Did anyone get charged a $20 reorganization fee from Ameritrade? I have two accounts which aren't Apex, and they were charged this fee. Just wondering if anyone else got whacked.
Hey Chevy,
Hope things are well.
I was taking a look at the iBox today and I noticed there was a blurb in there dated 5/21 regarding the company interviewing potential CPA's to prepare audits prior to filing a 10-SB. Obviously, there has been a lot going on with this company since May, but I was curious if this subject has come up recently in your conversations with David.
I just purchased the Brooke Morton song. Once you pay with Paypal, you need to click the link to return to Nashville Records website and you will be presented with a link to download the purchased song. I only state this because I didn't see clear instructions on what to do, and I waited for a bit to see if it was going to come in email.
By the way, I'm not a country fan, but that is a really beautiful song!
The two issues that I noticed on the new Nashville Records, yesterday, have been resolved. The Christmas album tracks are working and can be ordered online (didn't test fully yet) and the registration for the Investor portion of the website is now functional.
Yeah, it's broken
All too well!
Just did a little further poking and it looks like the pay for downloads section just needs some link updating. It's still pointing to the area where they had the test site. Simple fix.
On a side note, does anyone here plan on entering the contest once it's released? $5,000, 100,000 NSHV shares, and a possible five minutes of fame are up for grabs!
Cat, I'm simply stating that the site was rushed. They could have waited until the original release date and avoided some of these issues altogether. Of course things will pop up now and again that we don't have control over (Murphy's Law), but it seems irresponsible to launch a new site with major flaws, especially when those flaws affect a possible revenue stream.
I like the site, I just wish they had waited until things were ready before releasing it.
Do you have any examples of this "textbook pinky play?" I've certainly never seen it done like this before!
The site is obviously still in testing phase, as there are quite a few features which currently do not work. While I like the overall appearance of the site, I don't like the idea of releasing the site to the public with flawed features (song purchasing and Investor area registration are broken). My hope is that the premature website launching is due to all the excitement being generated in the background at Nashville Records. Hopefully, they'll get these issues ironed out over the next couple of days.
New site is up, FWIW
Hmm... This appears to be a new page from the one I looked at yesterday. Much better IMO! I wasn't all that impressed with the old page.
Remember, today is an ESTIMATE for the website release. Nothing is certain, and if it contains everything they've mentioned, they'll want to make sure it's functional before bringing it online.
From the website:
10/26/07
New website nearing completion and launch. Estimates for launch were previously estimated for November 10th.
* New launch date estimate: November 2, 2007 (extended for programmers for Tue Nov 6.)
I'm sure they are going to keep the same URL, as it wouldn't make sense to change it. I don't know if they'll PR it again, but keep an eye out for it to show up sometime today.
Actually, I just answered my own question. After looking at some of the other sites, it looks like end of November shipment expected. Looking forward to seeing the finished product :)
Did anyone order the Christmas album from someone other than B&N? If so, has it shipped?
Expected ship date on my B&N order is now November 29th. Surely, it shouldn't take that long should it?
Wow, that's a pretty hefty PR
I went through prior PR's yesterday, and I couldn't find any where NSHV made this statement.
It may have been posted on the website at some point, but I couldn't find any proof yesterday. I was taking WatchFrog's word for it.
I wonder how deep the well is now?
Chevy,
Thanks very much for the updates. I figured this would be an easy cleanup.

Because NOW we are supposed to be putting all this crap in the past and moving forward. They had the benefit of the doubt the last time, and now they have our money. I agree with you, one person does not make a company, but neither will running the company with a one step forward--two steps back approach. If they are truly ready to move ahead, then these are the types of issues that need to be rectified in order to clean the slate.
I'd like to take part of my statement back. I can't seem to find this in a PR. Did they ever state that Anita Cox was still working for them? I seem to recall reading something, but now I'm not so sure. Was there something on the website at some point or did someone post this? She WAS listed as one of the writers for the Christmas album in the latest release, but that's all I see.
Chevy, would you be willing to ask David about Anita Cox? WatchFrog's comments raise serious credibility issues with Nashville Records if this turns out to be true, especially since it was PR'd.
On a side note, has anyone's order from Barnes and Noble been shipped? I received an email today that it was delayed 1-5 days. I've had this happen before when pre-ordering things, but I was just curious if it had anything to do with the quantity I ordered(3).
I just noticed there is already some feedback on the Barnes and Noble site from someone who received a promo CD:

The company sent our station a promo CD and it was nice to hear a few new songs blended with a few traditional numbers. The new artist, Brooke Morton is particularly a gifted vocalist. Station PM still deciding which numbers might play on radio.
I did my part. I just ordered three CD's as Christmas gifts this morning. Unfortunately, I think Christmas compilations are a dime a dozen these days. Most end up on the $2.99 clearance rack. However, I agree that ANY revenue is a good start, and I am very pleased with the turnaround time on this album.
Yeah, this POS did that to a lot of folks. I'm surprised it's even trading at all at this point.
I don't think it will be public information unless they want it to be public information.
Someone just wrote me and said they heard Nashville Records was going to retain 5% (sorry, can't reply back with free membership). Did anyone else hear this? My gut feeling is that they wouldn't just let this slip their fingertips without making sure they were in a position to gain from it....it's just too huge IMO.
Finally, some PR'd explanations! Hopefully, this truly is the start of a positive trend from Nashville Records. There are still some open issues regarding the 504D shares, warrants, and Kimberly Caldwell.
I wonder what kind of percentage Nashville Records will be retaining on the USS New York project? If it's as large as they say, even a small percentage could be significant.
I don't think that's it at all. Recent events suggest that they were merely waiting for the right opportunity to recapitalize the company.
No, it's definately not Bee.
I was just curious, because I've noticed that when companies announce the initial filing, they inadvertently impose time limits on themselves from impatient investors. I've seen it hurt the share price more than once when it takes longer than 30-60 days to clear SEC comments. Sometimes, this just can't be avoided. In the long run, obviously, it doesn't matter for those willing to hold.
Hopefully, the diligence of the audit firm will limit the amount of questions that need to be answered by the SEC, but I'd rather see them come out with a whopper PR saying comments were cleared and they are immediately uplisting versus applying and having the process be delayed.
Just some thoughts.
Does anyone know if EI is planning to announce when they submit form 10-SB to the SEC, or do they plan to wait until all comments clear?
Nashville Records Email List
Just wanted to remind everyone that if you want to be on the Nashville Records email list, send an email to David to let him know. It appears as though he is beginning to use the list more. For those not on the list, here was the last message:

It is apparent to all shareholders that the company was noticeably quiet over the past several months. The reasons for this were numerous and due mostly because of legal reasons and reorganization. The Company will now commence with news and continuing updates. The company has not relaxed its efforts and is continuing its business plans.
October 31, 3 P.M.
Took half mine off the table today for small profit, but mostly to ride freebies. Hate selling without news, and so soon after buying them, but well...you all know the game ;)
Seems to be mostly a rehash of what was already on the website at one point. Looking forward to the new website though.

Christmas Album 2007. The final mastered album clips are now posted to the website and can be heard from the Multimedia page (you may have to refresh your screen-hit the F5 function key on your keyboard). The album is complete and will be available via the website and other outlets in November. When the new site launches songs will be fully downloadable.

Brooke Morton, one of the artists featured on the upcoming Christmas album, will be performing the national anthem for the NASCAR Busch series race on October 12th. The event will be televised nationally on one of the ESPN stations at 7:30 ET. Her performance is scheduled somewhere between 7:15 ET and 7:45 ET.
Isn't Monday the day that the new SEC rule regarding shorting goes into effect? Could this have anything to do with the rise in PPS today?
This is a good post, grasswhacker.
It's the not buyers you should be concerned about. Why would you pay more than you have to? It's the people willing to sell at that level that should concern you.
Thanks GJ.
Regarding your shares being unavailable for trading. If things keep going the way they are going, it may just be a blessing in disguise
Forgive me, but noone responded the last time I asked.
What is the significance of October 15th?
