For something you state the street hates, during the current down market for stocks, where the best companies in the world are down 25-60%, the market cap of nwbo and the sp have been relatively the most stabile.
And we can plainly see the check marks ticking off on the way to approval.
And let’s be real, the patient/families/doctors facing GBM are going to demand access to the only treatment prolonging lives with the best safety and quality of life!
Not even BP money will stop them.
Look at what’s happening in the streets of China when people figure out what is helping or hurting them.
By the time this all plays out we will all love management imo :
Complete major ph3 trial - check
Meet endpoints validation- check
Publish peer reviewed JA in JAMA - check
Acq/dev best manufacturing tech - check
Certify/license manufacturing - check
Present trial data at SNO - check
Apply for approvals - in progress
Shorts/status quo dealt with - in progress
Word getting out re treatment - underway
Please note there has been distortion, misinformation, even threats, all along this time trying to thwart the success of a treatment that helps patients and their families to survive and is now validated!!!
Pump (that’s right, you no longer are Sir) you turned out to be a great disappointment imo, no longer value your comments
No, it’s manipulation imo orchestration coordinated with the contra management gambit to damage nwbo/shares.
Read up on typical tactics, the change management ploy is a basic tactic intended to hurt the company and share price
They probably have and will unless they get caught on the wrong side of a squeeze!
Yes it is a conundrum (correct word) wrapped in a paradox
Maybe the extremely high posting activity is due to the increased excitement that is building, anticipating that we are getting oh so closer to fruition of the first meaningful advance in GBM treatment in 20-30 years, and for investors a grand return on investment commensurate with a new SOC for GBM and immunotherapy platform that holds real promise for many solid tumors and inoperable tumors!
Whether we get more news tomorrow, next week, next month, our excitement is awakening that it’s happening soon!
It’s game over for the negative narratives, and it’s plain to see the ability of the otc market players to manipulate a stock price until they no longer can, which we all hope is soon!
Things that make you go hhhmmmmm?
Nothing better than a dose of extraordinary common sense logic!
Thanks
Let’s not put the cart before the horse, but I like your positivity!
Yes, licensing the IP would be like that except in a pure licensing deal the IP owner receives the compensation without having to make anything.
The revenue from sales of murcidencel is separate in my understanding.
Thank you for your message as it helps in not beating myself up as much. While the afflicted bears the heaviest toll by far, as caregivers and trusted children we also accumulate stresses and regrets, but such is life for too many.
LP and LL and LG and others know the toll full well and they were capable of doing something and carrying it out!
I’m not going to make their challenges greater at the dawn of this new era after enduring a long darkness with the proponents of the darkness still trying to drag them down from reaching success.
Sorry, ihub appears to be dropping parts of my, yours, and others posts so I didn’t get enough of the question to try an answer
They have been quietly getting the job done and anticipating the right developments in regulatory aspects, manufacturing at scale and economically, and holding out for the actual 5 year stats as opposed to projected estimates, among other things, while also raising funds along the way and dodging grenades.
I’m as frustrated as most in waiting with the sparsest shareholder communications ever, however I believe the smartest person in the room and her strong team are getting the job done and the proof is in the achievement!
It’s been a roller coaster ride for sure and not a fun one but every time I rack my brains against the available information and go through the logic, I come up with tremendous risk-reward and the risks are in decline lately!
The keytruda side effects and potential toxicity was why I didn’t push my mom to try keytruda, opting instead to stop treatments and try to get some months of no treatments/ctscans/side effects before all the metastases would take their toll.
I’ll probably second guess that decision for a long, long time, but the risks of either sudden death, blood counts and infections, pneumonia, etc without hope of significant life extension seemed like a significant risk of shortening and/or degrading the time left.
Had there been more hope that some percentage of people treated would have increased survival with reduced toxicity then we probably would have tried keytruda in that it might not seem so much like playing Russian roulette.
Shouldn’t be too much of an issue if multiple licensing deals, and they all use murcidencel in their combo treatments so everyones successful combo equals murcidencel revenue plus licensing fees.
They, nwbo, will find ways to at least partner and get the leverage of their partner’s infrastructure and sales.
When you hold the enabling ingredient and the IP, you are an attractive dance partner
Warren Buffet commented a number of years ago that Berkshire votes in support of management’s recommendation because they don’t want to interfere.
If they have a problem with a company/management that’s significant enough they get out of the investment.
Disrupting LP and Company’s plans now would be a self inflicted unforced error, and given what has now been accomplished and that nwbo has identified the remain8ng steps to approvals and executing them, I’m giving nwbo full support knowing their success is our success!
Good points!
I love happy endings!
That dude jumping out from behind bushes to scare tourists, to separate them from their money, could it have been AF ?
My recollection is that this board had certainly discussed the probable raising of the AS from a good while ago and even commented, as now, that it would need to be coupled with achieving good news as we have now.
The negative narratives have been recycled over time as well, prompting repetition of the debunking as well.
It was lovely after the JA was published in the JAMA Oncology because the negative posts were suspended for a day or two.
Today, a gentleman traveling wearing tights and a buttoned coat with a curly hat atop curly silver hair, wouldn’t get a second look
In fact I encountered a couple of revolutionary characters wearing red coats and triangle hats in San Francisco while I was on a business trip in the late 1970’s, along with a trumpet player in a full gorilla suit at Fisherman’s Wharf!
She’s doing the motha of all commercialization right now!
There’s the bs enron mention, not the facts that LPs part of Enron was solid and well respected and LP left Enron before the bad stuff in the other part of Enron came out
At the risk of being too repetitive,
1. LP, MB, AB, LG, and directors, have much more common shares and equivalents than any of us individually, with more to come in bonuses
2. Their real reward for all the years of their efforts is directly proportional to the value of their holdings
3. We common shareholders benefit if the insiders benefit in proportion as well
4. LP literally is expert in bringing biotech to commercialization, IP, finances and M&A, agreements, and is known and connected in government and NIH circles
I never bet on the ponies, however I like the looks of this horse investment, especially now. Putting the horse before the cart, so to speak
All imo not investment advice you do you!
Master of the cogent quotient (zeppelin fans)
Let’s remember that whenever a company is applying for RA approval, especially with the FDA, it’s safest to minimize external behaviors to avoid an unforced error of inadvertently running afoul of the RA.
You don’t act in big flashy ways or attract the wrong attention to yourself or the RA, nor talk/act/front run too flashy, nor take away the RA’s thunder or give the appearance of cockiness or undue influence….
Get the drift?
Very false narrative dense propaganda is in the air trying to cover the sweet smell of success me thinks
LP is not causing dilution now, it was already preprogrammed by issuing the options and other convertibles to common, which have to be covered.
Even if there is some new dilution it is par for the course for pre revenue companies since operations have to be funded by stock and/or debt.
LP has made real efforts to minimize dilution in the last years, and as has been noted already this raise in AS is very measured.
No, it’s not a deal or 25% reduction in value.
Increase of authorization doesn’t automatically increase shares outstanding
Interesting indeed!!!
And I scanned right by it to the list below.
Great observation, nothing gets by you!
PM
Interesting possibilities!
Also, we have known for some time that the authorized shares limit had to be raised for the reasons already stated.
Sometimes the most obvious indicator of inevitable value creation or at least that management will make every effort to increase shareholder value is management’s alignment with shareholders via their insider ownership!!!
Looking at LP holding 2.8% of the common and gobs of warrants/options representing millions more shares. Similar holdings by the other senior management in shares and options, and even more to be awarded upon certain milestones and events, means complete alignment with respect to increasing the share price or value.
It’s that simple and obvious that their financial success means our financial success!
Now I’ve believed for a long time that LP wants to deliver benefits to the patients more than financial benefits. The results of the phase 3 and the continuation of increasing benefits to patients indicated by the combo treatment work means Mission 1 is being delivered on.
The financial rewards and strengthening the company to prosper and deliver on the potential of the platform is Mission 2 but necessary to sustain Mission 1.
Does anyone truly believe LP and company has come this far, and with so much personal commitment and aligned huge ownership interest, and not get it done?
LP is well noted for saying Go Big or Go Home, and my opinion and money is on nwbo succeeding big!
Regarding the ASM, if one assumes getting one done in 2022 is important and probably best not to be exposed to consequences, and if approximately 30 days advance notice is required, and the peer reviewed JA was felt necessary to have been published in a top journal, then you are left scheduling the ASM for one of the last non-holiday days of the year, hence December 30th.
Yes, although biased to see things through rose colored glasses, management’s relative restraint in a situation they wouldn’t want to face again in the not too distant future lends some support to the JV/BO rumors.
Yes I am in favor of the increased authorization, especially when told the alternative is a R/S (aka the kiss of demise)
At this point I’m beyond unbridled optimism, selling one of my better stocks to pick up thousands more nwbo.
I will need survival training from PM in the off chance things don’t end well
In other words there s’mores to this story
Can we join around the campfire too?
I’ll bring a guitar and we can sing kumbayah (sp?)
Seriously, thank you for sharing the intelligence, I can certainly use some
Avoiding a R/S is most important to shareholders interests and value!!!
Authorization of additional shares is a very common step taken by pre revenue companies.
Room for issuing up to 500 million shares
Thanks, and by chance I also had a relative who was like the Fonze and the life of every party. All the girls were drawn to him and all the guys admired him, complete with his Chevy convertible, great hair, and fit physique. He was a bit older than me and I marveled at him, including his ability to bring home not one, but two beautiful flight attendants at a time!
Fast forward, he marries the nicest most beautiful girl and has two lovely young daughters by around 40, when he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and looked like 75 at his funeral.
I know we all have these stories and many here on this board are survivors and in treatment and are heroes in their resiliency and attitudes. I salute you and want so much for cancers to be cured or at least rendered chronic but livable.
Although a long shot, maybe the mercenaries and manipulators will think about the indiscriminate scourge cancer, and GBM, is to so many families including their own, and relent in their ways.
At least we can dream
It’s a Small world. I live 2-3 miles from there and believe I know the cemetery, and the Whole Foods I shop at is at Chapel Hill and Route 35.
Moved here from Brooklyn 36 years ago and raised our kids here, and have loved it.
Hopefully with the comfort of increased retirement nest egg from our major investment in NWBO, we will move into and enjoy our new home in Alpharetta and play with our grand pups and hopefully grandchildren to come, with Gods grace!
