wick i think you'll have your chance before friday. as cautionupahead observed http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=15944591
the mm's will probably work hard to avoid getting caught short, and will continually drive the price down after run ups. big volume will force the avg price up, forming an upward channel. the mm's will still be able to cover, and will therefore be acting somewhat predictably. good luck. last post today.
ot yeah i get crabby when i smell something fishy. throw 'em off the boat, i say, and fix the hole in the net. by yiminy....
hey i gotta quit posting so much. only 2 posts remaining.
mm's hammering it down on little sell vol. they can't hold it down forever. get some news, and the upper bollie will get hurt.
.0285 x .03 5 x 5
.031 x .032 it rocks it rolls it hoochie coo's haha
Andrea your deposit has to "clear", sorta like deposting a check. this only happens for pinks and bb's. a'trade doesn't trust anyone who trades this stuff.
brokestocker dumb asses use stop losses on pennies.
BB that or somebody put up a stop loss and mm's grabbed it.
aahhh what a great way to start the new trading year. good luck everyone. i guess my flipping days are over. only did it once (.004 to .020.)
nah, i'm up doing dd, dreaming of a successful fccn r/m. west coast tho...
5/10,000 of a dollar under the hod. dang. lol
HA the nose knows... .025 rock n roll
30 min all buys. i smell .025 coming. wish i had L2, and not just a'trade's b x a quote.
ot MrTrend i agree absolutely with your opinion of the trend, and we both know there's a lot of people who only see one indicator head neg or pos and use it, ignoring other overriding factors. the shape of this "hanging man" in particular was very close to a maribozu, but the definitions are quite clear cut. no system is perfect. if there were one, we might all be stinking rich. speaking of stinking rich, this thing's holding hod right nicely. now i really gotta get some sleep. took me 5 min to collect my thoughts and write this drivel...
ot happy new year to all here. be healthy, wealthy and wise - assed. i gotta go get some sleep. dream of retirement...
cashacct see link for expert opinion on candles. you and i were correct, apparantly...
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=15871006
ot Evil good idea thanks.
ot MrTrend i agree with you on the trend line and share your enthusiasm, but on the fine point of candlestick interpretation, i reckon its not always cut and dried, or black and white (sic). here's what stockcharts has to say:
Hammer and Hanging Man
Hammer and Hanging Man Candlestick example from StockCharts.com
The Hammer and Hanging Man look exactly alike, but have different implications based on the preceding price action. Both have small real bodies (black or white), long lower shadows and short or non-existent upper shadows. As with most single and double candlestick formations, the Hammer and Hanging Man require confirmation before action.
Hammer and Hanging Man Candlestick example from StockCharts.com
The Hammer is a bullish reversal pattern that forms after a decline. In addition to a potential trend reversal, hammers can mark bottoms or support levels. After a decline, hammers signal a bullish revival. The low of the long lower shadow implies that sellers drove prices lower during the session. However, the strong finish indicates that buyers regained their footing to end the session on a strong note. While this may seem enough to act on, hammers require further bullish confirmation. The low of the hammer shows that plenty of sellers remain. Further buying pressure, and preferably on expanding volume, is needed before acting. Such confirmation could come from a gap up or long white candlestick. Hammers are similar to selling climaxes, and heavy volume can serve to reinforce the validity of the reversal.
The Hanging Man is a bearish reversal pattern that can also mark a top or resistance level. Forming after an advance, a Hanging Man signals that selling pressure is starting to increase. The low of the long lower shadow confirms that sellers pushed prices lower during the session. Even though the bulls regained their footing and drove prices higher by the finish, the appearance of selling pressure raises the yellow flag. As with the Hammer, a Hanging Man requires bearish confirmation before action. Such confirmation can come as a gap down or long black candlestick on heavy volume.

comes down to "how long is long" i guess...
evil oh yeah i forgot. i usually fund, then buy nasdaq stocks, using some profit for nutso stuff.
ot bman are you aware of a'trade's electronic transfer feature? once set up, just deposit fund into your bank, then trot home and do the transfer. takes one day.
to set it up get on ameritrade home pg, click "portfolio and accounts"; "deposits and withdrawals", "bank set up", then follow procedure for setting up electronic (ACH) transfer. initially the set up will take a couple of days. there will be a couple of test transfers. hope this helps.
cash yr wlcm. some traders use candlestick indicators religiously, partially explaining this shake. btw the stockcharts "school" amounts to free education. reccomend exploring it. i'm still using it as ref.

cashacct99 it's technically a hanging man, indicator of a bearish reversal. requires further confirmation of trend. however, there's no whisker on the top. here's a link for a free education:

rats. got impatient. knew it would drop into the teens today...
just got a few @ .022. took 10 min to fill with .024 on ask.
legal what i like about this is their straightforward language in the pr. they come right out and say "preliminary talks", no fancy wording. and of course a proven existing business. refreshing after sljb, ipre, etc. good luck, i gotta get some sleep before my graveyard job. this could get me on the way to retirement...
legal yeah i'm nervous about waiting. it's all a gamble right now as far as timing a buy. great looking chart, great fundamentals. i got out last week at .020, got in at .004, so pretty happy so far.

i just looked at a chart edit link did'nt work
starting to get itchy to buy, despite my "plan". damn this thing looks good.
never fall in love with a stock never fall in love with a stock never
i'm out but watching this week, expecting tax loss selling to make things more unpredictable than usual. news this week will move it up. expecting to get in on friday for the great run after the 1st. good luck to all.
Jim merry christmas. x sljb pumper here. thanks for your ongoing realistic views on the pennies.
brokestocker this is turning into another typical stock specific board. you are getting caught up in a philosophical debate leading ultimately nowwhere. you could use your iggy button, or adopt jim bishop's cynicism (link: http://www.investorshub.com/boards/profile.asp?user=92
personally after my sljb (and other) experiences as a semi pumper myself, i'm just watching in the background. not much can be done to sway the inevitable direction of sentiment. look at the continuous rahrah posts on sljb, even now. in any case, merry christmas, and don't let it get to you.
gone 'til tuesday.
wick i can only hope...
cautionup let me butt in a moment. i agree this board isn't bad. yet. i see polarization starting. happens to almost every stock - specific board i've followed. pumpers vs bashers, hateful pm's etc. doesn't have to be this way. or maybe it does, human nature being what it is. guily myself, on occasion....
ok now i've REALLY gotta go, before i turn all philosophical.
brokestocker i agree, stock-specific boards tend to become overwhelmingly pumper driven. unfortunately the ugly side of people can come out with the anonymity of the web, and boards can become a total turn off. thanks for your reasoned consideration. if you haven't already seen the raging bull boards, it's worth a look just to see how bad people can get. best of luck to you and everyone else here. btw i'm flipping this one. the quantity i play with won't affect anyone's trading lol. back tomorrow to lurk.
brokestocker, despite your overwhelming rudeness, i gave you a personmark, fwiw. realism is a virtue in the penny world, but lighten up a little, huh?
from a former sljb believer lol
