I think we all agree on two things:
Financing and audited financials need to occur. The audit costs $, but is certainly a priority. I believe Francine is working both issues. Apparently, had problems with past accountant.
At the same time though, we must keep production up, look for new customers, and increase sales. This can and must occur, too. Hopefully, we will lock a contract with the new casino, for example.
Wish I knew more regarding our sales with the Chinese. What a great opportunity to sale baby water to a country with still a one child rule in many areas.
All this speculation, most just that. Has anyone actually contacted the company and received any real news. Realize we are in the "dark" period, whatever absurdity this means. Either, OCLG is going to make it or not, silence for investors is not helping.
Doubt a r/s. A good CEO would not do right now, could not sustain price. Like so many pennies this thing would plummet quickly. A good decision would be to lower shares another way, ie, buy back. We will see what this CEO is really made of soon.
I have asked the questions in the past, no answers.
What quality/ready to sale bearings have been produced?
What is the inventory?
Have any been sold? IF not, why not?
Are they or are they not producing QUALITY parts on a daily basis. Simple question.
We had nothing, now we have something! Atleast, they are alive. By the way, this firm is registered with the SEC.
That's what my doc told me last week, vitamin water. I suppose the Northeast is full of it. Too bad we can't move those states to the Souhwest! As kids we grew up drinking out of the bubbler, faucet, and hose, the good old days!
These are exactly the issues we should be discussing. I will add:
- revenue needed to update plant and increase capacity
- need to increase staff to cover all company matters and free Francine to accomplish CEO responsibilities (12 hour days get long).
- review sales staff, do we have the best quality people in these positions (I have no idea)
- Need a quality PR person; knows the business, trustworthy, and savy with media
- Need a quality accountant
Lastly, please moderators: all comments threatening, inappropriate, off topic, demeaning, and personal attacks should be deleted. Not my rules.
Good idea! Let's make them realistic and doable. Suggest we compile our ideas together and chat regarding those we agree to before submitting to Francine. Anotherwords, lets brainstorm the heck out of this and give Francine some support. We can make a difference here!
Wish we did have an annual meeting. But, based on what I researched today, pinks with a limited amount of shareholders, income, and dependent on individual state requirements may not be required to do so. Francine has addressed this, you disagree. Obviously, the more transparent a company is with the SEC and shareholders, the better.
Linda, first of all I'm not a flipper, dont have time or interest in doing so. Look for companies for long term. Your question regarding conflict of interest. I do not have a legal background or all the facts and knowledge regarding Boreal history, so not in a position to accuse. Lastly, if CEO decides to have a shareholder meeting, I would attend, only as a positive member.
Honestly, I don't know. Have a small investment, but keeping my eye on this one. Would seem like a productive option for both companies, but alot involved in a merger, and skeptical of BTZO financial situation for a prospective candidate. Though it could happen.
Appreciate the input and background. I have been here awhile but not at. 18 and. 05. Of course I'm in here to make some $. But, also because the quality water is needed almost everywhere, and we have obligation to use it. There are many competitors, but if we get Boreal going again, only good things will happen. Wow, .18, unh? For now, we need to make those sales to the Chinese, and UAE, and continue adding customers in the Northeast. Not sure of many things; ie, plant technology, capacity, why decrease in staff, accounting problems, quality of sales staff, etc. I know little, but believe Francine will not quit on this.
Suprised a large investor or company has not emerged as insider, merger, or buy out. Too much to offer here, but without $.
Linda, it is obvious you have personal issues with Boreal management, some may or may not be valid. Suggest you take these concerns off line to Boreal. IF, mistakes occured in the past, and we do not know, many of us are more concerned regarding today, tomorrow and the future. Honestly, you are not helping us. Your comments are detracting possible investors, is this what you want. No one has the right to stop you from pursuing your personal investigation, but this is not the forum. Do you want Boreal to succeed? So many of us do, we see the limitless potential. At this point, we need you to help us in the future and not spend all your obvious talents on the past. Please give it some thought, You, the others on this board, and more to come...This company and Francine, unless she chooses, are not going away. When the financing occurs, and PPS goes up, be ready.
Most, if not all, stock brokers advised against investing in BLTA years ago. Many did anyway. So many cons, mismanagement, and possible political influence, made this a no win situation. Only hope, and think it may be too late, is for a sell out, and start over, if anything to sell. I am disgusted by some of the "pump" we repeatedly got from some in the know. This would make a great book/movie; intrigue, corruption, drama, conspiricy, etc.
Respect your opinion, but do not agree. Why do you continually post negativity, without any substance and continue here if you have these feelings. Often wonder what is a person's motive? If we get a good financing deal to pay mortgage, this thing turns around quick. We have real opportunies abroad, and in my opinion, have not tapped the Northeast. Hang in there! We may soon wish we had loaded at 2s.
You are absolutely right! It's a cool word to use, everybody does it. Many of these penny stocks are not scams, just individuals with a new idea/patent trying to make a go of it. Obviously, most need $, and sell many shares, and are in debt. Does that make them "scams". Sometimes yes and no. But not 95% of them, as often indicated.
Some of us have a larger investment than others, the larger amount invested, likely the more frustrated and even anger. We go into the weekend as we begun the week. I'm happy to see some volume, regardless who is buying...sure beats 0s all week. When news comes out, doubt it will be fluff/pumping. Too much on the line, and sure Francine realizes it. Willing to wait this out to get some good news, facts, and hopefully a solid plan. It will not all happen overnight, financing must come first.
Completely, agree with you. Not a pretty situation, and everyone knows it. No one, including the CEO has asked anyone to stop voicing their questions and concerns, however this board should begin deleting those that are harrasing, name calling, or threatening. It is not my call, but they are wrong and unproductive. As always, it is each investors personal decision when to buy and sell. If I ever get some news, facts, I will certainly pass it on. For now, wait on financing, the debt is reasonable. We need this, first! What I have read, some deals can occur, need to clean up our house first. Your opinions do matter, I for what it's worth read everyone. But, not in favor of continually suggesting over throwing the CEO, rather telling her we support her and what can we do to help? We might be suprised!
RJB, truly understand your frustration, and I'm not going try to peruade you in any one direction. I know nothing more than any other investor. What I do know is our negativity only hurts the company and potential investors. This is a fact! Selling the company, and continuing to fight the CEO, are not solutions. Francine is apparently working financing, let her do her job. My gut feeling is something good will come soon, just hang in. It is always tough in life we when we cant control things, in this case our investment, reason for our frustration.
Seems company continually has too high operating expenses based on income/sales, quarter after quarter. Either sales increase/expansion or need to streamline company and cut some administrative costs. Hard to expand with current finances, as they have experienced.
Besides the obvious failed management and heavy promotion by a few self promoted "big shots", always wondered if politics was also involved. Did BLTA really ever have a chance to fly into Russia, in these times?? We may never know....
Quite simple, no sales, "reorganization", substantial debt, and reputation concerns. On the bright side, could explode, if they have quality parts. No one on this board seems to know for sure.
To all: Personally, I appreciate the different tone we are using in addressing Francine and asking questions and requesting information. Believe we are getting a little ahead of ourselves presenting Francine with merger talk. It is an idea only at this point. She has stated working on financing. That is the first step here. Compared to so many other penny stocks Boreal's financial status is much better, although, clearly we have a major challenge. Personally, I'm not in favor of selling this company. Giving away such an important resource, and what would happen to us, the investors. Truth is, no one knows for sure. Lets get some financing, pay our immediate debt, and get our accounting squared away. We need to trust Francine and be patient. She may be overwhelmed at this time, but doubt she will quit on her company. Call me idealistic, my mother does.
Hi Janet,
Good news! Agree, she is communicating. I think she cares, is working on financing, is frustrated too, and based on number of employees, may be overwhelmed. Just my opinion. If true, least she needs is all of our negativity. Let's see what happens. Appreciate your note.
Francine has answered us, like responses or not, atleast we should respect the fact she has. It is time now to quit fighting her and work with her. Said it before, none of us have all the facts and know all the history. I believe she is trying hard to secure financing, it takes time. Do we want the company to survive and prosper, or more interested in our personal agendas? Remember, we are commenting for hundreds of investors, and frankly I'm embarrased for some comments made here. They certainly have not been positive for the casual reader to this site. Time to let Francine do her job, and support her.
Why does this company not communicate with shareholders? Too busy, we are irrelevant, nothing to communicate? Has anyone corresponded and actually received useful information. It's as if we are funding an imaginary machine. At least a periodic update would be nice. Takes 15 minutes to prepare!
I'm like a doubting Thomas, I want to believe but will need to see. Lot's of talk but little evidence of any TPAC success. Time for some real successes without fluff or the reputation and future of this company dwindles. I have hope, what else can we embrace.
Excellent points, this is what we need! I have no idea if this merger could occur legally, but if so, it could be a potentially very strong source of water in the Northeast and the financial support to be competitive internationally. Currently, Boreal, due to finanicial constraints, is not.
My question regarding pictures of company said nothing of fraud intent, simply, does anyone have photos of company? Most companies are very willing to share. I have seen none.
Come on now, hope none of you are actually taking this seriously! Like a little humor but this is poor, because not intended to be.
Good question, cant answer. I did not see this coming. Just thinking of possible realistic and best solutions we could provide CEO, as a consensus amongst investors. Appreciate your note.
Are there any pictures\photos of HQs in LA, and plant in China. How about a pic of manufacturing line, employees, parts, etc. This is not classified, someone should have, if not we should request.
Since Boreal is in financial troubles, yet has so much potential, would like to a merger consideration of the two companies. No idea how doable this is. Less span of control necessary for Francine, one good financial officer, two operation chiefs, a few in sales, one qualified PR specialist, and workers. Select experienced and qualified board members, three. She would need technical and maintenance support, as well. This would provide her advice and counsel, opportunity to delegate responsibilty, and someone who could do her public relations. The sales opportunities likely exist, however, she cant do this all by herself. By merging the two companies, this reorganization, could occur in 4-6 months. What do you think?
Most are valid questions in my opinion. I believe and soon Francine will answer. Consider though at this particular time, if she is working to gain financing, amongst many other CEO responsibilites, does not leave hours in a day to respond to all of us. We all deserve an update, but like all CEOs it is on their time. Thousands of companies do not respond to individual investors. Does not necessarily make it right in this case, but doubt she has a full time PR team. Personally, I could care less who this "James" is. I concerned for the company, employees, and serious investors like you and I, and apparently many more.
Now, that is an appropriate note! If we all responded in this way believe we would be responded to. We have all lost $ and certainly no one enjoys it. Boreal can and will become prosperous again. I believe Francine needs assistance. In the meantime, my suggestion is, when news comes out, and it will be positive, we investors flood all social media regarding all the outstanding attributes of this company and its potential. Keep it factual and true. Want to see the PPS increase! Of course, news would need to have substance to maintain the price. Thanks for your note, I too feel your frustration. We are nearing much brighter days!
Whether it is or is not Francine, point well taken. She has been harrased, on this board and likely in other ways. We dont want or need to be the ones doing it! It is inhumane and can result in criminal charges if threatening. Furthermore, this type of communication is negative for potential investors who read. I guess some of you dont respect my recent posts, if you are involved time to change and become positive and attract interest in this company again. My last post regarding this issue.
That is probably true. The question is will TPAC be competitive in this market. Are they producing quality parts today? None of us seem to know. Will they secure necessary funding to continue operations 12-24 months out?? Will the reorganization plan be effective? So many questions, and in reality, based on what I have read, none of us know.
Would you after all the personal attacks, ridicules, and inappropriate comments. She will update us after whatever decisions and actions she is taking. Again, almost any news will be more positive than where we are at today. Think it will be financing, we'll see.
Appreciate your comments, and I have followed all that company talk. Believe my questions are valid, with or without reconstruction efforts. Are we producing quality parts today competitive to sale? What are they, what is inventory, who are realistic buyers, etc. Not sure any of us really know, or would like to hear the real answers.
