I am not buying at 1s. All I pick up are 2s. Been there, done that. MMs play the 1s much too often to wait for the crumbs that may fall through to investors. Grabbed a whole bunch when there was no bid though.
I picked up a bunch today at 2s. I do not feel that the price I paid is worth the gamble to wait to get 1s. I expect this to bust out soon and I want to "have" rather then "hope but failed" on getting 1s.
It must be in the air! I 'have a feeling' that this is the week grpr moves forward out of the doldrums. 3s, 4s and 5s have a very good chance of raising their heads! News "is just around the corner" now and many are going to jump on board as the week wears on. March is the month for grpr. I am buying more!
Just playing the odds here...seemingly better for the investor these days...
It is great to have the health benefits of MJ becoming mainline now that the legal mumbojumbo is on the wane. It is about time. The effects on the "sweet" parts of the brain have been "known" for EVER. But only recently has research been more direct on finding and using those benefits to medical applications.
It stands to reason that MJ would have similar benefits on pets (be assured THEY were the first test subjects to actually benefit from the medical benefits). I remain confident that ENTB, given its business plan, will NOT remain removed from applying MMJ benefits in the vet. industry as well.
BGNN is not a long hold for me. I came in so but due to the recent "developments" I have determined this to be a short term play.
There is a lot of speculation at the MJ end and emotions seem to rule the day. Excitement exists for the prospects of a buyout or reverse merger into a weed industry. Enough information is about to provide the incentive to me to think short rather than long.
My comments here are just to express that view as another option of consideration during the pps rise. From my perspective, I am preparing to sell into the emotion. At this time, with the info available, I am not considering a tremendous or sustainable rise in the pps.
Accordingly, I am suggesting that BGNN is in play and offers a trading out opportunity with reasonable gains. Timing is critical and not without possible regret, but staying indefinitely seems to be too risky to me. Keep your eyes open!
buffalo...Appreciate the time you spent to follow up on this. Info as this provides further confidence (IMO) that grpr is legit and remains viable. I know that time is a pain to wait when someone wants to make money NOW. Here, an investor has to wait - in time, we will have evidence either way. I suggest that it will be in our favor.
Have faith.
thanks for going the extra mile by calling. That thanks applies to the CEO as well. This is one of these opportunities that depend on the old style of making it in business - hard work, determination and offering a product worthy of a consumer's attention and trust that the product will provide what the manufacturer say is will!
You build such a company, sales will come. I am here because I believe this company offers that guarantee. A gamble at this stage, yes. Entry at an early stage of development ALWAYS increases risk. But it also affords those that do have such vision of success much more reward when it happens.
Jumping on a winning horse three yards from the finish line gives credit for a win, but the true faith of an investor is tested when he sits on that horse right out of the gate. I got on then.
New investors entering the horse race now would not be too far from that gate now...still a big test of investment will. But it is a bit clearer now. I'd say jump on now.
I have been here a long time and will be a long time more...yet, this recent push beyond expectations in this time frame. Knew to trust my DD and the product line. Paid off! It is nice to have one of these subs rise to the surface.
I am with you. I finally jumped in on this one. Wanted to wait until end of next week...decided too risky. Seeing this below .02 surprised me, can't pass that up.
Also...increase is certain at this stage. Sure, competition will come from 'tree basket' nations, but not for some time. Then there is the American know how of making a better pellet (mousetrap scenario). We will stay ahead in that game.
I have been seeing that way for a long time. But buyout still on the table...but you will see it for MUCH MORE than a penny if it were to come!
If there is concern of kget losing the pellet contract...very doubtful. Shipping is a hassle everywhere...especially for new orders that have no set shipping contract. It will get done. The question is, will their product be competitive if their buyer checks out their competitors?
From what I have gleaned from the web on competitors...the whole industry has supply and demand worries. The business from potential buyers is booming right now. Europe can not get enough it seems.
So I doubt even delays in supplying the needs of their buyers right now is not of major concern...IF the delay is "reasonable" from a buyers perspective...stockpiling is a requirement in their industry and I am sure they plan on such delays.
Still, delays via production and delivery IS a concern here and I have yet to invest. Doubt is driving kget pps down. It remains doubtful that any change will occur this week or next. Beyond that...I will be on board banking that the business is viable.
Waiting for sure but not idle. I will continue to do some trading while I wait. Hold my core tight for long but I have many others to sell and re-buy - this stock now ideal for short-term traders. I might as well join them to pull off some small gains and re-inflate my holdings at a lower pps.
At least the 10-Q proves there is still a heartbeat!
Agree. This is driven by news not by fundamentals! Speculation on potential is what will make this baby pop. Any PR or news release will be necessary to have the pps move substantially from its current levels. It WILL happen.
Like you, I am very tired of seeing not just this company but nearly all of my sub-stock shares sit on the fence....waiting. Isn't anything happening in this land of pink???? BESIDES MJ!!!!
It is about time...the process of getting the drilling permit should not be taking this long (IMO). Did they screw up with the request? Requesting delay? Not applied at all? Bureaucracy that bad in California?
Like I said earlier, end of March is at the end of my "willing to wait". Nothing by then, I would label this a lost cause and use as a tax loss. Staying close at hand would no longer be necessary.
I am inclined to believe this reverse merger will have that effect.
Not inclined to doubt you
???? What does that mean?
I have no objection to anyone on this board. I am here to get a 'feel' for the general opinion of investors in their evaluation of current status and the DD that is available regarding SNDY.
Your commentary fits those expectations. Pros and cons NEED to be discussed. New as well as long investors must remain focused on the now.
As you have described, pros and cons continue to exist. Investors here remain on the fence. A shove either way and off we go. My bias leans toward the more positive aspects. Many on this board also lean that way as well as in the opposite direction.
SNDY remains 'iffy' at best.
With that approach, I am sure you have done well over the years. Good for you. I am a follower now....
I am all for it...I certainly wish you well as everyone else that sees the value here. I have little doubt this company will do well for its investors...DD right now does little to support the credit I give them. In this one, the 'gut' is working overtime. I think we have a winner here that will do all of us very well over the years. VERY FEW of my investments ever get this status...
aliangel....You and smitter are strong on the MJ side, not going to deny the possibility given what you have presented. I may take a softer view but believe me, I know things happen when you least expect them in the sub arena.
Lets just say that I remain mindful of both of your positions pertaining to the MJ connection regardless of my doubts...needless to say, I would not object to a play via the MJ route should it boost the pps much sooner than I anticipate!!
I have worn the WRONG hat many times before.
Looks like it. Seems reasonable to look at it that way:
Investor interest rising on potential => more shares bought for a longer hold => fewer shares available tightens the float => less supply, greater demand => rising pps! Yeah Baby!
Love the debate...I listen to and LEARN from such discussion ...especially when presented in the professional manner you presented smitter...great moderator skill!!
From my perspective, I have NO DOUBT that the rising MJ industry offers great potential for companies to expand their business...especially in the solar/greenhouse arena. In fact, I have a play for such in another company...but NOT GRPS.
I am here for the reasons previously stated. Per the MJ play...I simply do not believe that GRPS is in position to take advantage of it NOW. Nothing leads me to believe that GRPR's production facilities exist for such increasing demand for solar panels in the MJ industry. That is why I insist that it is a mistake to hype such for GRPR.
However, there IS a definite future possibility...it simply should not be reflected here and now. Doing so would, IMO, disillusion many entering GRPR now for the fast buck MJ connections may bring about in this current mode of interest...GRPS is a long-term play.
I totally agree and mirror your investment image. I still hold long. Seeing the pps slide since CE is not alarming...it only represents the sentiment expressed on this board for so long..WHEN?
Long term investors have been here A LONG TIME. The CE was thought to be the spring load...we would finally jump and keep on rising. Didn't happen. Many longs, IMO, threw in the towel when it didn't. Placing such hope on the CE was misguided.
Significant rise in sales or merger/buyout is THE ONLY THING that will bring SNDY out of the doldrums. And it is NOT going to happen quick...nothing happens quick with SNDY.
If you are not here for the same reason I am - belief in SNDY's products cutting edge design and viable fit to the rising use of endoscopy in medical science - then you are wasting your time.
Even R/S have not deterred me. I trade along the way, but I intend to stay. My trades simply reflect the need to manage my investment in the interim. Trades, if done effectively, allow me to maintain a reasonable pps even through R/Ss.
In start-ups like SNDY, using shares to maintain their existence is NECESSARY in order to survive. Management has to focus on survival - the investor has to focus on keeping their investment intact.
I have already done so during the last rise and current fall. I traded shares out at 34s and buying back in when I determine where MY bottom is...but I have not left. My "real" reward will come when SNDY enters the world as a 'household' name for their line of quality products...duly bought by a large number those who use such products and know the difference.
Janet...I would like to add that THIS IS NOT AN MJ PLAY. I know there has been talk of such but nonsense. While they do promote solar paneling, their business plan supports much broader use than MJ green houses. GRPS will realize little if any business from the MJ industry.
May or June is the earliest I would hope to hear of developments along the line of their business plan. Promise runs high for this company but it is long term prospects...no quick buck here unless you consider a 100-200% appreciation that may occur from these levels as we approach summer as quick.
yacknl....see what you started! You gave me hope and it appears that hope has spread to many more. Seems reasonable to me.
hey monda....great to see you as a moderator...seems to be a great board thus far...good input, lots of enthusiasm...
Great....took you a while! Nice seeing you here Janet
?????? Why would they bother? Unless...
Clear as mud! I still hear a heartbeat tho...
DD either brings you here or keeps you away. Doesn't matter how much! Some require more, some less. Regardless, you are here. You KNOW nothing of what the future brings - you are in the same boat we are all in. Future action/inaction makes you reevaluate your position. I am waiting for action to reevaluate, that is all.
You, on the other hand, have reevaluated based on inaction...or now have decided to reevaluate the DD that brought you here in the first place....or, are you here for our best interests based on your initial DD that would have normally chased you away - but altruism brought you to our aid?
Whoa! I am Soooooo ready!
I don't think you 'know' anything Nistel, neither do I. We simply express opinions based on our own experiences in investing.
I think we can both agree that ANY sub is a crap shoot. Too many variables and unknowns.
But that is NOT why I am here and I believe likewise for you - when we invest in subs we use whatever DD is available to get a 'gut feeling' for a given stock. If what ever little substance is out there gives us a good vibe, than we throw some money at the board and watch the dice roll.
On my grpr table, the dice are still in motion. I am just willing to stay until they drop. Nothing more, nothing less.
I type out these analogies whenever I get bored or something just rattles my chain. I try to simplify rather complex designs just to perk the interest of some investors that may get discouraged about how unfair the market truly is yet convey that everyone can override the disadvantage with some insight and determination.
The lawsuit sounds like sour grapes to me. $68K does NOT make you a major in a multimillion business. The CEO, in this case, sets the business plan and how best to realize it. I doubt, while it is a consideration, if this law suit has much of an impact...or can not be addressed adequately.
You can win. You CAN NOT get greedy though...that is reserved for the BIG BOYS. The rules are such to slant the game board in their favor. The playing positions are all taken. Batting is your only chance to play.
Without batting, you only have the "pleasure" of being in the game to sit on the bench...a lot of bench warmers are required with pockets filled with hard earned cash - pockets that have big holes in them.
Then those bench warmers are teased with a chance to play in the game by being asked to walk to the warm up box. Money gushes from their pockets! You swing a few times but, because you failed to grasp most of the pitching rules, you are either asked to return to the bench...pockets retaining some of that hard earned cash OR you simply leave the game with pockets empty!
Only those that managed to hit a few of the practice balls by quickly learning some of the pitching rules remain in the box. More practice balls come your way....Hit enough of them and you begin to step out of the practice box once in a while and actually bat at the plate. If you continue to get hits while at the plate and do not return to the practice box...well, you are in the game!
There are big boys out there who started on the bench WITHOUT substantial market background. They simply learned the rules of the game well (rules have changed relatively little since stock market inception) AND invested well.
Investing and playing the game are NOT the same. Most bench warmers like us 'invest'. We never quite learn the game. We know it is being played and we know we are on the bench but we fail to grasp the mechanics well enough to 'REALLY' win. We just get by or make a bit of pocket change to stay on the bench. While all around us those playing and winning in the "GAME" as well are growing richer by the minute.
I am on the bench and I know it, but I have been to the practice box too. I want to go back. I do not like the rules but I understand they are how the game is played. To get to the plate I must understand what those rules (by no means fair) are and learn to play within them...I intend to, how about you?
Acquiring? Through the swap or something new? Anyone able to substantiate the claim that NOTHING is happening in Texas either?
Brendan...check out the posts between me and kick...hmmmm! I do not know, but such info, if in fact valid, does not bode well here. I remain on board...I am a gambler, remember...it does me no good to split and run. I will use this 'investment' as a loss to cover gains if I have to. Still, it hurts to admit that previous optimism is not so high now. Expectations slump to new lows... Sorry if my enthusiasm in the past led you astray. I now am less optimistic. Hope these current thoughts prove unfounded.
kick...I have a bias in favor of the working man. I consider this DD. Believe Ya... too bad to see a halt in activities. Looks like the last PR regarding plot exchanges was nothing more than Solimar takeing advantage of some inside information...getting more promising stakes and dumping less promising ones. We could not have known. Sure changes my perspective. Thanks
This appears to be a classic P&D. Emotional "get in quick before it is too late" pumps on less than reliable rumors are a dead giveaway.
Some made $$ here. Company doing or simply an outsider scheme?
I did not move. Still retaining shares on the basis of previous DD.
