flaflyersfan, can you add the new PR as a sticky? thanks. Hopefully, UDT will release an 8-K clarifying the orders. Gonna be a long wait until the next 10-Q if we don't get that 8-K.
UNDT Shipped Products
LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/23/11 -- Universal Detection Technology (www.udetection.com) (UNDT) (the "Company"), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies that protect against biological, chemical, and radiological threats, announced today that it has shipped radiation detection devices to customers in Japan. The Company's customers include companies in heavy industries, telecommunications, and electronics.
The items shipped in April and May of 2011, include dosimeter systems such as the dosimeters used for measurement of cumulative radiation exposures and advanced survey meters and surface monitors used in detection of contamination on surfaces. The survey meters sold by the Company are particularly useful for detecting contamination in food and water. The isotope identifiers sold by the Company not only detect contamination but also identify the isotope that has been detected. These detectors are amongst the most sensitive for detecting gamma radiation. The shipped items have a price range of $450 for the dosimeters to over $9,000 for the more sophisticated survey meters and isotope identifiers.
Tokyo Electric initially laid out a six- to nine-month timetable for bringing an end to the crisis in mid-April, a month after the catastrophic earthquake that struck northern Japan. But a recent assessment concluded that coolant levels in the No. 1 reactor at Fukushima Daiichi were much lower than previously believed. This meant the fuel assembly at the reactor's core was fully exposed and molten, settling into the bottom of the surrounding pressure vessel and likely damaging the vessel.
"That would make this a very, very bad accident and extremely difficult to clean up," said Kenneth Bergeron, a physicist who used to work at the U.S. Department of Energy's Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico. Bergeron said the molten core may have damaged some of the lines leading into the pressure vessel, such as the tubes that house the control rod drive mechanisms, leading to the leaks.
"As the focus of the Fukushima disaster shifts from widespread contamination to cleanup efforts we are seeing more interest in our more sophisticated detection devices such as the survey meters and isotope identifiers that can not only detect radiation but also identify the isotope," said Mr. Jacques Tizabi, the Company's Chairman and CEO. "We expect this interest to continue as reports of high gamma radiation in the Fukushima prefecture continue," he added.

The PR over the Japan stuff also didn't start coming out until April, which wasn't in this 10-Q. I'm sure there are more profits. $380 is the equivalent of about 1 of their products. I doubt Japan will only buy 1.
UNDT is OTC, not Pink Sheets

UNDT was suspended not long ago. I believe late April is when they got back their active status.
UNDT is releasing their 10-Q Monday. It should have all the profits from their sales in Japan. They sell radiation detectors and God knows they need them in Japan.
I hate the stupid disclosure crap. I called, yet again, and the guy says he can't even mention whether or not the sales in Japan will be on the upcoming 10-Q. What a crock. I understand not mentioning specifics, but if you cared anything about your stockholders, you would try to give as much info as possible. Bottom line, THEY DON'T CARE! After I sell, I'm not sure if I'm coming back to UNDT. It's a one-sided relationship.
You pressure stockholders to sell by keeping the bid low. As stockholders start to break and sell the price goes down. The panic spreads and people keep selling and the price keeps dropping.
What changed?
What's with the bid and ask size today? They're massive!
If you do that on the BB Stock Haven board, UNDT shows up on a ton of sites. Most stock pick sites get their list from BB Stock Haven. The more different people mention UNDT, the higher on the list it goes.
True. Seems all the bad talk is getting through a little.
Just marked you.
I set my sell at .0015 and I'm not budging. If people would quit selling and just let other investors buy up the remaining O/S, supply would lower and demand would drive the price up.
This is directly from the 10-K:
We are entitled under our articles of incorporation to issue up to 20,020,000,000 shares of capital stock which includes 20,000,000,000 shares of common stock, 20,000,000 shares of Preferred Stock. Our Preferred Stock may be designated in a senior position to our common stock. After taking into consideration our outstanding common stock at April 15, 2011 of 3,587,599,829 shares, we will be entitled to issue up to 16,412,400,171 additional shares of common stock and 20,000,000 of Preferred Stock. Our board of directors may generally issue stock, or options or warrants to purchase those shares, without further approval by our stockholders based upon such factors as our board of directors may deem relevant at that time. It is likely that we will be required to issue a large amount of additional securities to raise capital to further our development or convert outstanding indebtedness to equity. It is also likely that we will be required to issue a large amount of additional securities to directors, officers, employees and consultants as compensatory grants in connection with their services, both in the form of stand-alone grants or under our stock plans. We cannot give you any assurance that we will not issue additional common stock, or options or warrants to purchase those shares, under circumstances we may deem appropriate at the time.
I highly doubt the O/S jumped as much as you're suggesting in less than a month. But I guess we'll have to wait for the 10-Q to confirm.
Fstarr is right. You're just adding to the confusion. Your disgruntlement is your own fault. You bought into radiation detection stocks when there wasn't much of a need. As bad as it is, you have to profit off of others misfortune. You bought at a bad time.
First, jimmy, you're horribly wrong.
Your methodology for finding it is absolutely absurd. The volume is not just shares bought, it's shares sold as well. 1M volume could mean that the same 100,000 shares were bought 5 times and sold 5 times.
The O/S is 3.59B (Market Cap divided by share price). The float (shares on the market) is 3.46B. That means that 130M shares are owned by insiders.
Who did you talk to? I just called and I was told that UNDT is active and the website should reflect that when it's updated on Sunday.
It has two differenct statuses on the same site. Absolutely stupid. But, the one you were looking at says it's updated weekly so hopefully by the end of today.
If the thing with releasing an 8-K within four days of an event is true, UNDT has to release something today or tomorrow. Hopefully, EOD so the buzz can churn through the weekend and start strong on Monday.
The big thing is that they can do business again. *Hint Hint* Sell their products
Having their status changed from "Suspended" to "Active" means that they have paid their taxes and are now in good standing with the State of California.
Effects Of Suspension
Whichever agency suspends a corporation will mail the corporation a suspension notice, at which time the corporation is thereafter disqualified from exercising its corporate powers, rights and privileges. In other words, the corporation cannot legally operate.
Until the corporation corrects its suspended status the corporation will be unable to transact any business, answer a lawsuit filed against it, initiate litigation, or protect and preserve its name. Any contract executed by a suspended corporation is voidable at the demand of the other party. And, any person who attempts or purports to use any of its corporate privileges is subject to fines and/or imprisonment. The only exceptions to the loss of corporate privileges upon suspension are that the corporation may (1) change its name by amendment to its articles of incorporation, and (2) apply to the FTB for tax-exempt status. Nevertheless, all suspended corporations are still required to pay all the applicable taxes and to file tax returns (even if no money is earned).
The FTB will issue a delinquent penalty for failure to file a timely tax return of 5% per month up to a maximum of 25%. Interest begins on the original due date of the return. The FTB will issue a demand penalty when a corporation fails or refuses to furnish information requested by the FTB or fails to file a tax return after written notice and demand. In either case, the demand penalty is 25% of the FTB's assessment of what is owed or 25% of the tax shown on the return when filed before any refundable credits and payments from the original notice to the date full payment is received.
Status is ACTIVE!

UNDT's status should be active this Friday. I went to the California Secretary of State website. It updates weekly on Fridays.
What is the purpose of the recent 8-K? I see that the most recent amendment was 2008, I believe.

Definitely hanging on to UNDT for awhile.
UNDT Order Amounts Confirmed!
User JBodie received an email from the sales manager at APP Systems, the company marketing UNDT's products in Asia. They said that UNDT has sold ~400 products! Finally!
And why is that?
Considering there have been orders and we're just waiting on numbers, in addition to the fact that there is little to lose (.001) and a lot to gain (???), I'm willing to take my chances and either ride UNDT to the promiseland or go down with the ship.
What does everyone have their ASK at right now?
No clue. They should all just sit back and let this thing run. I'm expecting PR from UNDT after hours today to sometime tomorrow considering today is the last trading day until Monday.
What do you mean?
You might be a little off
I found the email address for Ronnie Tan from a previous post. I emailed him and got an autoreply. I emailed one of the other email addresses he gave me and they wouldn't give me a specific number but said definitely more than 40.
Has anyone contacted UNDT about how many units they might have sold?
UNDT is poising for a bull run
Check the PR, the volume and the hangtime at .0012
I've set my ask price at .0015 trying to coerce the bids up
Can't seem to break .0012!
I hope we can break the .0012 ceiling
UNDT is ready to rock!
After all the PR about marketing in Asia, UNDT finally put out some good PR. They apparently have sales already in Asia and the U.S.

My question is: is everyone expecting this to stay in pennyland, or are we thinking $1 plus?
I am very inclined to agree with you. UNDT's previous 10-K's also stated that they didn't know if they would be able to continue OPS and they're still running. Also, considering the need for the equipment now, UNDT is worth holding to see if it works out.
haha touche. Guess I have my head in the clouds
