Today's investment climate hasn't been seen since 1979. People are more frightened about their financial health and future. What in the 1980s would have been an exciting little stock to play around with is nowadays a potential lifeline to escape personal financial disaster. Almost no one now knows what the near future is likely to bring them, where 40 years ago they were far more assured of a retirement upon which they could live. Small trades now seem like big trades with possible dire consequences. An added aggravation is the sense that (thank you, 2008) that banks and traders are crooks who want to screw as many people as they can from their money.
As an inverse, today's defense climate -- even with more gathering insanity and violence from the Arab countries -- is far less frightening than when I was a kid practicing "duck and cover" drills under my school desk. No one now has a fallout shelter to protect from enemy nuclear bombs. Instead, many have rooms and lots of ammo to protect against home invasion. The insane run-up in gold is the next bubble about to burst. What good is gold at $1350/oz unless people expect society to collapse (and the laugh is that under such circumstances gold will be worthless; food, ammo, home generators will assume the value of today's gold)?
Fears and hopes change over time to reflect what is going on in peoples' lives. Thus, today's Market as a pseudonym for a terrified flock of sheep, running back and forth, eyes bulging in fear, as both wolves and sheep dogs look on.
I am reminded that the Chinese character for change is the combination of the two other characters, danger and opportunity. If you run with the sheep you have an even chance of being eaten.

The Honda Point Disaster
The Honda Point Disaster was the largest peacetime loss of U.S. Navy ships. On the evening of September 8, 1923, seven destroyers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clemson_class_destroyer), while traveling at 20 knots (37 km/h), ran aground at Honda Point, a few miles from the northern side of the Santa Barbara Channel off Point Arguello on the coast in Santa Barbara County, California, while trying to find San Diego. . Two other ships grounded, but were able to maneuver free of the rocks. Twenty three sailors died in the disaster.
It was later learned that the flagship, USS Delphy, was the only one doing any navigation. The other six ships in line simply followed Delphy, believeing that as the flagship of Commodore Edward Watson, it had to be following the correct track. Thus the six trailing ships followed Delphy up onto the rocks.

It is my observation that this board is increasingly becoming the Honda Point of members' boards. Few are doing any DD; most are just following the loudest members who are aboard the commodore's ship. Add this to the volatility of pink page stocks and you have a perfect mess. I have banned several "members" to the Phantom Zone and continue to invest as I see it. It is very peaceful for me. I recommend it.
Have a nice evening!
Most pink sheet investors are easily paniced. Thus, today's sell-off over... what? Nothing has changed from last week, just a lot of malevolent bad-mouthing of the stock which borders on manipulation. The federal court has not announced an end to the TM-CLYW negotiatings, which the court -- and CLYW -- must do if such happens. The state case has not been lost, just delayed. Trust me. I've seen much longer delays in cases. One board member sent me a private message damning me for being mean to him. I have no idea what he is talking about. Another member laughed at me for not selling in 2003 and 2004 when the stock was $3 - $4 so I could 'make a fortune.' He never asked me what my position was. I did not even break 10,000 shares until 2007. The BOD? If enough stock holders want them gone, we can remove them, but that would be a lot of work. Tomorrow? Market close was .081 today, with bid of .085 and ask of .09 when the market closed. Looks like back up tomorrow. This stuff is not for the faint of heart if you are long. I am told several members who I long ago sent to the Phantom Zone are running riot over the board with claims that we will all be broke soon, and probably divorced and in debtors' prison as well. Of course, these same members have a history of trying to start stampedes to lower the PPS, at which time they buy more. LOL!

OK. We disagree but I wish you well.
>>Questions/Observations for discussion...any input from the true longs would be greatly appreciated:
>>Do we know for certainty the case has been rescheduled?
No, but we also know that several board members who contacted the court were assured that it will be rescheduled under Texas' Byzantine system. Unknown if it will be rescheduled soon or after another three month wait.
>>How or when will we know?
The court will post a new schedule showing when a particular case is set to begin. Several board members are on this and will pass the info.
>>Will we know a specific date at that point too?
Yes, once rescheduled. Several on this board have referenced the court's web site.
>>What is a typical delay timeframe?
Nothing really typical. Here in MA district court cases are scheduled 3-8 months ahead. However, there is a 1 in 3 chance that that date will slip. It involves having a court room and judge available; lawyer and witness availability; no other case running over and taking our case's court availability; etc.
>>Will or could this delay affect negotiations with T-Mobile?
Probably has but that's an unknown to anyone outside of the board and the court. That the TM stay is now five months old suggests that there has been some agreement between CLYW and TM but it remains secret and perhaps contingent upon other factors we know not.
>>in your opinion, would this delay make Drago more eager to settle?
Good question. A look through Google suggests that his real career is using the courts to bleed out companies he targets. That former board members signed insane agreements and prior settlements re. CLYW suggests he will go the limit before he agrees to settle or until the case is concluded. OTOH, he seems about at the end of his ability to cheat his way out of this case.
Been accumulating CLYW since 2003. Never sold a share. At current pps, am up over 200%. Could be life-changing, that's for sure.
Think of CLYW as a lottery ticket but with the chance of winning one in three as compared to the lottery's one chance in 14 million. And the lottery sells tens of millions of tickets every week!
Not to be left out in the chart game, find below the behavior of CLYW when p/s, direction, bimodal interference, and buyer behavior are factored together to predict price runs:

Re: Court news -- stock is back-sliding again.
In theory, this would work in favor of the defendant, which is probably best in our system. Unfortunately, this also gives a leg up to defendants who are professional snake oil salesmen.
Just what I said. Can you or anyone on the board say with certainty when the trial will occur (even a date range would be welcome)? Is there a settlement in the works? When will Markle be free? Why has there been no rescheduling of the trial? I know. I work in aviation where the Law of Gravity is always strictly enforced. I guess I'm spoiled.
Taken in aggregate, the past two weeks' posts make no sense.
We are on the docket for 2/7. Case is delayed but will be rescheduled before 2/21. Case is not even on the docket as far ahead as 3/14. The case may be settling. Markle has other trails before he can get to CLYW. There is no court date and none scheduled. Etc.
Clearly, these posts cannot be reconciled. My friend's seven year wait for his medical malpractice case was very long, but he finallt got a firm date six weeks ahead. And that proved correct.
I am beginning to doubt the accuracy of posts on this board. I am not near Texas but some posters must be. What is going on?
p.s. I am a long since 2003
I think the issues are ownership of the patent and obviating the fraudulent contracts with Daic.
Anyone who could get through organic chemistry with high marks has my respect.
Gridline Communications provides internet and TV over regular power lines. That's the good news. The bad news is that it hasn't been able to do so outside of a small town in England.
If he is shown to have lied during deposition, anything in his life can be entered during trial.
We sometimes forget that recent daily trading has been 1/2 of one percent of the stock. There has been almost no stock turnover. Everyone is waiting for the next shoe to drop. The daily pps has essentially become meaningless except to day traders.
MA courts are worse. A friend had to wait seven YEARS before his case went to trial. And then he lost.
>>It is scheduled at 9:00 AM CT (8:00 AM EST).
9:00 Central is 10:00 Eastern.
Not to be a wet blanket, but a complex trial I sat through (medical malpractice) called only 6 witnesses and lasted 7 days. Just sayin'.
It's ocurred to me that the MMs may have changed the code we think we know just to screw with us... 8*)
Civil cases on a docket are routinely switched for the convenience of the court. Sometimes a court room becomes available. Sometimes the court chooses to put what should be a short trial ahead of what will be a longer trial despite their relative times of filing. And word always gets out to stock traders at the top of the food chain. The pps is up almost 20% in the past five hours in the absense of any official news. Interesting.
Something appears to be happening for the good...
Probably means others are bidding the same price.
I can't find it either.
Just as I thought. You have easy access to your supposed information, but just can't take the one minute to post the link here to share, or simply copy it to this board. I leave it to other board members to draw their own conclusions.
Your last chance to be taken seriously. Please give LINK to the document and let us know where at that source we can read about a delay. Thank you.
"accurate numbers" are no such thing without a link to what you say. Links, please.
Please explain what this means.
..."The UBSS seller who has had their foot on the throat of the stock for weeks seems to be gone..."
Please do not post supposition as fact. What is the link/source for your assertion?
Good info. Thanks.
Correct. A finding of guilt in a civil trial is "the preponderence of evidence" rather than a criminal trial's higher standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt." In MA, a conviction is based upon all but two of the jurors finding guilt through the preponderence of evidence. I don't know about TX. Also in MA is the option of the defense to go for "shared guilt." Let's say the jury finds Daic 75% guily. That means (.75) X money awarded by the jury.
Daic clearly wants to postpone this case as long as possible as he will of necessity have to purjure himself once the trial begins. In a civil trial the defendent does not have the choice not to testify -- the 5th Amendment applies only to criminal trials.
