
No press release about the updated website or new subsidiary is a good sign. Looks like things are moving forward but OSLH isnt wasting our time with silly prs like a lot of other mj companies. IMO they are laying low bc of the increased SEC scrutiny and bc they have real big news on the way.
An update would be nice but this is good enough for me for now. OSLH is officially a pot stock and the last pr wasnt a fluke!!!
Buyers just dont know about OSLH. I wonder how involved richard is in this...
Someone trying to keep MSPC down???
Im sorry for your loss michaeldesanta. I can understand why the family may want to keep things private but he was the CFO of a public company who died "unexpectedly" right before his company's first report in almost 6 months was to be filed. While i like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next guy but I do believe that the timing of his passing was just a coincidence.
The lack of information regarding his death is really the only red flag to me. You said that you found the information easily on the internet. I was not able to find it. I don't want to scrutinize or theorize I just want to know what happened.
Could you please share a link?
MJ sector getting shaken up this week.
http://marijuanaindex.org/
OSLH still flying under the radar. One of the only "pot stocks" with huge room for growth imo. That is if OSLH continues with the mj...
Pre marijuana news levels. More news and we will hopefully see a similar reaction to last time. $.20 +. Great place to get in. Cant be many shares available under .05.
A link to any evidence would be great. I believe that he did pass but some more info on how would be nice.
5 mill at .0011 and 5 mill at .0012 on the ask. 9 mill on the bid at .001
Nice to see some green. If this volume keeps up sky is the limit.
Agreed March was hard on most pot stocks. Definitely a combination of filings and regulators increasing the pressure. Ill be loading up some of my favorite mj stocks slowly and quietly but I dont think MWIP will be one of them. MWIP has been in the industry longer than a lot of other mj stocks and hasnt preformed. Overall down trend for MWIP form here IMO.
GLTA
nice to see volume here today. Something is going on...
IMO the pot connection isnt real right now but there is a 50/50 chance that management moves into something pot related. The volume and build up before the annual report was a lot of investors hoping for pot or a strong report, we got neither.
Perhaps CGRA's management will realize the potential a pot link has to increase shareholder value. They wouldn't even need to change businesses. If there really is a connection between dolomite and pot they just need to announce they are going to from a subsidiary that will focus solely on selling their dolomite for growing pot. They could still be a mining company (continue to focus on oil and minerals) but they would have a subsidiary that would allow them to enter the fast growing marijuana industry and provide greater returns and liquidity for current and future investors. IMHO the million dollar question is will management do it...
I agree very slim chance this was being pumped. Their one and only pr was amazing compared to all the other mj stocks out there. From a trading perspective this kind of volatility has been fun. Buy the dips and sell the peaks!!
IMO the recent lull in news is giving investors a chance to get in now and make a boat load with the next pr. The smallest amount of news should send this up and big news will send it way up imo.
With all of the drama with pot stocks it is somewhat comforting to not see any fluff news but at the same time it would be nice if management would fill investors in on their plans. Waiting for the big reveal from management on OSLH's direction moving forward/ any other big news...
So those who already cashed out got their shares on the cheap?
Why would you accept shares as payment at .40 only to sell at .05?
Any idea what the much higher price these smaller investors got in at (.10 or .50)???
This seems to be a good thing but the info we are being provided is very vague...
Have to agree with you on this one. You explained it exactly the way I understand it...
Gotta expect profit taking from those who got in under .03...
OSLH is the most under valued pot stock out there right now. More news and anyone who got in at recent highs (.20+) will be rewarded IMHO.
Investors are waiting to see if this is for real or if the pr was just a ploy to pump up the pps. More mj news and we r up up and away!!!
Is this the same 200 mill from dec?
Any idea how many became free trading in dec to drive the price down then??
Looks like there are two floats here; the float based on shares that should be free trading and the float based on shares that are actually cleared in accounts for trading. If those numbers vary greatly the pps could possibly fall much lower (that is if the old investors are willing to sell at a loss).
if GACR had a 50 mill float with 400 mill outstanding i think we would be at a .50 pps and 10 times the current market cap...
396+ wouldnt be bad if that included large amounts of common controlled by insiders but most of the insider dont have very much common stock but instead have preferred and warrants. That means the majority of the o/s are in the float.
Im not worried about a slow down in volume. OSLH is just flying under the radar and is just looking for a reason to launch. More news and we are going way up imo!!!
hahaha love the Obama analogy!!
Bet thats the first time anyone has compared GACR executives to Obama. They might take it as a compliment lol
A lot of MJ stocks seem to be experiencing low volume today. Not sure why...
Waiting on news here...
Maybe it's just me but I was kind of hoping for something more. Not a very exciting annual. I would like to hear what is going on with all of their oil acquisitions...
Agreed. 400 mill o/s. Anyone know what the float is? Has to be at least 250 mill. If they could tighten that thing up (say 50 mill float) i think we could see some very accelerated growth resulting in a much higher valuation for GACR ad shareholders...
Future financing terms will also be interesting to see from GACR. IMO they need to avoid more dilution...
No additional info on Mr. West's passing on the GACR website or social media. I think we can all agree that a sudden death is very sad no matter what your views of GACR happen to be.
Does any one know if he was sick? Could explain his selling...
P.s.
You think the company would do a little more to address the sudden passing of their CFO. Just an sec filing seems kind of cold...
I thought they were do today. Is tomorrow the official date?
Fingers crossed for some positive surprises...
Points from 2013 10-k
Revenue: $3 mill in revenues compared to $320k in 2012. This revenue does not include the $5 mill a year from the blackhawk manufacturing acquisition.
Gross profit: $1.5 mill, not a bad margin
Operating Expenses: Stock based compensation: $6.2 mill, stock issued for settlement of agreements: $3.7 mill. Total operating expenses: $14 mill.
Based on these numbers if the blackhawk revenue has the same margins as current revenue and they get some additional profit from the trans acquisition they should be able to maintain positive cash flow with out the need for outside investment by next year!!!
R&D expenses were $0????
Dilution
Looks like at least some of the dilution has been from the Ironridge financing:
"In December 2013 we entered in to a 3a10 arrangement with Ironridge. As of December 31, 2013, we had issued 7,700,000 to cover the Newport Coachworks liabilities assigned to Ironridge as part of the arrangement. The 3a10 agreement specifies a $6m “calculation period” which determines the final settlement of shares in settlement of the debt. This calculation period extended in to February 2014 and due to the drop in our share price post year end we were required to issue a further 27,000,000 shares as final settlement."
Thats 34.7 mill shares since december 31 that i think were free trading. It doesnt mention the status of the second issuance but the first 7.7 mill were free trading ("These shares were issued without a restrictive legend pursuant to Section 3(a)(10) of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 25017(f)(3) of the California Corporations Code.")
The other large issuance appear to be to affiliates (Carter Read and other employee compensation).
Seems like the largest driving factor in the sell off was the 200 mill that became free trading in dec. Other than that there doesnt appear to be a lot of dilution.
Shorts may have been involved in the initial huge drop but i have a feeling the majority of shorts have or are covering around the .02-.03 price range. No need for a short to keep going if they shorted at .40 or .10. Also doesnt look they there are many new shares coming into the market issued below current market price.
This filing makes me think that we may have found a solid bottom!!!!!!!!! Looks like GACR has a relatively solid foundation (compared to other penny stocks) to begin to grow on. Time to go up. More news from the company about the acquisitions and future growth plans should allow shareholders to start to see some nice returns.
GLTA and go GACR!!!
Sad news. :(
Interesting stuff. Definitely dont understand a lot of the technical language but it is exciting to see GACR involved in an attempt to create a disruptive technology.
Have you thought about becoming a moderator of the board? Give a bullish prospective to compare with bar1080's bearish view...
It seems like a lot of MJ investors dont even care about revenues. They are just rushing into any stock that mentions marijuana...
Its like a mini penny land bubble lol
