Patience is key here. If you check the last run, they released the q1 financials on May 15th and the big spike in PPS came after the PR about the report on the 25th of May.
The right eyes will see this with time.
There have been multiple emails from kay, separate emails from a few different posters on here where Kay states that Microsoft was a one time payment. That was argued by several different people but the numbers indicate that the emails seem to be telling the truth.
But didn't kay also confirm that they wouldn't take on any more debt? That's a serious question.
How can anyone here justify $58,000 in revenue costing $2,000,000?
People must be getting excited for the financials!
It's definitely coming
Very good sign. Last quarter looked great. Expect similar things this quarter. Very very undervalued
Doesn't seem like many people are willing to sell...should be fun for the next couple weeks!
We all know it's not
anyone have level 2 that can tell us if this is an MM on the wall or not?
We are on the same page then. If there is an initial win at trial, I think it's a safe assumption that MOST of us with shares at these levels will have taken our prize regardless of if Chanbond actually sees the court awarded money or not.
A company like Cisco who has the funding will without a doubt appeal and appeal until they can't anymore.
I love when you bring up VHC. I realize that they have not been paid yet and it continues to go through appeals. But do you realize what would happen to the PPS here if they won a trial for 625 million? Regardless of any appeals, the run on the news of a ruling like that would leave some of us longs very, very, well off...
Cisco did this in the IPR and the PTAB sided with Chanbond. It's the same argument in the appeal that they lost with in the first round.
Thank you for this. Definitely worth the read.
After reading it I find it odd that Cisco is arguing about the fact that Chanbond is not specific enough with the term "channel" saying that it is too broad to just assume it include RF channels. However, at the same time they argue that Tidemann's patent, which should render Chanbond's invalid should be assumed to include more than just voice data, even though the entire patent is based around voice data.
They are arguing that Chanbond's patent is too broad and should be more specific, but that Tidemann's patent, which is very specific, should just be assumed to include more types of data than the patent is centered around, without any mention of any other data besides voice data.
I'm no lawyer, but that doesn't seem like a sound argument to me.
I think it's more of the latter...
That's where you sold last time before it ran to .015 lol
Nope, I've seen it. And when the sales are still horrendous you'll say "oh well mark said second half and we aren't there yet". The CEO does a fantastic job of inspiring hope.
Exactly. This kind of stuff happens before every single fin so the longs can have a reason to not panic about the horrendous sales.
They aren't even close
I actually remember you pointing out a ton of red flags in their financials, exited right around .02 before their quarterly report came out and showed absolutely no improvement just as you and surfkast had predicted. There were some other details as well but it's not for this board. I did well on that ticker as I assume you and many others did as well
Typo, meant .025 not .015
You mean when SFOR settled and the pps went from low trips to .015 on only a 9 million dollar settlement? With about 10x the float that UOIP has.
After reading the latest court document it didn't seem to me that there was some obvious way of knowing that cisco has us on the ropes. In fact, it looked like they were just using the exact same defense to a new set of judges hoping for a different result. The PPS is just people being impatient. Never forget the famous Warren Buffett quote....
I'm just taking the information you're providing and trying to add more to it with some proof to back it up. Would love for the board to get back to talking about the case instead of arguing about who has how many shares and all these outrageous claims with no substance to back it up. Keep up the good work!
If you look at the PR's about the first IPR loss from Cisco, it shows that they already tried this defense.
"The PTAB concluded that the term “RF channel” as used in the ‘679 patent “does not include code channels – for example data streams created by CDMA– but instead refers only to frequency bands, such as those created by FDMA.”
Cisco tried the exact same argument in this appeal. I don't think that is going to work out too well for them.
Please show me where I said it would be done quickly. You might have me confused with someone else.
I agree. Looks very good here
It's definitely more than 1000
I understand your point here. However, 2 of the 3 cases you gave me are still ongoing so you clearly haven't seen them all the way through...
I'm very familiar with it. I, myself hope that UOIP suffers a similar fate. I imagine the PPS here would react fairly well to a jury awarding over half a billion dollars to UOIP. Are you trying to imply that VirnetX will never get paid?
correction to my previous post,
Cisco paid Tivo the 490 million not the other way around
Marvell Vs CMU: Marvell settles for 750 mil
Cisco Vs Tivo: Tivo settles for 490 mil
RIM (maker of blackberry) vs. NTP: Rim settles for 612 mil
There are many more but you get the idea
Can you provide an example of a case where this happens? I've been looking around for about an hour now and can't find a specific example.
You would think since he has his Series 7 he would know a RS works, but apparently not lol
you don't like money?
You should read the court documents. I don't think the US Patent Office or the judge in charge of this case are on IHUB lol you can probably trust them
This is very accurate. A quick google search of cisco settlements and you can find several companies that they settled with for patent infringement. The DD here is unbelievable
are you aware of what year it is lol
Looks like I knew where this was going as well! We will find out tomorrow! I'm excited to add a boatload
Not giving up at all! I'm extremely confident in the overall outcome for this. I just feel like a lot of people here expect to see something today or tomorrow and if that does not come on this specific update there will be some panic. I'd be happy to get some more cheap shares but I don't think any shareholder wants to see their shares lose value.
