More than one way to trade, but I guess that's the point. You passive aggressively poo-pooed on the "bag holding" type strategy that clearly works for many people. Just to clarify, this isn't my only strategy, it just has worked out very well for me in recent years.
At the end of the day, LRDR I am no longer buying shares. I contemplated buying more around .0015 if it got back there, but my thought process is a group pump will be unsustainable and at this point it seems like the CEO is doing nothing, so no real catalysts in the near future. Plus it hasn't been "dead" long enough for me to want to throw $$ at it, especially with that scary O/S.
I still own 1.2M shares at .0005 which are technically free since I made out fairly well on the run to .04. I'll hold them because who knows, he might actually do something someday.
Yes, I've sold and it really depended on how sustainable the move was.
LRDR I bailed all the way up to $.04 because it was just a shell. KAVL is a completely different beast with actual revenues, net profits and no going concern, plus the ability to hold up after such a strong move. I'm really waiting to see the next quarterly before determining my exit strategy.
Averaging down on 95% of stocks is a terrible idea, following people with thousands of member marks is a bad idea, listening to Jim Cramer is a bad idea. So, just gotta be comfortable and confident in your own strategy regardless of what you do.
Risk/Reward my friend but it's also why when things get so cheap, you know market cap in the $100k range, I start buying as much as I can. You want to get in a stock the same size as me, you'll be paying significantly higher, and you'll be fighting with everyone else.
LRDR I was in before everyone. I owned maybe 8M shares at .0002 from 2016.
You wanted 8M shares when the filings came out? Good luck, you would have been fighting with everyone else to get shares at .002, 10x higher than me.
Plus, I don't want to sit and watch scanners all day everyday.
Same thought process berd.
We hold KAVL together, and I have also made out greatly these last few years because of bags I've been holding. Before that I would take the tax loss and think nothing of it. It's funny because a lot of those I took the loss on, I remember seeing them being high flyers years later. So had I just held, cha-ching!
What people don't realize is when you're a bag holder, you usually can average down dirt cheap, and then you know that those hundreds of thousands, or millions of shares are off the market and won't be available.
RVDO I was a ton of the volume under $.005. Then, when you look at the ask side, literally no one there, so any pressure it would have skyrocketed and I was the only one getting those cheapies. Rallied to $2, unfortunately I bailed sub $.20.
CAPV is one I've been holding since 2016 and I loaded up a ton of shares under .002. You won't find it on any scanner, because it's dead. No one will want it, but someday, people might want it, and my 002s can be had for $.05. A huge company rolls into it? Fine, you can have my shares at $.50.
"Bagholding" works, as long as the company doesn't dilute into the float, especially since "dead" stocks you're able to pick up shares dirt cheap from folks who either need the cash or have no patience. That means you scoop them up on the bid or a very low ask. A few slaps later you could be up hundreds of %.
I can list probably six 10-100 baggers that I banked on in the last year or two from having to "baghold" for 1-5 years. Is it luck? Sure, but the winners also severely outweigh my losers, so should I stop? No thank you.
Hey, don't get me wrong, I don't think this play is dead, but I do believe it's clear as day dilution is going on, especially given that CDEL seems to have an unlimited amount of shares, we saw 100M added to the O/S, and we've traded roughly 100M shares since July with little to no price appreciation. In the past, 5-10M share days catapulted the price straight up.
I'm loaded here, and I'm also bidding for more, but I am not pretending there is no dilution/new shares hitting the market.
Most definitely is. We've seen $100k buys at the ask, all the way from $.50 to $1.00. You can tell that these sideways actions is when the big insiders/institutional buyers are waiting on the sidelines to buy more hoping that folks part with their shares for cheap. Too bad no one is haha.
It's very obvious tons of new shares were added, despite the lack of notes in the last quarterly.
Next quarterly should explain the reason for the addition. I just hope shares weren't given away for peanuts like that ridiculous .0004 price point for those 45M shares to insiders.
If they are done selling we will stop spinning tires and head north. If they continue to dump on us, well, we'll see if we can hold above .01
Still debatable if this thing will get off the ground. They've added 100M to the O/S in short order. If they keep adding, then we'll never gain traction but hopefully the dilution is coming to an end.
If we assume they hit $50M in Q2 and can grow even a small 5% a quarter that's $800M in 3 years. Not too far fetched to expect $1B especially when that $50M would be on 8 distributors in the US. Start adding in multiple countries and 5% quarterly growth seems very doable.
Also, keep in mind, a $50M quarter, is $200M annualized, and based on the O/S, that's an EPS of $.35. A company growing this fast deserves a big multiple, 30x? 50x? Even a basic 10x puts us at $3.50.
Move that 500M control block, and holy hell man. That would be a $2.78 EPS, and a 10x on that puts us up around $27 lol.
There is too much upside potential and that is exactly why we see these low volume dips. No one holding size is selling. Just silly retail, Ihub type players who are treating this like a penny stock up 10,000% on nothing.
Very obvious what is going on.
Buy, buy, buy, quiet with light buying/selling, buy buy buy, quiet with light buying/selling, Buy buy buy.
Same pattern all the way up, which tells me highs are definitely not in yet and I suspect a lot of buying is from insiders/distributors/institutional investors that have a better understanding of the current environment.
Not all of them can be like our KAVL haha. Although LRDR had a great move a few years back
Looking forward to Q2 numbers. That will tell the story, the growth, the EPS, maybe it'll give us some more insights into expansion to different countries, etc.
Would love a close back in the 90s. This looks similar to 7/13, which then led way to a 100% gain 5 days later.
Keep whacking dummies, I'll be buying.
If I was selling KAVL, it definitely wouldn't be on a low volume day like today.
You wait till there is volume to absorb sells otherwise you screw everyone holding as well as sell your shares for a discount, IE not very bright.
I haven't been active lately, been on vacation!
I think last 2 flatlines resulted in a 100% gain before next consolidation. Might get to $2!
Same thing was said in the .02s, hopefully not too many fell for the pump posts.
What a gorgeous chart. We have almost made it to the end of the quarter. Will be interesting to see how long until the filing is out. Might be out pretty quick when you think about the business. Its pretty much just sales and cost along with minor expenses.
Its about to get real exciting again knowing the Q can drop any time, would hate to be without shares.
They trying very hard to keep it at $1.00, just like we saw around $.50 when they wouldn't let it close above for a few weeks.
Lol! they tricked us
$1.05 print!
$200k of shares in hands now at $1.00
I'll be on the road most of the day tomorrow so I won't be watching. I'd love to see $1.10+ if you guys can muster it :p
Odd day today. $200k in volume and we couldn't knock down that non-existent wall at $1.00
Based on today's volume, I say definitely.
75M shares hasn't moved it because of all the selling. When the selling is over, it shouldn't take much. It really seemed like they were going to let it go the other day.
It's not retail unless everyone is taking losses.
Look at the chart and you'll see a majority of volume is at higher prices than now.
My guess is the O/S is increasing fast, but with a gagged T/A we won't find out until OTC is updated or filings.
You are correct, but I think we'll have to wait for the next quarterly to see what's going on here.
My math shows that 8M shares have been added to the O/S that isn't accounted for (as far as I can tell) in the latest reporting. Not sure what it's for, but we ate through 75M shares already and we're still seeing selling pressure.
Really just depends on how many more shares need to be sold.
Let's be honest here, the old O/S was 38.5M. We know 45M restricted shares were given to the CEO/COO which should put us around 84M O/S. As of 7/18 it's actually 92M, so 8M shares unaccounted for.
Of the 92M we know AT LEAST 45M are restricted, leaving 47M float. We've traded 75M shares since 7/2, which is 1.6x the max float assuming 92M O/S.
7/2 share price closed at .019. 75M (1.6x max float) shares later we're at .0155.
That doesn't make sense and with the T/A being gagged, we can't even get an idea of when it will end.
Don't think it's retail selling. Plus when the CEO and COO gift themselves 45M shares for $20k in wages, I begin to ask myself, what kind of company are they trying to become.
Depends on how much more selling needs to be done.
T/A won't give me information on the O/S, so I think it's pretty clear what is going on.
Ask slapped and ETRF didn't change size.
Just going to dig themselves into a hole if they don't actually have the shares!
Kind of weird that we've seen 160k volume and we haven't been able to move much. Maybe some coordinated trading going on.
ETRF playing games at $1.00
Could be why there seems to be so much resistance around $1 and all the matched trades. MMs screwed :p
I had to slap the ask a few days ago. Would be nice to scoop up some more cheapies though!
Very generous payment, that's for sure.
bearing a restrictive legend issued to the individuals herein as payment in lieu of $20,000 USD worth of wages for the quarter ending in March 31, 2020
Comes out to around $.0004 a share. $20k in wages now worth $818k, hmmmm
Past two Mondays we saw dips and 2 Monday's ago was the dip that started our move from .50 to 1.00.
RSI is cooling off nicely today
Hopefully cleaned out soon so we can start the move! Good to see you here
