I had a go-phone for seven years. Gave NO ONE the phone number in that seven years. Got NOT ONE call in those seven years, as I left the phone turned off ALL THE TIME EXCEPT . . . when checking for the battery charge. A few months ago I opened the dryer and . . . there was the cleanest go-phone in the U S of A. Clean. Dead also. So
I now have a cell phone. Ain't giving the number to nobuddy. Leaving it turned off totally except when checking the battery. If needed, charging it. Then off. MAKING NO CALLS AT ALL.
So why do I need a cell phone? I am a cripple. And clumsy as well. So at home I fall about once a month. I know how to fall gently and I do. But . . . what if I did get hurt? I have a phone to call 9 1 1. Come pick me up. Otherwise? NO phone calls.
