Great find, thanks for sharing on the board,
so now LMT has 2 months to start announcing all those contracts they have been holding back.
Next CC sometime in mid November.
And yet we still wait for any substantiations of a reverse split or 8cents a share or bankruptcy or hang man charts or Visser’s insider knowledge dump at 6cents or patents expiring or Li scam etc etc
With the reputation of Li buying into technologies and growing them into bigger companies, i hope once he finalises the deal with LMT he will then start using some of that $55 million for MA, buying up essential amorphous tech and making LMT more dominate. He would have 405 million reasons to make lqmt successful.
Pet food is just 1 grade below Processed food, and there are many pet food suppliers offering human grade pet food.
Lots of outdoors survivalist programs where the host eats rats guts n all, Much better pet food i think.
Don’t know what it would taste like on a slice of toast since i don’t eat bread anymore
Thats comparing Apples to Oranges.
“….this is what the marine did out of it they took a classified information that was put into a gym bag claim that wash…” ~ Goodlatte
….”but regardless i think even i don’t think this is under the same provision but even there that’s the case involving someone who actually stole classified information hardcopies….” ~ Comey
Whats truly shameful is that after Many people here genuinely offered their heartfelt Prayers and well wishes, the Recipient is happy to continue with his manipulation of those folks. Disgraceful.
If you didn't grasp Homebrew's post, maybe Veronicafox's explanation will help,

We will just have to inform those newborns whats what.
I wonder what the royalties from Apple would be if the LiquidMetal formula is Eontec's.
Interesting times ahead.
Similar to the Depressible Home button on iDevices made from Amorphous Alloys,
Apple now is patenting Depressible Keys for keyboards. What Glass material can be molded and yet be Depressible, bend and deflect.
Descriptions of 400 and 402 being the cover, surface, underside, key etc.
No, Apple will never mention its LiquidMetal, so no recognition for LMT or any of the expected publicity benefits that would come from being mentioned.
Don't know if these keys will be on the new MacPro to be launched next Thursday.

In theory its easy to put thousands of formulas together via software.
But you then have to actually take those thousands of formulas out into the real world and find Global companies that can fund the expensive and time consuming R&D, such as Engel and Apple.
Then should 1 of the thousands of formulas prove successful, you would have to find a supplier for the raw materials such as Eontec and Materion.
Then find a manufacturer who can mass produce parts made from the alloy, such as EON.
Then more importantly you would have to license the IP to inject mold that formula from CIP.
Its good to see research continuing into amorphous alloys, as LMT stated, they will become the central hub for amorphous alloys knowledge, maybe some of the funds from Li will go into acquiring companies making LMT even more dominate.
Sold/spun off by LMT to stay afloat, the tech is a dead end, expensive with limited durability, heat and wear degrade the coating very fast.
Nice article, thanks for posting.
Between the two posts 'Amorphous' is mentioned 12 times but 'liquidmetal' is not used once.
Grrrr, every-time you mention chocolates i get another sugar craving, its killing my diet.
And now for some strange reason i feel like roasted rabbit and peking duck, damn am i that impressionable.
Looking forward to your lqmt prediction comping true today Gorgol, but if not no worries, gives me more time to keep shovelling those pennies into my bag.
Thanks JR for organising the Price prediction game,
by giving everyone a chance to be the Hoos Hoo you’ve exposed to everyone Whats What,
nicely done Sir.
The all 'glass' iPhone will have lots of non-conductive metal semi interior/exterior parts isolated from the rest of the 'glass' exterior. Check out the pdf from the link.

Its possible, 3/4 million shares sold in the first 30 minutes of trade on no news,
interesting to see how the trading day buy/sell ratio ends today and Friday.
Must Respect His Authoritah !!
If a major contract is announced but will not bring any revenue for several months and will not bring LMT into profitability for several months after that, the Share Price would still rocket up. Markets value a stock on forward potential. Everyones just waiting for the news.
Brilliantly Witty !
Now start dodging those bullets.
Whats also revealing is that a man of Prof. Li's caliber and connections HAD to make a deal with LMT.
He can not proceed without LMT. That speaks volumes of lqmt's potential.
#105: Deformable bulk-solidifying amorphous alloy. AKA LiquidMetal.
http://www.patentlyapple.com/.a/6a0120a5580826970c01b8d1aae518970c-pi
Its been used in all recent iDevices except the latest iPhone7.
This is old news i posted a while ago. The Taptic/Haptic springs are also Amorphous as are several other internal components, but Apple never mentions them, nor is it certain that its LMT's BMG formula or if CIP patents are involved, but its old news that Apple uses BMG, recall their 'new' alloys that are used in the aWatch and series 7000 aluminium iPhone cases, that Apple no longer highlights as such.
Again, ANY alloy can be made amorphous or semi-amorphous if it is chilled fast enough.
And no, LMT does not earn Money from them BUT does gain the R&D.
Correct, LMT does not earn money directly from Apple's use of LMT's BMG formula or use of CIP,
not unless Apple contracts LMT or its partner EON or use EON's BMG formula or Patents.
The only monetary reward for LMT is via recognition of the technology, which Apple is happy not to publicise.
What seems silly is that you never heard about the Mazda RX cars with the Wankel Rotary engine.
That engine did make it off the test stand and into several production cars.

I don't know of any teardown that teared apart the home button and individually analysed each component, additionally did you read the title of the article ?
The rumour of a liquidmetal display might refer to these 2 patents, where the home button disappears and is replaced by a metal assembly under the OLED screen,
http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2016/10/apple-wins-another-patent-covering-touch-id-moving-to-beneath-the-display-of-an-ios-device.html
http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2016/08/apple-granted-59-patents-today-covering-a-liquid-metal-based-touch-interface-apples-home-button-more.html
I cant decipher what the technicals mean in the patent regarding electrostatic, dielectric, insulated, conductive, capacitive, but i do know that, at the very least, a grainless BMG alloy would be best suited to read the fine fingerprint details than crystallised metal would.
A side note, BMG is already used in the home button of all iDevices (except the new iPhone7)
Apple just never mentions it.
http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2016/03/apple-granted-40-patents-today-with-one-revealing-that-liquid-metal-is-used-in-all-idevice-home-buttons.html
Absolutely, management will make a killing with their bags full of lqmt.
re Gamesc Eontec post, translated, DMN this is similar to the first article in your sticky post but is worded differently.

Don't know the percentage LMT gets, just guessing here when LMT earns money on the agreement,
- LMT transfers orders to EON.
- the trademark 'LiquidMetal' is used by a customer marketing their product.
- CIP IP is used to make orders.
- orders are for regions outside of EON's exclusion zones.
- orders requires Materion's superior BMG formula.
- Engel machines or parts thereof are needed for orders.
With Li owning 36%-45% of lqmt, i'm sure he wont mind LMT making lots of money.
Nice, at its simplest the Apple emblem would be ideal to hot form a hologram, one way to identify its not a clone phone.
I once saw an article about forming equal spaced and sized micro grove gratings so that the surface reflects back just 1 solid color, No need for anodising. To change the color, the micro grove size is made to precisely match and reflect the wavelength of the desired color.
I don't think he made it but he definitely inspired it. Although i can see a little bit of us all in that video.
And its also possible to Engrave those molds, Imagine an iPhone case with beautiful engravings on it.
Jonathan Ive's father was a silver smith and Jony once said that if he wasn't working at Apple he would be Engraving Silver for his friends.
