Yea, it's easy to say that he (Jerry) should have went for it after the fact, but in my opinion, his caddie helped put him in perfect position, on the green less than 20 feet needing a 2 putt for the win. His nerves just got the better of him. You could actually see the putter head shaking during the putt. In the playoff he had about a 6 footer for birdie to stay alive and basically it was the same thing, it wasn't even close.
And again, in the interview after the match, Jerry took 100% of the blame and didn't try and put it on his caddie, he just said that he should have went for it. I really think that ugly shot that you refered to, played on their minds, and played into the decision to lay up. I mean you definately wouldn't want to do that on Sunday needing par to win. Plus, the fairway on 18 slopes toward the water and every shot is played with the ball below your feet.
I have a question for anyone who watched the Champions Tour tournament this weekend. Jerry Pate had about 190 yards over water for his second shot on the par 5 18th, and only needed to make par to win. His caddy talked him into laying up and he ended up making bogey after 3 putting and eventually losing in the playoff.
My question is.............do you feel his caddy was wrong in trying to get him to lay up or was it the right play and Jerry just blew it by 3 putting?
My view is......that the lay up was 100% the right move, and the caddy got his player to within 20 feet and a 2 putt of winning the tournament and Jerry just could not finish the job. Also, I do want to say that Jerry in no way blammed his caddy, and said that it was his call in the end to make, but he did say it was the wrong shot and he should have went for the green in 2.
Also something to think about is that Jerry fatted his 2nd shot on 18 in an earlier round and hit it about 50 yards coming up just short of the water. Said it was the ugliest shot he had ever hit in his professional career.
What do you think? Was the caddy right in getting him to lay up? Was Jerry right in wanting to go for it in 2?
WOW, that along with the fact that an 18 year old won on the LPGA tour on Sunday. Seems like the women are coming on strong. Makes me want to get my 10 year old daughter out on the course.
What is so hard to believe about someone who is 9,000 in the hole here. I'm sure there are many that are much more than that. Also, do you still think that cat is not Daryn? Kind of obvious there telling everone to hold those shares like gold. LMAO
What type of pool are we going to have for the Open? Kind of like the Masters or something differant. Just wondering cause it is right around the corner. TIA
Average of 280 off the tee at 14 years old? Hummmmmm
Yea, I was just being facetious.
Anyone keeping up with the Big Break II winner Kip Henley in his first Nationwide tourny. In my opinion he's making a very good showing for himself, even par with about 10 holes to play. Will probably not make the cut but he has shown he can play. He actually shot 2 under yesterday if not for a 2 stroke penalty that he called on himself. Bad break, but he does have 5 more exemptions coming up to show what he can do. I think he'll definately make a few cuts.
Where is the board moderator that is supposed to be deleting all these repetitive, duplicate posts.

Bill, concerning your PM, I have told you numerous times that I no longer subscribe to I-hub and can not PM you. Sorry. Also, concerning the FACT that you're a stuckholder, hey if the truth hurts I really don't know what to say. Because I'm right there with you, although I have sold most of mine.
$31.00 for a damn T-shirt? LMFAO, he really thinks shareholders are gullible don't he? Geeeez, sure hope he didn't have to many of those printed up.
By the way, haven't checked in in awhile, but I do hope all you stuck holders are doing fine. Have a great day.
IBCS I Bought Can't Sell
True, him attending the Byron is purely out of respect for the man.
I personally like courses that are a little differant and not the cookie cutter variety that we see so many tournaments being played on today. Guess thats why I always loved the British Open since it was differant from what we see over here. St. Andrews this year should really be fun to watch.
Tiger Woods doesn’t play the Bank of America Colonial. Hasn’t since he tied for fourth in 1997. He’s not too fond of Colonial Country Club. Has indicated that it’s outdated and doesn’t suit the “modern player.”
I guess if Tiger can't hit driver pitching wedge to all the par 4's and driver 6 iron to the par 5's then he just doesn't want to play. I think Colonial is a great test of golf, and the great players should prove their game on all types of courses.
I agree with what I heard Gary Player say the other week, that it is time to take some distance off the golf ball, say maybe 30 yards or so. As he said, when Tiger Woods tees up for a round, par is 68. There are no par 5's for someone who hits the ball 350 yards.

Isn't it amazing seeing what these guys did yesterday at the TPC and they're struggling at Cottonwood. Like what you said about Colonial though, Cottonwood this year is playing where shot placement is very important because of the high rough. It's really playing tough if you don't hit it in the fairway.
JD -1 after 2 at the TPC today
question is, who sits around on Saturday listening to internet radio?
If you say so LMAO
As it turned out, both courses scoring ended up being about the same, although I feel the reason being the TPC course played much easier in the morning rounds with no wind and when the big names (Tiger, Els, Singh, Mick) played in the afternoon, the wind was much stronger and scoring definately was higher. Except for Els of course. LOL
I couldn't believe how short some of the par 4's on the front side of Cottonwood were. I'm sure Daly drove about 3 or 4 of em. Although I don't know the course and there could be doglegs or water or something. Either way I was thinking tomorrow the big 4 could go VERY low over there.
I agree, I mean yes it was a great shot, but basically all he had to do was chip it into the hill and let it feed back down. That hole is set up that way every year on Sunday and there have been many hole in ones made over the years and at least 3 chip ins from basically that same spot as Tiger's.
In your life have you ever seen anything like that?
Actually yes, twice, Davis Love III and before that Arnold Palmer.
LOL, here we go again.
Danny I've sold on about 5 differant occasions all the way down. Most times they gave me 5,000 and dropped the bid. Still stuck with alot of my shares. And yes you did try and tell me, that I won't deny. Thanks for trying though.
IBCS...........
I Bought Can't Sell
Yea I can really see sponsers beating down the doors for 50 to 250 thousand. LMAO. Most potential sponsers for IBCS have no money. If they could afford spending that on advertising they would expect to get a hell of alot more out of it than IBC could ever offer. I mean think about it, the only thing these worthless companies have to offer is worthless shares. Definately not 50 to 250 thousand. That's why when a company does pay cash they get the advertising for 5,000 but when they pay with shares it equals around 40,000. Oh but lets not forget if a company has something else to offer such a barter dollars. LMFAO
Yea I would laugh too if I just bought more shares. To keep from crying that is.
stju, explain why you think the bid should move up just because you bought shares? IMO, the only way you will be able to make the bid move up is if you decide to buy all that Daryn or any other company employee has left to sell. And you don't have a clue how many that is. But please don't let me stop you. All JMHO
Same here, I stopped listening about a month ago, just check in here throughout the day just in case something may be going on. I still have about ¼ the shares I once had but I'm not holding out much hope for anything good to happen. Although selling now is not really worth it, might as well watch em go to zero. GLTY
It really puzzles me as to why fullhouse has gotten so obsessed with IBCS. I mean I feel pretty much the same way as far as I've given up on them. But you can tell that by my lack of posting, not by me turning into a relentless basher. I mean hell, who's got the time for that. Unless of course, he's on someones payroll out there and getting a nice check for his bashing. If that's the case, hey fullhouse, send them my way, I would love to make some easy money. LOL
IBCS........I Bought Can't Sell
It's definately playing tough today. You gotta love those closing holes of 16, 17, 18. Those couple of 69's posted by Singh and Verplank could very well be the lowest of the day.
Kind of reminds me of you posting the same thing over and over again just filling up space on this message board. Telling us nothing we don't already know and just repeating it over and over and over.
Lots of big names at the top of the leaderboard is setting up for some awesome pairings this weekend. Lets not forget about Joey though, he likes the coarse for sure and just seems to quietly post good numbers.
Danielle finished up at -8 79 and I have to say I am impressed with the back nine of 36 +1 that she had. I'm sure it took some time to settle the nerves and in my opinion she did a decent job. Much better than I was expecting. Good job girl.
Not here cause I'll have to agree, although she's even through her first 2 on the back and I would like to see her keep from embarrassing herself.
Agree, and right after I posted I saw Sergio had 2 bogeys in a row and is back to -4. Quail Hollow is a tough course and should be a good test for those guys.
Sergio on a tear shooting a 30 on his first 9 in Charlotte.
Danielle struggles to a 43 on the front. 7 over after 9 is not what she had in mind I'm sure.
I think both can be summed up with one word.
Destiny
Agree 100% fu. We've given this company every opertunity to show that it was worthy of us holding long. And we did hold long, and we held longer, and we held even longer. If at any time we decide to sell some or all of our position, it is definately not because we have not given this company time to show signs of success. We have. And we've only seen signs of a company going nowhere. I can only be happy that I unloaded some of my shares along the way. Recently been trying to unload more but everytime I try and sell, they give me 5000 and drop the bid. What does that tell you. I know what it tells me. IBCS.....I Bought Can't Sell. A saying has never been more true.
I agree, I love a tournament where only a few guys manage to break par. They say this Louisiana tournament starting today could be pretty tough. Over 7500 yards long, and they say they are calling for winds up to 30 mph. It's also a new TPC course that they haven't played before.
