Probably nothing other than it appears that Microsoft may recognize NEOM as the leading barcode/optical code recognition company OCR?
We are for sale -- right?

Streetstylz, this may not be new (not sure) but alot of Gavitec information can be found on the Omniprime website
http://www.omniprime.net/about.html
http://www.omniprime.net/services.html
WHO IS OMI
Is the SOLE DISTRIBUTOR AND the only licensee to use the GAVITEC SYSTEM in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. They are also licensed to franchise the use of the system to other content providers and direct merchants for whatever service applications they may need it for.
Omniprime is now poised to be at the forefront of this revolution by introducing new technology in the country that merges telecommunications and commerce
Which brought some people to pose this question: “Can I make purchases or pay my bills through my cellular phone?”
Enter Gavitec, a German company that specializes in designing and manufacturing adaptive, user-friendly, high-quality code readers, as well as full service solutions to fit specific client applications.
With this partnership and the exclusive use of these systems, Omniprime creates and provides unique and cutting-edge mobile and wireless solutions that suit any business application that it is specifically designed for.Their approach is to provide customers the freedom of making secured online transactions through the use of their cellular phones. By linking with them through IT and other wireless integrated solutions they are able to provide consumers access to products and services from various industries such as: finance, media/entertainment, transportation, retail, etc. The technologies are now in place that makes the integration possible, allowing all of these available at the touch of a button.
This allows registered users the convenience of making transactions at any time and anywhere with the use of their cellular phones. The transactions are secured and instantaneous. After each transaction, the user receives a confirmation of the transaction and a secure 2-D Bar Code. The user then goes to the specified establishments that house the Gavitec code readers and have their cellphones scanned. The code reader will then print out a ticket that they can use to claim the purchased product or service, and serve as their BIR approved receipt of purchase.
m-payment

Mobile payment utilized the mobile phone at the point-of-sale instead of using credit or debit cards. This provides an unparalleled shopping experience combining ease with flexibility.
The customer goes shopping and uses the mobile phone to pay for a product or service to make transactions. There is no need to carry a purse or wallet. A personalized and unique (Data Matrix) 2D bar code is generated by the bank for user recognition. When paying for something, the customer shows the idenfication code on the mobile phone to the Gavitec hardware reader.
The code is scanned and the customer's personal information transferred to bank to request payment permission. After validation, the payment is accepted and shoppings completed!
m-avail

Lavasphere code reading software broadens mobile phone applications and opens up new business fields such as mobile availability verification, price comparison, product information, data collection, online shopping, and more.
The customer browses through a conventional paper-based catalogue and sees a bar-coded advertised travel destination. Using the Lavaspere application on his mobile phone, the code is scanned and a direct connection to the travel agent made. Up-to-date availability information can be requested immediately, anytime and anywhere.
Yeah still pickin up a few got some yesterday at .0025 up 20% so far on those:) The offer for yours is off the table btw!
Using shares to aquire the three companys indicated as aquisition targets in PR from last week? It's possible that the asset base is growing with the share count!
I kinda like the idea of posting news on the website first. Gives those with a vested interest first chance to react since presumably most read this board. So long as the company follows up with a newswire release within a few days, I see it as a win situation for I-hub readers. Now bring on the BIG news in the same format cause I'm loadin the magazine and gettin ready to pull the trigger! GLTA
It would only be 1,000,000 if this was to run to say .10 and they would also need to cover the previously shorted at some point. The game can work both ways. Who's got a hundred grand to make it happen?
Oops forgot to add the 15% discount
1,176,000 shares
We are a lot closer to the begining of the process than the end, I'll repost this link again for the last time. I'ts not time for an appeal, look at the flowchart (scroll down) and understand where NEOM is in the process. Take the time to see how many opportunities for the PTO to rule in NEOM's favor, It only takes one and it's over. Relax, execution of a business plan is what will make or break NEOM. GLTUA

Well, I'm for sure not the seller :)
This is probably the "huge" news promised for this week. No connection to NEOM that I can see.
"I am about to leave for Ireland and some huge news from me is coming this week!"

(edited to add) hmmm link does'nt seem to work from here google al gore investment portfolio and you will find the article im refering to. Here's a piece of it.
As it turns out, there are enough sustainability-focused companies out there to fill Generation's fund portfolio. Generation's assets under management have quadrupled over the past year and now stand at about $1 billion.
Gore: Carbon-free electricity in 10 years doable
No mention of Hydrogen but a groundswell of change in the way electricity is generated is well underway and unstopable IMO

Anyone know if the Scanbuy case has been stayed again or where to find that information? Last I knew it had been stayed to July 15th if I recall correctly.
What does this means for marketers in China?
Beijing 2008 is predicted to see record levels of growth in digital media. According to the latest figures issued by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) the number of Chinese netizens has exceeded 210 million. Neo@Ogilvy, the Ogilvy Group’s digital marketing arm, expects online spending to reach RMB 17.2 million — an increase of 62 percent from 2007.
China is as vast and diverse as Europe. However, the nationwide fever and excitement stirred up by the Olympics is evident across the whole country. Marketers in China can therefore think “big” when focusing campaigns around the Olympics.

Howdy folks, new to this board, took a starter position in this stock today and plan to add more if the picture gets clearer. I have included a link that I found to be very interesting, as it relates to the alternative energy discussion. Not exactly on topic but it is very thought provoking. Takes awhile but watch all the videos and rest assured you have invested in the future by buying into the alternative energy sector.

Lots of places on those diagrams where a favorable ruling may occur, and that will end it. EFF has no right to appeal :)
Management needs to place their confidence in their competent lawyers and meanwhile continue to focus on the business plan.
They have 60 days from the mailing date to respond which was 7/3 so response due by 9/3.
I will repost this link. Scroll down to the flow charts to see where this puts us in the reexam process. NEOM has 2 month to respond to the non final action then its USPTO's turn again. This may drag on for years!!

OgilvyOne signs NeoMedia for new new@ogilvy in Malaysia
by: Bena Roberts Friday, July 4th, 2008
NeoMedia Technologies, the global leader in camera-initiated barcode transactions for mobile devices, today announced that OgilvyOne Worldwide has deployed two of NeoMedia's innovative mobile products: NeoReader (barcode scanning application) and NeoSphere (code management platform) for the launch of neo@ogilvy , its integrated digital and direct media company in Malaysia. The launch has been planned and managed by Rezonanze, NeoMedia's strategic partner in Asia and a leading interactive branding and marketing consultancy.
For the launch of its new division neo@ogilvy in Malaysia, OgilvyOne Worldwide invited brands and advertisers to attend a special reception. The OgilvyOne invitation featured a 2D barcode that linked to neo@ogilvy WAP pages. By scanning the code with their camera phones, attendees were able to preview the neo@ogilvy profile on their mobile phones. The NeoReader, NeoMedia's 2D barcode scanning application, was used to capture the codes and instantly deliver the multimedia information about OgilvyOne's new division on mobile phone displays.
"This project clearly points out the significant advantages our technology brings to the advertising and marketing industry" says Iain McCready, CEO of NeoMedia Technologies , and continues "with the NeoReader, marketers are able to address specific targeted audience segments with precise response measurement".
What we think?
OgilvyOne is huge. It is a real shame that this is in Malaysia only - any type of worldwide deployment would be great for Neom. But this is a giant step in the right direction and media players, agencies must be NeoMedia's target market moving forward.
I will try to talk to Iain next week to get some more information.

Ditto that!! keep the faith!
3 mil + and lookin for more -- shareholder since 2003
If you decide that sell is the right option, I'll take all you have at .003!
Buy sell or hold -- Its your choice!!
I'm with you Elliot,
Here's the way I see it.
Deals lead to revenue.
Revenue leads to cash flow break even.
Cash flow break even leads to the end of dilution.
Cash flow breakeven and more deals (yes I know presumptive on my part) leads to cash flow positive.
Cash flow positive leads to debt reduction and improved financing.
Cash flow positive and improved financing leads to profitability.
Profitability leads to business expansion.
Business expansion and improving profitability leads to flexibility and investor interest.
Sustained and improving profitability leads to positive EPS.
Positive and improving EPS leads to continuing PPS appreciation.
Sustained and improving PPS appreciation leads to additional investor interest.
Sustained and improving profitability also leads to intensified aquisition interest in the future of mobile marketing.
Aquisition interest in a profitable and expanding cutting edge technology company fuels the pps to previously unthought of levels.
Previously unthought of levels of pps leads to very very very happy investors that kept the faith as they were "going through hell", and all the while refusing look back on the belief that they "might get out before the devil even knew they were there"!! (.0035/share).
Dont look back and wish you were not accumulating this stock at .0035/share. If you do I for one will not want to hear it.
Patents? Patents, we dont need no stinkin patents!! Give me a solid business plan and expanding revenue and I'm happy. (favorable patent rulings don't hurt)
Elliot, I'm with you sleep well and have a great 4th 2008. Looking forward to July 4 2009.
I am interpreting information within those links to mean that a non-final action may also find all claims to be patentable and I certainly hope that is the case!! Have we heard of "Neosphere" before Streets posting? Have a Great 4th

I found this to be helpful to understand the flow of the reexam process. FWIW
Why do you think Dr. Steinborn is excusing himself from NEOM if not to separate the management of the two companies?
Sounds to me like Gavitec is for sale with an asking price of around $200,000,000. Equates to roughly $.18 per outstanding share, pays off YA and leaves a nice little warchest for NEOM.
Have I lost my mind or does anyone else read it that way?
Wow!! up 20% today, only 7 more in a row like that and we'll be back above a penny.
SHRN up 207%
SHRN moving on volume
Some would say that gap "needed" to be filled.
