SKTO Going Up Is Good. Why didn't it go up like AEGY did, though? I thought SKTO was the better of the two and that SKTO also was to receive revenue from AEGY. I believe I misunderstood the relationship between the two companies.
New courses being introduced for fall semester. Finally should have some PR. Imagine that this stock should take off now. This is a great industry to be in. More learning is done online and the key is to make learning fun.
Big developments. Stock should be jumping up today or tomorrow. Hopefully we get back over the $5 level by yearend. Once good news comes this stock will shoot straight up. It is one of the most read on investor's hub. Excited :)
Everyone sells this week and then the buys come pouring in next week. It will be around $3.60 on Monday at 4:59 PM. There have been a ton of investors who have been procrastinating in buying this stock because the restructuring isn't an overnight process. There has also been better opportunities in the market but that is coming to an end. I am loading up in the next two months and I highly recommend others do the same. This is a very low risk, high reward stock. I have read a lot of articles stating that Zynga is risky. If you deduct the amount of cash that the company has from the stock price it results in the stock trading for around $1.10. That is unreal! The company has close to 100 patents for the online gambling industry alone. Some of the patents are essential for some of the gambling games and I am excited to see how Zynga utilizes that competitive edge. If Zynga is somehow unsuccessful, the company will just be bought by another company. This stock can easily be over $100 in five years. If you don't believe me than you need to see how much the gambling industry is worth. Less people are gambling at casinos. Mobile gambling is the preferred method which is why Zynga is positioning themself to be the market leader.
This stock will be going down the next two days and then it is time to BUY, BUY, BUY!!!
They aren't required to announce their revenue until next year. It was initially announced by several media outlets making assumptions that Bwin was going to get the majority of the revenue given that it is the company that actually has the gaming license. This information was wrong but I have not been able to get the precise percentage. Zynga has been positioning itself so well over the past yeare that you almost feel bad for Mark Pincus but then realize the buttloads of money he is going to have when he gets his last laugh. The stock price has gone down dramatically but that is natural for a tech company completely restructuring itself. The price is going to remain low for another 2 months and then then it is smooth sailing. Zynga real money gambling should be operating in Nevada in October or November, no later than December. In the near future there will be launches in various other European countries but the big launch is when it launches in China. The online gambling partnership Zynga and Facebook just announced is SO big. Do I have to remind the members of this board of what Zynga's stock traded at when those two companies were best pals? That was without online gambling and online gambling is a tens of billions of dollars industry. Zynga will be going down this week because they will announce their earnings and even if it is better than what is predicted, the mentality is that everyone thinks it is going to be bad news so the market is selling. That has been one of the hardest things for me to grasp while trading and investing. You have to predict what people will think will happen, not necessarily what will happen.
I am Zynga long with some short trades along the way.
Zynga's UK gaming revenue will not be publicized until next April. They are intentionally keeping it quiet.
This is the most volatile stock there is I am pretty sure. I don't buy any of this stock because I would have a heart attack but I do enjoy watching it's price fly all over the place.
President Obama signed the Improper Payment Elimination and Recovery Act of 2010 (IPERA) with the goal of reducing the federal government’s improper payments. Electronic invoicing is the leading technological solution to prevent improper payments by eliminating error –prone manual processing.
To comply with IPERA, government agencies have finalized actions to mandate electronic invoice submission to their invoicing centers. A Federal Register rule mandating electronic invoice submission was published November 27th, 2012. The mandate requiring contractors to submit payment requests in electronic form is effective December 27th, 2012 and can be located within the Federal Registry at:
https://federalregister.gov/a/2012-28612
I do not believe MYEC has tried to fill this requirement. I know that Data Interchange EDI ANSI X12, a third party EDI provider and OB10 have capitalized.
Paper invoicing is like sending a letter through the mail. Who sends anything besides emails anymore? This is definitely a growing industry but I just haven't seen anything from MyECheck that makes me comfortable investing in them and the insane volatility I see with the stock confirms my belief. If anyone can reply with solid evidence to defend MyECheck I would appreciate it. Feel free to private message me with any other companies that would be a good investment regarding electronic invoicing. Have a great weekend everyone!
Eatin those words shortly afterwards
Someone obviously didn't get in on the price they wanted.
Zynga is being built to maximize shareholder value in the next 3-5 years. All opinions before that time period mean nothing to me. The company is being reorganized and everyone will have their OPINIONS. Just buy shares and come back in 2016 - 2018 to see your massive gains. It is that simple. Buying shares at this level is a no brainer. The company has a buttload of cash and patents that will be crucial for online gambling. Zynga 4 the win.
Here are my reasons to support my long position
The stock is undervalued as it stands today without even considering anything in the future. Zynga has $1.3 billion in cash and equivalents i.e. 65% of market capitalization or $1.7 per share. After today, Zynga is essentially trading for $1.4 per share, if we discount the cash. If we take into account that company's operations are still generating quarterly cash flows, of around $25 million and FCF in the range of $40 million.
Zynga cut 18% of workforce and it was all the employees who were no longer needed because they weren't valuable to the transition to mobile gaming and online gambling. This saved Zynga $80 million.
Legalization of online gambling:
Regulated real-money Internet gambling reached a nearly $30 billion market worldwide in 2012, according to H2 Gambling Capital.
The U.S. gambling market is estimated to be $380 billion, of which only $3 billion is legalized at this time.
Zynga was able to get people to buy virtual farm animals; they will get a BIG piece of that $380 billion.
H2 Gambling Capital forecasts that by 2017 the U.S. market could hit $7.4 billion, based on recent legislation passed in several states that support online gambling.
Zynga Poker is the largest poker site in the world with 38 million users. The next largest is only half of that.
Gambling on mobile platforms, casino-type games in general are growing. Such games landed in the top three genres for revenue worldwide in 2012, for both Apple's iOS and Google's play.
Lastly, but VERY importantly, the new CEO chose Zynga over Microsoft and EA. CEO’s typically receive a substantial amount of income based on their performance. These talks were over months and he went through the company’s financials, business models, vision, and all kinds of important information that people normally don’t have access too, and picked Zynga.
You are clearly joking.
This is a great point that I was thinking the same. For Mark Pincus to make such a move is a shocker and really shows the character of the new CEO. People can say no big deal but think if you spent years of your life building your own company day and night. Successful business owners typically are work-a-holics with OCD. There is no way Mark just gives this position to anyone but the best. I am excited to say the least
You don't know what you are talking about. After hours trade has it up to $3.25 right now. Zynga will be over $3.50 tomorrow.
There has been A TON of rumors that there has been a lot of bad publicity about Zynga so that the big shots could load up on the stock for cheap and are trying to buy as much as possible before the company gets its license. Zynga has been doing much better than the Fool and Seeking Alpha writers let you believe. For example: http://www.insidesocialgames.com/2013/04/08/zynga-slots-takes-the-top-spot-among-this-weeks-fastest-growing-facebook-games-by-mau/
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND GREAT FOR THE COMPANY, MORE IMPORTANTLY OUR STOCK!!! http://allthingsd.com/20130701/exclusive-microsofts-entertainment-head-don-mattrick-leaving-to-take-top-role-possibly-ceo-at-zynga/?refcat=news
What may be even more important about than being able to recruit Don Mattrick is the section in the article, "Interestingly, Mattrick has also been on the short list of the top execs being considered to run Electronic Arts, another gaming giant that has faced a number of challenges and whose former CEO was ousted a few months ago."
Don Mattrick was just been shown nearly everything about EA and Zynga. This includes everything from R&D, company problems, and their vision and he chose Zynga! CEO's typically have their income based on how well the company does. Don Mattrick obviously sees Zynga doing very well since he just left Microsoft as well. Big $$$$$$$$ coming!!!
It will NEVER go under $3.00 again after this week. AMAZING news: http://allthingsd.com/20130701/exclusive-microsofts-entertainment-head-don-mattrick-leaving-to-take-top-role-possibly-ceo-at-zynga/?mod=googlenews
That is only if they get 1-2% or market share but that should be at the $3.50 price plus 30%. Zynga will have well over 1-2% market share. They fail to talk about Zynga's business model and the 3 seconds or less test they have. Zynga's games are addicting with out the real money gambling. My mom is old school and despises computers. She was one of the last people on Facebook and next thing I know she is hooked on FarmVille like crackhead on crack. I have never seen anything like it. I used to play a lot of online Poker and I know how big it will get again. Patience is key. I assume nothing big will happen until October- November but I don't want to miss out because it is going to take off. This stock will be at $35 within 5 years. It was at $15 without online gambling! I don't think people realize how big gambling is. They aren't just going to be doing poker. Table games and sports betting will be everywhere soon enough. Online is much more convenient than going to casino and people will be able to do it at work. We are talking about tens of billions of dollars. Zynga Poker is the largest poker site in the world with 38 million people. The next has half as many, lol. That is ridiculous! What stock can you buy as cheap as this with such upside. Worst case scenario the company gets bought! You are pretty much buying it at $.80 because of the cash they have. While everyone else is in debt and high interest rates are n foreseeable future that billion in cash is looking even more delicious.
This is a GREAT article and very good for people who are contemplating buying Zynga stock. http://www.insidermonkey.com/blog/zynga-inc-znga-the-safest-speculative-bet-182854/2/
They already stated they don't have to make an announcement until next year and anticipate using that right. Reports from other companies give very good indications that Zynga is receiving hefty profits. This can be assumed by similar company's statements and most importantly, Zynga's partner
Does anyone remember when there was a big sell and the stock went to .0099 and then it went right back to around .013 and people were calling the seller an idiot? Than the stock tanked two days afterward. Seems like that seller had the inside scoop. Who else would sell for .099 where this stock was at that time unless they knew that was going to happen.
For the interested investor...
Zynga cut 18% of workforce which have been all over headlines and resulted in a major drop in Zynga's price. The cuts were to position themselves where the money is. Zynga is focused on being mobile and the company is going all in with online gambling. New Jersey just set a deadline and there isn't time for a casino not to go with Zynga given their experience. Casino's understand the importance of quality and there are only a handful of sites that will meet the standard. The deadline can be seen here:

One of the most important things for a company is intellectual property. Please read site : http://envisionip.com/blog/2013/01/08/504-zynga-online-gambling-patents/
You can see the review of the UK site:
http://www.insidesocialgames.com/2013/04/04/zynga-plus-poker-review/
ZyngaPoker is the largest poker site in the world. It has 38 million players (twice as many as Pokerstars).
Why positioning to mobile gaming is important:
Asked why they prefer their mobiles to more fixed methods of accessing websites, 64% of users cited convenience, while 18% claimed it simply fit their online usage habits. Some 7% of users said their online activity didn’t require anything more powerful than a smartphone, while 6% said their smartphones were easier to operate than a traditional computing device. Around 10% of users said they either didn’t have a computer or lacked internet access beyond their mobile connection.
Overall, the number of adult mobile phone users who have used their handheld device to browse websites has risen from 25% in 2009 to 53% in 2012. That’s an even sharper rise than users who accessed email via their phone, which rose from 25% to 44% over the same period. Three-quarters of young adults (18-24) with mobile phones had used them to access the internet, compared with 80% of those aged 25-34 and 68% of those aged 35-44.
Men and women were fairly evenly split (57% to 54%) on their mobile internet usage, while those in higher-income brackets ($75k+) outstripped those with smaller pay packets (under $30k) by a ratio of 69% to 50%. College graduates similarly outpaced those who never completed high school (64% to 45%). Urban residents (62%) outpaced their suburban (56%) and rural (44%) counterparts. Bottom line, if your customers can’t reliably access you on the go, they’ll likely go somewhere else.
Federal procurement data system (FPDS). I am a Federal Government Contracting Officer :)
Listen to Hazey. I have no idea why I even bought this stock. I think I bought the wrong one but it sucks. Now I am just sitting around waiting to try and recoup the money but no one is buying.
Why did they wait until 15 minutes after the markets close to release the good news? That doesn't make much sense to me. Can anyone explain?? Oh well, it is better than having bad news... Have a great weekend everyone!
We have had a lot of good news this month. I am surprised so many sells after this news raised price:
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals Research Report
On June 3, 2013, Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Peregrine Pharmaceuticals) reported that data was presented at the 2013 ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) Meeting from two clinical trials evaluating the Company's lead clinical candidate bavituximab, a first-in-class phosphatidylserine (PS)-targeting monoclonal antibody that represents a new approach to treating cancer. Interim data from a Phase I trial, evaluating bavituximab plus paclitaxel therapy in patients with HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer (MBC), showed that 85% of patients were able to achieve objective tumor response, with 15% of patients achieving a complete response (CR) in accordance to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST). Further, the Company reported that in the second study, results from a randomized Phase II trial of bavituximab plus gemcitabine in patients with non-resectable Stage IV pancreatic cancer demonstrated more than a doubling of the overall response rate (ORR) and an improvement in overall survival (OS), including a delayed separation in the Kaplan-Maeier survival curve that is commonly seen in promising cancer immunotherapies. The Full Research Report on Peregrine Pharmaceuticals - including full detailed breakdown, analyst ratings and price targets - is available to download free of charge at: [http://www.wsreports.com/r/full_research_report/df4a_PPHM]
This is all old news. Look at the dates!
That I am going to have a lot of money soon :)
This contract was put up for competition using FAR part 15 and had a subcontracting plan requirement included (small businesses don't need to submit one). Subcontracting plans are to help small business participation. If the business is done with a govt agency besides the VA then 8a's or small disadvantaged businesses probably got it. If it was the VA then near certainty a service disabled veterans small biz did. Those would be things like janitorial services or where they bought the materials. R&D in the govt is a much different "animal" and much more complex that turns into sole source contracts because of clauses that the contract contains. Ex. FAR clause 52.227-11 Ownership By Contractor. Contractors will provide a bid that they no will lose them money because they know they will get profits in change orders (modifications). With R&D they are more common for obvious reasons. The bigger the contract the more COR oversight which means that it would be very difficult to pass off the contract to another contractor. I hope that helps you understand the federal government system. The federal government increased its standards and training program dramatically in the past 5 years. The quality of contracting personnel is 10 times better than it has been but to offset the positive progress the fed govt made more restrictive statutes as well as agencies' developing inefficient policies that kills the Governments productivity. Hense why a small govt is crucial. People argue larger govt because of people committing fraud and breaking other laws but with govt it will happen more and politics play greater role. In public sector competitors will snitch on the offender in a heartbeat. Sorry for my ramble but I know and see so much but can't typically share it due to restrictions. Have a great night PPHM comrades!
This article that someone posted yesterday is a game changer. Another professional stating that by the numbers and including good faith estimates Growlife is the best company to invest in. http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/from-microsoft-to-marijuana-may-the-best-brand-win.html/5/
After next week the days in the 4s should become scarce
THIS IS AWESOME http://www.smallcapnetwork.com/Good-News-Watch-May-Was-a-Good-Month-for-Medical-Marijuana-MJNA-PHOT/s/via/3414/article/view/p/mid/1/id/1342/
Only a matter of time ladies and gentleman. This is going to be huge. Between the legalization of marijuana and online gambling and the technology advances of 3D printing, I am very curious to see what industry stocks increase the most. I am going to bet marijuana and putting my money where my mouth is. PHOT is the only company that is currently filing with the SEC which speaks volumes about the company against its competitors. Just to save some people out there some time, here are the companies to go with in each industry:
Marijuana: Growlife (PHOT)
Online gambling: Zynga and MGM
3D Printing: 3D Systems and maybe ONVO (SSYS doesn't have the patents that matter like 3D Systems does)
Growlife is going to be huge and I cannot wait. All those people are buying lottery tickets with near impossible chances of winning yet they can invest in some PHOT and have a near certain chance of making a profit and a very good chance of making a substantial amount. I don't think anyone will disagree with me that $4.00 per share should happen in the next few years. $40.00 is not far away either. If someone only puts $1,000 at the $.04 price it will turn into $100,000. That is some serious cash! I am sure most people are able to put $10,000 which means they just become a millionaire before taxes. I am waiting for my next paycheck, investing it in PHOT, and then telling all my friends about this stock (all 4 of them) so I'm not the only rich one out of the group. I'm sure your friends will agree that it is worth putting together at least $1,000 to have a legitimate shot of having financial security.
Just need it to go down a little more so it triggers my limit buy. C'mon people! Sell, sell, sell. Once you get er down a couple more pennies so I can get my piece of the pie then it can shoot back up so we can all make money together.
GREAT POST- $$$$$$$ ZYNGA $$$$$ http://seekingalpha.com/article/1467811-the-opportunity-for-zynga-in-real-money-gaming?source=yahoo
SHOW ME THE MONEY$$$$$$
They report earnings July 24, 2013 (expected) and the report should include the fiscal quarter ending June 2013. It is going to be a huge jump from previous quarter. I cannot wait. I am surprised that Zynga hasn't been bought but my assumption is that it has everything to do with the CEO not wanting to. Everyone has their price and it doesn't seem that whoever was/would be interested showed enough of these guys $$$$$$ It is time for Zynga to show them. Let's go $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
They will report their earnings off online gambling in the UK and the increase in net profits from repositioning the company in higher profit margin games and dropping the lower margin ones. I was chuckling to lonesome a few months ago when all the articles that I saw posted were slamming Zynga for dropping games yet they never investigated the strategy. You won't see under $4 after they disclose this "news" and I can't wait until mobile gaming is legal. My biggest problem is choosing between ZYNG, PHOT, and AUY to use my money to buy shares. Judging the three companies I feel that is a good problem to have. Good luck to you all :)
It will be down today and we are about to have the price of gold go down until July/August and then we are shooting for $2,000. I would sell now and then just rebuy towards the end of July. If you know it is going to go down why not sell and then rebuy even if you are long. Just because you are long doesn't mean you have to lose money!
Hahahah I just posted part of that article. The article states that in 2005 There was United Nations report that estimated the global marijuana trade to be valued at $142 billion. http://www.unodc.org/pdf/WDR_2005/volume_1_web.pdf
Imagine how big it is now
Check this out
A 2005 United Nations report estimated the global marijuana trade to be valued at $142 billion. http://www.unodc.org/pdf/WDR_2005/volume_1_web.pdf
That was in 2005!!!
