New Media Group Holdings Limited is a Hong Kong-based local publisher principally engaged in the publication and marketing of Chinese-language weekly magazines, and the sale of advertising spaces in those magazines primarily in Hong Kong. The Company publishes five flagship Chinese-language magazines in Hong Kong, four of which are lifestyle magazines, including Weekend Weekly, New Monday, Oriental Sunday, Fashion & Beauty, and the remainder is Economic Digest, which is focused on investment and finance. The contents of the magazines published by the Company have two distinctive central themes: lifestyle, and investment and finance. Apart from the Magazines, the Company also publishes books, and distributes through third-party distributors in Hong Kong. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, it published 41, 69, 84 and 26 titles of books respectively, covering areas of interests in fictions, self-improvement psychology, investment and finance, and biography and entertainment.
