Agreed. Many bought at higher prices this year, and were just waiting to sell the news, now they are flushing. Just as this is textbook, so too will be an SP ascent next month.
Until I see some new approved tech, I am planning on that happening with others like it in spades.
A whole heck of a lot is going to happen before then, starting next week IMO.
Given the variety of terror groups and frequency of incidents there, I cannot fathom why the IOC chose Russia for these games. Not surprising why so many dignitaries are boycotting(albeit under the political card) considering the high consequence. Like stated,if there were ever a time for Implant to position and promote their GSN best of breed award winning ETD tech it is most certainly leading up to and during the games.
I'm here, haven't had anything to opine just spending time with family and watching a lot of football.
That out there, they are executing, not executing. They need some orders with extra Zero's, only concern I have in time is an RS. Four years holding an OTC could be construed as hope springs eternal, but I still have all my shares. Slow pot to boil, but still think they have the goods, and get a much larger % of market share than most here expect. When is a different story, I am patient. One thing that has really helped me override the frustration with IMSC long ago is realizing It's on it's own timeclock, not mine. That sheet will make you mad, I trust they are an honest group. If they deliver, you will be able to go through every post I have on here and not find one disparaging comment made on the company.. in the minority for sure. That's just me, people do have the right to question mgmt. it's their hard earned money.
Do think we get new money in next month for a variety of reasons, there sure as hell hasn't been any this year. It's almost unfair that someone who buys at these levels will see the same gains as those who paid the same price in 2010, but then there's those who bought at $8. Suppose the longer you have held the longer you will based on seeing them execute the biz model, now it's down to executing on the sales side. Best of health and prosperity to us all in 14.
The myopia by some on here is nothing short of amazing, not to mention the lack of a fundamental grasp of dynamic between emerging companies, limited financing options, and oxygen.
Sales, yes most definitely all about them at this point. The last three years was all about getting qualified,They had to get qualified before the sizeable one's materialize, one or two of which will address the debt overhang. The process is moving fwd, slowly but fwd. I figure by next spring they will be flush.
17 months worth of extension, think they know something?
And that is why you haven't seen any new entries from S & M for the ETD market IMO. How long would it take, and what would the cost involved be for a supplier to get an "exempt distribution license" through vetting by the NRC?. It's all coming clearer, and just about wrapped up.
Gotta be the patents..
Good call. As tight lipped as they have been i'm expecting some surprises..that's pretty much been the move the last couple CC's.
Well.. they are now STAC certified,so they can sell in Euro without limitations. To spend 30k to positon and promote their products and make one large sale it's money well spent IMO. Marketing is necessary to drive sales, at least initially but it should transition to word of mouth referrals eventually if the product is desirable.
Think outside the box of a shareholder, they aren't releasing "fluff" PR's to piss you off, they are targeting new sales, and looking to establish relationships within a sector they sell product. That's how ultimately receive the PR's we all want.
“He has an incredible appetite for dealing with very complex long-term situations and being able to sniff out where the profit is,” Schick says. “In some respects, the worse something looks, the more Mark is interested in it.”

Seriously what's the downside at a buck these days?. A lot less than when it was a buck three years ago. Worst case how much is their IP/assets worth now with qualification, a larger facility, and global sale pipe?. I'm less concerned now than at any point in the last four years here, and more confident they will capture a significant amount of sales in the ETD market. Go search Smith's or Morpho's PR's for this year and you will find they are conspicuously devoid of updates in the ETD sector. Same case can't be made here, they have been winning contracts worldwide, with our gov, and are involved in several pilot programs with domestic airports, freight forwarders and CCSP programs. Unless there's another company that's secretely working with TSA developing qualified ETD products, we are the default provider. Future's looking pretty bright from where I sit.
Here's a parable that applies to holding here. Shoe company sends it's top two salesmen to countries in the African interior to prospect for new biz. After one week the first salesman returns to his boss and proclaims-
"no biz here, they don't wear shoes"
A week later the second salesman returns to report to his boss,
"Great news! they don't wear shoes here!"
The whole point is with these types of high beta OTC's it takes a healthy amount of commitment to optimism to reach your exit point. I have never seen the logic of second guessing my investments on a public forum, and while nothing said here will affect the outcome if I see things I don't like, I just sell and move on. Gotta pull up your big boy pants with these..
Nothing similar about 630M in debt vs 41M. I think you might be misinterpreting Glenn's use of the word "critical"- I listened to the CC and for me it referenced the immediate need to get new tech deployed to potentially save lives, not that his company is going to tank. For sure we are in need of large orders, but I don't see a panic on DMRJ's end since they know far more than us retail fish do. If they extended five times since 08, when it was at .05 and on life support, why would they have a mindest of bailing when the company has (short of sales) have achieved all their objectives? Pretty steep hill they had to climb, but climb it they did. Now they need to shout from the top who the new sheriff in ETD town is.
If you've waited this long, the next couple months should be easy.
Implant Sciences- an overnight success after ten years;)
I might be drinking too much of the Kool -Aid, but can't see them punching their tickets at a 700m Mkt cap when we have yet to see any other competition in the ETD market. We tend to scale back expectations based on the lagging SP, but a couple key catalysts and it is going to turn on a dime.
"I'd be happy with $3" could be one you really wanted back if they get even 40% of the market, which based on current events seems highly conservative IMO.
Think there were 4 posts all last weekend, we have quadrupled that already this morning. Much mellower crowd when you can't refresher the ticker every 2 minutes;)
Absolutely not aimed at you- general statement to those on here who bitch, moan, twist, and call for the heads of mgmt when the company does not pay like a broken slot machine on(wait for it.. ) their own personal flipping/investing timeline.
All you need to do is look at that ACSTL 8.7 update, and smile. When you focus solely on a .99 SP, it's hard to see the forest. I am not here to coddle my text amigos, I know what I own and own more than some board members. Sleep very well at night thank you.
This Is no place for pessimists. I am confident they are on the brink of success, I am holding.
I have never subscribed wholesale to that conspiracy theory. While it is boggling it hasn't even crept up, the volume(or lack there of) tells the story. One would think even the crooked MM's would have let the pin fly a bit during the last few PR's,that's how they make money. Noone new is buying, and best believe no one who know's this story is selling at this juncture. Catalyst's are needed, the right one's to break this stalemate we have been in for months
Back to our immediate future- just about out of pieces to place in the TSA jigsaw puzzle. All pilot programs winding up,we are through vetting, approved, qualified, designated, locked, cocked, and ready to book sales. Fully expecting a best of breed ETD award tomorrow, with contracts through the rest of this year, and beyond. Hoping for a nice multi year contract from TSA, and some big dog shippers in the near term. All good from where i'm sittin!
That will still be in R&D a decade from now IMO. Think of how long our vetting process has taken, and it's somewhat more conventional tech.
Could happen, and why I have been holding for four years next month. And that's just one TSA conract albeit a game changing one- what about the rest of the globe, and future products?
This is what i'm looking for,it's what will free us from the shackles of debt, and place us in the mainstream investing limelight.

"BTW- cannot beleive we're at $1.05 after today's news!" It is hard to imagine, considering how this ran years back on nothing. Think of how you found out about it- I would venture it was on another OTC chat board or perhaps a friend mentioned it. It's a sub floor deep tech/industry story that has quite frankly taken way to long to evolve and it dropped off most peoples radar. Mainstream investors are visual, they want numbers and household names before they open their purse strings. The volume tells the story, once we get the above that will happen. JMO
Actually it said "major milestone" not airports, just for clarification before the detractors jump on it. That being said, I would venture Brazil as well. They have 4000 airports, and while other SA countries have several hundred to a thousand 95% are not paved, or major for that matter. Of the busiest fifteen SA airports, over half are in Brazil. Olympics are months away
Hector Giraldo got this, as well as the DMS logistics sale in Rio(CCSP) He used to head SA sales for S&M , and is now harvesting all the biz down south for Implant. Dr Jones is hand picking all the top sales directors from the old guard, along with their contacts;)
This guy is a closer, SA is target rich- imagine what he can do with the next gen tech.

" As Director for Latin America at Rapiscan Systems, Mr. Giraldo oversaw the complete distribution of more than 30 products in 21 countries. He directly managed hiring and training of internal team members, and external channel partners. Prior to joining Rapiscan, Mr. Giraldo was International Sales Manager at Smiths Detection where he was responsible for complete market development in Latin America and the Caribbean, doubling sales in the first year, with over 30% increases in sales in subsequent years"
Lead pipe lock seems quite sensible for best of show, read the first and fourth news releases. And to the contrary, it has great value.
http://securestrategygroup.com/
Not only to tip competitors, but clients don't want the wrong people knowing either. " A Latin American Country" equates to NDA's in place. This entire industry is shades of grey due to the serious nature of it,the whole point is to stop the bad guys not help them. SSI and NDA's are the order of the day, nothing new if you have been looking at the majority of their recent sales PR's.
Just gonna have to wait for earnings, fine by me. We knew this one was coming, it's the one's we don't that are going to validate a long postion.
Buff, who else is the cargo world going to purchase approved product from? Could be wrong, but I doubt they are going to PUSH the deadline out past the 1st, it's been extended almost as many times as DMRJ has with us;) They were calling for Don Mattingly's job mid season and look what happened..got a contract extension to boot.
"The company has to do a much better job protecting shareholders"
Exactly what does that mean, they should stay silent until sales come in?. That would go over like a fart in church, and if you don't like the current SP it would look far worse if that were the case. Ya know, some of you guys need to remember OTC Ville is the land of big swings brass balls and no guarantees. Want security? it's on big board stocks tha make 5% a year. It really doesn't matter what get's bandied about here, only that you're in if and when it makes it's move- and IMO that term will be relative going fwd.
They've had qualification for two weeks, let's see where they are respective to orders in sixty days. Think it's going to still be a buck if they sign all three big shippers?.
" due to market conditions " Unprecedented that TSA would forego full vetting.
In order for shippers to buy qualified tech, there has to be qualified tech. I'm fairy confident they had the majority of the shippers at hello after demo's- they have just been waiting for the green light.
We are closing in on the deadline,i have contended for months that S/M has vacated the sector as they do not have an answer to Implants patent portfolio. They didn't spend the $$ and R&D on inferior tech they knew would not be purchased. The proof is out there, just have to look for it. First clue were execs leaving them to join us,their recent downward guidance in this sector, and most recentely that lovely TSA tidbit in the quali letter "due to market conditions". To me that closes the gate on any other horses entering the ETD race. Just like S/M had no competition for the last decade, quite possibly implant won't for the next one. They are only the third company approved for ETD, and the only new one in the last half dozen years. Tech never sleeps, i'm thinking S/M did after reaping the fruits of harvest for so long. Kinda like the big three automakers did in the eighties when Japan cleaned their clock with better product. So unless there's a hail mary by an unknown competitor in the eleventh hour, i'm saying the majority of the market will be Implants to harvest. Now if anyone has a response to the contrary. i'm all ears.
I would be concerned if there had been ETD contracts awarded to competitors, until that happens I am expecting them to get the majority if not all of the cargo and pass screening market.
That's why I am still here, that's why i'm still holding all my shares. Like the text field on the other board does his daily counting ritual, I am starting one of my own. We are T- minus 59 days and counting till the next gen of ETD starts to replace the legacy tech- in a big way.
This is five miles from me, looks like they just wheeled out a TSA agent who was shot- reports are four down all flights grounded.
Don't we know someone who has been involved with Pilot testing of cargo there?
Hint, they are also presenting at the Air Cargo Americas event in Miami next week..
Z,to say DMRJ "backed us at difficult times" is a bit of an understatement. People make them out to be lecherous but really what options did Implant have then, and now? I was here at .06 when they were in I believe their second credit extension to them. Think of the balls that took on DM's part then- Implant had but a single patent, competing against whales who had dominated the sector since it's inception and were as we now know miles away from approval. Dm's risk was far greater than anyone invested here, contractually they are entitled to make money. To those who bitch about them sellng it's called OTC air supply toxic financing. I for one do not give a rat's azz if they take profit, if Implant executes it will not be a factor in time and they can get off this snake pit exchange.
All down to perspective. A year from now lot's of folks could be thinking the shares they bought at $3 looked savant like. What did those cats that bought at .25 three years earlier know that Wall St didn't?
Very true. I think we will shortly see what they have been brimming in confidence over the last few months. Very exciting time to be a shareholder.
