Never said they are going to blatantly drop HCTI's name, or even any hints that may have anything to do HCTI. That would never happen in an earnings call.
However, them giving a general 2016 outlook into the company's plans for the next year as described should give a better feeling for the likelihood for a potential partner. (i.e. if they mention focusing on greener products, etc).
I refuse to buy with BMAK on ask. BMAK has killed my dreams on different plays way too many times. lol. Thus, I now avoid him all together. It's a shame because I do like the stock's products.
I believe any PR finally revealing the F500 will be done by the F500 itself (just as was sort of done with IF). In this case, news could drop unpredictably out of anywhere.
Next event I am most curious about is the SW call tomorrow... particularly because of this underlined:
"The Company will conduct a conference call to discuss its financial results for the fourth quarter, and full year 2015, and its outlook for the first quarter and full year 2016, at 11:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Participating in the call will be Sherwin-Williams’ President and Chief Executive Officer, John Morikis, along with other senior executives."
Hopefully they mention something in regards to regulatory issues (i.e. isocyanates). Or future products... if you catch my drift.
Also, I know I've posted this before but... Here's another SW/HCTI connection... I know it's a stretch, but still relevant and interesting that both moved towards the use of soybean oil in the same year.

The best way to find a friend is to have something in common.. :)
The strongest speculative connection to SW (besides the concurrent timing of PR's in the same week last year) is the following: http://rusnor.org/upload/My/2015/prezent/noniso.pptx where there is an * under a table saying "data of Sherwin Williams." I have subsequently seen this same presentation where this * was removed and instead seen it say "a major coatings manufacturer." I don't have the link offhand to the second presentation version (could this have been when NDA went into effect?). Also, the table displays testing values of NIPU. So this means that if that data row was from Sherwin-Williams, does that mean they had (Hybrid's) NIPU in their possession? That builds a stronger case.
Just because they haven't PR'ed anything yet.. doesn't mean an agreement execution hasn't already taken place. (i.e. they never promised a PR within 30 days, just the execution).
They aren't going to run out of the room the minute after inking the paper screaming DEAL DEAL rah rah yay yay with their hands up in the air yelling out windows... they are going to strategically announce it at a point mutually agreed upon with the partner for maximum benefit.
Fellow HCTI F500 stalkers.. (lol).. reminder....
Sherwin-Williams to Announce Year-End 2015 Financial Results on January 28, 2016. Yeah, the link to LBrands and Victoria's Secret is much more speculative. I only researched it because of the VS rumor that's been here for almost a year. I have evidence that both Inoac and Hwa Ching foam have supplied, or are supplying foam, to Regina Miracle (who makes VS's lingerie). However, who is the bigger supplier, or which they currently get it from today, is a little more difficult to discover.
Hwa Ching was listed at the same time as Industrial Finishes. So any connections to them have more potential strength at this time. I do believe this is the "major foam" manufacturer they describe in PR's.
In regards to Inoac, I recently found they moved their foam production to Sri Lanka in 2014: http://urethaneblog.typepad.com/my_weblog/2014/04/inoac-moves-foam-production-to-sri-lanka.html The article does mention VS. However, who's to say they didn't switch to solely Hwa Ching foam since then (especially after previous controversy with VS bra rashes, etc. Maybe they abandoned Inoac all together due to it).
My HCTI/LBrands DD was also done before I explored the PPG/PPG Paint/Glidden idea, which I now find more convincing. Not to say the LBrands possibility doesn't exist, but it's lower on my my potential list for the upcoming F500.
Ouch... What's the world record for least amount of days to get back to pre-r/s price? lol. I believe they have more results coming in this quarter (Q1 2016). They better hope for some sort of positive outcome.
Yeah... In about year.
PPG's full year 2015 net sales from continuing operations was $15.3 billion. Sherwin Williams 2014 net sales? $11.1 billion. What about LBrands for 2015 (parent corporation of Victoria's Secret)... $11.3 billion. Nike in 2015? A whopping $30.6billion.
Now... if HCTI was to even whisper one of these names, confirming a revenue-stream partnership with a company making billions of dollars, just one... could propel this to nickels and dimes. However, they claim they are in talks with multiple F500s. Multiple names, with multiple companies doing billions in sales, paired with an isocyanate restriction/ban, could easily push this past a dollar on the market perception alone, even if the O/S was still a billion shares.
Why should we believe they are working with F500's? Why should we believe they are telling the truth? Because they have legitimized their past PR claims by announcing the deal with Industrial Finishes. The credibility of their other PRs mentioning F500 companies have now been solidified, at least in my own view.
The only time I believe a RS would become a thought would be to get to the big boards... really don't think it bares any relevance at this time as this company transitions from the research to marketing phase. The only thing that should be the main focus now is establishing agreements and partnerships.
More like soon to be giant bonfire, and eventually into a four-alarm fire. :)
Awesome. Nice put-together of yesterday's easter eggs in the call. Didn't see your post before I posted.
Yep... it's exactly the kind of quote I looking for from that conference call. I just wish that the dumb big bank analysts brought up regulatory issues. Probably was too touchy of a subject I suppose. But the word alone "replacing" what's on the shelves was a giant buzz word.
A quote from the PPG conference call, in the Questions & Answers section:
"We do have an agreement with our retail partners to begin some newer branding. I don't want to get into specifics because you have to wait until you see it on the shelves. But we also have some new wins for 2016 that will require replacing some products on the shelves. So all those costs are frontloaded into Q1 prior to the paint season. And so it's a one-time cost we want to make sure you were aware of."
I want to point out one of HCTI's PR's awhile ago mentioned "big box" stores, and modifications to a major coating's manufacturer product. --> http://www.hybridcoatingtech.com/pdf/Hybrid-Coating-Enters-Into-Licensing-Agreement-With-Major-Coatings-Manufacturer-July17.pdf Now, this agreement in the PR may have become sidetracked, and taken longer than normal... but I feel it is still is related someway to the newer F500 PR released last year: http://www.hybridcoatingtech.com/pdf/Fortune_500_Agreement-4-7-15.pdf Both PR's mention modifications and commercialization of the partner's product. Speculation, of course.
450k at 0.0022.. yummy. :)
Aren't these "big" investment type people smart enough to ask about possible federal regulations and the effects on the cost of business, especially regarding the restriction of chemicals, and how they are preparing for it? OSHA is finishing up its 3-year National Emphasis Program regarding isocyanates, as well as outstanding SNURs. I'm sure it's an appropriate question.
Yep, some rebranding or something like that in the first quarter 2016? I'll have to listen to replay to hear exactly what was said.
My alarm went off for HCTI news and I got excited, but it was only one of these dumb things...
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/timing-crucial-upside-analysis-coverage-140600698.html
Remember, the F500 news were are waiting for was described as a "household brand." PPG isn't really a household brand (unless you consider their Glidden Paint division, which is my vote, see my previous posts for more info).
Otherwise, the other options we have are something related to *Hwa Ching Foam Co., Ltd*, which then you have Adidas, Nike, or Victoria's Secret, or some mattress or furniture vertical. However, Hwa Ching Foam Co., Ltd may be a separate unrelated deal, as it was presented in a separate PR from the first F500 one (seen here: https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2015/08/06/758545/10145053/en/Hybrid-Enters-Into-Definitive-Agreement-With-Large-Manufacturer.html).
Or, it could just be something out of left field we didn't see coming.
Lol. Trips tomorrow! Scam! They paid off the EPA office as well, and Oleg is really a life-like robot. Love it. Good luck, especially to all the dedicated longs. :)
Here's some polyurethane news this morning... Doesn't look related but a few keywords popped up. Always good to keep a lookout. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/3m-sell-pressurized-polyurethane-foam-140000587.html
In June 2013, OSHA began a 3-year Isocyanate National Emphasis Program:
https://www.osha.gov/OshDoc/Directive_pdf/CPL_03-00-017.pdf
http://polyurethane.americanchemistry.com/Health-Safety-and-Product-Stewardship/OSHA-NEP-Program/OSHA-Presentation-on-Isocyanates.pdf
Program has an end date of June this year, 2016... which is also the estimated month by which we will see a new ruling on isocyanates by EPA. Coincidence? I think not.
Haha... fake dump... chase chase!
Anyone who listened to half of their high school chemistry class, paired with some moderate googling skills, can determine that HCTI's soy-based, patented, completely-iso-free method far exceeds anything else available out there right now (including Dow).
Haha... Scam, trips, RS, fake EPA award, no news, dilution, run! Sell me all your shares. I'll take them all!
If the F500 releases a PR, and mentions HCTI's name anywhere in it, any small dilution left will be the equivalent to a small pebble on the track of a speeding freight train. It'll be crushed and over before you can say pennies.
Forgot to mention that but I agree that's a good possibility.
We've never really seen what this stock can do without the dilution. This thing could move extremely quick with a lot of longer longs holding tight looking for a higher exits. This thing could hit a few pennies easy on first F500 announcement alone.
Multiple F500 associations, paired with a few small cap partnerships, along with an isocyanate ban/restriction this year, and no reason this couldn't be between 50 cents to a dollar in a year, even with this share structure. All imo though.
I cannot think of a bigger catalyst in the world than loyal F500 investors running to a penny stock loading millions and millions at a time, skyrocketing this thing. Should be very interesting. Also, F500 announcement most likely will be by the F500 itself, so it will be prudent to concurrently monitor our guess F500's chatter, activity, and press during the next few weeks.
Based on everything I've read and seen, my vote is for Glidden, which is part of PPG. http://www.glidden.com/Home In fact, it's my vote for the first incoming F500 agreement we are waiting for.
Why? Because I believe that this PR: http://www.hybridcoatingtech.com/pdf/Hybrid-Coating-Enters-Into-Licensing-Agreement-With-Major-Coatings-Manufacturer-July17.pdf and this PR: http://www.hybridcoatingtech.com/pdf/Fortune_500_Agreement-4-7-15.pdf are talking about the same thing. We've established numerous connections to PPG (as opposed to SW and/or Dupont/DOW), and Glidden Paint is at Home Depot, and now Walmart. PPG is really starting to promote this brand. (get it.. "household brand"?)
They are the sponsor of the 2016 HGTV Dream Home: http://corporate.ppg.com/Media/Newsroom/2015/GLIDDEN-paint-sponsors-HGTV-Dream-Home-2016 and recently had an exhibit in Disney World: http://www.coatingsworld.com/contents/view_online-exclusives/2015-11-16/glidden-paint-unveils-colortopia-exhibit-in-innoventions-at-epcot
Nice catch. :)
Industrial Finishes was staring us in the face here (https://www.aihitdata.com/company/00A3ED8F/POLYMATE/history) since December 4th. So is Hwa Ching Foam Co., Ltd (China). This may be easier to deduct than we think. http://www.kunching.com.tw/english/relatedcompany.htm Unless his present China visit has no correlation to the current upcoming F500.
The thing I keep thinking about is that previous PRs last year said the incoming F500 name we are waiting for is a "household brand." I agree they most likely have connections/business with PPG probably, but PPG not really a household brand (unless it's Glidden Paint)... So I keep wondering who exactly is on deck to be announced? (Nike? Sherwin-Williams? LBrands? I can see those being considered household names.) imo though.
Most likely not related... but I have my radar on for all coatings news... this out a bit ago...
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/valspar-introduces-lifeshield-industrial-flooring-coatings-2016-01-14
Holy bid support and crosstrade.. what's coming??
Maybe he read the DD stickies and he's our newest long... lol.
Any thoughts about BKRT on top of bid?
This is a long hold, for me at least... Buy millions, hold for a year. When you come back, isocyanates will be banned, companies will be scrambling to modify their products, and HCTI will have its foot in a few F500 doors. I'll be selling somewhere above 50 cents please and thank you. The current dilution and fraction of a penny movements don't bother me one bit. The successful can see the future, and the green movement is going to be a huge part. But, I have to say, the day-to-day drama is quite entertaining though. :)
