ARE YOU HIGH?
Same dumbass was in charge of Twatter when it lost over 20 billion dollars in value, and it still hasn't recovered.
How many billions has Tesla lost since Muskrat's SEC filing on 4/4/22? (the high was $383.30 that day).
It's gotta be the rose-colored glasses that's preventing shareholders from seeing that flood of red ink on their books.
Either that or the Cult-Aid.
Where'd you get that from?
Not from the deaths tracker.
I mistyped the running total for 2023 - it's 69, not 59.
But I spotted 3 more - between the end of 2021 & start of 2022 there are three 2023 deaths listed out of order. That makes 72 this year unless there are more I didn't see.
By this time last year there were 75, so we're right on track.
For the record, that list only contains deaths that were "reported" (whatever that means).
Of course, not all those deaths happened to people in Teslas, many were struck by Teslas - such as #327: Tesla hits ejected motorcyclist.
Woodsn't you? 🤪
According to the Tesla death tracker, there have been 59 Tesla deaths so far this year.
There were just 38 in the first six months of 2023.
If the numbers stay consistent, the total will be lower for 2023 than 2022, despite the larger number of vehicles on the road.
4 attacks in a row on 4 different boards
1.
It was pumped today.
Another outlandish claim with no evidence to support it.
What false promises, pray tell?
There wasn't a single promise made in that article, but there was photographic evidence of equipment that is currently in place and ready for production.
Isn't it interesting how you turn a blind eye to ALL the false promises (and there were a lot of them) made by Tesla's CEO (who is currently under investigation and on trial for some of those false promises)
Promises of a Fuglytruck were made years before it emerged.
False promises of a Tesla driving itself from L.A. to NYC have been made since 2016, but that goal still hasn't been achieved.
So?
AI doesn't take into account things like the CEO being under multiple investigations that could each lead to criminal charges.
AI doesn't take into account things like the multitude of lawsuits the company is facing.
AI is far from perfect, and can be deadly.
Jealous much?
Wish you got paid for doing what I do? So do I - I wish I got paid for posting this shit.
That's one reason many Americans won't buy EVs.
Apps may help you find chargers, but there's no guarantee they'll work when you get there, or that other vehicles aren't blocking access.
You don't need apps to find gas stations, or to pay for gas.
Toyota reveals next-gen EV production line
As it looks to make up for lost time, Toyota is giving us a glimpse of its next-gen EV production line with modern technology like Giga casting, self-propelled assembly lines, and robots to transport finished vehicles.
One of the biggest highlights was its Giga casting technology, a process Tesla introduced at its Fremont factory in 2020.
Toyota also emphasized its self-propelled EV production lines. The technology was developed using sensor technology from autonomous driving to enable “sizable travel at low speeds.” Using self-propelled lines, Toyota can reduce the need for conveyor equipment, a major cost associated with manufacturing.
Toyota also introduced a three-part modular structure consisting of the vehicle’s front, center, and rear to enhance work efficiency and further reduce complexity.
Facing a labor shortage, the automaker showed off its Vehicle Logistics Robot (VLR), designed to improve vehicle transportation at the finished vehicle yard.
Marriott taps EV Connect as charger provider, countering Hilton’s recent alliance with Tesla
Hospitality group Marriott International has announced an agreement with charging services provider EV Connect to implement and manage chargers across thousands of hotels in the US and Canada. The news comes weeks after Hilton Hotels announced a similar agreement with Tesla.
Marriott International is a hotel group consisting of 31 different brands that make up over 8,500 properties across 139 different territories around the globe.
According to details from EV Connect today, it has been selected by Marriott as the hotel group’s preferred charger provider for the US and Canada through its own namesake platform.
The veteran company will enable turnkey charging solutions to 6,000 qualifying hotels under the Marriott umbrella in which those locations can choose their ideal hardware and scale as needed. The EV Connect platform will provide consultation, installation, maintenance, and software support.
e hospitality industry. In early September, Hilton Hotels announced a deal with Tesla to deploy over 20,000 Universal Wall Connectors across 20,000 locations – building upon a relationship that dates back to 2017.
With chargers soon rolling out across the Marriott network as well, EV drivers should be emboldened to take more road trips without having to stress as much about where to replenish overnight.
Bluesky sees record signups day after Muskrat says X will go paid-only
Would you pay to use X, the platform formerly known as Twitter? Apparently, all of these new Bluesky users don't seem so keen to do so.
Bluesky, the "decentralized" X-alternative social media platform, just had its biggest influx of new users ever on Tuesday. This happened just one day after Elon Musk made headlines during a livestream with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he plans to charge all of X's users a "small monthly payment" to use the platform.
As of 2:40pm ET, more than 42,000 new users have joined Bluesky, making Tuesday, September 19, the biggest signup day yet for the currently invite-only platform that launched earlier this year. At publishing time of this article, Bluesky had 1,113,820 users in total.
It's impossible to know whether Musk's comments about charging users to post on X really played a role in this, but it almost certainly had some effect.

Buh bye old Twatter
same as in your the only one here talking to yourself, must be very lonely, guess you still get paid?
Hey cat doo doo you're the only one talking to me, you must be even lonelier - and not getting paid.
FYI it's spelled "you're."
DOJ is investigating Elmo's Tesla perks
US prosecutors are looking at perks Tesla may have offered Elon Musk, including a proposed glass house, as part of a criminal investigation.
The sweeping probe by Manhattan federal prosecutors into Tesla’s use of company funds suggest they are pursuing potential criminal charges.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York is closely examining personal benefits the electric carmaker may have given its chief executive.
Musk, the richest man in the world, famously does not draw a cash salary from Tesla but is compensated in stock options.
But prosecutors are investigating whether Tesla properly disclosed any perks Musk might have received in his role, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The investigation includes a proposed house for the billionaire known as “Project 42”.
Plans for the structure suggested it would be “an expansive glass building” near Tesla’s Austin-based headquarters, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Musk has stated there is no glass house “built, under construction or planned”, joking “metaphors don’t count”.
A separate civil investigation into the project is also underway, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Federal regulations require perks or personal benefits for company executives exceeding $10,000 to be disclosed.
Things like housing allowances, planes, tuition fees for offspring can all be considered personal benefits.
Company transactions above $120,000 in which an executive has a material interest must also be reported.

🤡 ROFLMFAO 🤡
But you're not.
That's called turbulence - look it up.
Suddenly the plane starts shaking. Then the plane drops like a rock. Your stomach leaps into your throat. But there’s no storm outside, not even clouds. What’s going on?
This clear-air turbulence, as it’s called, is caused by patches of air swirling chaotically within the world’s jet streams—strong air currents that circle the globe from west to east and that we see on weather maps as wide, wavy lines that bend around low- and high-pressure centers. Airlines like to fly within these bands of fast-moving air to boost speeds and reduce travel times if the bands are near enough to the flight’s desired direction. The swirls, invisible to the eye, batter a plane’s wings. And when the battering is strong enough, it jerks the plane up or down. Passengers freeze, and flight attendants stumble. Over the past four decades clear-air turbulence has increased by up to 55 percent in various regions around the world. Models predict another 100 to 200 percent increase over the next 30 to 60 years.

I trust WSJ more than Lying Elmo.
Lying Elmo said Tesla’s new self-driving system could be good enough to road trip from Los Angeles to New York by the end of 2017.
Quarter? You mean year?
According to Litchfield it happened almost a year ago.
Proven right again.
While the pumpers, who still have faith in the con artists, have been wrong for years.
Turkey wants one too.
Turkish President Asks Elon Musk to Consider Tesla Factory in Turkey
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has formally requested Tesla CEO Elon Musk to consider building a Tesla manufacturing facility in Turkey, according to Turkey’s communications directorate.
The request was made during a meeting at Turkish House, a skyscraper near the United Nations in New York. Erdogan is in the U.S. to attend the 78th session of the U.N. General Assembly, reports Reuters.
Musk indicated that Turkey is among the key candidates for Tesla’s next factory, citing existing collaborations with many Turkish suppliers. Back in April of this year, Tesla launched the Model Y in Turkey.
During the meeting, Erdogan also expressed Turkey’s willingness to collaborate on artificial intelligence and Starlink, Musk’s satellite internet venture under SpaceX. Musk stated that SpaceX is interested in working with Turkish authorities to secure the necessary licenses to offer Starlink services in Turkey.
Erdogan extended an invitation to Musk to attend the Turkish aerospace and technology festival, Teknofest, in Izmir at the end of September. Musk accepted the invitation and expressed his intent to attend.
LOL - calling yourself a short! 😁
It's like you knew what was coming.
Perhaps Morgan Stanley is the blind one?
I told you Thursday that "According to 29 stock analysts, the average 12-month stock price forecast for Tesla stock is $249.52"
But you think the forecast of ONE analyst outweighs 29 others?
Why? Because that ONE analyst told you what you wanted to hear?
High-tech cars might be more trouble than they’re worth
Cars in the current generation can be pricier to repair, harder to understand and operate and, some experts in the field say, more likely to cause distraction and driver disengagement.
Beyond higher repair costs, drivers often end up dissatisfied with the high-tech features themselves and report frequent problems with components such as complicated door handles, infotainment interfaces and wireless phone chargers.
And a report released last week now suggests that some new car tech also poses a major threat to data privacy. The new report was issued by the Mozilla Foundation, an Internet-focused nonprofit group, and concludes that when it comes to handling users’ personal information, today’s high-tech cars are the worst category of consumer products the organization has ever reviewed. Cars “have evolved into a privacy nightmare,” says Jen Caltrider, director of Mozilla’s privacy reporting program. Because they incorporate motion and pressure sensors, GPS, cameras, microphones and smartphone connectivity, modern vehicles can collect an astounding range of information on their drivers and passengers. The researchers assessed 25 popular brands’ privacy policies and found that 21 of these allow car companies to share or sell customer data with external service providers, data brokers and other businesses. Privacy policies from two brands—Kia and Nissan—even include a clause that notes that each company may collect and disclose data on users’ sexual orientation or sexual behavior.

Tesla Model 3 catches fire after debris punctures battery
A Tesla Model 3 electric car which caught fire in New South Wales earlier this week reportedly had its battery pack punctured by debris on the road.
In a video uploaded to Facebook by Penrose Rural Fire Brigade member Daniel Medd, the footage showed fire crews battling the blaze which occurred on the night of Tuesday 15 September, approximately 75 minutes south of the Sydney CBD.
According to Mr Medd, the fire occurred after the 2023 Tesla Model 3 – which appears to be a dual-motor variant – ran over debris from a truck it was travelling behind, puncturing its nickel-cobalt-aluminium battery.
While the driver and their passenger were able to escape unharmed, the Tesla is expected to be written-off as it took the fire crews more than 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Teslas think Yellowstone bison are human-dog shapeshifters
Sizemore is a professional wildlife photographer who lives in West Yellowstone, Montana, so he frequently drives around the park.
He said he bought the Tesla this summer and was eager to see how it would image roadside wildlife. He didn’t expect that the AI system would be programmed to recognize and accurately depict bison, which aren’t really a concern for most American drivers.
“I was suspecting that the display would show a deer or an opossum – some sort of animal that most people are more likely to encounter around big cities,” he said.
Instead, as he demonstrated in a video, Sizemore’s Telsa was befuddled by the bison lumbering along just a few feet from the side of the highway.
But instead of defaulting to a deer, opossum, raccoon, cow or some other common critter, the screen displayed bison along the roadside ahead as people out for a stroll.
Then as the car passes them, the “people” morph into dogs. Either a larger pooch about the size of a Labrador, or a little yapper about the size of a pug.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to whether the bison/person will change into a big dog or a little one.
A video of a Tesla driving through Yellowstone shows the vehicles AI software isn't sure what to make of bison along the road. They appear on the computer screen as human-dog shapeshifters.

Three EVs just won top crash safety award from IIHS
The three EVs that garnered the award are the 2023 models of the Hyundai Ioniq 6, Lexus RZ, and Genesis Electrified GV70.
A Top Safety Pick award requires that the vehicle score a top rating in all six of the IIHS’ crash tests: driver- and passenger-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraint tests. It also must have an “advanced” or “superior” front crash avoidance system that activates to help inattentive drivers prevent vehicle or pedestrian crashes.
Then, beyond these tests, to earn the “plus” rating, the vehicle must meet additional requirements for headlight quality, and the headlights must be standard across all trims.
All three of the vehicles met IIHS’ high standards and thus attained Top Safety Pick+ ratings. Specifically, the Electrified GV70 earned “advanced” ratings in both the daytime and nighttime vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention evaluations.
Several other electric vehicles have won the Top Safety Pick+ award, including the Rivian R1T/R1S, Kia EV6, Hyundai IONIQ 5, Tesla Model 3/Y, Audi e-tron, and others.
‘Completely stupid’: Tesla’s new gear shifter and indicators
Only a "genius" would put the shifter on the roof. Or maybe a monkey. 🐒
While previous iterations of the Model 3 featured a physical gear shifter on the indicator stalk, the 2024 Model 3 has a gear selector that's incorporated into the central 15.4-inch touchscreen.
This follows the same formula as the updated Model S and Model X offered overseas, both of which feature a gear selector on the driver's side of the central touchscreen.
Traditionalists have the option to bypass this touchscreen gear selector and opt for a physical shifter – but they'll find it in an even more unconventional location.
While the backup physical gear selector in the new Model S and Model X is located below the touchscreen, in the new Model 3 it's been moved to the roof.
This rooftop gear selector can be used instead of, or in addition to, the touchscreen selector – or in the event the touchscreen selector fails.
