Fats, take care of yourself first of all. That way you will be back to us soon. Cannot make it without you, so get fixed and return. We will wait for you. And pray for you as well.
I keep hoping that my errols won't appear on the Spelling, Grandma, and other Arrols board. But I no some will.
Add my prayers for Manchester.
Morning Marilyn. I am not board, usual Monday duties.
I quit McDonald's about a dozen years ago. Haven't been in since. Won't be.

Larry, last three months innarow I have gotten a small package in the mail that has my name on it but I never ordered it. Inside? Two small containers of facial products guaranteed to make me look ten years younger. Women's cosmetics. No paperwork in the box at all. Free cosmetics? Turns out they had my Visa and were sneaking charges whence I wasn't looking.
Wrote them. Called Visa. Finally got them to admit "Sorry to lose such a good customer (!!!!!!!!!!!!) but they agreed to stop shipping and stop charging. Strictly a con job. At age 84 do I want to look age 74? No. I don't.
I go to the VA medical property as necessary. Sign on the door? Of course, it says: No guns on this property. When I wasn't jumping out of airplanes, which was usually about one afternoon every other month? I was an instructor on the .45 cal semi-automatic. VA trust me? Why should they? They don't.
I never been in a Hole Foods store. But they might have a couple items I could use. Might go to one later this morn.
Roundup destroys weeds. Then shouldn't they change the name to Rounddown?
Got a couple of monsters + . . . so I am ready.
Larry, thank you. The most incredible voice on a lovely lady. Shirley is all time.
EZ, good buddy, I was there and coffee wasn't.
Arrow, hard for others to imagine but I was in the Army before coffee was invented. Long long ago.
Mr. Tree Sir? You called me a "barf" what?????
George, I totally agree. As always. But Item #1 by itself is good enough. Hillary would have been a disaster. We had to stop her.
I guess I've had a TV of sorts for around sixty years. And the hour long shows you all watched? I didn't. Lots of great dramas that I simply ignored. Cut the grass. Wash the car. Read books. So I missed about all of them. Last year I was scrambling channels and suddenly I saw the most beautiful woman in this universe. Or any other. What was THAT? It was a rerun of Lawn Norder, and the woman was Angie Norman. Not only a perfect beauty, dimples to make my heart beat fast, but as I read about her I found she was a solid Conservative lady. I'm in love. They now show reruns of three hours in a row. When I see that listed I turn it on to see if Angie is on? If she is, I watch it. If it is some other broad? I continue searching.
EZ? I think not half the man you are. You are my hero.
Larry, I am deep into silver, not much gold. But if gold makes a big move then silver is likely to foller. I am all for it.
EZ? Magnificent post. That is exactly the story of my life. I was born in 1933 and grew up that way. Anyone that cannot understand me need only to read that. Thank you.
No, I am saying he is confusing me.
I just checked my own personal (blood) dipstick and I am two quarts low. I have said that before, but Marilyn assures me that it isn't possible, I must mean two pints low. I don't argue with Marilyn.
Did the poster mean scents?
Morning Arrow. Yes, I have given blood every Monday morn for eleven years. Will this morn. Getting great blood numbers, life goes on.
Gary, as you know I am disabled. So I only shop while using electric carts. Stores that don't have them? I cannot shop there. Year before last I decided that I simply could not walk large stores like Wal-Mart. My knees would no longer permit it. I still drive, but I need the disabled parking spots near the stores doors. I do have a special license plate that allows it. Everything has to be planned.
Gary, next month I will have my 84th birthday if I live that long. I am a cripple, and I do fall in my home about once a month. So while I will not GET calls, no one has my number, I will also NOT make calls. Unless I am down and injured. I simply have to have a phone. But no incoming or outgoing calls will be made unless it is to 911. Costs me $100 a year, use it or not. Worth it.
I had a go-phone for seven years. Gave NO ONE the phone number in that seven years. Got NOT ONE call in those seven years, as I left the phone turned off ALL THE TIME EXCEPT . . . when checking for the battery charge. A few months ago I opened the dryer and . . . there was the cleanest go-phone in the U S of A. Clean. Dead also. So
I now have a cell phone. Ain't giving the number to nobuddy. Leaving it turned off totally except when checking the battery. If needed, charging it. Then off. MAKING NO CALLS AT ALL.
So why do I need a cell phone? I am a cripple. And clumsy as well. So at home I fall about once a month. I know how to fall gently and I do. But . . . what if I did get hurt? I have a phone to call 9 1 1. Come pick me up. Otherwise? NO phone calls.
I don't have a lot of loose money. Some, but not a lot. So I seldom use it for investing. Sometimes, not often.
Arrow? Did.
Thank you.
Tree, I envy you, having a daughter. I never did. The cake is for her of course. Wish her the very best from me.
mr40, "Apparently, it is only after being threatened with bad publicity that the VA will actually do anything to help veterans."
That was exactly my experience. I'm a vet and NOT a fan of the VA.
Hanging around. Coffee too hot to drink so far.
I'd punch Hillary on either side . . . or on both sides.
My old cane . . . which I liked . . . walked off last week and has not been seen since. So I had to buy a new one, twenty bucks. I don't like my new cane much, and it seems to have little regard for me. Oh, well . . .
Tree, any man with a daughter is blessed by GOD. I never had children, would have loved to have a daughter.
Arrow, thank you. Got a fresh pot now, will enjoy.
Morning Narrow: this elderly person is here but has not started the coffee yet. Will very soon.
