Not that it makes any difference
but yea, have a bid for the am for 2500 more at .34
Got plenty but a little more can't hurt at .34
Had it in for .33 today (Wed) but never got a share so time to up it.
Just waiting around.
Ya got to believe or not. Guess I do see this little puppy making its mark. The daily ups and downs are not a bother. News will flow in due time. Now the price (to me) is just right. Felt don't wait too long at these prices. Never know. At the low, probably not, but don't wait too long or might miss a ride when it does comes for real. Heck it could be Friday or next week. Now wouldn't that be a trip. (geeeees what if it is 6 months from now) Could be but it will go north some day; just be ready for blast off, whenever.
Fun to read all the views

Made my day!! Very complete rundown for us news starved shareholders. A gracious thank you.
What was that little phrase within your notes:
"One Kelly did say was to watch the $80 billion supplemental budget that Bush has currently asked for to fight in Iraq."
Nice $tatement!
Domen/Holybull
Our advancing peroid is closer then you think.
Keep cool!
:)
Spec of course
but I think we're on a slow lit fuse.
Just a view but who ever heard of a big deal being done in a short time. Now don't press for what is a short time; I don't know nor does anybody or care what is. IF there is work being done on a big deal it would take time, THEIR (the buyers) time to set the pace even if it is the military or whoever. Just to assume if one would be making a large purchase would not another private show be warented at their request? Would think so. This could be going on right now and for that matter, another week, month.
Think this wait is good because (Paul doubts or not), we are the front runner with the equipment in this market by all signs. (don't ask me what signs. lol)
As far as shares being traded, nothing is being traded. Has anybody seen anything posted to warrent a big surge; not yet.
The stepping stones are being done to form the structure. Where else could you buy into a firm for 30 plus cents before it explodes upward. An unknown company in the pennies making a huge inroad on a permanent fixture of status quo just might take some time to cause an impact with a release of data that will set the pace of its industry.
Rome was not built in a day.
Talk about professional production
Nice job VTSI. One comment tho.
Hopefully they will make this vidio with MANY different languages for overseas markets. And advance NOW while we have THE product and obtain the worlds attention with todays events. (IMO). Seize the moment so to speak. No time to pause.
International interest could be a nice jump start to join the players already in the game.
Paul, interesting info to look at
In all fairnes, the Lookheed PR dated 1/19/05 that you listed with them using FATS for the firearms was awarded June 2004 with that simulator system. That was 8 months ago and well prior to VTSI's entry into the mix in Dec 04.
Would not this past Dec military showing in Florida be to showcase "upgrades" on current tech out there now? Sure VTSI and other companies have not stood still to upgrade their stock and compete for a share of the current pie. Example would be VTSI's 4 G and threat belt. Other companies = ?
Any comment about the General now on an advisory staff.
Guess they are back to work spending money
8:47am 01/20/05 Cubic wins 5-yr $113M U.S. Army contract By Leslie Wines
NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Cubic Corp (CUB: news, chart, profile) Thursday said it won a five-year $113 million contract to produce the U.S. Army's next-generation Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System for live training. Shares of the San Diego provider of combat training systems on Wednesday fell 3 cents to $23.81.
"five-year", nice. Hope VTSI can obtain multi year contracts at some point with any of its products. Ah the good life. Wonder who they beat out and how long the biding went on for this one.
Ever hear the expression -
"It's who you know, not what you know."
Think there are advantages? Yes Sir!
Not too bad for a military contract
8:55am 01/13/05 Engineered Support wins $57.7M Army contract By John Ittner
NEW YORK (CBS.MW)-- Engineered Support Systems Inc. (EASI: news, chart, profile) was awarded a contract Thursday worth $57.7 million from the U.S. Army for vehicle add-on armor kits to protect U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Engineered Support shares rose 17 cents to $56.92 in Wednesday trading.
Don't think it's a "dry period".
VTSI has finally obtained credibility with its products.
Agree it IS time to showcase. Like now? yea. Sales talks.
Short term, mid term and long term goals would be a plus for the price and interest in its growth prospects. Beleive it to be in the best interest for the company to express itself in these terms.
Have noticed many companies have projected themselves almost daily to be in the news. Would hope VTSI has the properties to do the same to create this interest for future investors.
Is this THE week
Thought Friday would be the day but guess things take time.
In this case it's worth the wait. Board is so quiet with everyone siting on the edge of their chairs for an announcement of something.
Perhaps this coming week will bring the start. Let's hope so.
If not, don't sweat it. Sure there are deals already made but they MAY be waiting on the big one before posting. Just spec of course. :)
Still hope they "rapid fire" pr's if they have that kind of news to relay. Keep 'em comming; create steady interest.
WW
I too am in the camp that the middle of Jan or there about, according to Kelly's indication, we will be in for a nice ride when new business (with numbers hopefully) is announced. Actually believe most of the new deals are already in progress or done. Why would or how could anyone project the rosie future and not have that ace up his sleeve with a smile on his face.
Yea the waiting game is for the birds. And yes again, numbers will move the price. If we get something above and beyond, watch out it could really spike. Hope there is some mention of "short term, mid term and long term" in whatever text they wish to use and a faint mention of $$$ projections. That would cause interest and speculation.
"Sales news is what moves..............."
Bingo Greg.
At this point a "rapid fire" of short term, mid term sales news could be a nice start to gradualy push it up. Would not like to see a huge spike but a steady stream of anouncements to build the base. Never know tho.
Conversely this is priced soooo cheap for where V has positioned itself that perhaps a .30 to .50 spike just might hold if that happened. Fuel is what keeps the fire burning. So let's see what we really have in January when the news starts to break.
(fast forward......it is now Jan 14th at 4:00pm............
VTSI closed at 1.26 with MORE news anounced this Friday at 4:01pm over the wires. FLASH----XYZ hsd just signed for 10 more 4 G simulators to replace ABC's units for advanced training overseas.......details to follow.........)
Now wouldn't that be nice!!!!!!! lol
AMEX first qtr
CC take
Smart move Kelly did to have that call. Simply put it was not designed to appease this or any other board. Nobody following the company already needed a spark to stay with it because WE all know whats going on as we follow it.
With the interest shown last week, new groups were interested with the new tech. What better way to inform possible customers and investors, competition and perhaps alliances then to outlay the company's plan and current direction and financial situation with an updated CC. Important is where VirTra is going in 05. Rosey picture to say the least.
By what was said hope they add at least 3-5 people to the sales team. It's a big world out there and if there is business to be had, don't sit on it because it may not be there for extended periods of time like you think it will.
The international market is there. Sounded like we have the domestic market covered pretty well.
FATS logic there Bylo.
Ask them. Think it was a good move too.
Old customer new contract announced at the right time.
Why didn't VTSI? Only the shadow knows.
Think they probably had better things on their mind, like to be a player and get known with this new toy.
Opinion, yea I do.
First off the FATS deal was "probably" a done deal made prior to the show. Nice time to release it while you're at the show; good appearance of being a player. Don't think any deals made THERE would be out for public knowledge this early. Heck, the show just ended.
News could start to flow tomorrow or this coming Monday for those who have inked a deal at this event.
Simply based on VirTra's tech, and if the coverage from the press is any indicator, we're in good shape, maybe in great shape. Will have to wait and see from Kelly. He's always kept the investors advised of the goings on and can't see why this would change now. So I am prepared for an enlighting PR in the next few days based on this fact.
Lastly, the debtholders last day with the extention for the company's proposal is tomorrow. That's a huge step if that goes through.
So keep cool, the simulator just got turned off and is still warm. :)
This IS the turn around
simply put. New features that have been in the planning stage are now out front for ALL to see. The catalist is the company's new production for the world (USA goverment) to see.
We begin the rise with this show. Make no doubt about it.
Isn't it lovely to be in a stock that has addressed its problems, debt, and incorporated new teck to ice its value at the same time.
Ya know Greg
The ones that make the money are the ones that believe and stay put when things are at the worst or in the beginning. Of course you have got to have the product. IF you have the product and a decent company management team, odds are in ones favor. Revenues when accelerated will dis anything on the books negative for investor confidence and interest. Time is of the essence is NOT applicable dealing with a start up or small company. And this is a start up small company with these new products to the market.
Have inroads been accomplished? Think so. Are they working to improve sales? Think so again, at least the company press says so, assume to be true. If that's the case then how long till the price moves up significantly? Good question. Does anybody reading this have the answer??? Of course not. This is a wait and see OTC and a darn good one in my view. There are products that have created interest in its market and apparently WILL take time before it really takes off.
Remember, the buyers of these products have to put up a whale of cash to purchase so that would not be an impulse buy like a low cost item. (a good reason why things are slow on the purchase, even GSA purchases) And the beat goes on and on and on till that big fish is landed. Just have to sit on this if you really believe in the company's products and that it will make big inroads in its markets, in due time. Maybe this year, hopefully. Think this year is the one tho personally.
Are these just dips or price deflation heading south?
Think those X employes/spouse
are still at work. Don't think they were as stupid as earlier posts had suguested. Potential of moving up in price held them back and now we see the results. Don't get me wrong; it's not just this factor alone but a contributing one holding the stock down effecting the price.
More so, GSA involveement with announcements of multi millions will move the price. And perhaps a country purchasing many units would do too. Company needs to spend unlimited time seeking investment groups and/or individuals for the stock. Who cares about articles or the like. Good advertisement though. Looks good doesn't it. That does not create investor interest like everyone thinks it does.
Big thing is that in this business a deal is not consomated that quickly but takes time. This is perhaps the problem hindering sales at the present. Will sales come? Of course it will, but at a snails pace which is probably the norm because of the huge expence involved for units.
What of the current price? Drift lower? Yes but for beleivers with patience, and maybe a lot of patience, a great deal. Product is KING. Marketing is QUEEN. Got to have both to make it work. And have x employess out of stock for sale; that helps too.
Just a few comments with another view. Take it or leave it.
Might be sooner then you think Greg!
:)
BINGO, you got it!
Strength talks is what I've been trying to convey.
Money makes money and is a lot cheaper to get when you are strong in your field and making good sales. That's how the institutions play the game. Anybody, individually or a company that's drowning, they will not even talk to you. If they do, you're going to get preditory rates. Got money or don't need it and they shower you with it at low fees.
Some may not feel that this is going to be a solid company and are still in doubt. So don't buy in or add at these prices. Good luck anyway.
A little comment or two reading a few posts early this am.
Just because this particular stock is on the OTC downer exchange means nothing. All stocks begin somewhere and evolve or do not evolve. For the lucky ones, the ones that have something going for it which may be a good or great product line, the risk is far less then calling it an OTC risk because it happens to be on that exchange. The individual company makes it own risk/reward.
Should one find an exceptional company, even with heavy debt which may appear extreme or not but still debt, a negitive, depending on its real direction with customers in a market does make a viable play to off set that negative and realize big gains so long as it can occur moving forward on its path to profitability. Time is not of the essence. More so if it is a leader in its field; another plus if this is the case.
If one finds an OTC stock that just may be above the rest, why not risk a lot of money if the risk becomes limited with the comany's progress in the market it is persuing.
Past performance in another field in its past does not count; only the direction it is headed currently is the issue.
Generalization of all stocks on an exchange is old hat because technology has and is very much different today. One has to study and ask questions and know what they are investing in if they so desire to put a lot of money into that particular company, a long and short term earner to make a profit. Why risk a dime on speculation. Speculation ended with March of 2000.
OTC stocks are a beginning for some and also a fraud for more then some. If one digs deep and has an arsinal of information produced by a spectrum of information, and like this site, the risk is limited greatly. Asuredly one must do his own homework to varify everything, SEC reports, and talk to management and get a feel for current and future projections, whatever one can learn for the thought process. And how about SEE the products for those who can have that oppertunity. More power to you.
Kelly is an optomist. What CEO isn't of his own company. Producing is the key. Unless he is lying with the published and verble statements to date, is there a double (or more) to be made from now? Just another viewpoint.
And my dollar fifty's worth.
Yes Bylo, "growth company".
Where we are at THIS stage is far ahead of where this company originated and was in the amusement business. Do you not feel we are on the pattern for growth? I do. Are there prospective customers or not. Is the products a first line quality to sell more? I think so. To me that sure looks like growth.
"Debt usually only gets negotiated if a company is on the verge of bankruptcy or financial peril..."
Disagree. Strength dictates. If a company can show growth in its products, is that weakness.
They're not going to announce everything as soon as they get it. Terms of the deal, non disclosure if they do not want it announced, ect. If you have no body buying why announce everything you have. Makes no sence to me if you do. They DO have deals unless you think all the recent PR's are not true.
That is your opinion. I think they do have them.
Got to post this quickly as have to leave for work now. Will check in tonight. Will discuss over the weekend if you want.
Later (out the door now)
Yea berstein, your vacation is over.
The base of growth is now built; that is good. Hopefully management is working harder on investor awareness. That seems to be the next phase. Without it, we flounder. Little spikes will not hold us up. A huge deal, now that would be a plus plus.
The talk about reverse split: might help, but would not keep the price up without new blood is the bottom line.
Appears they have a lot of deals to be announced though when the timming is right to do so.
The debt: most growth companies have big debt to get where they are. If the business is there the company gets into a position of strength and can maybe renegotiate the remainder with the lender and even get more favorable terms. This is done alot. I do not see debt as a huge issue with a "growth" company providing they have a strong business plan and have the ability to continue to grow.
Greg, don't change a thing.
Public domain is free for anyone.
If it's there, post it. Take your postings and logic away is to destroy the board. Caution with some of your "friends". Some people thrive on trouble, controversy and illogic. It really comes to light when a negativity issue surfaces.
Have a good one and keep cool!

Subject: june and July. OUR months

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've been saying that for a few months now. But, it needs saying again. June and July is what we are waiting for right now. Not new contracts, but tie to pass so that the OLD news can come to fruition.
We had a lot of good news early in the year. the deal with nestle's. The infomercial going to be made. the plant being started in IL. that helped us out a lot. but, now people keep wondering why no new news is out. It is becaues it takes time to DO the things alaredy announced. the informercial was annoucned. After the announcment, it had to be written, shot, edited, and produced. Then, it had to be sharpened to the final product. Finally, it had to be placed into slots for TV, and that is not done a mere day or two in advance. All that takes time. So, even though it was announced months ago, it is just now being finished. We should see it ON TV in ... June or July.
The plant was announced. that too takes time to build. It tkes time to get the permits TO build it. To work the design, ramp it up, construct it, and get it going. It will be up and running about ... June or july. It has always been on that timetable. The nestle deal was announced. That was said to start in earnest in June too. It makes me wonder (going into speculation now here) if Greg told them that they could go ahead and start taste tests and even get a contract but that because the plant was not up yet we could not deliver enough Z-Trim to allow the deal to hit the streets before June. Either way, June is when it is expected that ''whatever'' product it is shall hit the streets. I forget where I heard June, but I think greg said it in one of the releases.
See my point? We are not having ''no news''. We are working on EXISTING news. What has been happening since February is that the previous releases are being ACTUATED. The plant IS being built, and those of us that attend the annnual meeting will see it. The contract with Nestle's has been moving forward, and we were told a while back that they have INCREASED the size of the order twice. That is good news. We don't know what it IS yet, but I can live with that. I bet it is a FLOATING contract anyway, and will be changed AGAin as Z-Trim hits the market. Increased MORE THAN two more times. So, it was probably not a dollar amount contract, but a relationship contract. that will GROW over time, as products hit the shelves. Again in june or July.
the infomercial can NOT come out until we can make enough product to support it. So, since the plant is scheduled for June or July, I bet the infomercial starts about two weeks before the plant opens. A guess, but tht is good planning. And, despite what some may think, I think the planing on this has been superb. I'll tell you about that in the next paragraph. For now, the infomerical. I personally think that the profits from the infomercial shall be MORE in 2005 than the profits from the nestle deal. You heard it here first.
Not the revenues, but the profits. I would think that we will sell more to Nestle than on the TV, but the profit margins are so much higher that it would not surprise me to see $3MM in profits from $25MM in sales to Nestle (Again a guess on the size of the deal in 2005) and $5MM in profits from $10MM in sales on the infomercial. PLUS any other contracts athat can be signed after these are figured out and absorbed into our ability to supply them. (and some of you thought the infomercial was a bad idea)
The output needed to supply the infomerical, plus the output needed to suppply Nestle, plus the output needed to supply GourmetCookie.com (let's not forget about them) is MORE THAN WE CAN PRODUCE RIGHT NOW, according to one of the releases greg put out a while ago. Which leads me to my last thought.
The planning and ramping up of a major company. Greg has done this RIGHT. WE are all looking for the next contract. That may not be the right way to look at the upcoming news. If we can not meet the demands of nestle with our current plant that is also producing Oattrim for Quaker, and can't in the near future meet the demands of Nestle AND the infomercial even if we use the output from both the plant we have now (remember it is a pilot plant really) AND the one we are building in Illinois, then WHY GET NEW CONTRACTS? Instead, line them up. get them READY. Then, when ALL THIS NEWS hits us in June and July, take that news and build ANOTHER plant. Maybe TWO more. THEN, we can add more contracts AND meet those requirements of supply. SO, contracts are NOT #1 ''now''. Getting PRODUCTON is #1.
Guys, this is all speculation. But, I've worked with start up comapnies before, and KNOW that this is how it normally works. You have to get a contract to get some revenue and to get interest. Then, you have to build a plant to provide for THAT contract. We are do9ng that with the plant in IL. Then, you can expand from there. But, until we have the plant, I don' think we CAN announce any other big contracts. The infomercial is for higher profit , so we WILL do THAT, but we can't produce enough if we get three or five (or thrirty) more companies asking for product. NOt yet. SO, instead of getting them mad at us, we tell them that we have the product, and that it will be out there on Nestle SOON, and then we will deal with them TOO. make them feel not as important as Nestle? SO WHAT? Nestle's is THE #1 food company in the WORLD. they ARE less implkrtant than Nestle. But, we need to tell them they are important to US. And, we WILL get them product TOO, as soon as we can ramp up enough for Nestle and then get to them. SOund logical? It does to me!
that's my take on it. And, I think that once we get the plant up and running, we can announce more contracts, and WILL. And, then we'll build MORE plants. Wouldn't it be nice if by the end of 2005 we had about 8 plants across the midwest? If we grow SMARTLY, (and I think we HAVE done that so far) then I think it is possible.
So, here's to June and July. I expect them to be GOOD months for us. The fact that we have held $5 per share in May while having no new news AND the market TANKING is GOOD news to me. Going up? Nope, but not a problem. Getting ready for June and July? YEP!!! Let's review the price on August 1st, or August 10th. Then, we'll see if this plays out as I expect. ANd, as i started saying way back in March and early April, when the news started disappearing, and people started worrying. WOrry now, but see the results by AUgust 1.
How's THAT for a guest opinion on what is happening at CXN? I disclaim that this is ONLY A GUESS, but based on previous work with companies that have had a similar path. I am long the stock, and am a bull. I am probably biased. Oh well, that is why I am an owner! I sese good things for our future though.

Painter, who has conducted ample research in the field of nutrition and health and fitness, has created meal bars and gives lectures on diets, anticipates Z-Trim will be a massive success that Halpern will directly reap the benefits from.
"(Halpern) is very excited because it will probably make him millions," he said.
Not only that, but Halpern expects Z-Trim to help curb the United States' constantly climbing obesity rates.
"This is huge breakthrough," he said. "By the end of the year, everyone will know Z-Trim is the answer to obesity. It you look at what people are doing now (with the various diets), it is a great solution."
Presently, according to the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the prevalence of obesity in the United States has soared at an epidemic rate during the past 20 years. The department also states one of the national health objectives for the year 2010 is to reduce obesity among adults to less than 15 percent.
And with the reaction his company has received thus far from the food industry regarding Z-Trim, Halpern is over the moon about the product and its future. He said FiberGel Technologies is scrambling to meet the demand of major brand corporations that want to use Z-Trim in their food products.
"They are jazzed about the product," Halpern said. "The problem is they want more of the product than we can provide. It's a push-pull campaign."
Z-Trim's versatility is what Halpern said adds to its appeal.
It can be mixed a myriad of products including salad dressings, cookies, brownies, mayonnaise and butter as a fat replacement. And Halpern said consumers will be deceived when they compare the Z-Trim laden food with full-fat product.
"Actually, a too-good-to-be-true scenario came out of the product," he said. "In a taste test seven out of 10 said Z-Trim was the full fat product."
Adding to the enticement of Z-Trim is that it is relatively cost competitive with fat.
"It's make a gourmet cookie that's less expensive, even less expensive than Mrs.Field's," Halpern said.
Although its powder form is the sole form than can currently be purchased by consumers, it also is made in the gel form the food science class will be experimenting with.
"We are only selling powder, but we want to sell it as a gel," he said. "I can sell smaller amounts as powder though and it is cheaper for the consumer."
Kathy Rhodes, a senior dietetics major and student in Eastern's food science class, said she is elated to have the opportunity to participate in the fat substitute tests.
"I am very excited about the Z-Trim project," she said. "It is so wonderful to be in
on the ground floor of a fat substitute that I feel will be the breakthrough for obesity in America today. When the sugar substitutes came out, everyone thought that was it - everyone can eat what they want and it won't affect their weight.
"Well, as we can all see, that sort of backfired. Z-Trim is different ... I tried one of the chocolate chip cookies (baked with Z-Trim available online) and it was unbelievable. There was no after taste or strange taste. It was soft and chewy like a cookie should be."
But Rhodes divulged she won't dub the product the diet solution until her class conducts an array of tests.
"The only drawback I have on Z-Trim is the fact that they don't know the long term effects of it yet," She said. "That is one of the tests, as many others will be, that will be conducted for Z-Trim."

Nice Article Part 1

Found this article doing some research tonight. Pasted the entire thing because you need to sign up in order to access the article:
Beginning Friday, Eastern will be the lone university assisting Mundelein-based FiberGel Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Circle Group Holdings Inc., in testing what may arguably wind up being the most successful fat substitute in history.
Z-Trim, a fat replacement that lowers up to 50 percent of calories and fats in foods without hindering taste or texture, has been available for consumers to purchase online since January in a powder form.
The product is one Greg Halpern, Chief Executive Officer of Circle Group Holdings, said consumers can expect in mainstream food products made by Nestle and other major food brands by summer.
"Few people know about it now, but by the end of the year everyone in America will know about it," he said.
The company purchased the patent from the United States Department of Agriculture laboratory in Peoria, where Z-Trim was developed.
From June through the end of the year, it will air $20-$30 million worth of commercials hawking the zero-calorie, corn-based substitute that increases healthy insoluble fiber when used in products, Halpern said. He said a direct response company will be responsible for all the marketing and promotions involving the product.
First-year School of Family & Consumer Sciences Chair James Painter, former assistant professor in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, initially became involved with FiberGel Technologies when he introduced his Nutrition Analysis Tools and System (NATS) to Halpern at a conference last June. The NATS program uses tables to analyze the nutrient content of the food people consume and is compatible with most browsers. During midsummer of last year he licensed the company with a 15-year agreement to make NATS accessible through the Z-Trim Web site (ztrim.com).
During his encounter with Halpern is when Painter became aware of Z-Trim, which at the time was in the process of being developed. In exchange for pursuing Z-Trim studies, Eastern received a financial gift from FiberGel Technologies, Painter said.
Now, Painter said, working in conjunction with food science instructor Susan Rippy, Eastern's food science class will experiment with Z-Trim by cooking with it along with recruiting consumer panels to serve as taste testers.
"I asked Susan Rippy if she would take this experiment to her classes," Painter said. "I want the faculty to be doing real world teaching. I really wanted to make a connection between Eastern and industry. We'll gather the consumer panel to gather the overall opinion (on how well it is received). It is a win-win situation."
Students will be incorporating Z-Trim into baked goods, salad dressings and the like and gradually will chart how well it performs in the various tests the class conducts.
Rippy insisted while she expects the fat substitute to help people battle obesity, they still must implement lifestyle changes.
"We will be using the gel to substitute for part of the fat in common baked products," Rippy, who with Painter has already what the testing will entail, said. "Part of our work will be to determine the acceptability of the finished product and to determine the level of replacement that will be acceptable ... It will help, but people must still incorporate a well balanced diet with variety and moderation ..."
Painter expressed confidence in Z-Trim and is hopeful it eventually become a food industry staple.
"I really like Z-Trim," he said. "It is exactly what we need in this country. It is not a magic bullet because obviously there isn't one. But it comes close to it."
A general question:
The GSA filing with the government: if we have gotten approval and are now a part of the "group" that can bid on contracts, does this mean that ANY contract the different services need filled, companies would have to be notified and contacted? In other words would all government qualified companies receive the bids for the projects in the first phase before specs?
If this is correct there could be an unprecedented number of jobs available and coming in regularly all the time. Might require additional legal employees to sift through the paper work......A bonanza in disguise if this is how its done.
Don't know!!
Now you have struck a cord.
Isn't that the truth, direct and to the points.
A thought to myself:
This CEO can't come close to anything right, right? Guess the best thing for him is to say NOTHING till something does come to pass. Now wouldn't that be a variation. How would you discuss nothing if nothing is going on all the time????
Could there is a discussion anyway???
On my other runner, some were complaining about "fluff" PR's from the CEO. Know what, he stopped sending regular general news about a month or so ago and guess what. Same people are crying for news behind the scenes privately and on the boards.
Go figure!!!!
This CEO feeds the news fix pretty good to his shareholders. Would hate to see that avenue dry up for everyone should we hold him to letter perfect.
(got my shirt early this past week. Go VTSI!)
Anything under $10 will be a steal
when CXN gets it going. The point being, get in before it takes off and runs away.
Wow, quiet board.
When will we get the next press??????
Probably about time like now for a zinger up to 7.
Now wouldn't that be nice!!!!!
Greg,
The deal with Dutchess is NOT a debt for the company; let me start off with this and explain.
They made a deal back in Oct 2003 for a line of credit for 20M, of which the CEO advised, they came to CRGQ at the time. Prior to, CRGQ had a fund raising and received 1.5M for FiberGel and the other 1M to CRGQ, the parent company for its other interests (like Traxvac & Z-Bind as examples). Was it stock, I beleive so.
At that time, again this is all from CEO Mr Halpren, the company, unlike many small firms was NOT directly in need of that capital from Dutchess. It did however gave the company a funding option that they can use whenever they feel when it will best serve Circle Group AND its holdings. The agreement was made to SELL SHARES to Dutchess based on a price-volumne formula.
So if no debt is occured, NO shares need to be sold.
However if cash is needed and shares are to be sold, WHAT A SWEETHEART DEAL they gave CRGQ. The company dictates to Dutchess WHEN and WHAT price to buy in. So say they want to use up 5M for a new plant and take a trip to Hawaii, for materials of course, (as an example), CXN could tell them to cash in the stock at $6, $10, $15 and $20.
As you can see, just like people with money, if you don't want or need it, they practically give it away. Typical of the financing community.
What does this do to the stock price, not a thing because it is controled by the company on the delusion which would be gentle. Unheard of huh. YES IT IS. Mr Halpern was and still is in very much control of the game. Almost all small companies getting money almost always flood the market with tons of shares, restricted and non restricted at the LENDERS discression because the borrower is in a position of weakness and NEEDS the money NOW.
VTSI may be able to get a good deal also that Dutchess has already been paid off and is in good standings with them. Perhaps that is taking place now as Kelly sure was VERY VERY upbeat on the Dutchess relationship for the future. The very short term deals that are in the works for VTSI at this time IS STRENGTH and Kelly should play it that way.
Would have to add, with the new plant for Z-Trim now being built, unless CXN got a bundle already from Nestles and or other non announced contracts, that line of money may be tapped into by this date. Don't know as no info has been put out about it.
And berstein, to the best of my knowledge, CXN has no other large debt.
Greg, let me get back at you. Going to enjoy the holiday thru Monday now after this post. Happy Easter!!!!
By the way just joined IHUB few minutes ago for a year, so like it or not, here I am.
weo----Yes, it has been an amazing ride to date. Taser is just unreal. Also incase you didn't know, they are having ANOTHER 2/1 split. Talk about this one at work just about every other day, unreal is the right word. A co-workers friend bought in near the begining or early on and after this upcomming new 2/1 he told me the guy will have 18000 or 19000 shares. How's that for luck. And yes the guy is a millionare because of it. Personally would be scared to touch it going straight up like it has. To each their own. He ought to cash some out. JMO
VTSI WILL get a nice ride very shortly. Just watch WHAT is announced. Those 1.5M to 2M shares being sold will get eaten up very quickly as volumn picks up steam due to new business. Count on it because it will be happening. We have THE top product weo, and that sure helps the selling of it.
Have a good rest of the weekend. Happy Easter! Time now to enjoy HBO boxing and the family.
:) Considering an ignore of, what's his name???? lol
Later
This is very simuler to CXN. They got 2 weeks of TV coverage around the country (free) when the media heard about it. Check its media coverage site if you want to see how much and where it all aired. It was used as "filler time" I understand. Think some of the segments may have been near the prime time, so a lot of people did get to see what the product was and is about. It caused a HUGE back order for Z-Trim the CEO advised us. Public awareness was was the key. Paid media coverage to start very soon.
In this case, the gathering at Trexpo West brought the media to see ALL the latest high tech. So we got immediate (free) media coverage, customers and potential customers plus much needed exposure all at the same time.
Having the best equipment in its field with competitors there present with their units was really a plus. No second guessing with everyone in the same place. Kelly and team did a wonderfull presentation and we will be reaping the rewards quicker then you think. These media slots do help for exposure.
Nice job Greg! Really enjoyed them.
YOU, berstein, are humorous as heck!!!!!!
My wife was cracking up today on your post 6881 which I showed her this morning. Sometimes you have to use the outer loop when suitable. Your phrasing and addressing of quotes is outstanding.
You and yours have a pleasent Easter too and thank you.

You are FEMALE aren't you. Simple question, simple direct answer will do.
Everybody has ASSUMED you are a male and addresses you as such but I can find no past post to confirm you are male. It makes no difference lady but the board should know who they are talking too. Why do you not correct everyone who addresses you as "he/his, ect". Who have you SPOKEN to in the recent past at VTSI to convey your displeasure in what you feel is not right and give proper insight to move the program forward. After all, your helpfull research could go for naught on a message board. Why did you not call in the CC to inspire everyone. To have left notes with others did not answer the question of why YOU did not call in. Guess you had your reasons.
One "would assume" a positive shareholder with good motive would call headquaters being INVESTED with his or HER hard earned money to make a comment or two. Makes sence to me.
I do it all the time and have done so with VTSI for one.
And no, you cannot read minds. If a person who beleives in his or HER company by doing research and feeling very comfortable with them, you would expect to talk good about it. How that can be labeled pumper and dreamer, unless you have a different deffinition. You could label all the longs here who beleive in the company also should they talk good about it. I will say your brashness and attacking individuals and twisting statements to your mode of thought is very plain to see. BUT I do recognise free speach. Say what you want as everyone should.
You know my wife is Hawaiian born and raised there like I told you on our board at RB. Are you a howlie living in Hawaii, native or perhaps from the outer loop in the Pacific. Just curious. Is your husband or boyfirend an investor in this stock also?
:)
