That would be the cautions smart play.
Rita shut in some of those properties for more then a year. Not a thing the operators could do about either, day rates went through the roof, there was an extreme shortage of labor, materials and service equipment. And the third party gathering system repairs went very slowly due to all of the above. Some marginal wells where NEVER placed back into service. Although alot of well operators were willing, many pipeline operators couldn't justify the expense for just a few years use. MOSH is still paying abandonment costs on some of those wells. History sure does have a way of repeating itself.
I see we are back under.25 as predicted. Any upsets now in either the courts or with the Hurricane could drive this down under .12. I advise selling and getting back in at a lower price.
PXD will rise because it is a MID CAP energy play with OIL and GAS of which the MOSH properties area very SMALL and insignificant part. All energy issues should rise in a Hurricane play, along with Lumber, mobile home manufacturers etc. The trouble with the MOSH properties in this case, if they are damaged they may not come back on line for years or ever. Everything that remains is in a very small area. PXD will have to decide where do shareholders get better value, fixing up a declining property or Alaska's north Slope. If the remaining properties shut down, that means no more revenue stream to pay back the loan, cap wells, or to continue as a going concern. It will be finished.
If the site is damaged, that means no revenue, possibly for a good long time, repairs could take months, and some may rely on THIRD party pipelines, that quite possibly may never be replaced given the declining production. Then what? Right now no one knows what if any damage might occur, but this is one of those scenarios that could doom any hope of future production for MOSH.
Its gonna be a wild week and a wild weekend.
sleep tight MOSHERS
Are MOSH Offshore facilities in danger? Stay tuned, this one should be watched.

I love a good hurricane play, can MOSH become one? Only if you can short it, and finding a broker to let you do it is unlikely.
PXD should rise on this though.
Just trying to add a little balance, bad things DO happen and failure to take that into account usually means a lot of LOSS that some cannot afford. The board was hatched by those that firmly believe MOSH Holdings will win against MESA OFFSHORE TRUST and its operator PXD. But the evidence is far from conclusive and the principles on which the suit is based seem to have a few holes. It ain't over till it's over is all I am trying to point out. This is a lotto ticket, but it's not free, there is a cost to participate. There seems to be a steadfast denial and refusal to even discuss what might go WRONG and how to avoid it. There is no quick fix here as you may be lead to believe, it could go to appeal several times.
There is also a case pending in appeals court NOW that may undo the whole process! GLTA
Downward trend is clear for July 7th onward, where are all the buyers?
good morning to you, and about a month I would think.
They have turned the tables on the case by filing this appeal, MOSH is the defendant in this court(appeals). What a twist eh?
It's a separate court, and a totally separate case this appeal, they can submit or resubmit anything thats happened in the lower court.
Looks like the appeals court will bring an end to this, thanks for the post.
MOSH Holdings may have attempted to put one over on an inexperienced COUNTY COURT, but looking at this from a higher level, where the LAW and not a small town judges opinion rules, the appeals court should shut it it down at last.
My condolences if people are long here, but it looks like Pioneer has the upper hand once again. I don't see how anyone with a substantial number of shares will be able to unload them into the thin trading volume that now dominates MESA's day to day trading.
She should probably be removed at this point, it appears she has lost her objectivity in this case and has become biased. Lets hope the lawyers notice this so we can have a fair and unbiased trial if it happens to go to trial.
You should really compare MOSH (Mesa Offshore trust) to it's peers before deciding to really commit here, a good example would be PBT.
Happy tradeing.
What MOSH are you talking about Ron, I'm confused here? the Mesa Offshore Trust or MOSH Holdings ? some of the new people might not know.
Yes and it's an APPEALS court, PXD can appeal every reversal 3 times! And then file a new one. I hope they aren't backed up too many years.....Y A W N...
HI Freebie, nice to see you lurking here today my com padre!
I guess thats why it's up 17% today, pppffft
The whole energy sector is on fire this morning, I guess they'll buy anything........even MOSH without any real DD.
PXD has "guys with PhD's" too thats nothing special here.

What a TWIST! This gets better all the time, back and forth it goes, where it stops no one knows. At least it's interesting.
yeah! It become a lotto ticket just like this, whats the difference between our holdings and hopes?
What makes anyone think the decision on this petition will be a SHORT process, and if MOSH HOLDINGS WINS it won't be APPEALED??? I never expected this type of move from PXD's attorneys, but I gotta give them points for style, take it to a higher court, where you can appeal the decision and delay things a long time while waiting for it to be heard. Brilliant!!!
Our court system is wonderfully intricate animal, with endless loopholes and exploits for a skilled attorney or LAW FIRM. If you got the cash they are willing to find the proper delay mechanism. I wonder how many appeals and courts they can bounce this through before it absolutely has to go back to Houston? Any thoughts from you legal eagles?
Have a nice day or decade......
I have reset my trade alarm to .23 I will be back when MOSH reaches that point.
have a nice day
My profound apologies sir, it appeared you were asking me a question.
The debt is irrelevant, I'm loading up on it, the breakup value after the all debts are paid off is $2. It looks like another lotto ticket, you know the type!
Imagine that!! looks like some folks my be bailing based on the latest trading activity. .25 was a given.
You made a great decision on this CASH, good luck. this is one of those key dates.
All you negative posters gonna find out today. Welcome to the credibility check for SCU. It reports today. I say the report will be welcomed by traders and Investors alike and SCU will trade UP on the news tomorrow. I say guidance will tell us we will be showing a Profit from continuing operation next quarter, possibly even this quarter. When she pops this stock will add an extra digit to my net worth, I'm counting on it.
It is quite possible this is the last day SCU trades below $1.00
Mark it
SCU reports today!!! Probably after hours, the consensus among those who trade it is they will report they are in or very to close to being in the black. In all probability this is the last day SCU will trade below $1.00.
You can find a full discussion on that at Yahoo SCU board.
Do you own DD but be quick about.
Happy Trading
EARNINGS ALERT! SCU reports after hours TODAY or MONDAY! place your bets!
No mention in the latest Financial Statement either, nothing in the outlook portion either, you would think they would have to say something if they believed it to be detrimental to the outlook.

This is why I enjoy this board so much....It wasn't me Matt....Sorry. It is quite funny though......
No mention of MOSH and no questions from MOSHERS asked on the PXD conference call.
I suggest you start a board for it. spoke too soon, I suggest you take your story here http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=7107 there is already a board for that and I'm sure they would love to hear your view.
Good Luck

That make absolutely perfect sense, MOSH doesn't belong in PXD's books and vise versa. Thats how business is usually done under these circumstances, what is the point of that statement?
it now trades under AMGG.pk looks like it crashed from a high of .40 to it's current price of .008. These things happen all the time in Risky Penny stocks, such is life.
Happy Trading.
I can't get a quote or current info on RGNO so I couldn't tell you. MOSH sold for .12 most of it's miserable life so most unit holders would turn a profit right now, IF THEY COULD UNLOAD INTO THIS THIN VOLUME. Which is unlikley.
More sleezier?????
That is a TRUE STATEMENT ! I cannot argue that point, however the judge has already visited this and DENIED the trustees to step down, The COURT said no not I, so why the big point?
