Well said, Amigo Mike. Think of the alternative possibilities for what is happening. Let's try a few scenarios.
1) There is real news in the works and it has yet to be released. If this isn't an invitation for an SEC insider trading investigation, then nothing is. Sam and company may be a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them. The probability that there is real news that leaked out all over Twitter has to be ranked very low.
2) This is a pump. As I previously stated, if you had to find a company that was optimally structured for a pump, it would look a lot like IVFH. It checks a lot of boxes. Low float, minimal trading, management who refuses to communicate with shareholders, company in transition between business models, company with a new and interesting large shareholder. This is like shooting fish in a barrel for a pumper. This has to be ranked very high.
3) Someone screwed up and confused IVFH with another company. It's happened many times before. People have confused Marvel Comics with Marvel the semiconductor company. Early in my investing career, I purchased stock in Triangle-Pacific when I really wanted to invest in Triangle Publications (long before the internet existed.) It happens, but I would rank this possibility as low.
I can't think of another possibility. Pump is the only one that makes sense. What is most surprising is that the company has not issued any comment that anyone can reference, yet. I'm guessing their attitude is this is good for the company and management didn't have to do anything to double the stock price. But we all know that when a company gets a reputation for being manipulated by pumpers, management loses even more credibility. Hard to imagine they could, but they can.
