TWD 35million O/S, MJ sells start Thursday! OTTAWA, April 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Tweed Marijuana Inc. (TSXV:TWD.V - News) is pleased to update that forecast demand for medical marijuana from its wholly owned subsidiary Tweed Inc. ("Tweed") is greater than initial company forecasts, based on registration and application information to date. Particularly, data from registrations predict a potentially greater demand than the Company had initially projected. Although there is no guarantee that medical marijuana demand based on registrations to date will necessarily translate into increased realized demand in the form of customer orders, Tweed will be intensifying its construction and production program to bring forward capacity not originally anticipated until the end of 2015. This will require an increase in capital expenditures and construction related expenses.
In addition to Tweed's core production rooms including the mother room, vegetative room, seed room, and drying room, Tweed has 3 operational grow rooms in place, where cannabis plants are sent to flower and become medicine. Each grow room is anticipated to generate approximately 500,000 grams of medical marijuana annually. Under Tweed's intensified construction plan, a further 3 rooms with similar production capacity are expected to be in place by August 31st, 2014, with a further 6 rooms in place by December 31st, 2014.
With the intensification of its construction schedule, Tweed will move from a currently anticipated annual maximum production capacity of 1.5 million grams per year to 6 million grams per year by the end of 2014. Tweed has a maximum of 15 million grams of annual production permitted by Health Canada within the currently approved structure. Production lags production capacity as the plants require between eight and twelve weeks of flowering time in the growing rooms. The time variation in the growing rooms is related primarily to the strains under production. With 25 strains currently in production, and an additional 60 strains to initiate, ?Tweed believes that it will offer an industry leading selection for the market by the end of 2014.
In the immediate term, Tweed is appreciative of the number of applications that have been received from patients looking to Tweed to be their trusted supplier of quality medical marijuana and expects to ship its first order on April 24th, 2014. In order to ensure sufficient supply to continue to serve its existing customers, Tweed will be prioritizing access to medical marijuana to customers who have already been registered or have submitted an application to Tweed prior to April 21st. While Tweed will continue to accept new applications, we will not proceed to register new customers until we can be certain that we have sufficient supply to meet demand. Tweed will ensure that all customers waiting to be registered are aware of their status and will work hard to keep existing and prospective customers informed as we move forward to build capacity and make new strains and supply available to our customers.
In order to continue to drive medium term demand in the sector, Tweed has commenced educational programs and hired initial staff to liaise with the medical community in order to bridge the information and research gap in order to facilitate the acceptance of medical marijuana as a treatment under appropriate circumstances and for relevant indications.

I speculate more will feel this way once they see sells start and the numbers that TWD is generating esp with 35.1 million in O/S with 20% of that restricted..
35.1 million O/S with 20% of which is restricted to management, period. SS should not be a question with TWD but some sites have a different number and don't know why.. Ihub initially had 600plus million.. Funny but now is corrected.. Know this those 23 million share that are available to public are going quickly and most of those shareholders are holding for the big pay day.. Watch as the shares get thin and revenues roll in the pps will really climb

TWD PR Huge News MJ Demand more than Supply!

TWMJF on licensed MJ trading in canada announces.OTTAWA, April 14, 2014 /CNW/ - Tweed Marijuana Inc. (TSXV: TWD) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Tweed Inc. ("Tweed") has partnered with Canadian company Arizer to offer Tweed customers a choice of the Arizer Solo and Extreme Q vaporizers.
Tweed will be offering these vaporizers at an exclusive price available only to their registered customers. "We truly believe in the benefits of using a vaporizer to consume medical marijuana," said Chuck Rifici, Tweed's President and CEO. "For this reason we are proud to offer these vaporizers to our customers at a discounted price to encourage their use."
Vaporizing is a way to inhale the bioactive components of medical marijuana while avoiding burning of plant matter. The vaporization of cannabis is possible because the trichomes, which contain the main therapeutic components of cannabis, are converted to vapor at a lower heat than it takes to burn the plant matter. Vaporizing is an effective alternative to smoking which provides the same therapeutic effect without exposure to irritant compounds resulting from the burning of plant matter.
As quoted by Arizer, "We are pleased to work with a customer service focused company like Tweed. Bringing premium products at discounted prices to the medical community is a great service and savings for its members".
The Extreme Q and Solo vaporizers are now available on Tweed's website, along with instructional information to help patients better understand the merits of using a vaporizer to consume medical marijuana.

You should watch the interview with linton from tweed website where both of those issues was stated..
I agree so many variants for this stock on first day trading. First some ppl buy the wrong ticker, second rookies bought at any price to say they own TWD and lastly being On TSX most did not have a globally trading account, now legal issues with the law? I for one did not buy even with my global account. I will wait to dust settles and MM's bring this down around a dollar.. We will easily see 1-1.25 this week..
Smartest post of the day! I agree and most ppl should use that advice.
The problem is too many rookies just wanting to be part of the hype an buying way to high.. Smart money will watch the big MM's soon. I sure this will fall down to 1 dollar mark or lower once rookie retail is out of the way.. Money leaving rookies right now
There will be a lot ppl taken to the cleaners bidding over a dollar on TWD early. I will drop from the ridiculous bid price right now down. I will wait.
Agree chef boy, please people read because most questions are answered in previous post.. Also all the question about how to trade globally should be answer by your broker or figure it out own your time..
All svfc shareholder should key in on this point in the PR! tent around the world. And I believe that we are now in the phase of our international patent process to reach out and seek international partners to whom we would license our technology and cellular labs and start generating international revenues." Expect there to be big move in the stock very soon!
Looks like the buying pressure building here at svfc!! IP granting is not far away IMO. From my calculations I am still sticking with granting of IP in month of May or the latest June!! But it could happen at anytime now..
