Pfffttt. More propaganda. What is sick is the debt. Economy and unemployment didn't really spiral until present admin. Yes, it did go lower under Jr., but even with all the wars, didn't have the debt we have now with all the freebies. There's nothing to say if Jr. had remained in office, the economy wouldn't have rebounded, after all, the same Feds like Bennie B. are still the same people running it.
usually the payment for Safeguards of currency is very, very low, and APDN would lose money. We've sent the notices for currency anti-counterfeiting contracts to APDN before.
actually it is, CAT. Just takes a while to hit all the newswires. Notice that it is a PRNEWSWIRE article. NASDAQ.COM has released it: http://www.nasdaq.com/press-release/long-island-companys-dna-system-to-help-police-id-london-burglars-20131007-00556
afraid I hadn't been watching for weeks now, just getting around to reading some of the PRs. But it seems so far, nothing noteworthy enough to hold it up in mid teens, so a slow leak started, thrown in with a spooked market. They've been always hush-hush about the share structure, so we don't know if they've been selling shares to punch additional holes in the helm, to keep up with financial needs.
Right now, we just need to get out of the October woes- Sequester and the upcoming debt ceiling, or what little market influence there is for pressure on APDN, it certainly won't boost it back up.
thanks all. But looks more like a bilge job right now, not just steady the ship.
Yes. Always really tough. The house I bought was what we picked, with primarily him in mind. Would have let the deposit go, but just didn't see anything else that I would have been happy with, plus I look at it that HE approved of this one for me, for us- I believe he knew wasn't going to be.
LOL, that is very true.
eehhh. maybe profitable someday, the trickle downhill to investors.
good reading here, but doesn't even mention revamping old wells/leases. But do note the difference in tax incentives as you go up in bopd production: http://www.investopedia.com/articles/07/oil-tax-break.asp
Yeah, just been busy with the move. Keeps me functioning anyway. No time for posting
hmmm. Both, actually. When one considers the Robinson's holdings of shares, and their other private companies they "borrow" from, get the nice tax break his full-bloodied Cherokee wife gets for low-to-nothing cost Indian Affair loans, then loans the money to CAVR. Then of course, the nice tax incentives itself for revamping old wells.
CAVR is not a driller, though. CAVR is one of the many small O&G companies that take the big tax incentive method of restarting old abandoned oil sites.
too bad it didn't keep it's high today, but still good gain for a crappy market week. Got to love the Ruskies.
been holding it awhile. Eventually I figure they would branch out better with Putin in charge again.
they've hit some lows as of late, but the new finds will bring them back up. Same all over for deep water companies.
Hopefully, you can stay in long enough with the market issues. RMTI had great potential, was a little slow getting some green lights.
SO how it's doing? I've been a bit too busy lately with a move. Be another month I think before I'm back to normal stock watching. Though this week has been real bummer, don't want to look.
always a move up. Sorry haven't posted much lately. Another month and all should be normal I hope. Blowing the back out every couple days is something I have to give up, LOL. Still hanging on to the mREITS. Funny how they FINALLY started the "Well, maybe we shouldn't stop QE right now."
I can agree with all that. Definitely she is a factor in t'ween behavior
that would be nice. With Putin in power, it should stay a monopoly.
hoping for a nice recovery. It had been on skids for sometime.
Govt backed REITs have taken royal beating last few months, a lot of speculation that they have to lower their payouts with the QE easing destroying their profits. A lot of them have diversified in anticipation of it. So it is to be seen (and part of the risk) as to whether or not NYMT is as hurt as the sector itself. It still pays much better than regular stocks.
yes I am still here in NYMT and others, just been in limbo between selling a house and buying a house, stuck in hotel living for about a month now, so little time spent on Ihub.
Alas, no. Taking solitary time these days to grieve and try to keep my sanity, and resolve the mess it made of a Deed in both our names and a new one in progress. Hope everyone is staying calm with the recent slip in APDN, it is trying to pull back up.
Actually, no. In between houses yet, what a nightmare. Maybe will draw to a close soon, actually a couple of them, LOL. I haven't been watching market much, I guess Agora has run out of steam as far as APDN is concerned.
yes, nice climb back up, finally. The Middle East driving oil prices back up even affects the bottom independents like CAVR.
candlesticks aren't for everyone. It is only a guideline or one of many tools one can use. Recent market drop would not have been part of a candlestick prediction. Now it is part of candlestick for a few days, but at a drop of a hat, that could change, either by news, or a global event.
maybe it was just too late of a signing and get out the news before market close. Or maybe there is an issue with him?
May pick up a few shares, knock down my avg. Middle East woes should improve the profits.
thanks A1M. I'll still be in and out here for a while, be catching up somewhat while waiting for a house, now that most of paperwork is done. Have time now to even watch the market a bit.
yes, it is. Always going to be a demand for pipelines. The recent issues in Middle East will push it higher.
Thanks everyone. Finally have time to catch my breath here. Been piles and piles of paperwork to do, relating to his passing, plus setting up new state's doctors, dentists, car title, plates, etc., with no mailing address. Be another week before mail on hold in old town finally makes it here to temporary P.O. box, since I am basically "homeless" right now, for maybe another couple weeks, or a month. House pending sale, and new house buy pending sale of the other. Should have known the market would dive too, LOL.
Thanks, WT1.
Thanks, MB. Love you Girlfriend.
Wish I could IMP, But house was supposedly sold, close on 15th, which turned out to be unrealistic date, they could never close that soon with the type loan they went for, and were NOT advised to not use that date and screw everybody. Anyway, movers came yesterday, so I'm now screwed. Buyer's realtor (who keeps screwing things up, got around to paperwork late on "closing" day, to ask for one month extension. But turns out, they were too high of income for that loan (Mr. Screwup talked them into switching to it.)
On the other front, with Hubbie's passing, I now need to pay 60% down. Not going to have the equity check from this house for the new house's closing, no life insurances will be in time either.
Anyway, daughter (who I flew in Monday, realizing his living will made death imminent)and I are working day and night to get house cleaned and be out of here, get her down to new area where she's never been, to see if she still wants to move into the area, then fly her back home, all while running cremation and pickup tasks, closing local accounts, estate, and start notifying all gov agencies that pay him annuities. If the house sales hadn't been going on, yeah, perhaps just time to grieve or withdraw. But that luck is not in the cards. But thanks for your condolences and emotional support. I'm also truly sorry for your losses also.
yes
they all are bargains right now.
Thanks, WT1. Nope. He passed very early Tues.
a lot of talk these days from Prez, affecting a lot of things since he's spewing radical agenda.
