Been there, done that. Next?
Churak, how long does it normally take to get an answer out of admin?
I had an on topic post removed for being off topic, with no request for review available, so I've been trying to contact admin for nearly 24 hours to inform them of this mistake.
What I'd really like to see is an ihub hotline where the admin isn't given several days to respond. It sure as hell doesn't take long to delete & review with a biased hand whenever shorty don't like my message.
...On a silver platter?
I heard one of the talking heads say gold could hit $2000, but that's only 120% gain over the long haul. Probably years. Real estate will outshine that if you bought the right properties at their lows.
FWIW, I think you silver buyers are going to get the largest returns this next pop.
And I still don't think we should let an Arab run our country.
weebie, I don't think the TA's gagged...
Just in shock.
Private company buying a shell and going public, isn't this in effect an IPO?
RE: "The Elusive Bottom", talk about a deep subject. There's just enough analytical data and opinion to keep the sheep in line.
...And Greenspan, it sounds like he's about to fall off into a coma when he speaks.
Which brings me to the solid conclusion, what the market needs is for A.G. to raise his voice, pound the table, and dance a little two-step.
Congrats, I think you guys caught that falling knife like real, professional type traders. Now let's see if you've got the balls to hold for new highs. LOL
Something ya'll probably won't care much for...
BCND @.0003, salvaging millions of old Chicago brick, tons of steel on one project, about 250 acres of timber to be harvested on two others, and natural gas wells on all three.
Not as flashy as gold, guns and girls, but it sure beats sellin' crickets & night crawlers.
I already flipped it once for a three bagger, and I'd almost feel guilty doing it again without at least telling you fiends.
HOW TO CALL THE POLICE WHEN YOU'RE OLD AND DON'T MOVE FAST ANYMORE. George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things. He phoned the police, who asked, '
Is someone in your house?' and he said 'no'. Then, they said that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply lock his door and an officer would be along when available. George said, 'Okay,' hung up, counted to 30, and phoned the police again. 'Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I just shot them.' Then he hung up. Within five minutes six police cars, a SWAT Team, a helicopter, two fire trucks, a paramedic and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence and caught the burglars red-handed One of the Policemen said to George: 'I thought you said that you shot them!' George said, 'I thought you said there was nobody available! '
NAIL it!
LMAO We'd best quit before he bans us both.
...Wifeys four alarm fire wings. And two tall, cold glasses of whole milk.
Man, that was one hell of a gap down today, hope it was the bottom you guys were shooting for. If it dips below 10 I'll go all in. LOL
Yeah, I forgot about the perma rain condition out there. He'd better get some rubber barn boots and an insulated wet suit.
LOL Steve, of course.
No. I kept yelling, "Jump!!!"
NAIL it!
Last night I had this dream, where Steve was riding his electric moped through a mud puddle with Hillary on the back.
Nice of them to hit all the stop loss orders before reversing trend. Rotten bastards.
Might hit the 13's, or even the 10 Steve called, but come on now, they can't short silver into bankruptcy can they?
NAIL it!
Proof that Men Have Better Friends...
Friendship among Women:
A woman didn't come home one night. The next morning
she told her husband that she had slept over at a
friend's house. The man called his wife's 10 best
friends. None of them knew anything about it.
Friendship among Men:
A man didn't come home one night. The next morning he
told his wife that he had slept over at a friend's

Eight confirmed that he had slept over, and two said he was still there.
DD confusion is the leading cause of catastrophic losses. Right up there with the blindfolded dart toss. Stare hard enough and the good companies let their bad side show, while the bad ones keep finding new ways to string you along.
Duck or bleed!
I'm speechless. Well, almost...
I've the utmost respect for police and firefighters. They don't make a hell of a lot of money comparative to their dangers, and the idiots they encounter nearly every time out.
And soldiers too... Which reminds me, I need to write my nephew in Baghdad.
You nailed it - the contractors get a nominal percentage of the contract (deposit) up front to buy materials (and hire sub contractors in many cases).
From what I gather, the list of publicly traded contracting companies is very narrow, with 25% gains forecast for the next year.
It's my opinion much of this money may very well go to private companies owned by big money, which may never show up on a balance sheet.
That said, I'm going to keep swingin' for the fence with my .05 to 5.00 wild cards unless I come up with something really good.
I'll keep my eyes open for ya... Make sure you put IR on your list of equipment candidates. :)
How aboout a high priced pinkie doing R&D for Cat...
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 11, 2008) - Clean Power Technologies Inc. ("Clean Power" or the "Company") (OTCBB:CPWE)(FRANKFURT:C1L), developer of a unique heat recovery and hybrid power system to reduce vehicle emissions, is pleased to announce that it has signed a collaboration agreement with Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG to develop steam and heat energy recovery engines for Clean Power's proprietary heat recovery technology for refrigeration trailers for the grocery market.
Mr Abdul Mitha, President and CEO of Clean Power Technologies Inc., said: "This is an exciting collaboration for us, which will provide additional engineering capability in the development of a refrigeration engine that is cleaner and more fuel-efficient. The cost of operating diesel engines has been steadily rising as the price of oil increases. This cost is beginning to be passed on to consumers and is already being reflected on the grocery shelves. The transportation industry is therefore looking for a solution that will improve fuel and cost efficiencies whilst reducing emissions, all of which would provide substantial monetary savings. We believe we have that solution."
Under the terms of the collaboration agreement, Clean Power and Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG will analyse data from the testing of an existing refrigeration engine, results from which will be used to build and test a new engine that incorporates Clean Power's proprietary heat recovery technology. Clean Power is currently collecting initial data from an existing refrigeration engine at the Company's headquarters in Calgary, Canada.
There are over 7 million refrigerated trailers in the US and about 2.5 million in the EU. The UK alone has approximately 40,000 refrigerated trailers while the overall global truck market is growing at 8% per annum.
Clean Power's proprietary automotive hybrid technology, Clean Energy Storage and Recovery ('CESAR'), captures otherwise wasted exhaust heat of a conventional combustion engine and utilizes the recovered heat as steam to generate clean power for the vehicle. The technology provides 40% better fuel efficiency and a corresponding reduction in emission levels, as verified by comprehensive tests.
Voith is a multi-national company with significant interest in the development of expand in engine and braking systems. As part of its own drive systems and components development programme Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG has already developed hybrid systems, waste recovery systems and expansion engines based on the internal combustion engine which are used on the road, on rail, on water and in other industries.
Mr Stephan Bartosch, Voith Turbo's Vice President Powertrain Technology responsible for the collaboration, commented: "We know there is demand across the transport sector for greater fuel efficiency and for improvements in the emissions levels of diesel engines. Our work on a next generation of steam engines will be allied with a means to capitalise on the previously wasted heat energy with Clean Power for refrigeration trailers. While the technology is complex, the solution which this collaboration aims to provide to meet this growing market need is simple."
Mr Abdul Mitha, President and CEO of Clean Power Technologies Inc., added: "Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG has the outstanding engineering capability to undertake development of very specialized and complex technologies. We are confident that this collaboration will produce an engine that will be one of the most fuel-efficient and least polluting engines available on the market."
ABOUT CLEAN POWER TECHNOLOGIES
Clean Power Technologies is committed to developing hybrid fuel technology and alternative fuel for a range of vehicles, including locomotives, heavy trucks and light cars. The Company's proprietary technology significantly reduces pollution through its Clean Energy Storage and Recovery (CESAR) system, which takes otherwise wasted heat from the exhaust of a conventional combustion engine and modifies it through a heat recovery system to generate clean power for the vehicle.
The Company boasts a highly experienced engineering team, whose vision and technical capabilities are driving the development and implementation of this unique hybrid fuel technology.
Clean Power Technologies operates out of its development facility in Newhaven, East Sussex. In 2006, testing of the CESAR system began on a Mazda RX8 passenger vehicle engine, with trials on a second identical engine commencing later that year. In June 2007 testing also began on a Caterpillar C15 diesel engine to explore applications, such as auxiliary power and trailer refrigeration, within the industrial vehicle and truck industries. Testing on the CESAR process began in late October 2007, with initial results already recording a 40% improvement in fuel efficiency.
The Company listed on XETRA on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in October 2006, and is also traded on the OTC Bulletin Board in the US.
ABOUT CESAR
Clean Power's Clean Energy Storage and Recovery (CESAR) technology is designed to increase vehicle fuel economy and reducing emissions by capturing, storing and reusing otherwise wasted heat from the exhaust of a conventional combustion engine. A heat exchanger captures waste energy, which is then stored in the form of steam in an accumulator, for 'on demand' use either in the same 'primary' engine, or in a secondary vapour engine. Power can be produced solely by the secondary vapour engine even after the primary combustion engine has shut down.
The CESAR system can be used to power auxiliary truck systems, such as trailer refrigeration and cab cooling or heating, in regulatory 'no idle' and 'quiet' zones. In addition to initial truck applications, CESAR can be further applied in Clean Power's well developed passenger car programme in addition to having longer-term potential in the locomotive and marine sectors.

MMG, NAK, LBSU, and of course, X also.
Interesting, this rebuilding project is being pushed to the front so quickly.
They're already working on just about every road in my area, and I've been noticing a lot of plastic & rubber water mains being installed.
I'm thinking Goodyear (GT) will get a slice of this action, up 10% Friday.
Caterpillar should do well also, both sales and service, and don't forget those warranties contracts.
And don't forget the road side barricades that will be required. Probably millions of the saw horse type with the yellow lights, and hundreds (if not thousands) of miles of the concrete "traffic retention" type.
By the time they finish they can get started on the basics for Sky Lanes and flying cars... I just hope they keep the trucks & tractors on the ground.
STLD, RMIX, CUO, FAST, GVA, STRL for beginners.
BWTFDIK when it comes to who may or may not get govt contracts.
No rain tires, what a bunch of sissys.
Last week I saw a grown man painting another grown man's toe nails and shut it off quicker than you could say, "WTF was THAT???"
Soft Walls, air conditioning, a five minute break every ten laps...
Heck, my Mom could compete with these girly men. And she doesn't even need as much make up.
Let's throw into the mix...
Russian agression towards neighbors, and land grab at the north pole sea floor (why didn't I think of that first?) and possible US agression towards Irans shipping lanes... China still blaming US for their earthquake problems? No matter where in the world there's a problem, the US is either blamed or helps point the finger.
Nothin' Bubba can do about that...
Telephone History
After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion, that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.
Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, in California an archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, headlines in the LA Times newspaper read: 'California archaeologists have found traces of 200 year old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers.'
One week later, 'The News and Observer', a local newspaper in North Carolina, reported the following: After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture near Beech Grove, Wake County, North Carolina, Bubba Mitchell, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Bubba has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, North Carolina had already gone wireless..
Additionally, I saw there's a massive short position on silver (may have even mentioned it here). It's very hard to go against the grain and beat the deep pocketed hedge funds if they decide something is overvalued. Your chances are better going one on one with a real bear on the side of a mountain.
I thought the Olympic games were scheduled for Washington D.C. in November.... The lawn dart voting game... The one eyed vote counter... The hanging chad inspector...
I'm gonna fail this quiz on Monday, I can just feel it.
...a probable Democratic landslide election coming up
Here's a refreshing thought... A majority of the people agreeing upon the same candidate... That, in and of itself, would be priceless. The olde "Can't we all just get along" thing. But sadly enough, I still see the country divided into two groups. Those who won't vote for an Arab, and those who won't vote for a career military man/politition. And the deciding vote will probably be cast in West Palm Beach.
Gold, silver, oil, dollar? Have you seen any charts on wheat, corn, soybeans & steel?!?
Got the truck loaded, huh?
Why do most of the charts show zero most of the time?
Maybe you could spend some of the money I've given you over the years to upgrade this feature?
TIA
This weeks Poccono race to feature competition cautions every lap, and extra pace cars to create a seamless event should the primary pace car fail.
Pace car speed will be 83.33333 MPH to ensure the customary six hour parade, in which cars are to run single file to allow full view of sponsorship packages and special deals. No passing, as this blocks precious advertising space and creates an unsafe work enviroment for racers.
Qualifying order to be determined by Stevie Wonder.
P.S. Carlos, enjoy the show.
HA! See that? Already got ya playing possum.
Get up & shake it off, there's too much ass kickin' yet to do.
The men in white jackets should be arriving soon...
I sent them to beat some life back into you. Then toss your ass out of a plane on a bungee cord.
We'll get your survival instincts right back into shape.
....And VIP, glad to hear you and yours are out of danger.
Hell, who cares?
I think she's doing the world a great bit of good.

You're going to be happy to learn, I've found a tutor on youtub to help me with tough words...
At least going into a casino you know there's only one dealer who can screw you at a time.
New ticker symbol, maybe SIXR or SIRX? My kids bought me a car radio set up for Dad's Day.
Monopoly? Does that make it a buy?
Very interesting things going on with PTSC also...
Now what in the hell makes you think I've got $16.99 to plop down on one share when I could buy almost 170,000 shares of the next big thing brewin' in Bubba's barn?
It's helpful to have a stock behave the way it should.. Been a while since I've had one go straight up like it was supposed to.
Bottom? I sure hope so. And I'd like to think this crackdown on nekid shortin' will allow some things to correct. One of my buddys down here said one of those bastards was being led out in cuffs on t-v. Must be nekid shortin' is real after all.
You should use Yukon Jack if you're trying to keep it lit.

You know as much as I do, just check current filings. Even your pals at the SEC have made progress in the future trading of this stock. It's all coming together best I can tell, and I see that as no reason to be more upset than ever...
Well, that is, unless I'd borrowed more than I ever planned on paying back.
