I don't remember the other thing.
W.E.J. I think my wording was wrong...
I didn't mean to infer that you were going on our behalf, I meant, as you said...Ask questions on our behalf.
Sorry about the confusion.
Meme, and all.....
I have been named Chairman to the WLGS Board right here at INVESTORS HUB !!
Check out what I have done with the iBOX there...
http://www.investorshub.com/beta/board.asp?board_id=235
Using Favorites, the iBOX, and more...
How do I set my favorites (board marks, person marks)?
To set a Person Mark: Go to the Profile of the person you want to Person Mark. Click "Add A Person Mark." They will be added to your Favorites page.
To set a Board Mark: Go to the Board you want to Board Mark. On the bottom right of the opening iBox, click "Add Board Mark." The board will be added to your Favorites page.
How do I hide that huge opening box full of information at the beginning of the thread?
We call this the iBox (info, intro, investor box). At the bottom right of the iBox, click on "Hide iBox." This will hide the info and take you directly to the posts from now on, until you hit "Show iBox." ***Depending on the thread, you may want to keep it open at all times, since the Chairman may use it as a tool to keep the DD fresh.
(I will keep the iBOX current! dpb5)
What and where are the search boxes?
There is a main red search box in the middle of the main portal page. There is also a second search box that is at the bottom of every page throughout the site. They both have the same functions.
Functions of the search boxes:
Go2Ticker - use this if you know the ticker symbol for a stock or the unique ticker for a club. This will take you directly to the specific board, by ticker.
Subjects - when this is selected, you search all of the board titles.
Members - when this is selected, you can search the member database by alias name.

Investors Hub FAQ...Please Read...
Good Morning Everyone,
FattMatt, the webmaster of InvestorsHub, has officially made me the Chairman of this Board.
As Chairman, I need two Directors to help moderate this board. If you would like to volunteer, please email me @ dpb5@webtv.net
Six members of this board have already signed up for the CHAIRMAIL FEATURE of this board. I just sent out the first Chairmail to those six members. Don't be left out. Join Chairmail today!!
Someone on that other board was asking if anyone had an extensive list of email addys for WLGS Longs. My personal list totals over 50 investors at this point, but by signing up for Chairmail, this list will made available to all. Although not tested as yet by me, I believe that it will work just like a NewsGroup and that you could reply to a ChairMail and all members of ChairMail will see your reply in their email. I am able to see a complete list of Chairmail members at all times, and will do my best to remain alert for unwanted members.
Here is a list to Frequently Asked Questions that explain a whole lot more about what INVESTORS HUB is all about....

Mike, All I Got Was A URL......
I wanted the PIZZA!!!! LOL!
gnite.
OK! LOL! Case closed then. You finally had the once in an Internet Lifetime to use those [ and ] keys!
Now, where is that KEY that makes Pizza Hut deliver a Meat Lovers' Pizza to me at THIS HOUR?
OT: Carpenter......that's weird.....
I thought ALL keyboards today have the [ and the ] keys! Yours don't????
I don't know how to answer you on this, can anyone else here possibly assist?
dpb5
Forget that prior post and answer me this...
How is everyone this very EVE OF A NEW MILLENIUM?
As I type this, I look upon a white screen and I watch diligently as EACH KEY that I type enters the field.
Quite amazing stuff, no?
NO!!!! It is NOT amazing.
It's the epitaph of the SPACE AGE, Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread, "ujustgottahaveit", Internet!
Yawn. Stretch.
The Internet. Quite the huggable thing, no?
I knew you'd say YES! You do that ALL THE TIME!
You think that just because you can hit a keyboard key that you have some kind of royal blood in you.
I understand. I think the same.
"Gentlemen", the Corporal said as he lowered his cap to his side, "The Internet is NOT ABOUT understanding, ....it is about participating. Each of you, in your turn, will develop tactical skills that will help you in your quest to understand the mission. You will be misled and misguided. You will learn to live with sorrow. Your very existence will be misery. The challenge is up to you. You have a choice today to believe that the Internet is merely a 'passing fancy' or a vehicle that will propel unexplicable wealth for a few lonely investors that scatter 'this speck of Earth that we call home' into MultiMillionaires."
"Mickey, **** and LOAD!"
"Goofy, shaddupandlisten!"
"EISNER..............you ever gonna get it right, boy?"
Happy New Year ......and NEW MILLENIUM....to ALL my friends who still hold out hope!

Carpenter, I hadn't thought about the issuance of new shares in the same context as the necessity for more shares in order for the Unit Investors to be able to convert to shares due to the current low price.
I thought we would need more shares issued for OTHER reasons, like an IPO perhaps!
Thinking out loud, (which is all we are ever doing on these boards, right?), how would the Unit Investors ever possibly be able to convert to shares, if further shares are not autorized AND available?
Along these lines, if WE DO authorize more shares, than the Unit Investors would likely be more happy, knowing that they can convert to a large number of shares, even at this price or LOWER.
BUT, if we do NOT authorize more shares, it seems to me that the only way that the Unit Investors would be happy would be due to a HIGHER STOCK PRICE than today.
Is my thinking correct, or flawed here?
I am wondering when we will receive a PROXY for the vote on this issue.
W.E.J. .....would you be willing to start an Official Question List from this Board to use at the Shareholders' Meeting that you said you were attending on our behalf?
I'm not so sure I am in favor of issuing more Authorized Shares or not, now. hmmmmmm!
Carpenter, very well said.
Nice to see the whole debenture issue stated with both positives and negatives in such a concise format. Great Job!
Well, Happy New Year everyone.
2000 is almost behind us now, and so is all the inquiries of negativity of the past year regarding WLGS by PMAN.

WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES!!!!!!!
The list above were all things we had discussed happening for the year 2000 clear back in 1999.
And they all happened. This is what interests me the most about this company. Choosing my words carefully here, I cannot help but wonder where the price of WLGS would be today (not to mention FUNDING!!) if it wasn't for but a couple of NAYSAYERS out there.
I can only hope that Mr. Haffer and Mr. Holdridge of WLGS are reading this board (yes, I sent them the link). It is my humble opinion that there should be (if not already is happening) a thorough inquiry into the true motive of one or more of those naysayers in the past, present and future of Worldwide Wireless Communications, Inc.
I support the issuance of additional shares.
I would welcome additional terms to the current agreement with the Unit Investors should it become necessary.
I urge the Argentinian Government to recognize the great economic opportunity that Infotel brings to their nation if they would reinstate the licenses.
I am against WLGS being sold to another company and encourage many Joint Ventures instead.
What I would like in 2001......
Obviously, the return of the Argentinian license, first and foremost. Beyond that, aggressive attempt at funding by less riskier means. China and Japan Spectrum.....if this is acquired it would mean phenomenal revenues going forward. If only WLGS could get past the bearish hurdles presented in the market this past year and find a way to get Mr. Haffer more publicity on a more regular basis, the word about this (as recently called..) tiny obscure company, the faster the investing public will want to become involved.
Share value is in fact "all about perception", and I believe that WLGS has had more than its share of false perception and bad luck as it relates to the original vision and business plan.
(To steal another posters phrase...)
A Prosperous and Happy NeWLGS Year to ALL
dpb5
A VERY INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Trust me.
I just got done reading and replying to the THIRTY (not TWENTY) email messages I received today regarding THIS VERY BOARD!
Exhiliarating?
Exasperating?
Exciting?
ALL OF THE ABOVE!
Of the 30 NEW EMAILS I received today, I easily sent this link to about 23 of them!!!
The remaining seven or so, I sadly had to reply that I would NOT be able to supply the link without some further info from them.
I know...............SCARY STUFF!
There is only ONE email that I did not answer tonight. It is from a poster by the name of HAPPY!
I vaguely remember that HAPPY is one of the GOOD GUYS HERE! Am I wrong???
I was very hesitant to supply HAPPY the link and I ask for guidance.....
Beyond that, I am very happy to announce that I supplied this link to an additional TWENTY PLUS LONGS who I am confident share the same LONGTERM belief in WLGS that the rest here do.
This has been a very arduous task for me here. I am saddened to NOT have heard from JasonWeber or Spiritfeather or horswispr, AS YET!
To those who have received my email tonight and are currently reading this board, I wish to welcome you here to a board that is more civil, and I hope that we can together discern how BEST to proceed with our investment in WLGS based upon all we have known...NOW........OR IN THE PAST!
I encourage all the new arrivals to post their thoughts at this time.
Gnite,
dpb5..........THEORIGINAL!
UpperD, HONESTLY? I can only HOPE the Bashers will not find out about this board.
Rest Assured, Mr. Haffer IS aware of THIS BOARD.
EOM!!!!!! LOL!
This is GREAT!
Hi everyone. Just got home from work and was very happy to see all the activity here.
Jakeefe, I see you made it in after all. LOGIN is different that ALIAS, was that the problem?
I haven't even emailed the link to the other twenty folks who emailed me today yet, and I am off to do just that right now. I suspect the list is larger than yesterdays' 10 and todays' 20 for a total of 30 PLUS, so far.
I don't have a freakin' CLUE what the divisor is today though, sorry! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! :)
I'll be back later to post some comments...
Thanks to all for the support.
Proving the reason to post here...
Yea, I know, I was going to bed. LOL!
I just took a quick peek back to the RB Board.
It jumped out to me. A post Porsche just made tonight. He referenced a post made on the WLGS LONGS BOARD. As I said, there are MANY reasons that we should not post even on that board. Porsche relishes in lurking, searching, crossing our "I"s and dotting our "T"s...LOLOL!
He'll find ANY REASON to POST. Any.
I'd appreciate someone explaining that to JasonWever for me. My intent is NOT to destroy the board he created there.
http://www.ragingbull.altavista.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=WLGS&read=58976
NOW...........Gnite!
Inviting other posters here...
Please, feel free to do so!
I only ask that you take caution, and be relatively sure that it is not ....well.......you know!
I don't have the email addys of patwrk, JasonWeber, Damien, Spiritfeather, horswispr, rightprice, LOVEWLGS (whom as you know I have been trying to contact) amongst some others who I would be very happy to have here, so if any of you DO, please send them the link. (Sorry if I have left out any longs here that I should have mentioned....been a VERY LONG DECEMBER here!)
And, TDOSS3, do any of you have HIS Email Addy? (He is the one who first told me about WLGS!)
I'm anxious to develop a Community here that makes sense. Something we can all be proud of. And NO, we don't always have to post here. You'll probably see MY BIG MOUTH still on the RB Board...keeping Porsche in check!!!
Gnite!
Deeper Discussions.....
Regarding Mohammed Ali Guidfar's resignation from the board...
I was disappointed that the 10K didn't explain WHY he left. That is why I posted the speculation that I did on the RB board that it was very possibly so that the funding we have long anticipated may finally come to fruit. From what I know of Arabian Custom, it is my opinion that ALJ wanted Mohammed to sit on the board and get all the inside scoop! I hope my analysis of this is correct. Time will tell.
Number of Shareholders....
I remember the website boasting that Mr. Haffer had grown the investor base to over 11,000 and I was surprised when I read today that as of Sept. 30, 2000, there were only 269 INVESTORS! Yes, 269. Period. What does that tell us? What SHOULD that tell us? To me, it tells us that during the large spike in price in April 1999, investors poured into WLGS in anticipation. JUST LIKE ME! Now, some 17 months later, it paints the picture that many of those were only in for the quick buck, the fast pop, etc. It saddens me to think that people invest this way. HOWEVER........what I now wonder is just what it will take to really get the news out about WLGS!!
This company is dramatically, undeniably different, than when I first bought at beginning of May 1999, right?
I think that the recent REUTERS debacle is clear evidence of how the stock can be manipulated by bad news. On the other hand, I simply HAVE to commend WWWC for their professional poignant manner in which they handled it. The "winner of the match" does not have to be the one wearing the BIGGEST GLOVES!
The Press Release regarding McDonalds', Compaq, and MARKETING PROSPECTS is astounding!
The Press Release regarding Sonny Rath joining the BOD is "frosting on the cake"! ('ceptin for that mysterious Mohammed resignation)
All in all, here is my take. I truly like this company. Oh, there was a time, back when WLGS dribbled DOWN to .75 a share that last round, that I hated to even think about it. But now? Now I wish I had a GAZILLION DOLLARS or so. If I did, I wonder if Doug would mind if I owned 51%! *grin
Now that I (hopefully) have your attention...
Isn't this nice. Here we have a place we can honestly discuss WLGS in a civil atmosphere.
The only thing that concerned me about the WLGS Longs Board was that PMAN and PJ and all those other bashers could read THAT board and then twist our words on the Regular WLGS Board at Raging Bull.
I cannot stress enough how cautious everyone who reads and posts here are about giving out this link.
WLGS IMHO has clearly been manipulated. I don't know IF IF IF IF IF (lol) it was specifically by anyone posting on Raging Bull, but manipulated it HAS BEEN!
Mr. Haffer has shown great strength in growing this business plan in the last two years. He has struggled through "SPEEDBUMPS" in the last two years that many other companies would die to have hit SO FAST for a company in DEVELOPMENT STAGE!
Since it's official now, and I feel comfortable in posting it here, without fear of being branded an insider....
Over the last two months I embarked on a mission (right after the WLGSLongsGetTogether) to determine just WHO owned the WLGS.COM name! It turns out that it was owned by a company called OnlineSales.com.
OnlineSales.com is a Company in the very business of buying URL names with clear potential for resale.
Without disclosing to you all the details, I am proud to announce that I have completed all the necessary steps to securing that the WLGS.COM name will very soon belong to Worldwide Wireless Communications, Inc.
It took longer to achieve than I hoped it to, with my very busy work schedule...but it's ALMOST HERE!
Just today, Ginger from OnlineSales.com emailed me to say that the WWWC NAME has now been added to the Database. Next step is for the addition of the WWWC Corporate Address, and THEN the SERVER NUMBERS! This should all be complete in the next three to five days!
Check any Domain Name Registrar Website...
http://www.register.com (for one).....to watch the progress.
Once complete, Adam Holdridge, webmaster for WWWC will then be able to copy the WLGS.NET and WLGS.ORG websites onto the ALL NEW WLGS.COM
Enough 'technobabble'....on to deeper discussions...
See next post.
Hello all Raging Bull Posters,
And welcome to the WLGS Board at InvestorsHub.com
InvestorsHub is a pretty neat system.
You can send private emails to each other without revealing your email addy right from this Message Board! Also, the webmaster, FattMatt, who has already posted here is open to improvement suggestions.
Another group of cyber friends and I already have been posting on the DIG Board here for quite some time now. The system is very occasionally down, but not to worry, FattMatt has assured us that the problem is almost rectified, right FattMatt?
I wish you all an enjoyable "P" FREE visit here.
Put your feet up and type a spell.

Merry Christmas from me, TOO !!

Regarding the GO.COM Greeting Card I receive in my email today, I must say that I was VERY IMPRESSED!
So impressed, in fact, I decided to send it to many friends and family members for a Holiday Laugh!
Here is the email of the text I sent...(MAYBE THEY'LL ALL BUY DIG NOW???!!??...LOL!)
**************
Hi gang and Happy Holidays!!
Remember that company Infoseek that I invested in a while back? Eventually Infoseek sold itself to Disney and is now a part of the Disney Internet Group.
The Internet Group manages some of the finest and most popular websites today, including Disney.com, Family.com, MrShowbiz.com, Movies.com, ESPN.com, NHL.com, NBA.com, NASCAR.com, ABC.com, ABCNEWS.com, Moneyscope.com, and others!!!
I have believed in this company for three plus years now because I see Disney being very powerful in delivering what is known as Broadband Content over the Internet. What is that, you ask? Broadband is the higher speed delivery that will allow ultimately the ability to view movies AND TV entirely over the internet some day.
Today, I recieved in my email the Seasons' Greetings Card linked below...
It should give you a great example of how the technology is proceeding and also how Disney Animators are dedicated to this long term task !!!
I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know what you think.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled HOLIDAY! LOL!
Dave
Could it be Disney?.....
Maybe that purchase was made by Disney. Isn't there anyway on the Internet to find out?
On another note...
Maybe DISNEY is the Media Company represented in this article that just MAY be interested in buying RAGING BULL from CMGI!
Read on....

Well, DickMN, thanks to your link, I perused my way over to the new, no OLD, no NEW??? Moneyscope DIG BOARD????
I'm so very confused! LOLOL!
As far as a link, I don't think that they are ready, no ..correction...ABLE ......to share that...
One link I gathered was NOT Moneyscope, but...
MONEYSCO......
Why do they keep it so clouded in mystery?
Then again, I have to think they have been doing that for hmmmmmmmmmmm......"HOW MANY MONTHS NOW?"
Is everyone OK?
Hopefully just busy with the Holidays?
Well, my WLGS is now down to .25 a share and is worth NO MORE, and NO LESS to me than had I kept my whole portfolio in DIG! After over one and a half years!!!
This market is pathetic!
Greenspan isn't helping, at all!
I hate the new ABCNEWS page! The light blue text on Medium blue background is unreadable by me. And the stock quote feature of Moneyscope MUST be Java, and not supported by WebTV. However, they don't even bother to tell you that....when I request a quote, all I get is a page reload.
How long can DIG stay this low before delisting on NYSE????
What a crock of crap!
ABCNEWS.com IS taking forever to load.
And the new link for stock quotes just doesn't "GO" anywhere!
(only reloads the Moneyscope page!)
Friggin' morons is right, Meme!
I have just about givin' up any and all hope that DIG will ever get it right!!!!
I don't see it. WHERE is Moneyscope board?
Disney's response to AOL/TWX Merger...
LOS ANGELES (CBS.MW) -- The supposed losers in the America Online-Time Warner
merger tried to sound like winners Thursday after the Federal Trade Commission's approval of
the $111 billion merger.
Walt Disney Co. (DIS: news, msgs), Qwest Communications International Inc. (Q: news,
msgs), Yahoo Inc. (YHOO: news, msgs) and small Internet service providers all sounded notes
ranging from cautious optimism to near glee, saying the FTC's ruling accomplished what they
hoped.
The FTC ordered that America Online Inc. (AOL: news, msgs)
and Time Warner Inc. (TWX: news, msgs) keep open Time
Warner's formidable network of cable lines. The panel wanted to
ensure access to coming broadband technologies for a number of
Internet service providers, not just AOL.
In addition to a recent deal struck with Earthlink Inc. (ELNK:
news, msgs), AOL-Time Warner must open their lines to two
other service providers within 90 days, and others after that. The
FTC also is appointing a monitor to keep track of compliance.
Perhaps the most optimistic words came from the most unlikely
source: Disney. Sounding almost Al Gore-esque, the
entertainment giant offered a gracious statement after it had
strongly protested the merger throughout the approval process.
"The unprecedented open access
and non-discrimination conditions
imposed by the FTC today
represent a huge victory for
consumers and for competition,"
said Preston Padden, Disney's
executive vice president for
government relations, said in a
statement.
"With these safeguards in place, we congratulate AOL and Time Warner on their merger and
wish them well," the statement went on to say. "We look forward to working with the newly
combined company in all areas, including the development of new media."
After balking at first on a comment, Yahoo officials later echoed Disney's statement.
"The AOL and Time Warner pending merger clearly endorses
the value of the Web," the company said in a statement. Yahoo
officials said advertisers will see the Web as a legitimate
platform as a result of this deal.
But Steve Davis, senior vice president of policy and law at
Qwest, was a little more cautious. He reserved comment until he
saw further word from the FTC on the conditions.
Davis agreed that Time Warner, the nation's second-largest cable
provider, is going further to open its lines than any other cable firm. But he said it might be a
small victory.
"Saying this goes farther than any other deal is a pretty low bar," Davis said. "(But) it's an
opportunity to get the issue to the forefront."
The FTC voiced strong concerns about the ability to keep
broadband access open to all users.
"I believe this was an illegal merger that was remedied by this
order," said Richard Parker, director of the commission's bureau
of competition. "There will never be a time AOL has a
first-mover advantage on this platform."
At least one small Internet service provider said he was
encouraged by the deal. Steve Heins, director of marketing for
NorthNet Inc., a small Internet provider in Oshkosh, Wis., has been a vocal opponent to the
merger in recent weeks. Heins has sent a number of letters on the deal to various media outlets
warning of the deal's dangers.
"I think it is more than we expected to get two or three days ago," Heins said of the FTC
conditions. "I think our efforts paid off."
Heins said there were eight provisions that he was pleased with, including the creation of a
monitor, an enforceable right to negotiate access, First Amendment protections for content and
a complaint hotline direct to the FTC.
