Tiger Woods doesn’t play the Bank of America Colonial. Hasn’t since he tied for fourth in 1997. He’s not too fond of Colonial Country Club. Has indicated that it’s outdated and doesn’t suit the “modern player.”

I guess if Tiger can't hit driver pitching wedge to all the par 4's and driver 6 iron to the par 5's then he just doesn't want to play. I think Colonial is a great test of golf, and the great players should prove their game on all types of courses.

I agree with what I heard Gary Player say the other week, that it is time to take some distance off the golf ball, say maybe 30 yards or so. As he said, when Tiger Woods tees up for a round, par is 68. There are no par 5's for someone who hits the ball 350 yards.
