Very encouraging. Starting to gain some traction. First with distributors and now with customers. This isn't an overnight process, but it's how one builds a B2B company. Excellent news Lamperd. Well done.
The time will soon come when police departments will find themselves short of crowd disbursement equipment. Don't know when that day is going to happen, but all it takes is a few large unruly mobs (think another January 6). When the police start looking, with the help of Lamperd's growing distributor base, they are going to find that Lamperd has anticipated and developed solutions for a wide array of problems.
Another great product line. The season of mass demonstrations will be here soon enough. LLLI will have its time in the spotlight.
Excellent point Mustang, A line of consumer products could open a whole new revenue stream to the company. It can also introduce Lamperd Less Lethal to a potentially huge number of people. Let's face it, Lamperd is not exactly a household name with its 300 or so individual shareholders.
A new line of direct to consumer or retail products could be very interesting. Well done LLLLI. I think you are on to something.
Papas is stuck. He can't get out - insufficient volume. It would take him weeks to get out and the word would probably leak out halfway through the exit. He might as well burn the shares and try to collect the insurance money. Oops. that won't work either. He and Sam are joined at the wallet. As I have said many times before, take Sam and give the points. Sam comes out on top. Game is already over and it isn't even halftime.
Did not realize the extent of the animal control products. This is quite a comprehensive product line. Lamperd has the products. They have spent the last few years developing a distributor network. It is now a matter of time and effort. Lamperd is going to be successful. There are few competitors, especially for domestic police and military buyers. Hang in there. The ingredients for success are there.
Good point, JediJazz. This is an entirely new market that Lamperd can enter. Sell it on Amazon and some other 3rd party self protection websites. Easy to do and not expensive. If this product gains some traction, this could open a whole new channel of revenues.
The only ones who are f'd are the great unwashed retail shareholders. But that has been the case for many years with this POS, even before Sam entered the picture. Before it was incompetence and greed. Now, well, maybe it's not all that different after the Fresh Diet debacle.
The company will go on. Five years from now, IVFH will still be here. No one is going to buy it. Too much reliance on one key relationship. Five years from now, you'll see a post in this board maybe 3 times a year, just to see if anyone else gives a damn. And no, they don't. Management has been highly successful in driving the retail investors away. All by design. It's all part of the plan.
A. Sam isn't going anywhere.
B. The company's capital needs are modest. The board of directors and senior management can fund it with their allowance if they had to.
C. I told you Pappas would be a non-factor. He is just that. This is Sam's game and he decides the rules. If you don't like it, don't play. Sam has a plan. You may not like it, but I believe he has a plan. I don't think any shareholder should like it, but that's why I'm not one.
D. Believe it or not, by Q4, this company should be profitable and healthy. The restaurant business will recover. Christmas 2021 will be like none seen in the last 20 years. IVFH will make money. Not that any of your shareholders will so much as sniff the money. That's not for the peasants. That is only permitted for his Samness and his Board of Jesters.
Sam got what he always wanted. All the small investors are either gone or have no memory of past failures. No one cares at all.
Nice new product. I wonder if it works on gators? Non-lethal animal control solutions make life easier for relations between the animal control officers and the public. Another great Lamperd idea.
Don't know about replacing all rounds with pepper but I can definitely see replacing the first or first two rounds with pepper. The ability to use a conventional weapon instead of a separate weapon makes life so much easier for the LEO. It's one less weapon to carry and one less concern about having to switch weapons if the situation changes quickly.
Another good idea from Lamperd. Hang in there. Each step is a step in the right direction.
Good decision. And agreed. Even if this company makes 5 cents/share in 2023, so what? It's still a company with minimal upside potential, a management that shows its disdain for shareholders quite clearly, and one that will never share anything in the way of profits with its long suffering shareholders. If they start making profits, watch SG&A swell as management grabs the money.
Nice analysis Grease. I am a bit more optimistic than you are - Not a lot, but a few percentage points here and there. I can see a huge surge in Q3 and Q4 demand for restaurants. This should bode well for IVFH. Whatever competition they have must surely have been hurt in the pandemic. I like their position for later in the year.
Don't think I'm getting carried away here. By better I think 10% revenue growth is a bit low. I can see 12%-14%. I also like the fact that they have some food inventory. Assuming they can turn it over before it goes bad on them, rising food costs should contribute to profits.
This business has all the excitement of a gravel hauling company. But you buy it for the dividends and the confidence of knowing that Sam is working for his shareholders day after day. They are the reason he gets up and even comes to work. Go
Think loss. Q4 was not good for the restaurant business. Better than other quarters in 2020, but may not be good enough to meet expectations. IVFH's best quarter is Q4. Expecting a modest loss.
Agreed. Lamperd's products will save lives in the event of a civil disturbance. The time to buy these products is before they are needed. More US distributors will increase the visibility of the company and its products. A good move for all concerned.
Agreed. That's a pretty clever product. I can see a lot of police carrying these in their cars for when they go out on calls about animals. Sure saves on doing paperwork for firing a gun and angry dog owners claiming 'you didn't need to kill Rover'. That alone makes it a valuable product.
The longer that nothing is said to blow this up, the more I like your answer. That would be the right moves for someone looking to acquire stock, slowly and on the cheap to gain control.
Still have to believe that any company that crashes as hard and fast as this one did has to have a lot of skeletons hidden somewhere. Maybe the statute of limitations has run out in which case this could be a cheap shell. Just hard to believe that of all the flotsam, given up for dead OTC stocks, its just hard to imagine someone found this one. I happen to think CKYS is cursed, but this is more than worth watching if only for entertainment purposes.
All I can see if that someone or a lot of someones are buying this, there is only one reason to buy a stock. So grab the popcorn and vodka, pull up a cushy chair, and get comfortable. We can only hope that Act II is even half as bizarre as Act I was.
There are several possible reasons for the phoenix-like life of CKYS. I am going with the list in Occam's razor order.
1) It was so cheap that a group of gamblers found the stock and decided to buy it to establish momentum.
2) Now add a story planted (excuse the pun) on social media and this takes on a life of its own to the benefit of the gamblers who may not know enough to realize that they have created a pump and dump.
3) Someone really is doing a slow motion pump and dump. If they are, my hat is off to them. They have been very disciplined and subtle
4) Someone is taking control and going to clean this up to get a cheap shell.
5) Shorts had to cover for some reason after nearly a decade. They accidentally created a buying surge.
6) Jimmy's getting the band back together!!!
And the alternative to pepper spray is? Rubber bullets? Don't think so. Pepper spray is the best crowd control means available. Cannisters can be fired from a hundred yards away. No lasting damage. Relatively cheap and safe for police. The new reloadable cannister is just one of many devices that LLLI offers. People get hurt in violent situations. There is no 100% safe means of controlling an angry mob. Pepper is probably the best option.
Violence runs in cycles. The 1960's are going to return because so many people are frustrated, angry, and in many cases just stupid. The future for a company in Lamperd's business is bright. I can't say when this takes off, but I believe the time is much sooner than later. These people have the right products as the world get increasingly angry.
Another key piece of the puzzle comes together. It's a numbers game. The two most critical pieces are distributors and time. Products like Lamperd's have a long sales cycle. Lots of budget approvals and testing are required before police and military organizations place an order. Each new distributor begins that process with additional players. It is now just a matter of time and perseverance. Lamperd looks like a winner more and more with each announcement.
Constant product improvement will be a factor in growing the company. Good to see that Lamperd continues to work on new and exciting products for people and governments who need what they manufacture.
Long LLLI - looking for a dime a share before year end.
Nice looking mask. I can see how this could also be adapted for jobs that require hard hats. Nice job LLLI.
Glad you think this COVID problem is all over in 2021. I do not share that optimism at all. People will be wearing masks in 2022. With mutations and anti-vacers, this isn't going away anywhere as fast as any of us would like.
From today's New York Times
The U.S. will face heightened threats for weeks from violent domestic extremists emboldened by the assault on the Capitol, the D.H.S. said.
Real News. Could be why the stock closed higher today. More violence to come?
It doesn't matter where the products are going today, or this week. What matters is that the company can and does sell the product. When the RFPs are issued, Lamperd can expect to be invited to bid.
The Feds and many state governments are going to be needing these shields ASAP if this gets out of control.
Let's see what happens from here. Circumstances do look favorable. A dime handle would be very sweet.
The more they talk in Washington, the higher this goes. Keep talking!!!
I think that is exactly the point. Who was the other guy? Chances are good he was an accountant with a CFO title. That's not a CFO. That's a chief accountant.
I don't believe that leaked news of the appointment of a CFO to a tiny company like IVFH is going to move the stock needle more than a penny or two. This fellow is obviously not coming over from P&G or US Foods or another monster company.
The stock move and this announcement are probably coincidences. I have never believed in coincidences but I am willing to admit that sometimes two actions that appear to be related may not be.
I will look at LODE. Personally, I am following LLLI. It's a story stock, but there are several chapters yet to play out.
I suspect it won't be long before IVFH falls back to the mid 30's. If there really was news worthy of an 8K (there was a 13D/A filing yesterday but I didn't see anything noteworthy), the SEC would be all over it after all this activity prior to the announcement. All roads lead to a pump from the outside.
Good luck to you.
Don't be a stranger just because you sold. Still more ridicule to be dished out as the IVFH managerial temper tantrum enters its third year. Loads of fun to come. Don't lose this address.
Moving the ball forward. Great news out this morning. Another US distributor signs on. It's only a matter of time. Companies see a need and Lamperd is a solution. It's going to translate into orders - big orders. Lamperd is in the right place at the right time. And that may mean dime/share or more in the next 12 months.
GO LLLI !!
Lamperd Less Lethal Receives Initial Orders to Supply Advanced Riot Control Products for the US Market
Minnesota Based Veteran Enterprises, LTD will Assemble and Market Lamperd Riot Control Products to US Police and Other Security Agencies
SARNIA, ON / January 12, 2021 / Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. (OTC PINK:LLLI), an innovation leader and manufacturer of advanced security solutions for law enforcement, military and security agencies worldwide, has received initial orders for new distributor Veteran Enterprises, LTD of Minnesota. A purchase order and full payment was received by Lamperd from our Master Parts Distributor, EJC Security Services, Inc. of Pittsburgh, PA.
To facilitate the delivery process, Lamperd is manufacturing and shipping only inert components to EJC Securities which will then deliver them to Veteran Enterprises. This makes transport and regulatory compliance much simpler and also safer for everyone involved. Veteran Enterprises is licensed to assemble and market products with explosive components so they will perform the final assembly and arming of the Lamperd munitions at their well equipped US facility. Veteran Enterprises is dedicated to serving the needs of veterans in law enforcement and related fields with the best new technologies available. The company places a special focus on green, eco-friendly products for a better environment. The Veteran Enterprises moto is “Veterans helping veterans while building a better, greener tomorrow.”
The initial products ordered for Veteran Enterprises include Lamperd’s 37mm Aerial Burst Pepper Spray munitions which are designed to disburse a powerful but harmless pepper compound above a crowd with no harmful debris dropped. Lamperd Aerial Burst rounds are unique in that they cannot be thrown or kicked back at peace officers like traditional pepper or tear gas products. Just one of these rounds can control an area of 200 square feet with effects lasting on individuals for up to 20 minutes, so this is a versatile tool for disbursing rioters. Lamperd 37mm Wasp Impact Rounds are also included in this first order. These less lethal rubber rounds have been proven very effective at stopping aggressive individuals, thereby giving peace offices a valuable alternative to the use of deadly force projectiles.
Barry Lamperd, CEO of Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. commented, “The recent events at the US Capitol and other locations have clearly illustrated the need for effective riot control products to maintain public order and also ensure that lives are not needlessly lost. We are pleased to be joining with our new US based distributor Veteran Enterprises, to make a positive contribution towards supplying US police and other peace keeping forces with some of the very best products to safely keep order during these difficult times. Lamperd Less Lethal has decades of experience in designing and manufacturing riot control products optimized for both effectiveness and the safety of everyone. In all of Lamperd’s history no one has ever been killed or even seriously injured by any Lamperd product.”

Green Dolphin - enjoyed your post. Cynical? Perhaps. But accurate to my way of thinking. This company is legitimately working to develop a niche business. It takes time but they are making progress. Meanwhile, investors are beginning to realize that if there is a need for non-lethal weapons, there aren't a lot of companies that make them. LLLI will get its share of the pie. And that pie is about to get a lot bigger in 2021.
Ditto for me. Congratulations to all of you who took this opportunity to exit. You deserve awards for your patience.
Well said, Amigo Mike. Think of the alternative possibilities for what is happening. Let's try a few scenarios.
1) There is real news in the works and it has yet to be released. If this isn't an invitation for an SEC insider trading investigation, then nothing is. Sam and company may be a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them. The probability that there is real news that leaked out all over Twitter has to be ranked very low.
2) This is a pump. As I previously stated, if you had to find a company that was optimally structured for a pump, it would look a lot like IVFH. It checks a lot of boxes. Low float, minimal trading, management who refuses to communicate with shareholders, company in transition between business models, company with a new and interesting large shareholder. This is like shooting fish in a barrel for a pumper. This has to be ranked very high.
3) Someone screwed up and confused IVFH with another company. It's happened many times before. People have confused Marvel Comics with Marvel the semiconductor company. Early in my investing career, I purchased stock in Triangle-Pacific when I really wanted to invest in Triangle Publications (long before the internet existed.) It happens, but I would rank this possibility as low.
I can't think of another possibility. Pump is the only one that makes sense. What is most surprising is that the company has not issued any comment that anyone can reference, yet. I'm guessing their attitude is this is good for the company and management didn't have to do anything to double the stock price. But we all know that when a company gets a reputation for being manipulated by pumpers, management loses even more credibility. Hard to imagine they could, but they can.
Could well be a pump. This is a low float stock with many days a month of no trades or just a few thousand shares. If one were going to pump a stock, this would be a good candidate. Too bad management is so shareholder antagonistic. Otherwise, a simple phone call would solve this question.
I show trades coming in at 3 minutes after the bell. Crazy, insane volume. Someone has to be short many millions of shares.
What an unbelievable day. Disaster for the USA. But we were in the right stock at the right time.
