NT doctrine is the most important thing for the born again child of God. Nothing comes a close second.
As an American the constitution and Bill of Rights are what we are governed by and the most important governing documents for liberty of it's citizens.
I think Christians should run for office, since that has nothing to do with the libs argument about separation of church and state.
I think Christians should vote and stand up for biblical standards.
I think Christians should go to war against foreign enemies if they are in the military or able to serve.
I think the draft should be brought back.
With that said, those are not the primary duty of a Christian. God comes before country
I enjoy the board
Well then you don't know what a Christian is.
Still don't have any scripture huh?
Ah, so when one cannot argue the merits, one descends to insults. lol
Well, it's obvious you may think you know the bible, but you only mouth the words, but have not studied the scripture 2 Tim 2:15
You don't bow to the globalists; by preaching the word of God and reaching the lost.
When they locked down, we stayed open. They crossed the line when God commanded Christians to worship and preach the words of God.
Maybe you should stick with what you know, and not with what you don't?
Again, give me 1 scripture where a Christian is commanded to do that?
Here is the duty of a Christian:
2 Tim 4: 2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
[4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
[5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Acts.8
[25] And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
Acts.14
[7] And there they preached the gospel.
[21] And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
Acts.16
[10] And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
Rom.1
[15] So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
Rom.10
[15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Rom.15
[19] Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
[20] Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:
Rom.16
[25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
1Cor.1
[17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1Cor.9
[14] Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
[16] For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
[18] What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
1Cor.15
[1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2Cor.2
[12] Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
2Cor.10
[14] For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:
[16] To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.
2Cor.11
[4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
[7] Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
Gal.1
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
[11] But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal.2
[2] And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
Gal.3
[8] And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Gal.4
[13] Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
Col.1
[23] If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
1Thes.2
[9] For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
Heb.4
[2] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
1Pet.1
[12] Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
[25] But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
1Pet.4
[6] For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Oh, good grief. How many marches have you been involved in?
And how do you know some Christians have not been at peaceful protests?
Ok. Now what do you think Christians should do?
Well, tell me what you are doing and what you think a Christian should do??
You must not reading my posts. lol Are you one of those FBI plants that are trying to get people to incriminate themselves?
"Jesus whipped the sellers right out of the church didn't he?" Nope. He drove from out of the temple for selling sacrifices, which they were not supposed to do. That had nothing to do with standing up against government'
"You have to represent. What are you standing for if you stand for nothing?"
Tell me what you think that encompasses?
"Do you not believe that God expects us to protect our Christian way of life even if that means defensively?"
No
Not one scripture commands a Christian to do what you say. Not one
I believe a Christian should vote, speak up against evil, defend their country in war. But not to do any vengence of their own
Would you like Christians to go out and violently protest and break things to show their Christianity.
Did Christ defend himself before the rulers of Israel or Rome?
Did the apostles defend themselves before the rulers by violence or rioting?
Just show me the scripture that says to? Just 1
A Christian soldier is to endure hardness for Jesus Christ, not America LOL
Here is what a Christian is supposed to do:
1Tim.2
[1] I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
[4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
[5] For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Show me where God said to? As I said, as an American I do, but not in the name of Christ. In the name of Christ I preach the gospel to the lost
Show me in the scriptures, where a Christian in the NT defended their country? Or is commanded to defend their country?
Now as an American I can, but that has absolutely nothing with being a Christian. That is not our primary duty, it is our American duty.
BTW gospel preaching churches are never commanded to get into politics or defend any nation. They are to preach the word of God and win the lost to Christ.
Now if you have some scripture that says otherwise, let me see it
