I am being told that the websites will get a major makeover in the very near future. They are much better then they have been and it is good to see the updates more frequently.
I am of the strong belief come September 5th there will be no stopping this company. Also July should prove to be an extremely informative month with plenty of POSITIVE and VERIFIABLE news.
This is just my opinion based on my DD from many different sources.

The Triangle Television Network (the “Company” or “TTN”) was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing both television and radio programming for the gay and lesbian community. While TTN expects much of its subscriber base will be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will be attractive to many other segments of the viewing public.
In order to attain these goals, contracts have been negotiated with a national satellite provider to distribute our programming, on a subscription basis, no later than September 5, 2001. The Triangle Television Network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the Triangle Television Network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
TTN is developing strategic partnerships with program providers and advertisers in order to provide quality programming while generating strong loyalty from our subscriber base. The Company has received oral and written commitments from a number of entities and individuals pertaining to, (i) providing advertising on behalf of the Company, and (ii) licensing feature films to the Company as part of the Company’s process of acquiring and producing programming at favorable rates. Our programming objectives are discussed extensively in the Programming and Distribution section of this business plan.
MARKET DESCRIPTION
The gay and lesbian population offers one of the most attractive demographic targets in the United States. The gay and lesbian community is highly educated, has a household income over 60% higher than the average American household and tends to have a much higher level of disposable income than the national average. Additionally, this niche group is disenfranchised from American society and effectively overlooked by mass marketing mediums. Occasionally, a gay character will spring into the spotlight of the mainstream media; however, those are few and far between (one of the most recent examples being the NBC program Will & Grace which features a gay man sharing a home with a straight female). The fact major networks and cable channels are beginning to offer programming and characters based on the gay and lesbian experience provides justification for the increased acceptance of gay and lesbian programming.
In June 2000, Packaged Facts (a KALORAMA INFORMATION, LLC, New York, New York) published the “The Gay and Lesbian Market” report specifically designed to provide essential data and comprehensive analysis of the gay and lesbian consumer market in the United States. This report is an analysis based on information collected through interviews and extensive review of various published materials.
With a population loosely estimated at 8-15% of the U.S. population or approximately between 21-40 million people, this enormous market is, in many ways unseen; and, at least by the mass marketing vehicles, untapped. This demographic group is an affluent and valuable consumer market. The report estimated the mean household (HH) income for gay men at $55,670.
The understanding and acceptance of the gay and lesbian market is in its infancy. The above-sited Packaged Facts report is the most comprehensive analysis of the gay and lesbian market and it was just published in June 2000. Prior to that time, marketers were limited to perceptions, personal observations and minimal numbers of published material when trying to understand the value of the gay and lesbian market. While there have been local and regionalized efforts to market to the gay community, there has not been a national effort to reach out and access this demographic group through a national television and radio network.
Additional highlights from the report include:
· 47% of gay men and lesbian women own their primary home
· 63% own a vacation or weekend getaway residence
· 93% have no children in the household (two person households)
· 46% live with lover or domestic partner
· 90% are employed (58% in professional or managerial careers)
· 58% are employed in professional/managerial careers
The gay and lesbian community has over $514 BILLION dollars in annual disposable income – a number simply too big to ignore. And, this estimated value does not include the ancillary market—friends of gays, parents, children of gays, and more. The value of this audience is overwhelming. To quote Simmons Market Research Gay & Lesbian Market Study (1997), “respondents are well-educated, affluent, sophisticated customers who show loyalty to advertisers willing to take the risk of marketing to them. Overlooking these individuals in any effort to cultivate a new consumer could mean the difference between profit and loss and it validates the value and purchasing power of gay and lesbian consumers compared to the general population.”
Is the gay market really worth it? Very much so! According to the Rivendell Marketing 1999 Gay Press Report, the annual advertising expenditures in gay print media (from 1994-1999) grew from 53 million to 155 million dollars. The gay and lesbian consumer represents one of the most attractive demographic targets in the United States. The community is highly educated, has a household income over 60% higher than the average American household, and has a much higher level of disposable income than the national average.
Additionally, the gay and lesbian community is disenfranchised from mainstream society. The Triangle Television Network will provide a vehicle to bring the communities together. To date, this market has been close to impossible for all parties to reach through mass marketing efforts. TTN offers a very attractive vehicle for marketers to target their products and services to the gay and lesbian community. Additionally, we will give companies a chance to thank this community for past patronage while introducing these same companies to new customers who did not realize which companies are gay-friendly.
The Triangle Television Network will meet many of the needs for today’s gay and lesbian community; vital people who are interested in a variety of programming that can enrich their lives. According to Packaged Facts, the average gay person expends more annually for travel, entertainment, reading and education than any other demographic group. In addition, due to the increased awareness of the gay community, a growing number of mainstream American companies are marketing to the gay consumer. These companies include such stalwarts as: IBM, United Airlines, American Express, Miller Beer, State Farm Insurance and Harley-Davidson Motorcycles to name a few.
TTN will embrace the energy of the untapped gay market—a market that comprises wide ranging needs, interests and spending power. The Company is positioned to provide a programming and advertising medium that is both timely and responsive to this enormous marketing opportunity.
In general, it is accepted that people will select products and/or services that best reflect what they want to be or what they want to have in their lives—the gay community is no different. The gay community has shown an unbelievable propensity to support advertisers who speak directly to them. Packaged Facts (June 2000) reports that 72% of gay and lesbian consumers prefer to buy from companies that advertise in the gay and lesbian media and 87% will remain loyal to these companies.
COMPETITION
The Company faces strong competition for the viewer’s discretionary spending from a number of other businesses in the entertainment industry. Triangle Television Network will compete with various forms of entertainment, including movies, video, audio-cassettes, the Internet, broadcast television (NBC’s Will & Grace), cable programming (Bravo Network) and other forms of entertainment. All of these resources will compete with us for not only the viewer’s discretionary spending, but, also for the viewer’s discretionary time. Additionally, we will be in competition with the below listed mediums for the advertising dollars expended to market and advertise to the gay and lesbian community.
CABLE
Currently, there are not any cable systems broadcasting only gay and lesbian programming on a nationwide basis. Research indicates only one local channel exists, C1TV out of the Florida, which has been marketing some specific programming to the gay community. Again, the primary benefit we offer to our viewers, and to our advertisers, is we are building a full-scale television and radio network with national distribution. No matter which American market you reside in, TTN is available to you.
PRINT
The Advocate and OUT are the two most popular national publications solely focused on the gay market. Combined, these two magazines reach approximately less than 2% of the gay market. There are a number of local and regional papers and magazines serving the gay community. Additionally, a network of gay publications from across the country, the National Gay Newspaper Guild (NGNG), claims to have a combined circulation of 229,250 with a readership base of almost 600,000. These are weekly and monthly papers that only cover major metropolitan areas.
While there are a great number of printed publications, most of them are localized. These publications can be an asset in getting the word out about TTN within pockets of areas that contain a high concentration of the gay and lesbian population. For a local target marketer, the print vehicles offer local geographic focus; but, for the mass marketer, these localized publications offer nothing more than limited and reduced capacity in regards to comprehensive national coverage.
ONLINE-Internet
The Internet has become a popular vehicle in the fabric and areas of interest for the gay and lesbian community. The Simmons Market Research Gay & Lesbian Market Study concluded that the gay and lesbian community has a propensity for being early adopters; therefore, it only makes sense that the gay and lesbian community would quickly adapt to using the Internet. The Internet offers a great deal of information, education and entertainment for the gay and lesbian community in a random and compartmentalized medium. Blending our television and radio medium with the Internet, TTN has the capacity to become the “vehicle of choice” in meeting the entertainment, information and educational interest for the community.
When a simple search for the “words” listed below was conducted using YAHOO, one of the primary mainstream Internet search engines, the following was the number of sites indicated:
Gay Lesbian Transgender Bi-Sexual
Web Category 505 506 33 0
Web Sites 6,332 4,304 752 23
Web Pages 401,000 216,000 45,700 9,470
And, that’s not even the big numbers! Using the search engine ALTAVISTA, “gay” indicated over 3 million web sites (3,031,394). The search engine GOOGLE indicated 1,080,000 sites. When a search for “gay film” sites was conducted, the search engine listed over 27,000 sites. While this offers a great deal of information, the mere quantity of websites makes the information highway slow to a standstill for the user because there are so many gay websites on the Internet providing information, education and entertainment for the gay and lesbian community.
TTN is beginning to contact many of the “favorite sites” frequented by the Gay and Lesbian community to begin building a mutually beneficial relationship. “Qpress”, a website that acts as a clearinghouse for gay and lesbian news agencies has expressed a strong desire to develop a partnership with TTN, offering TTN numerous possibilities including access to their Hollywood reporters and movie critics. This is one of many logical associations we are pursuing. Some of the other popular, active gay websites we may be able to associate with are www.gay.com, www.planetout.com, www.gaygate.com, www.rainbow-world.com, and www.gayamerica.com.
DISTRIBUTION and PROGRAMMING
By using satellite as our distribution vehicle, TTN is the first company to overcome the challenges of providing gay and lesbian television programming for the this large, affluent segment of the American population gay and lesbian community nationwide.
The TTN viewing audience will have to subscribe to both TTN and the satellite provider in order to receive our programming. By having a subscription requirement as part of the distribution vehicle available through both satellite and digital cable (versus analog), TTN has effectively provided a “double-lockout” situation for the general public. Additionally, there is a program lock-out function generated by the satellite provider that acts as a third level of screening for people not interested in viewing TTN. Both the programming and advertising standards for the Triangle Television Network will always adhere to the National Association of Broadcasting requirements.
The Triangle Television Network’s programming schedule will include movies, sitcoms, game shows, documentaries, news, finance, news magazines, travel, cooking and much more. Films and movies will air midday and overnight with serials being aired in primetime (6-9pm PST). We will be showcasing gay and lesbian films, entertainment programs and weekly serials from around the world. Our news and news magazine programs will cover world affairs, politics, festivals, local news and events throughout the United States and many other topics; all of which may have a slightly different twist when taken from the gay and lesbian perspective.
Over the weekends, TTN will primarily broadcast movies with the introduction of a number of programs from local markets. Currently, there are a number of local cable-access programs airing in individual cities. Most of these programs have never had the vehicle for national distribution. We are working to acquire the broadcast rights for these shows. We are confident our target audience will find the programs from different cities to be quite entertaining.
TTN plans on developing and producing a variety of shows from our studios, such as: The Gay Dating Game, Gay Bandstand, and much more. TTN is extremely focused on developing a fully staffed news department for providing comprehensive news and news magazine shows. Portions of our programming will be hosted and introduced by a studio personality, very similarly to how the American Movie Classics (AMC) channel has structured its programming. TTN will develop its own recognizable and outstanding personalities within the gay and lesbian community.
The Triangle Television Network is currently acquiring program rights, developing original programming, marketing to build subscriber base, acquiring sponsors and advertisers and creating vendor relationships. The Triangle Television Network is poised to begin broadcasting.
REVENUE STREAMS
ADVERTISING
Advertising will be sold in two formats:
1. Founding Sponsors Promotional Package – A one-year package that encourages major advertisers to formalize their commitment in supporting the alternative marketplace. The Founding Sponsor program allows companies to dollar cost average their advertising dollars budgeted for the gay and lesbian market. In addition to extensive commercial and sponsorship exposure time on our television and radio network, all founding sponsors will have a significant presence in the TTN Programming Guide. Additionally, our founding sponsors will receive placement and recognition on our Internet web site, all TTN sponsored events, promotions and print placement.
2. Showcase Sponsors – Advertisement sold on time, not including Founding Sponsors. Programming such as movies, sitcoms, plays and religious services will be broadcast uninterrupted. Based on our programming guidelines and founding sponsor requirements, TTN will have 2,167 minutes of ad time available monthly under our Showcase Sponsor program. The following annual average rate per minute applies:
Year 1: $750 per one minute spot
Year 2: $1,500 per one minute spot
Year 3: $2,250 per one minute spot.
SUBSCRIPTION
The Triangle Television Network will charge $19.95 per month for each subscriber to our network. Through our direct sales effort, media advertising, public relations, event promotions and word of mouth we have developed a business model which projects a viewer base of 85,000 subscribers by the end of year one. The subscription fee ($19.95 per month) will be billed by the satellite provider.
RETAIL SYSTEM SALES and MONTHLY RESIDUALS
As an authorized retail dealer, TTN will generate revenue two different ways.
1. TTN will receive a one-time retail sales commission for each new customer we deliver to the satellite provider who received hardware through TTN.
2. TTN will receive a monthly residual for each new customer that orders a complete satellite system from TTN and maintains an uninterrupted payment status over 12 consecutive months. This residual is paid at the end of each month starting with month 13. This residual payment continues for the entire time that customer remains with the satellite provider as an uninterrupted paying customer.
INTERNET
As we build our base of subscribers, we will use our website (www.triangletelevisionnetwork.com) as both an interactive tool with some of our programming as well as a conduit for promotions, news and information. Our website will become a portal for our subscriber base. Cleary, we can generate revenue through e-business, server hosting, banner ads, and other products and services our loyal customer base may choose to use TTN for. Our business model does not count on the Internet as a primary source of revenue initially, but of course this medium offers a potentially significant revenue stream in the future.
PROMOTIONS and EVENTS
As we develop a loyal and expanding customer base, TTN will sponsor events and promotions nationwide that will generate additional revenue and exposure for TTN.
Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. President Frank Olsen Announces Founding Sponsor Program for TTN is Ahead of Schedule
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jun 5, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Triangle Multi-Media Limited, Inc. (OTC: QBID) President and CEO Frank Olsen announced today that the Founding Sponsor Program is moving ahead of schedule. Triangle Multi-Media's goal for their Triangle Television Network is to sign up 35 founding sponsors on or before January 1, 2002. A founding sponsor is a sponsor who purchases $100,000 worth of advertising for the first year on TTN. The founding sponsors are made up of Fortune 500 companies. Most participating companies want to thank the gay community for its loyal patronage over the years. As the Marketing Supervisor from a major corporation recently stated, "What a wonderful way to show the gay community that we appreciate their business and that we wish to seek an even greater market share." Being a premium channel, access to TTN will be restricted to those customers who request it. TTN and its founding sponsors have agreed to make a joint announcement in early July. President Frank Olsen said they hoped to have at least 10 founding sponsors by that time.
The gay community has a $500 billion disposable income and with TTN they will soon have a television network of quality programming.
Olsen further announced that TTN will release its fall programming schedule on June 20.

Media firm to launch gay TV network
Premium channel to kick off nationwide broadcast Sept. 5
By Natalie Singer
The Desert Sun

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After months of false starts and delays, a local media company has set a new date to launch a nationwide television network providing gay and lesbian programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Frank Olsen, chief executive officer and president of Palm Springs-based Triangle Multi-Media Limited Inc., has announced that the company has acquired all television rights to broadcast the Triangle Television Network. The network will begin nationwide broadcasting on Sept. 5, Olsen stated in a press release.
Representatives from the company have declined to reveal which satellite provider will be used until financial transactions are complete.
Delays: The announcement comes after a series of false starts. Triangle had previously set Oct. 1, 2000, for the network’s launch, but that never happened.
Earlier this year, Triangle again announced the debut of the channel, then called the Gay Television Network, but the launch was again delayed.
Triangle consultant Rene Schenk said previous delays were the result of technical difficulties that have now been taken care of.
"In order for us to take out a television signal and move it to the Midwest, we need some very complicated fiber optics. The Coachella Valley does not have those fiber optics. This has been a major thorn in our sides," Schenk said.
He said the satellite connection has been arranged using Los Angeles as an intermediary point for transmission. "(Sept. 5) is our starting date. We’re carving this into granite," Schenk said.
Triangle representatives said the channel will be offered as a premium service to nationwide customers for $19.95 per month. Daily programming will include gay-themed sitcoms, films, game shows and sports events.
Triangle has not yet contacted Time Warner Cable to discuss broadcasting the network locally, said Bob Barlow, desert cities divisional president of Time Warner Cable.
Reactions: Local members of the gay and lesbian community said they are eager for the network’s launch and are hoping it comes through this time.
"It would be a great option for my guests, and it would probably be a great advertising opportunity," said Denise Goolsby, owner of the Bee Charmer Inn, a women’s resort in Palm Springs. "It could also expose the gay culture to people around the country. If this thing gets off the ground, it could really change things."

IMO many things are taking place behind the scenes. The PR we had this week is just the start. There are MANY rumors of a PR this week spelling out further details of the business plan. IMO I feel we are at a solid base at .03 cents.
I have spoken to DISH a few months back and they did confirm a contract back then. I would not say that if it were not TRUE. It seemed that Frank through all of the excitment was premature on his projected dates and has finally found the means and reasons for the new launch date of September 5, 2001.
Time will tell and this might just prove to be an interesting week coming up IMO.

To potential advertisers we can offer the most attractive demographic targets in the U.S. The gay and lesbian community is highly educated, has a household income over 60% higher than the average American household, and they tend to have a much higher level of disposal income than the national average. Additionally, this niche group is disenfranchised from American society and effectively overlooked by mass marketing mediums.
With a population loosely estimated to range from 8 – 15% of the U.S. population, or approximately between 21-40 million people, this enormous market is, in many ways unseen, and, at least by the mass marketing vehicles, untapped.
We can bring information about your product or services to one of the most attractive demographic targets in the United States. The gay and lesbian community has over $514 billion dollars in purchasing power—a number simply too big to ignore. And, this estimated value does not include the ancillary market—friends of gays, parents, children of gay men and women, and more. The value of this audience is overwhelming. To quote Simmons Market Research Gay and Lesbian Market Study, “respondents are well-educated, affluent, sophisticated customer’s who show loyalty to advertisers willing to take the risk of marketing to them”.

I had my shares converted through my broker, JB OXFORD. I never contacted Mr. Cassings. Apparently all the brokerage houses were aware of the conversion and handled it without a hitch. I believe E-TRADE handled it as well. The cutoff date was March 12th. Call your broker and insist they convert.
I will attempt to get you more info.
Good Luck

QBID/CMDA UPDATE
April 6, 2001....
To our Friends and Supporters:
We appreciate your patience as we go through the creation of our one-of-a-kind television network. It hasn’t been easy. But rather than give you hype or promises, this will bring you up to date on our progress.
Perhaps you are unaware of the millions of dollars involved to get a new television network underway? New equipment, programming and talent are only a few of the factors required for a 24/7 operation. We have had to seek out investors, sponsors and advertisers to become a part of our team. Our staff has had one focus only: to get the Triangle Television Network on the air.
There has been some concern regarding our change of name from the Gay Television Network to the Triangle Television Network. First, we have had complaints that “gay” has a prominently male orientation and, as we encompass all of our lifestyles, we felt this was a justifiable change. On a second level, we also found that the corporate world still has hang-ups with the term “gay” and while we do not wish to succumb to pressure from outside sources, we must always keep our main goal of getting the Network on the air at the forefront. So, please accept us as the Triangle Television Network – a rose by any other name…
Now the good news: We are presently conducting broadcast tests between our studios and the Satellite Provider. There is no point in going on the air if our signal is unsatisfactory. The satellite signal must travel 46,000 miles through space from a station to your home, and that means there is very little room for error. We are currently running test patterns, sample broadcasts, live air tests, as well as audio tests, to get everything up to spec. This is truly wonderful news as when the testing phase is completed, we can officially begin our first broadcast day.
When will we hit the air? Hopefully soon. But until the tests and other matters have been resolved we cannot give you a definitive date. Please be patient. We are on the brink of success.
Thank you again for your tremendous support and your patience.
Sincerely,
TTN

Greetings
The weather here in New Jersey is beautiful. Highs expected around 60 degrees. Spring is in the air.
Hmmmm It might be a great day to visit Denver. Nothing like skiing in the spring.
Willy,
According to my broker everything was certified today and should be reflected in my account on Monday. He understood exactly what has taken place and said he has done many just like this.
At this point the best thing for all of us to do is support Frank and hope for the best. He is very close to pulling this thing off. If he does it will be uphill all the way to the top IMO.
Regards,
Joe JcRadio
