spartex, I should try that myself on the Stockhouse DNI board. What a great idea.
I wanted to catch up to TWEED, not by them coming down to us.
You are thanking yourself for making that post? Too bad you don't own DNI the real Graphite company for the future.IMHO.
I just woke guys anyting new, or exciting?
A couple of small Canadian whiskey makers Seagrams in Montreal and Harem Walker in Windsor Canada accross from Detroit, became 2 of the largest producers of booze in the world because of prohibition in the U.S. These Canadian bootleggers sold to Al Capone and others in the underworld. This situation is not the same thing, however with Canada becoming the first, first world country to completely legalize weed, could history repeat itself for EMHTF and others establishing themselves to the U.S. and the world as future kings of cannibis? IMHO
That is just great to hear.
WEED's market cap is still 7 times EMHTF, Aurora is 6 times. APH is still 3.5 times bigger. Leaf is 2.5 times bigger. EMHTF has a long way to go to close the gap between the big boys, and suppose they go higher over time? VFF you can muliply by 3. In the U.S the state governments need the revenue from cannibis very badly. Germany starting to look this way. Just the beginning. EMHTF is at the starting line for the world. IMHO.
Could the Canadian senate hold it up? I guess they could make some noise about it with so many independants now in the senate. However most Canadians don't even think about a Canadian senate, outside what was learned about it in school. They are political appointees and political hacks. With the U.S. Senate so important to the U.S. political process, it is hard to think of the word Senate without thinking of an important governing body. What you have to think of is the government in England which Canada copied. In Britain there is the House of Commons, which makes all the laws and where head of the government is, the Prime Minister. And the House of Lords, which like the House of Senate in Canada, is really just and old institution. The House of Lords was important 400 years ago, where the nobles in Britain, the Dukes Earls, Barons etc. held power and sat in government. Since the rise of the middle class and democracy in Britain the House of Commons became the governing body, with the Queen and House of Lords, now powerless, and just for ceremony. In fact I think it was 1999, when there was a vote to eliminate the House of Lords which had so much history to it. There isn't that glamour and history to the House of senate in Canada, that the House of Lords has. When Canada became a independent country, Canada copied England with 2 houses. The Commons like in England, and the senate like the Lords, however powerless. I still maintain that some Senate members might try to gain some publicity by talking about it in public, their 10 minutes of fame, however if the senate ever tried to stop any legislation, no matter what, it could find itself, having a vote in the Commons whether they too should be abolished. No one in Canada wants a group of political appointess making laws, or the Senate could find itself having to run for office, which 90% of them would not want to do. It is much to easy to keep their cushy jobs doing nothing. The law will pass, the senate will not interfere, except a few loud mouths spouting off, for their few minutes of fame.
My pleasure to help. Let's keep EMHTF and VFF catching up to the big boys in market cap, with WEED and company moving up too.
I must clarify that there are more Conservatives (Republicans) and Independants then there are Liberals (Democrats) at the moment in the House of Senate in Canada. However, as I said before this branch unlike the U.S. Senate is not elected. There is no Prime Minister for the Canadian senate, and Senators are appointed for past deeds, as much as an ambassador would be appointed. I do not believe they have stopped any bill from passing in the history of Canada. Actually, there has been much of the public that have recently asked for the senate branch to be abolished, since they serve no real purpose, and are not elected. Just a political appointment favor for past deeds. Yes, some senators could talk up a fuss to sound important. However the Senators know they are not elected, and would not try to stop any bill that has passed The House of Commons were the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau seats with all the elected MPs from accross Canada.
Actually Justin Trudeau the Prime Minister has a massive majority in the House of Commons. It would be political suicide for any Liberal MP from his party to go against the boss Trudeau. Any MP that wants to get ahead with maybe a cabinet post, or other appointments, better pass what Justin Trudeau the PM boss wants.
VFF small share float, and tiny market cap, same with Emerald, should have them close the gap between them and WEED and the other big boys.
I hope this summer isn't the final leg up, for Emerald, just the start. As for the Canadian Senate. Unlike the U.S. Senate, they are not elected, only appointments for retired politicians, and will do what they are told. Have no voice really, since they are not elected. Also most are Liberals, as with the government in office. IMHO.
Maybe also DNI. Dan making DNI the next junior Ferrari etc. IMHO
GORO is the best of the best for reasons too numerous to repeat. From their shoe string budgets for every project to save money. To their by passing the PFS, BFS etc, etc. Their high grade projects and future divy raises. They are the Cadillac, Porsche, Ferrari, of junior miners. IMHO
Yes I agree completely. We have the best in Emerald and VFF. I was just curious about the others because what I found on them wasn't even in the weed business. EMH and VFF have not got their licenses yet, and the difference in Market cap between EMH,VFF and WEED is staggering. That does not include if the big boys continue to go up. When we start to get our licenses WOW, is all I can say.
By the way what are the names for ivi ogr? I don't seem to able to find out if they are in cannibis. Thanks in advance
Let Weed keep on going up. Great for us if WEED's MCap goes higher. They just raised more money on an over subscribed issue. Great sign for Emerald if instos keep wanting into the sector. EMH will fly to even start to catch up with the big boys. I own VFF too of course, so big days ahead for them too. VFF and EMH are so under valued it isn't funny.
Compare our market cap to WEED, Aurora, Aphria, and we have just started to catch up. A very long way to go, and WEED and others might still go very much higher too. Therefore a very very long way to go to catch up.
When does Emerald get its first license, March or April?
Emerald is so much cheaper than WEED. It isn't really funny.
Have you looked at NEPT Neptune at all. I own it besides Village and Emerald. It used to be in the Krill Oil business, sold it when George Haywood who was behind the success of Sarepta SRPT came in as the second largest shareholder. He made them move into Cannibis oil business, should get their license August sometime. They have a beautiful new plant in Sherbrooke Que. They also have a Nasdaq listing. Cheers
GORO is starting to move.
Great news from DNI. We are selling our Graphite! DNI has a great customer.
DNI great news indeed. I thought the bid and ask was acting a little bit strange before the opening. This is really great news!
OT VLE Analyst Malcolm Shaw was pounding the table on VLE in late 2015. I think I got in early 2016 or so looking back, and wasn't sure if I did the right thing, but with Statoil coming on board later, sounded good. The CEO of Cormark also had about 15% of VLE, and he is a pretty smart guy so I held, but it felt VLE would never go up, until the big move recently with the results, which was breathtaking. Yes this could be only the start of it for VLE with Turkey needing gas so bad, however, there is a very good chance of them being bought out sometime this year. Cheers
dr airtime, congrats on your holdings, especially VLE. I also have VLE. I bought it at about 60 cents around March, April of 2016, so I had a bit of a wait before it moved big time. For awhile there, I thought it would never move. Cheers.
Hi Edge, There is no holiday today in Canada. It is just a normal trading day today. First trading day of the new year. Cheers
We might also get some results from Switchback next week
Dan Weir is one of the best CEOS I have seen ever, accomplishing so much in the last year. They say that opposites attract, which might be true since Randel Swick of Cougar is probably the worst CEO I have ever seen. IMHO
I believe that the Switchback vein system at Arista should be coming on line early in the first quarter of 2018, IMHO
I mean Alta Garcia's Mirador mine.
Should get GORO's Alta Garcia's mine going great in 2018.
I mean a better stock for next year.
Great stock for next year IMHO
Value, some Aussie stocks have 2 billion shares outstanding, they like low price stocks there, however at least many of those cos are trying to build something. With Cougar randal does nothing for his salary. He issued 61 million shares in Sept of course before mentioning to anyone in OZ that there was trouble in Madagasgar. They are talking on the Hot Copper board of doing a participating rights issue where shareholders buy shares at a discount to fund their Lithium project in Brazil, however IMHO there will not be any Lithium project in Brazil as Randal showed on Stockhouse, when he would not answer that shareholder who asked him about the Lithium project. Issuing cheap shares to shareholders, a great way to delute what is left of your co. The way randal is going, suing all his partners he will have 2 billion shares issued needed to fund all the legal work. A great way to destroy a company. IMHO
Checkmate look at this........ Randels compensation $234,400 for last year for doing nothing.
try this link

it might not work so google,
Does Cougar Metals NL (ASX:CGM) Follow The Market Trend Of High Stock Based Incentives.
Should be the first story on the google page from Simply Wall St.
Talks briefly about Randels's large salary for doing nothing, and he came on stockhouse saying he doesn't receive any compensation using his own money. What a con job
Checkmate you are right on all counts. It is quite astonishing how far Dan has taken DNI in one year, from not having money to drill, to having off take agreements, customers, pilot project, and 43-101 soon, another property, And Randel does nothing, but wants it all. It is probably one of the best jobs I have ever seen any CEO build a resource company so quickly. That is why I didn't like to see anyone try to steal it from Dan or us the DNI shareholders, from someone who did nothing like Randel. Cheers
Great posts you made on stockhouse today and yesterday Checkmate, and Floridas2000 superb post. As I mentioned before, Randel sues and fights with pretty well all the companies he does business with. Even this Lithium project is suspect that their LOl is suspicious, and he has fought with one of his partners in Brazil too. If Randel would drill and build his resource properties half as well as he trys to sue everyone, he would be running another Goldcorp now. I wish Dan had done a little more DD on Cougar and Randel, before doing the JV. Anyway, glad DNI is keeping their cards close to their vest, while Randel spills his guts out on stockhouse. That has got to help Dan. I couldn't even make sense or read that supposed PRE he put on stockhouse in Randel's last post. I would not put it past Randel to intentionally not finish the 3000 meters drilling, just so he could sue.
More great drilling results for DNI from Maddy.
I don't have a link, but you can go to the TSX web-site and type in DNI, Cheers
