The thing I noticed in Jim Brumley's latest article, is that with Translock2, more types of cargo ships can carry the Doublecrown containers, thereby increasing the potential usage of Translocks even more, as they become increasingly popular for shipping many types of materials.
I don't think the Japanese operation exists any longer, as it has been a few years now since they used it. As far as missing the reporting deadline, I am not sure, but must assume there was some good reason for not finishing it in time?
It now is in the hands of whoever they are seeking that last $30 million from. Plus, there may be a possibility of the DOE changing their mind, since they would like, I am sure, to give into at least ONE successful cellulosic ethanol producer! [:^)
Well, I know Arnie Klann to be a man of really high integrity, and am sure he will continue as long as possible from a financial standpoint, however long that may be. I am saddened by how the DOE reneged on their original offer to grant I think up to around $80 million or so, just because BFRE missed a reporting deadline. An operating success here would be good for the DOE, as well as for Bluefire.
So, I understand there are still possible sources for the remaining $30MM needed to fund Fulton, probably some in China. I feel the Chinese also have a vested interest here, since they need to see Fulton plant proven to be successful, before they invest in their own plants. They seem to have plenty of cellulosic materials available for producing ethanol, or other products available from cellulosic materials, and I can see them becoming a major ethanol producer using the Arkenol technology. There is no doubt in my mind on the efficiency of this process (concentrated acid hydrolysis) as reported from the Bluefire Izumi pilot operation in Japan.
I fully agree we will benefit from the hard work of our DDCC management team. Furthermore, it will be a very good return, which should continue over quite a long time, IMHO. For these reasons, I see no reason to even consider short-term stock moves, volumes, etc. All that is irrelevant to long-term investors.
I sometimes wonder about that too, Monroe. Maybe they don't have enough cellulosic agriculture and/or waste materials to utilize for ethanol production?
Some talk about using algae, but I am not aware if sufficient amounts of algae can be grown and collected to make enough ethanol to make it economical?
In the case of BFRE's proposed Fulton plant, they plan to use wood wastes from the timber industry, and I think there is plenty available for them to use. That should be a whole lot cheaper than the corn being used by most other cellulosic ethanol producers.
Excellent points, Magicman, and longer-term growth has been a feature I have seen coming too, as customers become happy with results of their improved shipping experiences, and their customers become aware of the Translock advantages, and begin to request use of these improved, and industry-specific designs too. Full implementation of this could take many years, meaning a long time of growing income, and rising stock prices for for Doublecrown.
I agree with you guys, and in fact don't even read a couple posters entries anymore.
I think our "payoff" will actually become a bull move of DDCC stock over some years, as new business contracts become added and contributing to earnings growth. No reason why we won't before long get a price measured in dollars, meaning a rise of hundreds of times the current price! I invested three years ago at around 2 cents/share, and plan to get a huge final profit.
Yes, they DO plan well, along with applying some real ingenuity in their Translock designs.
I noticed they can fit four Translock2's on a rail car, and two on a flatbed truck, so that should allow for pretty efficient transporting too, along with all the super features of loading/unloading, product safety, etc. that they have carefully thought through in designing these industry-changing patent(s).
Sorry for all the boring details, that is just the Engineer background in me speaking! [:^)
I also have a good feeling about this one! I am really intrigued by the good reports from their Pilot Plant runs in Japan, while the rest of the cellulosic ethanol industry seems to be struggling with the economics of their various processes. Bluefire should easily prove their process a success at Fulton, MS, if they can only get that last 10% of financing!
Agree completely. Later, when net profits are significant, and a growth rate can be computed, we should see the price measured as a PE ratio, and then price projections made by the markets.
One thing that still interests me is the new technology for locating precious metals. It was reported back around January, that Doublecrown has a two-year contract to use that exclusively, presumable at the Bateman Property. It still hasn't been implemented, and when I asked Tricia about this, she gave a fairly vague reply something to the effect that it was under consideration, and further news would be announced when available.
I assume that maybe funding and availability of currently-busy leaders are issues, but with the big potential of this property for holding highly valuable gold ore, I sure hope they are able to apply enough time with this technology to take full advantage of the potentials at Bateman.
Yes, and one of these days the market will run out of sellers, and DDCC will begin trading at higher and higher prices!
Yes, I believe this will improve the bottom line of all who become involved with the new Translocks, including of course, Doublecrown Resources. There is certainly a reward for hard work, honesty and integrity in dealing with customers and suppliers, as our honorable team has been doing, and I am sure will continue doing!
As shareholders, we of course will also benefit from all this, and I fully expect to experience a long period of increasing business deals, in both shipping and precious metals mining/shipping, as new Translock2 designs get patented, and the two new mining technologies are put to productive use.
Good news, ProfitScout! Let's expect that a good number of them will be Translocks, and that the percentage of total new containers being Translocks should increase for many years to come, as new shippers become happy with them, and order even more over time!
Frankly, I am surprised that CTG Corp. apparently hasn't done much yet to help arrange Bluefire's final Fulton plant financing from China. With the cellulosic ethanol producers using the enzyme technology in America still struggling to become economically successful, and with the excellent pilot-plant history of Bluefire's technology in Japan, this has a good possibility of placing Bluefire in the US, and later of CTG in China, in a successful new method of using waste material for economically producing ethanol, and other products available from sucrose( sucrose is the first material that is brought out of cellulosic materials).
Yes, it is obvious that DDCC are taking full advantage of the tremendous advantages offered by the various new Translock designs. I know that President Lopez is one busy man these days, being both the designer and marketer of them over the international shipping industries.
My hat is off to him, CEO Jerold Drew, and all the Corporate Management, along with all those who are helping them with the numerous details and follow-up work making the current and coming contracts great successes.
Yes, I agree with you both, and am really saying we should expect a continuation of growth over a period of time, as the new contracts, Translock production of various newer designs, and continuing plus new gold discovery/shipments grow for quite a while.
In other words, the stock really should spurt any time now, when present sellers peter out and great news is reported, but the price should also continue rising(with normal ups and downs) for some time to come, as revenues continue rising! [:^)
Now that our expectations are fully ramped up, we should also add a bit of realism here. That is, to realize it will surely take some time yet to reach full realization of the Translock's full value. This will include more time in completing all the contracts that are expected from this fantastic new shipping mode, as well as time to build the numerous containers that will be needed, for every contract.
However, this only means a continuation of future growth over time, as new revenues begin to be added , as well as future sales of precious metals, as they become discovered using the new detection technology.
Thanks, Hotstockz. Brumley's article was actually a great advertisement for Doublecrown, describing the advantages of, and even showing a sketch of a Translock Squared shipping container.
Yes, ProfitScout. Plus, I notice it calls for a new loan to provide controlling rights to new precious metals property acquisitions. It seems they have a whole series of new deals underway, or soon planned, and that once a continuing flow of revenue is realized, there could be a significant upswing in new deals in the precious metals field.
Besides all this, we know the Translock Squared systems are very close to being released in various markets. With the price of WTI crude nearing $50/bbl again, this should also include a pickup in the oil drilling/fracking industry too.
Pretty good rally underway, without a new order announcement! [:^)
I agree they look about ready to really start getting down to serious and big business deals now. President Lopez is the author of most, if not all, of the new patents, so he will know exactly which type of Translock2 will be needed by various potential users, plus he should be able to come up quickly with any needed additional modifications, for any products not already perfectly handled by a currently available patented design.
Great insight, ProfitScout. That should produce patent royalties way beyond their own Translock2 designs.
Yes, we do, Biglued1. And, it is just going to get better and better beginning very soon!
yes, I agree our management certainly have shown tremendous skills and sound timing in business decisions so far. It just seems to me that, since they have already acquired a potentially good property in Canada, wholly-owned I believe, and I just don't quite understand why that isn't being given top priority, in locating and mining the gold ore that is pretty certain to exist in it?
yes, I do recall that, but still wonder if they can actually find property they are pretty sure contains gold ore, at the right price that is consistent with future income, for making land purchase payments? I don't think their net profits would be anywhere close to the actual value of the ore they ship to Korea? Again, it would be superb if the Bateman deposits can be located and started up soon too!
Guess we should just trust our leaders have the wisdom and intuition to make great decisions on this too, as they have on all the design and business choices already made on Translock2 developments!
Thanks for the info, ProfitScout. I think I will wait a while longer for a reply to my earlier request before asking again.
You are probably right about buying an operating mine as the quickest way to continue filling the present gold shipping contract, but I just wonder if they have the capital to actually buy an operating gold mine?
I agree 100%, Greendolphin. With a high probability of gold actually existing on the Bateman property, I don't understand why they don't have all hands on deck, setting up the technology for location precious metals? They reported earlier they only have access to this for two years, and more than 6 months have already passed. I only hope they ARE working as fast as they can, to get this new tech in place, and showing where to begin to dig.
Wouldn't it be exciting if Bateman winds up supplying a big percentage of their present shipping contract with Korea? That would be income from both the ore itself, and its shipping!
If Tricia reads these, maybe this will remind her to answer my question on Bateman sent over a week ago?
This could mean rising prices also for the gold mining properties Doublecrown is looking for in South America? With limited capital funding, and probable increasing competition in searching for such lands, it seems to make good sense to also double down on exploration at their own Bateman property, using the new exploration technology. I asked Tricia about this about a week ago, and have not yet received a reply?
This is where they will need lots of wisdom and experienced advisors, etc., since the higher goes the price of gold, so will the price of potential gold mining land. Too bad they can't use the new exploration technology before deciding to buy any specific property.
Yes they are preparing for good gold sales in coming days. Remember though, that except for the shipping of other miners' gold now being started up, it often takes a while to locate new mother lodes on their own properties, and mine these new precious metals, not to mention the need to actually own more gold properties, which they are presently shopping for in South America.
In other words, it may take a period of time before Doublecrown will be in a position to sell much of their own gold and other metals, even with the new locating and processing technologies available to them.
Yes, and those new designs were tweaked in cooperation with several potential customers, so that they should be nearly perfect for handling various types of materials, with different requirements, for the most efficient handling. Therefore, they will wind up with a slightly different Translock Squared design for a wide range of different materials, and many customers.
I just hope Drew and Lopez have sneaked in a day or two of vacation time this summer, as it appears they will soon be swamped in contract discussions with new customers! [:^)
That WOULD be great, if they wind up buying some new really significant gold properties. With gold prices now on the rise, I suspect potential gold land purchases would be on the rise too, with present miners also looking for new mining sites. Let's just expect Doublecrown can find just the right land, at a reasonable price, that actually contains much more gold than expected, and that it can be located precisely, using the new technology they have access to for another year and a half or so?

I am optimistic that a considerable amount of gold exists in the DDCC Bateman property, and that the new technology to locate precious metals will find it. If both presumptions are correct, then further rises in the price of gold will add significantly to future profitability.
Not many companies sacrifice like this, I am sure! PLUS, they must at times work long hours, and act with wisdom, integrity and great diligence in perfecting the patent designs and business contracts, setting the stage for long-term growth, and very happy shareholders!
Yes, revenues showing up, and then being sent back out to start-up new contracts to bring greater growth.
Notice the patents are under the name of Pres. Allen Lopez, who probably did contribute most of the creativity and overall design ideas. I feel sure he had help from others, in finalizing the many drawings, and details, etc. My point is, that the man who is dealing directly with new customers, along with CEO Jerry Drew, has intimate understanding of how the Translocks will specifically benefit each type of customer, and which design would be best for each application. Don't forget, they have also been in direct discussions with some new potential customers, which means they probably have really honed-in the latest designs to meet all needs for each type of product needing to be shipped.
All this should make it easy, and fast, for new customers to put the new Translock Squared designs into use.
Hotstockz, thanks so much for your study and explanation of your understanding of the soundness of these coming patents. That should mean greater resistance against anyone else from infringing on the Doublecrown patent rights.
Agree absolutely, the patents will become big revenue sources. That is in addition to the now starting gold ore shipments, and before long selling and shipping Doublecrown's own gold ore from the Bateman property.
Then, who knows what new ideas our very wise and diligent leaders will come up with for future businesses? [:^)
