I'd look at Nevada SOS data on buisness licenses , last time I peeped they were expired for at least the I menu buisness.
You and Dadx4 bring up a good point, noticed mdce was " on alert" at triple 000 penny plays here on ihub and it's not on alert because its nessasarily a long term investment choice by them.
Another "well said"!
I think your right on target.
Am thinking your right on target. This was hopefully not one of the 99% and think that's why all the dd/digging happened recently IMO, some wanted to make sure if it was one of the 1%. Hard the fathom that their idea wouldn't of panned out, fantastic idea to capitalize on children's healthcare market in China.
Well, does not look like any trademark or patent pending marks etc..on the med-suite or Telehealth products/software listed in mdce,s website. If they did get it developed, it should be protected and if it is who has the rights etc..a JV ? Or maybe it's a dead issue.
http://www.medicaretechinc.com/product-development/
"MDCE has several products that place it among the leaders in developing healthcare information technology.
MedSuite Technology. This is a management information system enabling healthcare professionals to securely exchange patient information electronically such as charts providing them with greater efficiency and reduced costs.
Telehealth Suite. This product is focused on providing the consumer with services such as viewing x-rays and lab results, making appointments, reviewing and monitoring health records and history and general medical information. The Company plans to introduce add-on services and the first of which is a Continuous Glucose Monitoring application for diabetic patients."
All with ya on your post all the way. Very good learning experience too.
And he may still be involved with " The Edge Communications" too. http://theedgecomm.ca/
I see a Pv@ on the website as a contact.
Am thinking the questions are not so simple to answer anymore either due to vague/questionable answers etc.. on past questions IMO. The longer the wait, the more is asked and thought of to ask.
Some updates on business licenses might be nice too.
Tad bit more info on Oceanwise website. Would love to be a paid subscriber to this place.
http://whois.domaintools.com/oceanwise.asia
Has hints of history and other data related.
Yes, I can see that with any startup. Just Buzz's comment brought up a possibility to me is all. Who benefits from JV income, and is it easy for example for an US company to pull out of a jv?
Trying to picture money flow from one jv, to another and then to Oceanwise and MDCE.
So from your viewpoint, what would being a seed source only possibly mean to an MDCE shareholder? I may not be asking correctly.
For example, assuming it was seed money, for creating jv's non US would that possibly be bad? Trying to picture money flow in my head assuming the seed only thing could be possibility.
" Clinic Practice Costs " Asian
http://news.sma.org.sg/3911/survey.pdf
Just gives an idea of some things/what costs moola involved in running a clinic.
Some basic renovation and equipment costs Dental. US
http://www.dentistryiq.com/articles/dem/print/volume-9/issue-2/equipment/equipment-update/how-much-does-stuff-cost.html
Neat with answers at end. Includes some us costs for renovation and equipment FWIW. Seems relevent.
Quartely construction costs update, Asia.
http://rlb.com/rlb.com/pdf/research/RLB_Hong_Kong_and_China_Report_June_2012.pdf
Even though this proposed site is not to be built from ground up, the above article is quite interesting.
FWIW, had a contractor in my hometown look at MDCE print and pictures and give a WAG on cost per foot for medical facility as he has built and renovated some. The key is the word medical, that appearently instantly add costs. His take in our town was 200$/sq foot to renovate etc and build areas for medical etc.. as a wild A** guess as print does not show layout. He remarked how small the spaces looked for a medical/dental clinic. Who knows the average cost to renovate to medical office space per sq ft in Shenzen? Im curious.
Does not include medical equipment of course.
BTW, I dont think what Im seeing on new print is the size we have seen stated in PR's.
Their raising capital does not bother me. Just other questions raise alarms IMO. Perhaps another attempt forwarding a list of valid questions should be made and forwarded in general.
It just brings up more and more valid questions , when some answers we've received are iffy. More dd gets done and I still want to know why it appears the CEO is an admin of Oceanwise website along with other questions to be answered.
You betcha! Lol
I was referring to us asking questions.
I'm sure your right, guess what I was hinting at was something you may of brought up earlier. Might be a different way of asking questions keeping in mind some differences in business culture etc.. I wasn't thinking they didn't know how to deal with situation over there.
Who knows, might make a difference when asking questions keeping the below in mind and also MDCE responses to questions.
American Vs. Chinese Business Culture
http://www.ehow.com/about_6322641_american-vs_-chinese-business-culture.html
http://thechinagateway.com/2012/06/20/chinese-vs-american-business-culture-2/
Of interest is the differences in business etiquette and communications styles. May be relevent, wonder if things get lost in translation with MDCE/IHUB communications.
"Hong Kong - Language, Culture, Customs and Etiquette"
http://www.kwintessential.co.uk/resources/global-etiquette/hongkong-country-profile.html
http://www.worldbusinessculture.com/Chinese-Business-Communication-Style.html
"One of the reasons that communication can be such a problem in China is that along with many other Asians, the Chinese find it extremely difficult to say 'no'. Saying 'no' causes both embarrassment and loss of face and it is therefore better to agree with things in a less than direct manner. Thus anything other than an unequivocal 'yes' probably means 'no'. Be very wary of phrases such as 'Yes but it might be difficult' and 'Yes, probably'."
"USA - Language, Culture, Customs and Etiquette"
http://www.kwintessential.co.uk/resources/global-etiquette/usa.html
"Americans are direct. They value logic and linear thinking and expect people to speak clearly and in a straightforward manner. To them if you don’t “tell it how it is” you simply waste time, and time is money. If you are from a culture that is more subtle in communication style, try not to be insulted by the directness."
Apoligies Mei Mei, saw my alias in post and answered. It is removed.
You do bring up a good point, they probably are getting slowed down with questions IMO; I can dig that. There's the rub, they started communicating here on the board and of course questions would be asked.
Its kinda like maybe they should not have opened up and we(all investors) could of watched them do their thing good or bad without our interference or questions and let the dice roll? Thats sounds funky IMO.
Simple. For me only, Do I want to invest further or not is the "why". I could just throw some money at it, in belief only but have done that already.
"i understand you are saying its all DD but i personally see no point to it."
Really?
"Accountants in Hong Kong are facing a challenge that goes beyond balance sheets and profit and loss accounts - how to handle state secrets."
http://www.scmp.com/business/banking-finance/article/1028515/accountants-face-challenge-over-disclosure-state-secrets
"The watchdog is becoming concerned that the increasing number of the companies citing mainland state secrecy laws as reasons for non-disclosure will tarnish corporate transparency and enforcement in Hong Kong.
Lo said if a company could not make a disclosure because its business dealt with state secrets then it was not a suitable listing candidate.
"Investors rely on a company's disclosure to make investment decisions," Lo said."
"Hong Kong: The Country and its Culture" Business related.
http://www.lowtax.net/lowtax/html/asia_pacific/business/hong_kong_country_culture.html
"In Hong Kong, as in Mainland China itself, a successful negotiation, and a successful business relationship, is therefore dependent on recognizing that a contract, while necessary and important, is only one aspect of the cultural nexus in which a foreign investor is operating. It may be difficult, also, to locate responsibility and decision-making power among the group of Chinese with whom you are negotiating or dealing."
Thought this article was relevant.
"Mapping Financial Secrecy Hong Hong"
http://www.secrecyjurisdictions.com/PDF/HongKong.pdf
Now this article may put yesturdays data findings in a different light, depending how ya look at it.
Agreed, sure looks like him. And, there may be an article that will shed some light on yesterday's findings, someone here posted one very recently about how secretive some Hong Kong investors can be about their money(kept under the pillow).
Its really that simple IMO, clarification!. Too much room was left for doubt of information past months/weeks/days given by MDCE IMO and this may have prompted after thinking about it; routine DD by some recently.
Frankly, I suspect they had given out too much info before they were really ready to respond to legitimate questions reguarding their data possibly; reguardless if data was accurate or balony. If it ends up that this co is good deal then Im good with that but data is not there yet imo but holding my shares anyways. Am ready for the worst case too, have some questions to go up the ladder now.
In this day and age, like someone mentioned; info can be found and will be looked for to either verify or whatever. A company doing buisness or based from U.S. should dot their I's and cross all the T's.
OK, for the sake of argument and the possibility I might be wrong on some things; have you seen the Shenzen location yourself?
What might be your thought on the fact that MDCE posted a print with certain suites selected on day and then the next day changed this? If you seen this place(ShenZhen location), is the current selection of suites on their print correct now?
Now, why would I start wondering about Oceanwise and MDCE considering the whois data for the oceanwise website? No joking around, having a Ning Chung WU with some kind of ties to the Oceanwise website administration etc.. would seem at the least a really big question considering the comments of the communicator from MDCE about Oceanwise.
Im hip, no one would be as silly to put themselves at risk fooling with SEC.
This is bizarre.
--We cannot dictate what another company can do with its website."
Well they can certainly help edit it imo! lol
Let alone other stuff I'm finding this weekend.
Haaa, how wrong his statement was I'm thinking. :) lol
I'm dying to hear the story clarifying all this, should make great tv IMO.
I looks like the ip address of Oceanwise website originates from US. Its on Godaddys servers in AZ.
http://www.whoismind.com/ip/184.168.192.92.html
Mdce could you respond please, the Whois data for Oceanwise's website indicates a Ning Chung Wu as an admin/technical and also under billing for Oceanwise.Asia website(http://oceanwise.asia/Home_Page.html) http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/oceanwise.asia.
I would like clarification, many have asked about Oceanwise with various answers from MDCE board members and employees, or have recieved really no answers.
Another Whois on Oceanwise, all comes back same.
