We have to remember that we are not the lead dog anymore. We are Intel, making (or used to make) microchip processors for Apple. Intel doesn’t put out the announcement about a new IPhone, or new Apple market in China, Apple does. We’re just the supplier now (OEM) and it’s up to those companies we supply to put out news. Of course, all along, we are making money, like Intel, hand over fist!
It’s a new ballgame after yesterday. If you don’t get that, you’re not paying attention. We now have a real business person in charge.
And it’s not the damn virus!! Just another excuse! New products coming out right through this.
Yes, me too. I said I didn’t care if she carved the news in stone as long as she got it out - after her no more tweets, just pr’s.
Remember when the market dropped like a rock and KW was so proud the Biel share price had not moved from a sterling price of 0006-0007 (which was embarrassing enough). Well, the markets has gained about 6000 points since then and, proud to say, we’ve dropped to 5-6. Not so much.
Here’s part of an email I got this morning from another company I own shares in. This is what we should have gotten six, seven months ago. How a real company works:
The Company’s expansion of its Board of Directors is intended to strengthen its corporate governance and to directly address the requirements for listing on a national exchange.
The new members-elect are expected to be formally nominated and seated as voting members within the next sixty days. The expanded board brings a wealth of experience in international manufacturing operations, corporate finance, and accounting. The board will help the Company navigate what management expects to be a period of significant growth.
You don’t need a stash — you can order more from Amazon or Biel anytime you want and get them delivered. If they were at 3000 CVS stores, as they could have been, any of us could go there, walk right in and buy it off the shelf. The virus is no excuse for selling a pain relieving, heath care product now. In fact, the virus should be a positive for us. I’m still seeing lots of products on TV to relieve pain. Virus is NO excuse.
?gain, drugstores have never closed, all matter of pain relief items have been fully stocked and selling. Anyone can go into a drugstore and get what they want for pain, or nail files, or anything else. The virus is no excuse for not having our product out there just like Tens, and thermawraps, and Tylenol. After all, we’re not talking nail files here. Oh wait, yes, you can get as many of those as you want, just not Actiatches!! Time to stop using the virus as an excuse — it never was.
Yes, I’m all in with the OEM marketing. But just last year Actipatches were in over 300 CVS stores, prominently displayed, a special display. They were selling, pharmacists were getting good feedback, I drove an hour to a store to buy five, as did others. I talked to the pharmacist. I talked to my local CVS about stocking them. And for what? Nothing. OEM will be great, when and if it happens. Or, Kelly’s promises could be just like her old man’s, worthless. Great legacy, KW!!
Which is why if Andy had gotten them on the shelves a year ago they wouldn’t be new items now. Plus, I see no difference with the shelves in my CVS and Walgreens. Their shelves are still stocked with everything. Even some sales of a new product is better than none. No more excuses!
Sorry — just think if Andy had done just one deal and we now had Axcttipatches prominently displayed in over 3000 CVS stores. Just that one deal— and damn the margin! — what would our pps be now?
Just think if Andy had done just one deal and we now had in over ’3000“8&
There’s no reason for the virus to stop her. Drugstores have never closed. Health goods are readily available. Great time to be selling pain relief. Think of all the knee, back, elbow, whatever surgeries that have been put off. Those people are in pain and buying pills, Tens, heat pads, anything until the hospitals open for elective surgeries. And where are the Actipatches? Nowhere to be found. This could have been a great opportunity!
I’m with you Srin, but after ten plus years of dreaming, and giving away over a hundred Actipatches, I’m tired of cutesy, and want some solid news, preferably in a real PR. Then I’ll thank her.
Her tweet just looks like “in your face a-hole shareholders” — sounds of silence indeed!! In she really this insensitive and deaf?
Not if they’re not on any shelves! They were once — on over 300 CVS shelves, prominently displayed — but old man Whelan killed that. So now they’re back in storage. Will they ever be discovered? Not in crates in a warehouse!
KW can’t even put out a monthly update — as she promised she would in a big tweet. 180 days have come and gone — 200 plus now — and so has the 15th for the update — two weeks ago. So has the “I hope to finish up the contract today and get it out before the market closes.” ( going on a month ago). Even her in poor health, senile father was putting out updates every two weeks before he died. So, she’s had her 180 days, she failed. Time to go back selling Healfast in Canada (did she ever even sell one in ten years?) and get a real CEO.
Enough with the virus! No excuse. We have thee drugstores in my little town plus a Wal-Mart. All are open. All their pharmacy shelves are full. People going in every day to get their medications and buy, oh, I don’t know, pain pills, Tens devices, heating pads, and everything else related to pain treatment except the FDA fully-approved, cutting edge technology, Actipatch.
Nothing like the flu.
Exactly. And all of use who went to our local CVS to promote Actipatch, and buying every Actipatch on the shelf if they had them, were told to F off by our CEO if we complained about nothing happening with that.
We should be making a deal with a company making a range of health care products - the hottest thing in the market. We’re selling a health care product. Drugstores are open, selling health care products. The virus is NO reason for not making a deal.
Drugstores are still open. People still have pain — maybe more so. What’s the problem here? #noexcuses !!
Kelly the bike rider is relaxing. Maybe if she took twenty minutes to tell her shareholders — like the dozens of business emails I get every day telling me what those businesses are doing during the virus, and what it means for their business — to tell us something then she would be acting responsibility like a CEO. Hell, even the little mom and pop shops are using Facebook to tell their customers what is going on. Relax indeed!
Where is the mid-months news letter Kelly promised? Can’t she even do that? Her dad at least got out a news letter every two weeks for a while. She seemingly can’t even do once a month. It’s the 17th — get out some damn news!!
Well, what did we get from Keith’s big message about the world finding out all about Actipatch? We got a 2/100s of a cent rise in price a week later, and a lot of reading material for passengers on the Biel Express to look at while sitting in the station waiting another week, month, year for departure.
The FDA full, unreserved approval is the gold standard for approvals. It’s what we’ve been laying all our hopes on for more than a decade. I’ve seen stocks shoot up tens and hundreds of dollars just for a rumor about getting this approval. We got 2/100s of a cent.
Only problem with that is that KW seemed to know a month ago the clearance was coming through. She was the one that said Feb. 2, or before. Two weeks ago they were talking about FDA checking the labeling. Keith last Friday said this week. Better be tomorrow.
It’s been such a long wait for many of us. Is anybody else still a little in disbelief??
But I’m sooooooo happy!!
Congratulations to all!
Go Biel!
Onward and upward!!
Late afternoon buying! Check!
Company announcement of clearance soon after closing!! Check!
FDA puts the full clearance notice on its board after midnight Sunday
(Soon after the 49ners win the Super Bowl!!)
Huge Biel gap up Monday at opening!!
Biel Train leaves the station and, one after another, passengers become millionaires!!
Last time, when they did the partial FDA approval, trading picked up Friday afternoon about an hour or two before the close. All the insiders getting their buys in. That told us something was happening. After close we got a company notification that they had received some approval from the FDA. So then, Monday came the announcement from the FDA — when they normally announce decisions — and by that time Biel had taken off, reaching 50 cents eventually. Then people realized that we hadn’t received full back and body clearance but only some stupid gender difference nonsense and neck, and we started to drop. That’s the way I remember it. I know there was a lot of insider trading on Friday afternoon before any kind of announcement. That’s what I’m looking for, then maybe something from the company after the close. Nothing FDA official until Monday.
Anyone else remember it this way? I know some people heremonitor the Monday FDA announcements.
Great! Whenever you’re ready, I’m set to go!
Toot! Toot!
Find me a seat somewhere toohot. I think my 9 years waiting for the Biel train to arrive earns me a seat on this express. Need too late to be a millionaire!!
Go Biel!
Another MONSTER 80 cents sell (1000 shares). Profit taking? Getting out while they can? Following the advice of the “experts” on this board? They’ll regret it. Tomorrow they could made a buck sixty!
Somebody’s buying relatively big today!!
Did I miss something, or are the November 15 financials still not out yet? Awfully lot of silence here and from Biel about no news on them. I thought they might be very positive so they were holding them until the market open this morning rather then releasing them late Friday.
I don’t expect them to be earth shattering but to at least show continued upward sales increases from the June ones. What I don’t like under the new team is for them to be late.
And we’re finally going to have a Board of Directors!
My E*TRADE shows .0007 and .0006. I think the .0001 was a computer glitch, as the bid/ask 6/7 never changed. I bought some at .0001 a long time ago. I know .0001. This was not .0001.
BIEL + Actipatch + FDA Clearance announced this Monday AM =
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Dropping like a rock! .00075 now! (On an $8.50, 11,000 share trade!!) LOL!!
Plus, there are at least two in Illinois - one in Peoria and one near Chicago.
Ah yes, the poor man’s Oxycondin! That’s what we turn to in Illinois as well! Or, the go to remedy of our neighbors to the South — Kentucky bourbon. And the best part, with Actipath we can get pain relief and still have beer and bourbon!
As far as I know, there’s only one store — on the list already — that stocks Actipatch in Illinois. Seems like it’s a east west coast trial so far. Right, people in Midwest don’t have pain. St. Louis area doesn’t have any stores yet either.
