Is this abstract only for the upcoming SNO presentation, or is it for a journal article just published in a SNO Journal that will be summarized at SNO by LL ???
The link to the abstract refers to a JA published 11-14-2022, so is the presentation on November 20 tied to a JA of the same published by the SNO?
When was the trials database listing of the phase3 trial updated and end date changed to November 22, 2022?
Lucky guess?
Wise man says quiet actions are louder than shouted words!
I had the sneaking suspicion that the natives would have me for dinner, literally!
Just watched many episodes of Naked and Afraid.
If things don’t go our way next Monday we can probably raise a team of nwbo longs to do a 60 day challenge in Africa.
We’d probably stand a better chance against the big cats, elephants, hyenas, crocs, and snakes, than against our weaponized spouses!
Excellent example, however remember to use the thorniest and most prickly materials around the outside.
I wouldn’t recommend using the wifey’s favorite rose bushes unless you really want to invite trouble!
Watch out for new or increased insurance policies
I’ve got dumb covered and my vision keeps getting worse.
What’s that you say, sonny?
This may be my time to play after all
Just call me Tommy!
If we get kicked out we may or may not be naked, but I will definitely be afraid!
A boma in my backyard woods might do well to keep the coyotes away from me, however it might not keep out my wife and her carving knife!
You are wise and have common sense in abundance, and these days common sense isn’t very common!
The IQ of the Georgetown Park System will plummet when nwbo turns you into a Rich Man soon, living in a proper Georgetown mansion
Bravo!
As for the boma, surely some out going politician may need temporary safe refuge while seeking the next suitable rock to crawl under
The truth shall triumph and set us free to reach our true potential!
Seems I may have touched a nerve judging from the response?
How can a vetted statement of results at a high profile cancer conference, presented by a neurologist’s neurologist and foremost GBM treatment pioneer, of groundbreaking firsts in 20-30 years in mOS be anything but positive!!!
This isn’t going to be another NYAS beat down, and the manipulators have been put on notice.
It’s all coming together in a Gestalt manner!
Piece by piece, the multiple facets and prerequisites are aligning and are drawn to each other such that the whole will be different and more than the parts.
Have Murci !!!
Indeed it is a Sunday, so we’ll have to look to Stuttgard for the earlier European reaction and then Monday morning for the USA market.
It’s getting harder to get a good night’s sleep!
Never mind the hot dog stand, focus on the food truck as the source of sustenance!
You might be able to work an agreement where you get first dibs on the end of day perishables. Maybe you can offer security services in the form of sleeping in the food truck overnight as a night watch person?
Maybe November 20th will bring rising stock price action and redemption.
Just in case, start gathering materials to build a boma around your park bench, with plenty of firewood for your fire.
Remember, if you must eat a rat be sure to make it extra well done. Instead I think I’d become chummy with the local hot dog cart vendor and barter help for franks and sauerkraut!
news we already had an inkling about, however it's nice to see related news reported and reinforce that DCVax is not a mirage, not that the NYAS and upcoming SNO isn't enough to validate the reality
Growth in cell therapy clinical programs means Charles River boosts offerings in Memphis
by Tyler Patchen
While Charles River Laboratories has had its attention on the UK and Ireland over the past year, the company is looking to make its next expansion into the Bluff City of Memphis, TN.
According to the outsourcing company, it is planning to boost its cell therapy manufacturing capabilities at the Memphis site, adding nine processing suites and bringing the total number of suites to 23. The expansion plans to add the manufacture of both clinical and commercial autologous and allogeneic cell and gene-modified cell therapy products.
While the company did not disclose the price tag of the expansion, it did explain why the Memphis facility is being expanded:
More cell therapy clinical programs are progressing to late stage and commercial. As a result, Charles River is experiencing strong growth in the interest of our cell therapy CD¬MO services, especially from clients with high volume, late-stage, and commercial needs. All signs point to-wards this rapid growth continuing in the coming years. With several of our current client programs moving towards commercialization, it was an easy decision to expand our capacity with these commercial-ready suites.
The expansion will eventually lead to more hires at the site, but Charles River remained mum on the details. The facility al¬ready has around 300 employees.
An expansion at the Memphis facility has been in the cards for Charles River since it acquired Cognate BioServices, a cell and gene therapy specialist with operations in the US and Europe, for $875 million. Right before the acquisition last year, Cognate had previously unveiled an expansion in Memphis as a part of a move that would double its total manufacturing capacity across two continents.
Given the approach of writing SOWs to cover a year at a time, which is not a requirement but a common practice, and the environment of uncertainty in timing of milestones and factors that can come into play, might the SOWs be written to cover some leeway in milestones and avoidance of work stoppages due to SOW that might be faced ?
Also, there would be opportunity to true up in the meantime and the next period given the contractual arrangement is not likely to stop suddenly assuming the manufacturing needs will increase.
A major new change such as a buyout from a company that has manufacturing capability is a big enough change to refactor many things and would still require some transition period, especially if still waiting on approval and more so if already approved.
All imho as an unemployed (retired) observer.
Who’s…
Would you explain what you mean by doesn’t have the nut and is bluffing?
TIA
Indeed, he is a human chameleon!
Funny also how he is appropriately named Black given his extensive involvement in the world of black projects, as highly classified projects are referred to be.
Cofer is such a consummate clandestine operator that neither we or anyone else can see or detect what he’s doing
Don’t have to be a genius, smart enough yes, to have enough players in on some of the action and enough otherwise intimidated and smart enough to “mind their own business “
Money corrupts!
Besides, who gets hurt, the anonymous mass of retail investors hoping to win a few “lottery tickets?”
And also, it’s getting ever harder to recognize the good guys from the bad guys. Used to be numbers was illegal and now the states run lotteries galore and all manner of betting. Used to be only guys with crooked noses lent people money at 21%+ interest rates, now all the credit card companies charge rates as high as over 30% !!!!
I don’t know if big nwbo “winnings” will corrupt you and me, but I’m willing to give it my best college try
Truly sounds lax versus when we visited Lancaster about 25 years ago.
Patrick Duffy was Bobby, JR’s decent brother, in Dallas, wasn’t he?
Don don, don don, don don don d don, don don don don don d don…,
I surely will!
You know how some bagel shops and baked goods stores will offer to gift you leftover bagels, breads, and other items that aren’t good the next day?
Whole Foods never did such for me, selling me the stuff at full price and then tossing the rest.
Hey as one old commercial used to say, how do you think a man like me (wealthy) became a man like me
I wouldn’t join a club that would have me in it !
So you’re good not being a Costco executive member. Besides, you don’t have problems like trying to eat 4 portions of stuffed salmon within the same week before they go bad (yes I was too lazy to split the portions up, putting the tray of four in the oven instead.)
I certainly have left a good portion of my paycheck at Whole Foods! Should’ve had it direct deposited to Whole Foods
Can’t rule out any motivation, except that skilled artists who still can, tend to create and/or perform as long as possible, like the Stones, McCartney, Ringo, Tony Bennet, Harrison Ford, and Tom Brady !
It’s not primarily the money, it’s the love of the endeavor and mutual energy exchange with the fans, I think.
But what do I know? (I stopped performing at about 20, at least that’s what my wife says - cue the rim shot!)
Next time I bump into Blondie I’ll try to ask her discretely, if I don’t get knocked on my arse by a vicious roundhouse to the head with a frozen gourmet pizza flat bread or large zucchini
You are correct as usual.
I remember the 16% interest rate back in the Carter days I think!
The resumption of the deflationary influence from increased productivity, resulting from technology advancements, will continue to be a dominant factor in the world.
Turns out she has lived 1-2 miles from me all these years in our middle class neighborhood, and I think she’s still performing, so if I can afford Whole Foods I think she’s going to be all right for some time
The ugly truth is that now all the other more reasonably priced markets saw what Whole Foods charges and they have also raised their prices on many items and closed the savings gap
I recently started going back to Costco for some items and they convinced me to upgrade to Executive level with a can’t lose deal according to their handheld gizmo that analyzed my membership.
Almost threw out my back lifting the spring water into the giant sized shopping cart
They are cool dudes and dudettes in the central Jersey area, and the locals give them space for the most part. You can bump into the JBJ, Bruce, Max Weinberg, at various places like a park, an ice cream venue, a farms store, a deli, a hot dog place, a gymn, sandy hook/Atlantic highlands, local supermarket,…
Almost like regular people.
Blondie shops at the Whole Foods I shop at. (Who didn’t have a fan boy crush for Blondie?)
Sure, that’s sort of an offer you can’t refuse
Exactly!
Btw, as of late I’ve started parking my short term cash in 3 & 6 month treasuries yielding 4-4.5%. I would go out to 1-2 year maturities if I didn’t need the liquidity.
I’m very sorry to impact your estate plans, however Jon just recently (late 2021 I think) sold his beautiful French chateau style house on the River to live out in the Hamptons where he and his son have a vineyard/wine business.
He might very well have another crash pad place in NJ, however I love the residence he sold and often pass it on my ice cream and quiche runs in Rumson. (Nwbo coming in too late for me to buy the beautiful estate for myself)
Jon started his Soul Kitchen concept in Red Bank, and more of them have been opened, to give back to society, as places (eating establishments) based on volunteering and providing meals to everyone, where those less able to afford meals eat free and can volunteer to contribute back, while those who can afford it may pay and volunteer.
It says a lot about JBJ that he volunteers, including washing dishes and other chores you might expect a rock superstar might be too upity to do willingly, but not JBJ.
When our boys were young, at a Red Bank antique car and street event, he brought his young son and was just blending in among the anonymous crowd wearing a western hat, and I was sitting outside at the local coffee/food shop with my son, when I noticed him and our eyes connected from a distance.
We gave each other a silent and discrete acknowledgement with a slight nod, more like two dads, and I assure you he didn’t know me. (Although my daughter had one of his children in an extracurricular art class she had volunteered to assist.)
JBJ is good people as far as I’m concerned and you could do a lot worse than support his social causes like the Soul Kitchens in your legacy planning!
That sounds like a nice problem to have, of being wealthy while you’re young!
Many of us more mature posters would trade a small to large fortune to be young again
We’ll all find a way to cope with our new nwbo wealth, and DCVax will also provide a positive return on our longevities, God willing!
I’m roughly half in Roth and half in brokerage, so if we get a buyout I’d be rooting for all stock no cash, in order to defer the taxes on the brokerage shares and hold the max number of the acquirer’s shares.
A BO for stock from a Merck or BMS, for example, would be a fairly safe and dependable equity paying a healthy and likely growing dividend stream.
1 Merck share for every 4 or 5 nwbo shares ($20-$25/share) would float my boat!
Of course a higher BO would always be welcome
Never count a good horse out!
You may remember a number of years back, maybe 6-10 years ago, when the various attacks appeared to be coordinated.
You had negative AF pieces, multiple frivolous lawsuits including searches for class action suit lead plaintiffs, heavy shorting, etc.
Kinda like this past May 10 NYAS, only worse since it was a prolonged attack at a more vulnerable time.
In fact I think it was this near BK experience that spawned the radio silence strategy strategy !
