45 million.
Thanks for the explanation. I guess in this game everyone does have a price. I know I do. Didn't someone else say to cover and not lose any money they'd take it to say $5 to short more so they could then cover when they drive it back down to $1?
ok I realize that.
But let me rephrase what I'm curious about then.
What if 100% of the float that is locked up by longs is completely unavailable (longs won't sell til the buyout even if the pps is $50 or $100) and the MMs can't cover since only NSS are floating around?
Like the groups that you mentioned have over 100% of the float locked up. What are the MMs going to cover with if real shares aren't for sale?
Like that one post that someone used as an example where there was that investor that had 100% of the outstanding shares in cert and nothing much happened to remove the NSS.
Not a cash cow since there's no cash flow to investors.
Ever read/hear about the cattle ranch vs dairy farm to capital gains vs cash flow comparison?
I'm ok with the capital gains. And we all know that the cows need to be fattened a whole lot more than they currently are! None of us want to slaughter our currently skinny cows.
What I'm not clear on is since Lowman has already accounted for roughly 140% of the float, what is it that Wilshire would be buying?
I was interested in what Big Ugly looks like and I'll share the results from google. Interesting to know some of the equipment that Hemi owns.
a page of them.

Is the bad weather now affecting both Montgomery and Woodson counties? It sure is soggy here in Ft Worth. I remember the May 1st spud date for the one lease and the weather put that behind schedule. Then they decided to move to Montgomery and then there was rumors of drilling and reworking in the last week and now the weather is bad again. But is it both and more delays? They don't seem that far apart.
Was there an AH trade for Friday?
I saw the post for the 30K one on Thursday but nobody posted for Friday.
You're not the only one that offered to help update it for free. I haven't received a response but understand they are busy.
add 0.307%
a little less than a third of a percentage point for me. I have 153,500 shares.
Sorry I can't PM you back and you don't have your email on your profile but yes, it is a reliable source and it is more than double the 17 sq miles. So it is more than 34.
The only questions for me are how long until they secure it all in Woodson? and once they are done, are they then going to show us the woodson cards or are they going to say they have to wait until Montgomery is done?
they said they would be doubling the footprint before they mentioned the 17 square miles. Yet from what I've heard, that's just under half of what they are really trying to get. So it might take awhile depending on how fast they can more than double the 17 square miles. But if they are mainly using cash, they must have a nice stash or decent oil production or both. With the weather drying out it'll be nice to hear about more drilling so they can increase the oil and cash.
I know you're waiting for numbers to come as is everyone else however I doubt it will happen soon. As far as rumors go, the 17 square miles isn't quite half of what they want and are going after. Don't know how long it will take to secure the next leases. I sure hope it's soon. Maybe they will drill soon and distract the forum for awhile.
Here's a copy and paste from that link.

I'm in Texas. You want me to go to the stockyards and take pics? There have already been some posted on here. Maybe a small road trip to Graham? Kansas is a bit far for a day trip but there's been recent pictures of Kansas already too...
Has the amount of the prepurchased oil loan been discussed? I thought I remembered it to be $10M or maybe I'm wrong.
The end of next week? Don't you mean the beginning of the 3rd quarter since the PR said they should have something by the end of the 2nd? Expect to at least if every has gone according to their schedule.
Here's the sorted results I found...

How about phrasing it like this Jagman?
2 ways for Hemi to make money. Capital Gains/assets and cash flow. We know they have both, we just don't know how much exactly and they aren't telling right now so the pps suffers until they do let the cat out of the bag.
Does that sound about right?
That was in a book I recently read. Talking about playing with free money from the house as investors like to do.
"1. Invest money into an asset using accelerators.
2. Get the original investment money back (exit strategy).
3. Keep control of the original asset.
4. Move the money into a new asset.
5. Get the investment money back.
6. Repeat the process."
Of course on this site it's just labeled as getting your seed money out.
Hindsight is nice to see that I could have tripled my hmgp share count with the highs and now lows. However fear and greed blind from most smart investing. And most in hmgp that post regularly here don't want to risk losing ground in trying that strategy.
I noticed that this PR was mainly just a restatement/clarification of Monday's PR. Also I noticed that it was posted by John Kelly at an early hour instead of Jim McBeth with Stock Information Systems. Also JK's was from PR Newswire and SIS uses BusinessWire.
Does this mean that JK will be doing the PRs now and they will no longer be using SIS? Was John Kelly just throwing out a test to start doing it all in house?
How about another analogy?
Dilution is adding water only to the koolaid without more sugar or flavor therefore diluted with water. Weaker.
But using insignificant amounts of newly issued restricted shares is like adding more sugar or flavor to the koolaid therefore making it stronger and more valuable.
I know it's a poor comparison but at least it makes it simple.
The shares are being used as an investment and paying more back to the company with the additional potential for O&G profits.
So they expect to finish leasing in Woodson at the end of this month? or is that what's on the immediate horizon but more later? Since after they finish leasing, then they should be able to drill and announce new well production. :) and the non-oilpatch investors can understand those numbers.
Don't we already know the main points of the Wilshire deal? Pre-purchased oil/gas to help accelerate the Hemi business plan. Money today for oil/gas tomorrow. "I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today." LOL I thought this was already covered but I don't want to have to go through every message since I only have the free membership and can't use the advanced search. But then again, the details of the possible uplisting haven't been disclosed.
I'd prefer news about the gas wells. Since that adds to the bottom line and the Wilshire news is still potential at this point. At least until Hemi starts working the $$ and putting the plan into action.
Someone was saying how it wasn't and still isn't on yahoo but when I searched google I found it on yahoo but it still isn't attached to hmgp.

When will it show up in the news under HMGP?
mbezdek -> wilshirecapitaltexas <- com
You're really reaching now. Try again Jagman.
I didn't say they only catered to sophisticated or accredited investors. I was only giving examples of why a company wouldn't have a website in this day and age. To answer and provide a rebuttal to your banter.
I didn't compare them with berkshire. Only providing an example of a huge $$$ company that barely even has a website. No show on berkshire's website. Again, only a response to your banter.
All the Hemi and Wilshire issues/questions will be sorted out and the information will come out. Not a big deal. Just wait for it.
Plus, if you're in the business of only catering to sophisticated or accredited investors, you don't need to advertise to the rest of the world.
Another example of someone that wouldn't have a website if it weren't required to easily get information to the investors is berkshirehathaway.com. Doesn't even have a logo or anything but text.
the wilshire.com one looked more applicable than the real estate wilshirecapital.com site.
I called the Santa Monica office of wilshire.com and the receptionist stated there was no affiliate office in Dallas, TX. But then again, I don't believe that receptionists have 100% working knowledge of everything that goes on in the business they work at. Just like the people that have called jesuplamont and their receptionists don't know anything about Wilshire Capital Group in Dallas. We'll just have to wait for those people that have talked to Bezdek to post some links of information that can be confirmed. I work business hours and probably won't be able to talk to Mike but hopefully he'll reply to my email.
There was a good quote I saw the other day something like "Worry is nothing less than the misuse of imagination"
Looks like Mike has been there since 2005 when he made this forum post.

why not? Because chart patterns are interpreted by the person doing the interpretation. Based more on opinion than fact or principle. I didn't think it was but I'm not an expert so I was hoping for someone that could explain better than I to come along and help out instead of what the thread turned into. Thanks duelittle2.
No kidding it's not the type of security. That's why I posted a question. I was trying to get someone else to post some good information to clarify or debunk the original post.
If you're going to ignore, do it already instead of threats.
LOL. I like this part:
"You remember yesterday less than 24 hours ago, how negative people were? The company is selling shares, insiders are selling shares, the sky is falling, blah blah blah, fear feeding on fear... just business as usual in the office, like I said so much of this negativity was baseless, but fear does that."
Doesn't a DCB need a gap? There's no gap in the hemi chart that I can see. I need to fully read the DCB chapter in my encyclopedia of chart patterns instead of just flipping through it.
My other sell doesn't settle until Monday so I'll be ok if it slides a bit... Didn't like the sideways for 2 years ESPP anyway. LOL
What do you mean transfer the shares to Wilshire? As in they will be the brokerage and my etrade account will be empty? Or just the paper certs will be in Wilshire's tally?
I heard the same thing. Wilshire Capital Group in Dallas or something. I've got a name and number to call but waiting for the person who told me to get a call back and then relay the results. Something about possibly financing the drilling of a lot of new wells. To reduce the time it'll take Hemi to get there on their own. But why would they want to talk to shareholders of 100k or more? Is there going to need to be a shareholder vote or something? Isn't the float the minority? I haven't verified anything, just a complete rumor at this point but at least I'm not the only one who has heard it.
"I'm trying to ignore the sunshine and butterfly posts and pay attention to the technicals...." LMAO!
But as far as the chart goes, it's the nature of stocks and more, dips and peaks. It can't go up everyday.
