I understand what they are trying to do but it seems more like a ploy to please shareholders than anything to help the business. Unmanned vending machines aren't medbox's competition jars and labels are. If they really have the patents they should be going after the infringer not just filing a pr saying they support a ban on their "competition". IMO medbox should move in the direction of unmanned vending machines if they really have the patent. Why try to have a potentially huge part of your future business banned??

If they have the patent they should be able to shut out their "competition" with their patent. I dont see any real value in buying a $25,000 machine to store and dispense pot to an employee who will then give it to the customer. A jar does the same thing for $1. I do however, think that traditional, unmanned, vending machines for pot and other pharmaceuticals have huge potential. A ban on their "competition" would just put up walls to their potentially largest opportunity.

Doesn't make sense imo.
