I’m not sure if we know whether he was invited or invited himself. Regardless, he was a presenter, and therefore a “key figure” by default, as opposed to an attendee or just a sponsor. Clearly, the message he conveyed was endorsed by the organizers. SAFE is not a Government organization but gov’t involvement in the conference was not only not a secret, it was a major component. Mark presented in the morning of opening day immediately following the EXIM chair. His presentation is on YouTube for the world to see. I think the scheduling is compelling considering NioCorp is one of only four MMIA projects known to be pending at EXIM, it’s the only Category A project during a time of increased drive to re-shore critical mineral production, and a time when EXIM has a ton of money to spend in a hot election year and they’re running out of time to claim victories.

Got this from the VirTra Facebook page. Sounds like he might have done it today.

Interesting, looks like the drinks may be making some inroads into more mainstream stores/brewpubs in a few areas, but still plenty of separation as well as concern over medical/addiction/legal/drug test issues. Thanks for the info. MN seems to be leading the way, maybe they should take a truckload up there. FL, not so much. Wait, do they actually have a product to take into an already crowded field?

So? OK. Sure. A lot changing. Lots of players in this field and if you can't fix your websites and can't get a product to market it makes life tougher. We'll see if it was a wise choice.

THC and liquor sales are highly regulated and enforced by different divisions. Could be wrong, but I don't know of any state that allows THC/MJ and liquor to be sold in the same place. Different licensing, different taxes. Access into dispensaries isn't like walking into a liquor store. Where I am, the same liquor stores 6 miles away can't transfer stock from one store to the other because they're in different counties. You have to present an ID to buy non-alcoholic beer/wine. Unlikely you will see THC products in normal stores for a very long time, if ever (or liquor in dispensaries).
Those were the two sources of all the income.
They didn't - and the Lemin likely didn't need to be sold off, and Gold Leaf probably didn't need to be shuttered. Yet here we are, with a completely different thing going on. But hey, we know from the PR that it's under AMAZING leadership! We'll see.
But it all SOUNDS SO GOOD! When it hits .0154, I'll start getting excited 🤪
You know I was kidding right? But, I was truly impressed that they squeezed all those superlatives into one press release.

Nowhere in what I wrote was there any indicia of a lack of appreciation for actual law enforcement. 😂On the contrary, I hold the profession, and all in pubic safety/emergency services, in extremely high regard.
Are you a Government Man? GMan = (FBI)
Been my nickname as long as I can remember. Lots of different kinds of G-men out there, and it can have more than one meaning, but asking if I'm one of those people might be the worst insult yet! 🤣 Retired - worked in government long enough to have a good idea how it works, and where and how to look for things.

RT, you're welcome, my pleasure, it's an interesting and constantly moving target. I do pop in to Reddit and read what's there, but posting multiple places takes too much time. I don't like to repeat something someone else has put up, so catching up with both every day is time consuming. Despite what some think, I'm not in this for credit or post counts, so really, feel free to repost if you're current on what's on there. The more eyes on this and the better educated all are about the opportunities and realities, the better for all of us. I bought more today.
No good - but thanks for that link. Looks like it just finds an archived version out in the wild but I can usually find those. This article just came out today. There's a free trial, but you have to email them to cancel and it's pricey if it doesn't get done.

Another reminder - from the FY24 NDAA - DoD now has multi-year and advance procurement authority for minerals. Does this mean NioCorp will benefit from this? Who knows? How many projects in Nebraska may make the U.S. a leading producer of scandium? Now that the Appropriations Bill has been signed, there's money to spend. FY24 ends 9/30 and money generally has to be spent or obligated in the same fiscal year it is appropriated. Connecting dots.

Has anyone asked those questions directly to any/or all of the team? If so, what have they said? If not, why not? Not a big fan of impending reverse splits but the EXIM LOI, the intense interest in critical minerals, and the history/geology and support of the governor sold me on it. I think there are more than two great opportunities out there.
The government cares about national security, secure supply chains, a desire to show they're winning for the American people, and they have deep pockets. While what happens with the fluctuating price of scandium isn't a huge concern, they have DARPA working on that. That's a pretty powerful combination. Today is not a year ago. The game has changed dramatically in a relatively short period of time.
I was in before the split so I get it. I prefer to look at the possibility rather than sit in the past. Like I said, we can agree to disagree.
We can agree to disagree. How many of the angry people that you know are trading on average 117.5k shares a day or averaging down? Active traders and new investors have no reason to dislike these numbers. It truly sucks that long term shareholders have to endure this. It does. Been there, got the shirt. That doesn't mean the future for NB isn't looking very good. The picture should be coming into much sharper focus over the next 3+ months.
The lack of a substantial bump for LAC on the $2.2 billion infusion is interesting but if this turns into a hold for 3+ years to get to production, OK. It happens.
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NB
I didn't say, "very few." I said, "in the minority," there's a difference. The noisiest unhappy people on this board have admitted they don't own shares. Whether they lie about that is on them, I go with what they post. I doubt anyone getting in at these levels is unhappy with the current performance, why would they be? There's a very good chance funding is coming, possibly within a few months, and that's what new investors are looking at. No one knows if an updated FS is necessary at this point. No one knows whether some funding to assist with the FS will come from a previously unknown source (DoD?). What we do know, unquestionably, is the unrelenting attention being given to this very issue by multiple departments in the government, the legislation that's been passed to facilitate it, the money that's been authorized to fund it, and the speed with which these opportunities have arisen, and that NioCorp is currently being considered to receive it.
Pretty sure "angry shareholders" are in the minority. Certainly seems the most upset folks aren't shareholders, by their own admission.
EXIM failing becomes less likely with each passing day, even as more pots of money appear at the end of the government rainbow across multiple Departments. If EXIM fails, possibilities could remain with Defense, Energy and now maybe even State. Some of those pots could even supplement success with EXIM in additional loans or even grants. The government has frequently, repeatedly and urgently stated its unwavering commitment to address critical mineral supply chain issues domestically. There are countless examples of them demonstrating that resolve by passing relevant legislation and funding projects. NioCorp and the Elk Creek Project sit squarely in the bulls-eye of that target. If you choose to not see any of that, that's clearly your prerogative. Who knows, this path may result in more favorable terms, with less dilution and debt, than previous opportunities. We'll see soon enough. The next 3.5 months of the FUTURE should be very interesting. The past is inconsequential at this point.
